Izuku had been fighting the robots for a while not with varied success. The one pointers were tin enough on their head plates for her to shove her booted foot through them, giving her 5 points this way before she kicked wrong and tore up her leg. The two and three pointers were more difficult until she osed a broken piece of a robot to attack them with. This gave her a total of 14 points, but she needed more. There were two minutes left on the clock when the street started to rumble. Looking up ahead she saw the towering form of the Zero Pointer headed down the street. She turned to run away, only to hear a small cry for help. Turning around she spotted the girl pinned under some concrete.

She ran to the girl without a second thought.

As she slid to a stop next to her she analyzed the situation. The rubble was large, definitely heavy. But was it heavier than that washing machine she had been training with? The girl was obviously in pain, possibly a concussion based on her inability to focus. The Zero Pointer was closing in fast.

"When I tell you to, yank your leg out as fast and as far as you can. It'll hurt but you'll be alive to feel it." The girls eyes focused a bit on Izuku and she nodded. Izuku grabbed the side of the rubble closest to her and started to lift it. It was definitely heavier than the washing machine, but she could feel it moving even as her muscles protested. She felt it shift a bit off the girls ankle and she screamed "NOW!"

The girl gave a yell as she yanked and pulled her foot loose. As soon as she was far enough away Izuku let the rubble drop. She looked up to see the Zero Pointer almost over top of them and quickly used her protesting arms to pick up the girl. The girl quickly slapped her own face and instantly weighed literally nothing. Izuku smirked and picked up speed. Just as they were about to pass the gate Present Mic yelled "TIME!" and Izuku carefully collapsed in relief. The girl pressed her hands together only to then push away from Izuku and proceed to vomit all over the floor in front of her.

It only took Recovery girl a few minutes to make it to the two girls and heal them with a few words of encouragement.

As Izuku stepped into her home that night she was bombarded with cries of "Mama!" and several tiny bodies ramming into her. It was the best feeling in the world as they all asked if she got in, their voices overlapping into a familiar sound of family.

She explained what she could of what she remembered before sending everyone out so she could prepare dinner. As the kids walked in and out of the apartment she couldn't help but smile. Looks like she'd have to go shopping again. Thankfully they had enough rice and many smaller portions of ingredients to make chirashizushi. She'll take whoever wants to come with shopping tomorrow. Maybe they'll get some good deals over in the Kaimono district. As she finished up the food she walked over to the front door and poked her head out to whistle a small but loud tune. She waited until she got an answering whistle before going back to the kitchen to serve the food.

The next morning saw seven kids going with her shopping, Teka, Daichi who had a shapeshifting quirk that let him turn into a dog, Taro, Kira who looked like a demon with her black horns and red skin, Sachi who could talk to computers, Bo who had a strength enhancing quirk and was half American, and the twins Haru and Beru. They set out at 7 in order to beat the crowds later in the day and took the train to Kaimono. She got a few sympathetic looks from strangers for having to wrangle 7 kids all alone, until the kids called her Mama and the looks shifted to confusion due to her age.

Entering the store saw the kids racing off together while she grabbed a cart. She wasn't too worried, they kept wandering back periodically to make sure she was still in the store. The only one that stayed after the initial scatter was Teka who sat on her shoulder in her smaller size so no one could grab her as easily. She was nervous around new people but hated staying cooped up inside all the time. Bo and Beru came running up to her holding a brightly colored package.

"Mama! Mama! Can we get these? Please?" She looked at the box to find it was a box of jelly pouches.

"Let me see it." The box was handed to her and she scanned the ingredients. It was all natural and was actually very healthy for growing kids. She looked for a price. "How much was it?"

"1700 for a box." Izuku bit her lip in thought. That was a lot of money for 8 jelly pouches. But it did have only good ingredients. Maybe if she forgoes shampoo and uses dish soap...

A quiet huff startles her out of her thoughts. Turning she finds an adult man in an all black outfit with a long gray scarf standing at the end of the aisle.

"If you want a good deal on those I'd go to Buy n Large down the road. You get a 24 pack for about 200 yen less." His voice was surprisingly deep and tinged with exhaustion.

"Ah thank you sir." she gave a short bow so as not to drop Teka. "Alright, you heard the man, we'll finish the regular shopping and then check out Buy n Large." The kids let out a happy yell and both Bo and Beru ran to tell the others. She turned to thank the man again only to find him gone. She half shrugged before moving on to the rice section.

As she headed for the checkout her kids slowly migrated back over to her. She handed the cashier her card and paid before passing out the bags of groceries. She took the heavy bag of rice and headed toward the next store. Inside the Buy n Large was literal warehouse shelves full of bulk product, all at relatively cheap prices. This was every struggling moms dream store.

It had been about a week since her exam and she was waiting for the results to come in. And by that she meant the kids were all camping out by the mailbox waiting for her letter while she darned Kosei's uniform pants. His quirk caused him to randomly let out sharp diamond like stones when he got excited. He ended up getting really excited in class yesterday when given the assignment to write about their family. He really liked talking about his new family, especially all his siblings. A stampede of feet and sounds of arguing caught her ears right before the door slammed open to admit Kosei holding an envelope.

"It's here! From UA!" and before he could take a step forward Teka rapidly grew to normal height and tore the letter out of his hands. She ran to hand it to Izuku, to Kosei's indignant squall.

As she stared at the letter in surprise she felt her hands shake. This was it, this was the deciding factor for if she was going to be stuck at the club, or if she can escape it sooner. She gripped both sides of the envelope and tore it open. A small disk fell out and landed on the floor in front of her. As the last of the kids trickled inside it burst to life with the voice and image of All Might. She tuned him out with a grimace and pulled out the accompanying papers. Scanning quickly, she ended up having to reread it in order for it to sink in. She was accepted. She was going to UA.

"You got second place Mama! They said you got in!" Teka's voice broke her out of her thoughts in time to join the kids in cheering.

She did it.
