UA allowed 1 week of summer break for hero students. All of the students had been told to stay home and spend time with their families. It was the new safety measure thanks to the USJ incident. Vacations were NOT allowed without explicit permission from UA's staff. Aizawa had given the students extra summer homework to ensure they stayed home and prepared for the summer training camp. It was pretty easy stuff and mostly busy work. UA didn't actually use any methods of monitoring students to ensure they didn't vacation because they assumed that hero students would follow the rules? Who would break the rules after all?

Toru would. All for One had given orders to spend the week with Shigaraki, both to monitor and get a clear picture of the allies he had gathered while she had been gone, and also to get Shigaraki's plan for the summer training camp out of him.

She was lucky UA wasn't planning to send any teachers to student's houses to make sure they were still there. As long as there weren't any sightings of Toru in other cities, they'd be none the wiser. And she wasn't planning on anyone actually seeing her.

She rode the train to Kamino, very ready to be out of hero schooling for a week.

There was a slight sound of a door creaking open. Kurogiri looked up from the glass he was cleaning. The sound hadn't been that loud, barely audible, but as the person in charge of the bar, it was his job to be alert and notice these things.

Shigaraki hadn't noticed. His focus had not been shifted away from the card tower he was stacking.

It was 4 am. Nobody else was in the bar at such early morning hours. Shigaraki was only there because he had been having trouble sleeping. He wasn't sure Kurogiri did sleep- he was just always there. Perhaps he did sleep, just nobody had ever seen him.

Noticing that there was no visible person who had entered the bar, Kurogiri immediately realized Toru must be there. All for One had given Shigaraki and him warning that she would be paying them a visit.

Kurogiri tapped the counter with his hand in a repetitive pattern, a secret code to make sure Toru really had entered the bar, and not someone else. There was a tapping sound in response, the code to the pattern.

Kurogiri's eyes smiled, and he gestured his arm to the shelves filled with glasses. Although they were currently alone, with so many new recruits, they couldn't be too careful. They couldn't have conversations in the normal bar area with Toru. It would be safer to acknowledge her presence in the secret back room. It was more soundproof than the rest of the bar and thus would be safer to talk in.

Shigaraki still hadn't noticed anything.

Kurogiri pressed a button under the countertop and the shelves of glasses moved aside to reveal a door.

That, Shigaraki noticed. His eyes widened.

"Come on. We have a visitor." Kurogiri told him.

Shigaraki groaned as his card tower fell to pieces from being interrupted. "Fine…"

He followed Kurogiri into the back room.

As Kurogiri led them deeper under the bar so they could all converse, he couldn't help finding himself thinking.

It's UA's summer vacation. That's why Toru's able to spare time to visit us again…UA's summer vacation lasted like a week…4 weeks for non-hero course students he remembered reading.

Normal girl's must spend their vacations doing sleepovers or spending time with friends, I assume. He couldn't really imagine Toru doing any of those things though. Perhaps it was because Toru insisted, she wasn't a person, and a tool instead. He just couldn't imagine her doing normal girl things. Even thinking about her fake persona in the hero school didn't feel particularly real.

She was born human though. It should be okay for her do to do those activities. Kurogiri reminded himself. Unlike him, Toru was human, although he had to constantly remind himself of that fact. She was a living breathing creature. A child. She had been made to become like this. Just like Shigaraki.

Remembering how Shigaraki had once been a child very different than he currently was made, Kurogiri feel a pang of sympathy. Sometimes thinking about Shigaraki was the only way he could feel like he was having real emotions. It was part of his orders, he assumed. He was made to be Shigaraki's caretaker after all.

What an unfortunate life those two have…Kurogiri found himself thinking. All three of them were just following orders which he couldn't admit was unfortunate, but made him feel a bit bad when he reminded himself Shigaraki and Toru were essentially children (one in behavior and one in age).

In the back room there was a lot of storage, for both drinks, food, and equipment the league needed to hide from prying eyes. Running a bar did run the risk of a normal person walking in after all.

