Blitz and Mari walk through the Tokyo-3 Megamall mall. Looking to get something to eat, they walk to the food court.

"Can we get Takoyaki Blitz?" Mari asks.

Blitz nods and they head to the Takoyaki stand. "Two please," he asked, pulling out some yen.

Blitz gives the worker some yen and the worker gives him and Makinami 2 plates of Takoyaki. The 2 head off to a Table to sit down and eat.

Blitz stops eating, swallows hard, and asks, "So I heard your class is taking a trip. Where are you going?"

"We're going scuba diving in Okinawa," Mari answers, "Why'd you ask?"

"Just curious." He replies.

"Did your class ever go on a school trip?" the 4th child questioned.

The captain leaned back in his chair, thinking back to his days as a teenager.

/Did I ever truly go on a school trip/ He asked himself, twirling a toothpick between his lips.

"Helloooo, you gonna answer the question?" Mari impatiently asked.

Blitz was snapped back to reality from his daydreaming. Unfortunately, gravity caught up with him and he fell backward onto the floor.

"Owwww," Blitz moaned while peeling himself off the floor, "No, we didn't go on a school trip. Mainly due to the second impact."

Mari took in what Blitz had said and responded with, "Oh I forgot. I'm sorry for bringing it up."

"Nah It's ok. Besides, who cares about some stupid school trip" the captain joked, "by the way, you never answered my question. Are you going to Okinawa?"

Mari thought for a second and responded with," Nope. School trips aren't my thing either, and Misato probably wouldn't let us go anyway."

As soon as Blitz heard this he grinned widely, chuckled a little, and exclaimed, "Oh that won't be a problem. I have a plan"

Song- Asuka STRIKES, Neon Genesis Evangelion

It was 20:45 in Tokyo-3 and everyone was back home. All of the human household members were at the table discussing something. But to Penpen, that was none of his business. He was just in the bathtub, enjoying his evening swim. That was until he heard

"WHAAAAAAAT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN'T GO TO OKINAWA?" Asuka yelled with disbelief in her voice.

Calmly, Misato stated, "All of you are on standby just in case an angel attacks. We need every Eva on standby since we don't know how powerful the next angel could be. So that means not going anywhere outside of Tokyo-3 unless it has something to do with Nerv."

The redhead was stunned and angered at what she heard. But she didn't have a counter-argument for Misato's solid logic and authority. So she had to use her last-ditch effort. She didn't like it, but she had to use it.

Asuka pointed to Shinji and bellowed, "Well aren't you going to say anything about this?"

Shinji quickly turned around to face the second and stuttered, "Misato has a point, we don't know what the angels are capable of. So we just have to stay here just in case."

Asuka at this point was on the edge and shouted, "WHY DID GOD GIVE YOU BALLS IF YOU WEREN'T GOING TO USE THEM?"

Blitz knew this was a good time to barge in with his piece. So he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and prepared his part.

"Aren't you forgetting someone?" The man asked. Everyone turned to face him.

"No, because you're not an Eva pilot." The captain firmly said.

The Japanese captain argued, "Well I did kill an angel plus I did just get my powers back. I'll be able to take on anything that comes our way now. Let the kids have some R&R, it'll clear their minds."

The purple-haired woman sighed, she knew Blitz wasn't lying about the whole power thing and his explanation was convincing. But she wasn't going to let them go without at least one condition.

"Alright, they can go. But only 2 of them can go, the rest stay here with us." Misato announced.

Asuka's grumpy mood soon changed to an extremely happy one. She could finally go to Okinawa with Hikari and Mari. They would play volleyball and sunbathe and-

"Alright, I guess I'll be the first one to say that I'm going to stay behind," Mari stated.

Asuka was pulled back to reality at Mach 6 by what Mari had said. Her best friend had just said that she was going to stay behind and fight angels instead of coming on the school trip with her. It would be a heavy understatement to say she was devastated. But she thought of something

/ At least I'll have Rei to keep me company,/ the redhead thought

"I'll stay behind too," Rei announced.

That was it. Her plans for the trip officially fucked over.

"Well, I guess Shinji and Asuka are going," Blitz declared while yawning, "God I'm tired. I'm going to my room."

