"This place looks so cool!" Izzabella said with a bright smile as they walked past some uniformed officers who gave shocked looks when they saw Elliot and Izzabella with Olivia. "I'm really glad you like it sweetie! This is called a police station, when people do bad things it's mine and my friends jobs to find them, bring them here and make them tell us what they did wrong, it's like timeout for grownups" Olivia explained with a smile as Izzabella smiled and nodded her head as they entered the elevator.

"Can i mash the button?" "Sure kiddo it's number 3" she said as she then pushed it with a smile "is that why you have these? So that the bad people know your a police officer?" She asked pointing at her gun and badge.

"That's part of the reason sweetheart but not all of it. I also have them so that good people will know that i'm safe and can be trusted." "Ahh that's right stranger danger", she smiled remembering as they exited the elevator

"if it isn't Elliot Stabler! It's damn good to see you man, it's been to long" Fin said as he walked up and gave him a clap on the shoulder "it's good to see you to man, I'm here to set some things streight and kill some rather bad rumors about me once and forall."

"Huh man? What rumors?"

"Ahh i take it you didn't here", "no i didn't but considering that you usually don't care what anybody thinks at all these can't be good rumors." "No they aren't, Olivia came home crying yesterday because of something that someone said about me , I don't care what you all think about me but when it starts upsetting and getting to her then people will have problems with me."

"I see your just as overprotective as I last saw you." Cragen slightly chuckled then hugged him "it's great to see you again Elliot i didn't think we'd see the day!"

"So he hasn't been abducted by aliens?" "I could have swore... I'm so happy to see you though munch said joining every one in greeting him as he then quickly scurried back to the crime board.

"Yeah i know right? hey cap would it be alright if Izzabella sat in your office while i talk to every one? This isn't really umm kid friendly." Elliot said as Cragen just nodded his head "yeah sure, izzi, would you like to come into my office with me for a few minutes? I'll let you help me use the copy machine and you can color." "Ok grandpa Don, that sounds fun" she said as she went in there with him just as Nick, Amanda and Barba walked into the squadroom.

"whose that?" Amanda asked fin pointing at Elliot.

"That's Elliot Stabler, apparently something that 1 of you said to liv pissed her off enough that she told him and it pissed him off enough for him to come here and set things streight."

"Elliot Stabler? Is that who she calls El? Her old partner who left her high and dry after 12 years of partnership?"

"Yep that's the one, and just for the record i told you and Barba to stay out of her personal business that it was a hell of a lot more complicated then you both thought but you didn't heave my advice so now i'm staying out of it and i wish you luck in dealing with his wrath."

"We didn't say anything to her that we didn't think was true", Barba said as Elliot then sauntered up to all of them "to the people who don't know me my name is Elliot Stabler, and I am Olivia's husband. No i haven't come around the precinct at all in 3 years, yes I retired from the force and yes those actions were my choice. Although it is absolutely none of you guy's bisness why i made those choices and i do not appreciate you saying things about my wife's personal life with out understanding the hole story I'm here to set things streight.

"As you probably all know 3 years ago there was a shooting in this precinct which took place almost exactly where I'm standing now. A sixteen year old girl named Jenna Fox came in here with a gun, she started opening fire on a few men who were in our holding cell who were responsible for the death of her mother. Once she shot them though she started to wildly wave her gun around, she shot sister Peg who was standing right beside Olivia, before she could shoot anyone else i fired my gun. I only intended to shoot her in the left shoulder to wound her...

Elliot started to tear up and Olivia gently put a hand on his shoulder and rubbed it.

He sighed as tears fell but he continued to speak "but she anticipated my shot , moved the slightest bit and my bullet pierced her heart. She died in my arms. After that I... I very simply couldn't show my face around here anymore, i was responsible for the death of a girl who was right around the age of my daughter Elizabeth, I just ... I just couldn't do the job any more with that guilt plus as Fin, Cap and Munch already know, Olivia went into labor with our daughter Izzabella while trying to stop sister pegg's bleeding so for me that was the perfect out. We didn't have the money for a nanny, we didn't want a nanny and taking care of her while Liv went back to work after her maternity leave was up was just what i needed to get through my depression. No it might not be orthodox, no i might not look like a person who would enjoy or even consider being a stay at home dad..." Elliot's face was bright red now in anger but his voice was surprisingly even and calm, "but i love my daughter, all of my kids and my wife more than life itself and for anyone to have the balls! to say that i could intentionally make my daughter sick to make Olivia come home more doesn't know me at all!

"Hold up... you guys said what now?" Fin was angry to now as Barba's face paled "I... i apologize Mr. Stabler... It just seemed logical at the time."

"Well it's not true and a word of advice for the future young man, maybe you should get to know a person before you start making accusations about them , and let me tell you something right now ADA Barba." He walked right up to him and got eye level with him, his eyes looked dangerously angry, "if you ever and I mean ever make my wife come home in tears again because of some stupid remark that you've made with no facts about the situation then me and you will have serious problems because let me tell you almost nothing makes my wife cry the way she did last night do you understand me?"

"Are you threatening me mr. Stabler?"

He looked him dead in the eyes "no i'm not threatening you, I'm making you a promise so do we understand each other? Are we clear?"

"Crystal", Barba said as he stepped away from him and over to Olivia "olivia i... I'm sorry for what i said. I realize i was wrong now, very very wrong." "I forgive you Rafael, i think that you learned something from this and that all in all something good came from this" she said as Elliot had made his way over to Nick "are you detective Amaro?"

"Yes sir i am it's a pleasure to meat you, i heard amazing things. If i didn't know better i'd think you were more than human the way Liv talks about you. I think she's always admired you."

Elliot chuckled "Liv's to kind.. I'm human just like all of you, i have my faults like every one else in the world. I certainly wasn't a perfect cop."

"Well whatever the case i've wanted to meat you for years now, even if it was just once to know who my partner looked up to so much." "Oh nick that's in the present tense, i still look up to him , i couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with" she said looking at Elliot.

"Oh baby.. I certainly try to be every thing that you deserve" he said as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the cheek.

Just then the moment was interrupted as Cragen walked out of his office with little Izzabella beside him "as much as i hate to break up this long overdue reunion we all have work to do, real work. There's been a rape in central park, Fin Rollins, head to the crime scene with CSU, Benson , Amaro, head to mercy and get her statement.

They all nodded as the family of 3 gave final hugs and kisses and headed their separate ways to go about their day.