There were several large sofas for rest in case they needed to do business deals. None of the League was currently spending time there. Only one of their new recruits had been introduced to the secret back room so far, and it was only because Giran had brought him there to do his league interview. Luckily, he wasn't there currently.

Kurogiri tosses a blanket to one of the couches. Toru quickly covered herself in it, draping the blanket over her head so her form was a little more noticeable.

Kurogiri sat down with Shigaraki.

"Did you have to come so early?" Shigaraki yawned. "I could have used my sleep."

"From what it looked like, you weren't missing any." Toru responded referencing that he had been there when she walked in.

"Hey!" Shigaraki hissed.

Kurogiri sighed, hoping he wouldn't have to break up a fight.

"And coming early makes me less likely to run into all your new recruits." Toru explained. "How many recruits have you gained?"

Shigaraki groaned. "They're not true recruits. Most of them came cuz of that darn Stain video circulating…" He cracked his knuckles.

"You are aware, All for One was the one who started circulating that for your benefit, correct?" Kurogiri reminded.

Shigaraki huffed and crossed his arms.

"We have 9 new members. Although some of those members wouldn't technically be labeled 'new'." Kurogiri admitted.

The blanket bobbed up and down like it was nodding. "I've been ordered by Master to observe them. Explain who they are to me and their quirks so I can create a proper report for him." Toru ordered. "After that, explain your plans about the Summer Camp Raid so I can properly aid you as ordered."

Shigaraki groaned. "Straight into business with you, of course. No pleasantries or anything." He mocked. He held one of the hands on his body and made it into the gabbing action as if to further mock Toru.

Neither of them could see if Toru glared back. "Of course. It is my orders after all."

Shigaraki groaned.

Not much child-like about her…Kurogiri sighed, it really was hard to keep in mind that Toru was a child.

"You're lucky I'm extra motivated after my talk with Midoriya. I finally know what's so rotten about society." Shigaraki bragged. "It's All Might!"

The blanket looked like it was crossing its arms. "You always knew it was All Might though. That's nothing new."

"Hey!" Shigaraki pointed an angry finger at being mocked about his new realization.

Kurogiri had to come in quick before there was an actual fight and Shigaraki decayed their spy. "I'll tell you about the new recruits, Toru." He offered, changing the subject.

Shigaraki leaned back, huffing again.

If we were all normal would this kind of be like raising two children and trying to separate them as they constantly got on each other's nerves? Kurogiri almost chuckled. Sibling squabbles had way less danger of someone decaying the other and at the end there was some hope of understanding at the end. It was likely Toru and Shigaraki would never be on the same page though, because Toru was so rigid and the only thing available in her head were the orders from her Master, and Shigaraki was incredibly petty.

Kurogiri sighed and removed pictures from his suit that he was holding onto, of all their new recruits so he could use them as examples.

The blanket leaned over to go look at them.

"We plan to use all of these new recruits in the Summer Raid. Well, Shigaraki Tomura does, I mean." Kurogiri explained.

The pictures were now floating as Toru flipped through them.

"I know you're glaring at me, Toru! Even if I can't see you." Shigaraki hissed, continuing to stew. "I bet you don't think I have a plan, or can raid your precious hero school, don't you?"

I'll never have ended these squabbles, will I? Kurogiri sighed. Shigaraki had become even angrier at Toru ever since she had joined UA.

"I never thought that. And I'm not glaring." Toru corrected. "If Master says you can do it and wants you to come up with the plan all yourself, then you can. It's my job to aid you, so I would never glare."

Shigaraki squirmed in his seat, always even more annoyed when Toru didn't fight back. He grumbled for a minute.

"This new recruit is Moonfish from-" Kurogiri began explaining.

"I do have a plan, you know, for one, Kurogiri and I won't be raiding the summer camp since the heroes are on big alert for us. I'm going to send in my minions to capture the princess instead." Shigaraki explained.

"Bakugo is a princess now?" That made Toru sound slightly confused.

Shigaraki groaned. "Video game term. Ugh. Neither of you get it, do you?"

Kurogiri shook his head too.

