AN: Slash, a.k.a. male/male affection. Written for my girlfriend since she likes Kurt/Scott. Fluff!

Kurt feels as if he'll never get used to living at the mansion. Even though he's been here for quite some time now, it still doesn't feel like home. Even in the beginning, with fewer students than now, it felt crowded to him. Kurt has just always been used to being by himself or at least close to it.
He might be considered to be the clown of the company, but he still feels the most comfortable being close to alone. Especially when it's late in the evening and it's Scott he's with. Kurt knows it might be wrong to have a crush on the uptight team leader, but he can't help himself, especially not when Scott takes a break from the leader role and is just like any other teenager.
And not when they're watching movies all bundled up in the couch. It's not just the two of them, but it's close enough and they are close enough, Kurt having inconspicuously chosen the seat next to Scott. So Kurt doesn't mind, especially not when the other people taking up space in the couch gives Kurt an excuse to lean closer to Scott. His shoulder touches Scott's, and the older teen doesn't look over but he does smile a little. He doesn't move away.
Kurt doesn't move away either. He tries to focus on the movie, but he's not even sure what they're watching and his heart is beating a little faster, his shoulder is a little warmer, his thoughts are a little more scattered. He smiles and doesn't look over at Scott.
When Kurt does move away, Scott moves with him. Kurt was just going to get some more sodas from the kitchen, but Scott follows to help carrying and Kurt likes being alone with Scott, so popcorn seems like a good excuse for more time for that. Kurt's giddiness has built up during the movie and he's not really sure what to do with himself. He talks and jokes and laughs as the popcorn are popping, and he can't help touching Scott's arm occasionally.
Scott smiles a lot. Everything is really Scott's fault, Kurt thinks, and leans over and kisses that smile. He barely even gets the time to be nervous about it before Scott kisses him back.