Misato yawns too and says, "Yeah you have the right idea. I'm going to bed"

Eventually, everyone had gone to bed. Except for Asuka who was still stunned from watching her two friends bail on her.

The next day was quite an eventful one. Nerv has found an unborn angel inside of Mount Asama and everyone is split on what to do with it. Misato wants to capture it for valuable information, but someone has other plans.

"We will not capture the angel," Gendo firmly states

Misato was shocked to hear this but quickly brushed it off and asked, "Well why not?"

Gendo adjusted his glasses and said, "If we take the offensive, we could run the risk of causing the third impact, effectively losing this war."

"I see, well thank you, commander," Misato replied.

The captain walked out, a little miffed at what just happened.

A few moments later Fuyutsuki comments, "A good choice, but it does seem we're always on the defensive."

"The best offense is a solid defense my old friend," Gendo stated.

Later that day, it started raining all across Japan. It was a normal occurrence. But something also came with the rain. Something straight out of MT. Asama. a new threat to the human race had come.

Sandalphon awakened

It was still storming by the time the pilots and their captain arrived, and another angel fight was about to happen and this one looked both ugly and scary. To the pilots of the carriers and Vtol, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be this close to something like this. To the pilots and Blitz, It was a Wednesday.

"Alright you three, this one just popped up and looks to be pretty timid. That doesn't mean it's dangerous so I have a plan. Unit 05 and unit 00 will engage it in close quarters combat with their gun lance and progressive knives respectively," Misato orders," They're also equipped with N2 batteries that supply them with 10 minutes of extra power."

Blitz raised an eyebrow and asked, "Hey what about me?"

Misato, a little surprised, responds with, "I…. You'll be back-up for"

"Like hell, I'll back up!" Blitz exclaims, cutting off Misato, "Listen up girls, you two will be supporting me by getting rid of the angel's AT. field while I fight. Do you understand?"

Mari disliked this idea but went with it regardless. Rei just accepted it too. "Yes," both pilots answered.

"Well you know what to do Eva lau-, wait I wanna say something else" Blitz announced, "Ahem. Talk about low-budget flights! No food or movies? I'm outta here! I like running better!" The captain says jumping out of the VTOL

Everyone in Nerv either Face palmed extremely hard or laughed extremely hard.

The Evas soon followed Their captain and was detached into the air. When all 3 hit the ground they were pretty far from the angel, But could see it all in its glory.

The angel was some kind of weird beast. It had a mask on its face similar to Sachiel, but it didn't cover the mouth which was full of sharp teeth like Gaghiel. Its middle area was covered in a ribcage also similar to the 3rd angel, but its core was nowhere to be seen. It had wings that you could see the bones of and was covered in black flesh. What wasn't covered up was some kind of blackish grey. Lastly, its feet almost looked like human hands. All four of them had 4 toes respectively and had some kind of armor on it.

"This thing looks like a dragon," Mari commented.

"Yeah, a fucked up dragon made by H.P. Lovecraft," Blitz adds, "But we can take it, so let's go."

Blitz runs straight towards the angel at incredible speeds, covering the distance between the two in mere seconds. When he was nearing the monster he jumped into the air and raised his left hand.

"I'll make this quick and easy," He announced, appearing to charge something in the palm of his raised hand. But he was cut short as the angel swung its tail at him and hit him. The angel's tail had chopped off the captain's hand. A couple of seconds pass with silence in the air. It was quiet enough to hear a feather drop. Or a hand.

Then everything went to hell.

Song- The Beast, Neon Genesis Evangelion

All of Nerv was in a panic. One of their best captains had just gotten crippled. It was a complete disaster right out of the gate. Everyone was scrambling to prepare medics for Blitz, N2 mines just in case something worse happens to him or the Evas, or giving out orders to the pilots.

Meanwhile, Blitz dashed back and grabbed his arm Yelling out, "Goddammit I got sloppy!"

Unfortunately for him, the angel was about to finish the job. But in a blind rage, unit 05 immediately rushed towards the angel. It tackled Sandalphon into the volcano's side, leaving it stunned. The green Evangelion then grabbed its head and violently slammed it into the volcano 10 times in a row, each time leaving more and more of a grayish-green stain on the wall. It then took its gun lance and stabbed the angel right into the angel's stomach, and fired off 3 rounds into it. When she was done, Mari had pulled out the lance from her victim's intestines. She then turned around to look at her caretaker, who was on both knees and his right elbow holding his arm.