"You two need to learn more about video games." Shigaraki muttered.

"I don't see how playing video games would help me in the league—" Toru said curtly.

Kurogiri's eyes widened. "Why, it might provide you an extra hobby for your disguise as a normal student." Maybe he could start fixing this squabble through helping them find common ground.

"Hm…I'll take it into consideration." Toru decided.

Kurogiri celebrated a victory inwardly. Toru barely listened to them. And if she starts gaming perhaps Shigaraki will pick on her less and then the two won't be fighting as much when I'm around-

Shigaraki paused for a second at that. "R-really?"

"Continue, please. You were talking about how you were going to send new recruits into the camp to capture Bakugo." Toru ignored him and pointed to the pictures now sitting on the table between them.

Shigaraki frowned but continued. "Kurogiri will only be used to teleport my minions in and out of the camp. You'll provide us the location, as you've already been ordered."

The blanket nodded.

"We're using the new recruits because they're expandable. If they get captured, no big deal, they don't know the full extent of our plans anyway. They shouldn't spill anything to the police." Shigaraki explained. "I've named them the Vanguard Action Squad."

"Smart. Well, except the name." Toru responded.

Shigaraki glared again. "It's cool!"

Toru didn't argue further.

"I'm giving them a hit list too, so they know what bosses to take out—"

"Bosses?" Toru asked.

"VIDEO GAME TERM!" Shigaraki reminded. He actually managed to calm down, perhaps because he was now trying to teach Toru the terminology so she could game. "Like that Midoriya kid, he would be a boss, because he's strong. I don't like him, so I'll be ordering the Vanguard Action Squad to kill him."

"All for One has informed us that you should be on the hit list as well." Kurogiri added. "So that you're not conscious for the attack so that none of the heroes can be suspicious of you. We're…uhh working on a way to ensure that you are maimed to the point of unconsciousness but not killed."

Shigaraki started chewing on his nails. "Yeah…Uhh…So we've employed a few murderers in the vanguard action squad—"

"So, it will be up to me to keep my life intact." Toru inferred.

"No. That…Would be a little tricky considering we do want you maimed. Which is why I was thinking, and I know you won't like this, but Master has given all control over this plan, letting maybe…one or two people in the vanguard action squad in on your identity. You know, to uhh…" Shigaraki sucked in a breath really relishing saying this, "protect you." He said in barely a whisper. "So, they can ensure the others don't outright kill you and only knock you out!"

Kurogiri nodded. Tomura wracked his brain over how to solve this problem. Although Tomura was given full control over the entirety of this plan, he knew All for One wouldn't approve over us losing his important spy. With the requirements ahead of him, Shigaraki had come up with the best solution he could. The hard part for him was admitting that he needed Toru protected and not killed. That had taken him a day to get over before he could start planning.

"I'm not in favor of that." Toru actually expressed an opinion. "What if the vanguard gets captured and spills about my identity to the police?" She asked. "And how will you know the new recruit you're telling is trustworthy?"

Both of them were surprised by the criticism. Toru must have deflated because the blanket's head turned to Kurogiri.

"I'm not a planner though. I am a tool…And if Master has given you permission for this, I'll leave it up to you…" Toru relented.

Maybe that was the cue to let Kurogiri continue explaining who the new recruits were, so Toru could see her option and warm up to the idea of letting someone else into her secret.

"Okay…So first up we have Moonfish. He was a death row inmate that All for One recently freed. His quirk is that he can lengthen, sharpen and manipulate his teeth into powerful bladed weapons." Kurogiri gestured to the picture of a man in a straight jacket with only his mouth exposed.

"Don't know where he is right now. I think Master's keeping him in the Nomu lab until I need him." Shigaraki admitted. He glared at Toru. "Yeah, we do SOME investigation without you. We aren't completely reliant on you. We have plenty of information about our vanguard even without your help."

No response.

Kurogiri continued. "Dabi and Toga are our most recent recruits." He gestured to the picture of a dark haired very burned man with his skin stitched together, and a happy looking high schooler.

"Stain super fans. Both of them." Shigaraki commented. "It's disgusting."

