1994 Hogwarts Accreditation Report

I am here, as a representative of the Department of Education, to perform an accreditation survey on Hogwarts. Traditionally, schools in Britain are accredited every five years, but, as you well know, the Thatcher years were lean times for our department, so this will be our Department's first visit to Hogwarts since 1975.

1. Chapter 1: Statement of Summary

Dear Professor Albus Wulfric Percival Brian Dumbledore,

I am happy to inform you that I have completed the accreditation report for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The findings are included in this parcel.

Throughout the following 652 pages, you will find: records of our interviews, copies of my classroom observations, our accounting team's analysis of the school's financial viability, and a student climate report conducted by an independent third-party. This report will end with a record of our commendations of and recommendations for Hogwarts School.

Please know that these findings have been filed with both the Ministry of Magic and the Department of Education within the Muggle bureaucratic apparatus.