"Blitz!" Mari screamed, " What happened?!"

"I got sloppy. It's been so long since I've been in a fight with my powers," he answered looking upwards, "But don't worry, I'll be fine in a second."

Meanwhile, in the communication room, Ritsuko had caught the word powers and stopped for a second.

/What does he mean by that?/ She thought

"What do you mean?" she asked, "Your whole hand is gone, there's no recovering from that-"

"Mari look out!" Blitz screamed at the top of his lungs.

Makinami turned around to see a tail heading straight for her face, but she couldn't do anything about it. Everyone looked in horror as unit 05 was about to be beheaded by Sandalphon's sharp tail. Mari threw her arms up and closed her eyes in fear, but she didn't feel anything. She opened her eyes to find Unit 00 struggling with Sandalphon's tail. It was caught right between the cyclops' hands.

Struggling to get the words out, Rei asked," Are you two ok?"

"Y-Yeah," Mari answered.

"Then it would be greatly appreciated if you helped me" The red-eyed pilot insisted.

Unit 05 grabbed the tail with its hand and threw the angel back into the wall with all of its might. Unit 00 regained its composure and took out both of its progressive knives. Then both of the Evangelion rushed at Sandalphon, ready for a fight.

Blitz looked at the fight right in front of him and thought, /Now that they're distracting it, I can finally do what I need to do./ He slowly got up from his position and stuck his left arm out right in front of his body. He closed his eyes as he started to concentrate. Slowly but surely, gray ice started to sprout from where his hand used to be. It grew from a small little icicle into a big block. Then it shattered and revealed a new hand for Blitz made out of ice. He opened his eyes and placed his limb right in front of his face, squeezing it.

Everyone at Nerv stopped to see what happened and was stunned. Whatever Blitz was, they were glad he was on their side.

The captain looked at the fight, smiled widely, and stated, "It's been a long time since I needed to do that. Now that my hand is back, time for some sweet revenge"

Song- Vela nova, Sonic Rush

"Both of you, Get out of the way!" Blitz exclaimed. Mari and Rei turn around to see a fully healed Blitz charging straight at them. They both jumped away from the angel and right to where they saw the captain. Blitz then jumped into the air and raised his leg to kick Sandalphon straight in the gut. But the angel raised its A.T. Field and blocked the attack. Fortunately, Blitz then ran up the field and jumped off of it. While in the air he raised his hand and formed an ice greatsword into his right hand. He then flew straight down at the angel and swung the greatsword at its wings, cutting them in half. The angel roared and writhed in pain.

"Doesn't feel so good when you lose a limb doesn't it?" Blitz asked in a sarcastic tone. He then stopped in the air right under the monster's head, formed a fist with his left hand, cocked his arm, and punched Sandalphon's jaw. It flew into the air, right over the volcano. As it was falling, Sandalphon made a platform out of its A.T. field. Catching its breath, it started to regenerate its broken jaw and wings. But then it looked up to see something. Blitz was right above it, charging an attack in his left hand.

Still charging the attack, the captain Shouted, "Mari, Rei, put your A.T. fields up as high as they can go."

"Hai." They both answered, erecting A.T. fields

Sandalphon was tired of these charades and began to charge a powerful attack in its mouth. It then blasted off a powerful flame from its mouth straight at Blitz.

"Too late!" Blitz shouted. He smashed down on his left hand with his right and an icy ball instantly formed around him. The flame hit the ball and began to penetrate it, but the ball started to grow. It became larger and larger until it was near Sandalphon's face. Then it exploded.

The cameras in the bridge went white. Nobody knew what just happened, and nobody knew what to do. The silence was finally broken when one person announced

"It's snowing all over Japan"

Song-Snowman, Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Ice and snow had covered everything. Everywhere as far as the eye could see. Nothing was a color other than silver, white, or blue. It was a winter wonderland that no one has seen since pre 2nd impact days.

Units 00 and 05 brushed themselves off as they looked around to see what had happened.

"Holy shit,"Mari said, looking pretty stunned,"Whatever icicle did, it was big."

Rei on the other hand, was pretty confused. She looked right below her and questioned, "What is this?"

