Minato was currently at his "house" which was a pile of rubble, beside a tent to sleep in. As the Hokage, he did have a place to stay in emergencies but saw it fit for 2 old couples better when he saw their situation. He had just come back when he saw 9 angry lumps of hair floating in the air dangerously with another mop of it, crying. He was curious as to where his Miniature version was but Kushina said he was currently in the basement which she and the boy and found after removing the rubble around it and was trying to seal what he could since she couldn't fit in the entrance
"If you really wanna make up then use the damn Hiraishin and Shadow clones to clean this rubble up! We have to find whatever food and clothes we can!"
"But I already have soldier pills for us in one of my emergency sheds, and canned food for Naruto! Little Akami has you?" More of a question than statement was the last one but it helped his wife cool down and for that, Minato was glad. He did comply with his wife however and used Hiraishin with Shadow clones to make more room for Naruto when he comes up from the basement, good thing they had taught him basic sealing Jutsu at least, not that he wasn't ready for advanced stuff but Kushina still wanted to keep his innocence and raise him properly
"Naruto dear, how long were you in there? Come up already!"
"Yeah Kaa-chan, I'm doing something *huff*"
"Hmm... Ok" Kushina, who suddenly turned soft when it came to her children, replied worryingly while she glared at Minato and kept Akami in her arms to keep her quiet.
Minato was terrified 'Is Naruto going to show Kushina that I taught him Shadow clones? Oh god, I hope not' thought an exasperated Blonde. Just as he was thinking that, papers started coming out of the basement entrance, when a confused Minato went and saw the papers, he found out they were sealing scrolls and realized that Naruto must have thrown them out
Naturally, right after that Naruto popped up and look at his dad with a grin and whispered "Don't worry, Kaa-chan isn't gonna know about me knowing Shadow clone Jutsu" and Minato sighed while remembering when he thought of teaching his son the clone Jutsu but due to his massive Uzumaki reserves he wasn't able to perform it but now it would be impossible since... The Kyuubi was sealed in him... Oh right
Coming out of those depressing thoughts, Minato asked his son "What was remaining in it anyway? You didn't read anything did you?" Knowing his son's curiosity would have gotten the better of him sometimes, he responded with scratching on his neck with a sheepish look "I may have looked at a C-ranked Genjutsu... Or not!"
With a sigh, Minato replied "I swear I thought you did the latter by the way you make it sound, what was a Genjutsu scroll doing there anyway? It's not like any of us are specialists"
"I kept it in case one of us decides to become one", Minato turned to look at a flow of gorgeous red hair belonging to his wife, he would never get used to its silkiness, although it was a little annoying in some occasions but she didn't need to know that.
He just smiled and nodded then went back to work, Naruto surprisingly helped out too with Kushina and the 10 took turns in taking care of Akashi with 8 of them being Minato and his clones, the parents did notice Akashi seemed to be at her best with her Nii-chan but Kushina wouldn't admit it, it was too much for her pride as a mother. They cleared their house in a day and got what they could out unscraped, they did have to improvise with a few scratches but they could manage, the only thing they would have to figure out was a bathroom, toilet and brushes
Time-skip to when the Academy gets repaired and Naruto starts attending
It was hell
It was so boring Naruto almost fell asleep. Who the hell would ask you about how the village was founded in a real fight? It's not like they didn't have to know this at all! Even if that was the truth, he already knew it from the long and boring 30-minute lectures his dad gave him before training so naturally he almost forgot all of it

It all came back to him now and he was gonna have to learn it again, he looked bored as hell and decided to make a shadow clone from next time for his classes but he was going to change his mind depending on how the afternoon classes were gonna happen, if they were fun then he would probably switch with his clone during lunch but he was definitely NOT attending theory, even if the Earth and Heavens switched places. Thankfully, with these thoughts the first history lessons ended, after breakfast would be shuriken and Kunai training and for that, he was excited.
All the students started pouring out of the classroom, he just sighed as he walked to the door when he spotted Itachi being surrounded by boys, all of them fawning over her and her looking uncomfortable, he knew she wouldn't have a problem with them but why wouldn't she just say so? He looked at her for a few more minutes then sighed before making his way to the group and informed "She is uncomfortable with you around so please leave"
That was a mistake since like 5 of the boys turned and glared at him, he sighed and said "She's just too nice to let you know that she doesn't give a shit about you and to get out of her face" which was met by shocked and angered faces, a 'healthy' boy with a red jacket above full black shirt shouted at the beloved blonde "Get out of here freshman! You don't even look 5!". Ok now, he was gonna die, nobody and I mean NOBODY insulted Naruto's age or height, not even Itachi! He gained a tick mark and jumped to kick the boy in the face followed by his voice "I'm not as gentle as her ok? I'm gonna flipping kick your ass if you bother her again!" and watched as the boys, instead of running away just ran at him. Oh boy, he had some ass-kicking to do.
"Why did you hurt them? I could have just said them to leave"
"Well cause you're too nice to let them know that and I'm too much of an idiot, so you're gonna have to look after me while I look after you"
"So, I'm not weak? Just too nice?"
