This first mission was stupid. At least for Skull it was. She was stuck as the getaway driver, and had to wait for everyone to be in the car before driving off. So as the sounds of gunfire got louder, Skull sat counting how many birds flew into and out of the tree to the left of the back door slammed open and bodies piled in, Skull watched from the rearview mirror as everyone piled in. As soon as Verde unceremoniously flopped onto the floor her foot slamed on the gas pedal and they were off. Immediately two cars were on their tail. Skull wasn't worried, it was like a street race, she'd been in plenty of those, this time the stakes were just elevated to life or death.
As she tore down the street she made a few tight turns to shake the chasers off. One car crashed into the side of a brick building while the other managed to stay on her tail.
"Keep the car steady a minute!" Renato declared. She did her best, only swerving once to avoid a biker. She glanced in the mirror and saw Renato leaning out the side window aiming at the vehicle behind them. She focused back on the road in time to see another car pull out in front of her. Out the driver side window a man pointed a gun at her. She widened her eyes a moment before he pulled the trigger and pain errupted from her shoulder. Blood splattered the seat and her face as she gave a cry of pain, the car swerving a moment before she righted it. She applied more pressure to the gas and sped up, pulling beside the car. Lal fired at the gunman, nailing him between the brows as they sped past the car.
They were headed towards a bridge that was slowly raising for a boat to get through. Skull got an idea. She pushed the gas all the way down and yelled out "Everybody hold onto something!"
Lal and Renato pulled themselves into the car and looked at what Skull was doing, only to join everyone in a yell of terror as the car started climbing the ramped bridge. As the car sailed over the gap and hit the other side Skull let out a whoop of excitement. She sped off back to headquarters with a backseat full of terrified hitmen.

"What the fuck was that!?" yelled an irate Renato. He was pointing his gun at Skull who was calmly stepping out of the car.
"What was what?" Skull was perplexed.
"We could have died! If you hadn't been so lucky we-!"
"That wasn't luck. I do stuff like that all the time."
Everyone stared at Skull dumbfounded.
"...What."
"I'm a stunt artist. This was nothing compared to most of my stunts. The Great Skull-sama has even jumped the Grand Canyon!" She added in a bit of her Skull voice. "Though being shot is new."
"Lackey..." Renato said with a growl. Oh great, the stupid nickname stuck.
"It's fine! My flames will be done healing it in another ten seconds!"
It was Verdes turn to look stunned. "What?"
"I'm called The Immortal Stuntman for a reason."
"You mean you were serious about that?" Lal asked.
"Why would I lie about that?" and she felt the guilt settle in her stomach, because she was lying to then. But it was gone a moment later when she remembered why she was lying. It was all to keep Cherep safe.