"It's snow you dummy."

They looked to their right to see a worn-out Blitz getting up from the snow layered on him.

Brushing himself off, Blitz then asked, "How are you two holding up?"

"I'm pretty good," Mari answered, "What about you blueberry?"

"I'm….. Fine," the 1st child muttered.

"Great, because we're not done. That attack was supposed to stop the angel, but I don't see a body anywhere so keep your guard up and -" He was cut short by something going through his chest.

Sandalphon uncamouflaged from right behind the Captain. two of its arms were gone but both of its wings regenerated. Its tail retracted from its victim's chest, leaving him dead. Blitz coughed out blood as he was trying to regain his composure, but he was too injured and fell straight to the ground.

Mari and Rei watched in horror as the beast started to stomp on Blitz. Mari was screaming for it to stop while Rei looked on in shock. It kept stomping until there was a foot-shaped crater in the ground. It then turned its attention to the two pilots and charged at them. That's when something snapped in Mari's head.

Maya had seen what was happening, and what was about to happen."S-senpai," She stammered.

Ritsuko looked in horror and muttered, "Yes, I see."

Their computer had shown a 95% sync ratio for the 5th child.

Song-My Brother, Berserk 2016

Unit 05 stretched out its singular hand and erected an A.T. Field right in front of it. The charging Sandalphon crashed into it and was stopped in its tracks. Unit 05 then took down its field, balled up its fist, and punched the angel with a powerful right hook. The dragon went flying from where unit 05 and 00 were to the volcano wall and cracked it. Unit 05's jaw then started to come loose and ripped open, letting out a powerful roar with it.

"I'm going to make you suffer," Mari murmured, "I'm going to rip your damn head off and shove it straight through your fucking heart,"

Unit 05 skated straight towards the angel in a furious rage. It slammed into Sandalphon and stabbed it straight in its gut, but that wasn't it. It fired off round after round in it, breaking the wall to the volcano as it fired. Eventually, it pulled out the lance and punched the angel hard in its face once again. The punch broke the wall and dropped the dragon downwards into the frozen volcano.

The angel gained its composure and started to fly in mid-air. When it looked up, it saw unit 05 standing right above it, getting into a position. The Eva launched itself into the air and pierced the inner wall of the volcano with its hand. It hung onto the wall, lifting itself. Then it started to shoot at Sandalphon with its gun lance. The monster saw these incoming bullets and rushed in with its A.T. field erected. The field blocked the bullets and it used its tail to slice off Unit 05's gun lance. The angel then bit onto its opponent's neck.

"AAAAAAAAA!"

Mari screamed at the unbearable pain, but the pain was only temporary as the anger came rushing back in. She took 05's hand out of the volcano and grabbed onto Sandalphon's tail. The angel and Eva both dropped down, falling towards the frozen lava. Unit 05 then took the dragon's tail and threw the whole beast straight downwards, ripping off the very end of the tail in the process. Sandalphon spiraled out of control and hit the platform back first. As it was assessing what just happened, it saw The green Evangelion falling towards it, and fast. So it scrapped up the last of its energy and put it all into charging one big fire blast.

"Oh no you don't shithead!" Mari bellowed

When Mari looked down she saw the angel charging something. So she took the end of the tail she had and pulled it into the air. Unit 05 roared in anger as it fell right onto the monster. It then thrust the tail dagger into Sandalphon's mouth, piercing its core. This instantly broke the core and caused a huge explosion

The angel was defeated

You thought I was dead, didn't you? WELL TOO BAD! I'm alive. Yeah, this one was a doozy to write. After all, this was the first fight where Blitz had his powers. Anyways sorry for the long wait. School is a bitch and a half, Johm was busy doing his own thing, and I was busy enjoying summer break. So I hope everyone enjoys this long-awaited chapter

NEXT EPISODE OF ICEBREAKERS. The 10th angel is defeated, but both Mari and Blitz are in bad shape. Meanwhile, Japan receives snow for the first time in 14 years. Will the pilots have a winter break? Will the 5th child and her guardian survive? When will we get that 4.0 du- oh. WELL FORGET THAT LAST PART AND TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR THE NEXT EPISODE OF ICE BREAKERS. And there's going to be lots of fanservice