With a scoff, Naruto said "Whoever says you are weak is an idiot... except me of course... but I'm already an idiot... Gah whatever! Just focus on the first part"
They were currently eating their bentos since this was lunch break and they had finished with Kunai/Shuriken training, needless to say, Itachi had 10/10 and Naruto had 9/10. Now they had their first spars in the year and last one because their sensei was going to do this to "Let them know what position they were in". Naruto was excited as hell and Itachi... well she was Itachi, stoic and un-reacting. They decided to eat it on the roof because it was quiet and peaceful which Itachi liked
"Itachi Uchiha and Saisu Yoga are sparring first, please come in the ring"
Saisu said with a smug look "Itachi-chan, I'm sorry but I can't hold back this time" with the said girl cringing about her nickname, she never like people calling her with -chan, it just sounded weird but nonetheless, she was going to win this fight unless he had some Genin-bordering-Chunin level skill, the teacher swiped his hand in the air, signaling the match to begin, Saisu ran at Itachi with his full speed, which wasn't very much, it couldn't even faze a Genin but what do you expect of a fresh academy student anyway? Itachi sighed and just flipped Saisu so that he was laying on his back in rather slow speed but to Saisu, it was in a blink, all of the students gasped with the Chunin conductor just sighing, he wasn't getting paid enough for this, he silently put Itachi on the top of the list and Saisu somewhere at the bottom, he could safely say that all of the kids here except clan heads were of the same level, now to see if the Yondaime gave his kid any special training or not if he could even complete his paperwork stack, the one he saw each time he visited the Sandaime to report on the progress of the kids
Just as he was thinking this, all of the kids screamed in delight "Hokage-sama!" and the Chunin almost snapped his neck from the speed that he looked behind, to his horror and delight, it really was the blonde Hokage, smiling as sweetly as ever, who said "I completed my work at the office so I was strolling around to see how the new generation were doing, I'm sorry but I did spy a bit on you all" the Chunin just nodded dumbly before taking in what the Hokage said, and scrambled for a chair which was conveniently just under him, by that I mean he was sitting on it, begrudgingly he said "Please Hokage-sama, sit here, there's no need for you to be standing and I was just about to start the new match to assess their levels" and the Yellow Flash just nodded when he said "Please continue, I will just spectate here"
"Naruto Namikaze and Tenma Izumo, come in the ring and take your stances after the sign of sparring" the Chunin said with the 2 following his orders, Naruto took his father's Taijutsu stance which he taught him without Kushina knowing after Naruto gave him his secret weapon... those damn puppy eyes, and waited for the Chunin to begin his exam, he did just that and Izumo rushed at Naruto with normal speed, his father being the speedster he is, of course Naruto made sure to follow in his paths besides, the fastest ninja won, not the bulkiest
Naruto sidestepped Izumo and with his hand at his neck in a Kunai manner, he won. The Chunin called the match "Naruto Namikaze wins!", the said boy looked at the Hokage and his father to see him smiling kindly, the Hokage said "Izumo, try and increase your speed and endurance. Naruto, you did good" and both the kids nodded excitedly with Izumo totally forgetting about his humiliating defeat
The days after that, everything went normally... If you can say Naruto training his speed while a shadow clone attended morning class and he switched after lunch break normal, till one day when that boy that he beat came over to him, or rather his shadow clone and informed with a smirk "Hey kid, you dare show me shame that day?! Let's see if you can fight the Great Ashi-sama! And his gang" and on cue, the boys surrounding 'Ashi' charged at Naruto-clone who just dodge everyone, knowing if he got a good hit then he would dispel and he won't disappoint the OG for whatever reason, he jumped back and tried to dodge another punch but was about to get hit, when Itachi suddenly came and parried the punch, the boy punching was obviously confused as to why the school princess would defend this little shit
The 2 started to fight back but for some reason, Itachi just didn't punch very good today, maybe it was her kindness but who knows? Just when Naruto punched a guy on his shin that another one came and pushed him at Itachi, he widened his eyes before he felt himself dispel and for a strange reason, Itachi emit smoke?
The original Naruto who was running around Konoha without his weights, which he got when he started the academy from his dad, felt the memories rush at him and tch'd before jumping down to go to the academy, just when he reached there did, he see Itachi jumping in the academy walls... But wasn't she fighting the bullies with him? Not that the bullies wanted to fight her, she just forced them to be honest, he just rushed at her side and saw a sensei staring at them with an indescribable look, he got nervous but it turned to confusion when the teacher smiled, he was about to ask what was up when he was interrupted by none other than the Chunin Sensei "Do you both know Narikawari no Jutsu (Substantiation Jutsu) and Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu)?"
The 2 just nodded dumbly before realizing that they had just revealed that they knew Jutsu which shouldn't be known to mere Academy students nonetheless Freshmen! But the teach just laughed "Don't worry, it's not a bad thing, you're free to go now". The duo bowed before making their way back to class, Naruto struck up a conversation
"I didn't know you knew the shadow clone Jutsu"
"Well I didn't know You could do the Shadow clone Jutsu, my father taught it to me"
"Hmm, same here, strange that he gets time with all the work"
"They don't call your father the Yellow Flash for just name Naruto"
"Yeah yeah... But my mom will kill me and my dad if she knows that I can do the Kage bunshin no Jutsu, Narikawari and Henge which dad taught me!"
"Well my mom will just kill my dad, I'm in the safe to be honest but still, it'll be sad if I find dad with bruises all of his face and body"
"Say say, can I tell my mom that you taught me the Justus? She likes you too much to kill you"
"Doesn't she like you then? But yeah sure. What about my father?"
"What about your dad?"
"... You're dumb Naruto, I was asking if I can tell my mom that you taught me the Justus or not"
"Sure, you can!"
They both nodded and reached class quietly to listen (not really) to their (boring) lectures