"So, I'm guessing those two aren't the ones you trust with my identity?" Toru commented.

Kurogiri's eyes frowned. He just kept getting interrupted! "Himiko Toga's quirk is that she can transform to look like whoever she ingests the blood of. She's on the run for two murders. She's…How should I put it kindly…"

"Extremely annoying. She acts like a disgustingly affectionate schoolgirl but obsessed with blood." Shigaraki explained.

"I would say less of a typical schoolgirl and more of a…creepy version of a friendly schoolgirl. I don't think she's anything like what you pretend to be, although she is very cheerful." Kurogiri explained.

"Despite her personality her quirk sounds useful. The league could always benefit from another spy." Toru commented.

Shigaraki begrudgingly nodded. "Master agrees…He said if need be, she could give the heroes a false reason for us getting so much information. Because she seems useful, I'm going to give her a mission that doesn't have to do with Bakugo's capture. I'm going to ask her to gather blood from at least three students. Hopefully she makes it through the raid, but she's pretty good at escape so I'm less worried about her."

"She sounds useful, but her personality doesn't sound extremely trustworthy." Toru agreed with Shigaraki's assessment.

Kurogiri continued. "Dabi, as he told us to call him, on the other hand, we don't know much about. Toga will cheerfully talk about her past, but Dabi we really only know that he's a fan of Stain and that he's burned 30 people to a crisp. He seems observant and smart but…" Kurogiri didn't finish that thought. "He has a very powerful flame quirk."

"I don't trust him, but it can't be denied that he's strong." Shigaraki was biting at his nails again. "Spy on him if you can."

"Understood." Toru nodded.

"He's so strong in fact that he's main character potential. So, I'm planning to loan him a Nomu during the raid. Fact is, he's likely going to return from this, so we might as well load him up with magic items." It was back to video game terms.

Toru sighed, no longer asking for them to be defined.

"So even though both him and Toga are strong and are likely to return, they're not who you want to share my identity with?" Toru asked.

"No way! Stain fans can not be trusted!" Shigaraki waved his hand. "They're not here for the long-haul."

"Speaking of Stain fans—" Kurogiri tried to keep them on track and pointed to a lizard dressed in Stain cosplay. "Spinner is another Stain fan that we picked up. His quirk is that he can stick to walls. His power doesn't come from his quirk though, but instead his sword skills and combat."

"He's the Berserker class. Strong but not all that smart—" Shigaraki cut Kurogiri off again.

Kurogiri groaned. "Shigaraki Tomura…" He tried to politely say, "Not everyone here knows fantasy terms, might I remind you again."

"Oh! That's another bonus about Spinner. HE'D get my references. He might be a nerdy Stain super fan but at least he games." Shigaraki stated proudly.

"…. Is that the person you trust with my identity? …Because he plays video games?" Toru now sounded worried.

Shigaraki frowned. "No. I've already told you I don't trust Stain super fans."

Kurogiri sighed and pointed to a picture of a woman in sunglasses.

"This one's preferred name is Magne. She joined us around the time the rest of the Stain fans did, but we're unsure if it was because she was a Stain fan. She's had several counts of murder, assault and robbery. Her quirk is Magnetism. She can apply a magnetic field to people around her and send them away or towards each other."

"Do you know anything about her or is her background as much of a mystery as Dabi's?" Toru asked.

"She's more open than Dabi." Kurogiri admitted, "She was happy to answer any questions Shigaraki and I asked of her. She started doing crimes because she was in need of money, and she says she enjoys the lifestyle now."

"She doesn't like hero society. Says they turn their back on trans individuals unless they're pro heroes." Shigaraki added.

That was a very clear-cut reason for her villainy. Didn't seem likely to be a lie either. Not the most loyal sounding towards the league if she was just following the money though, but not someone to be as wary of like the Stain super fans.

"Is it her-?" Toru asked

"No. Stop guessing. I'll tell you who I want you to meet when we get to them." Shigaraki said harshly.

The next vanguard member was explained. A picture of a very muscular man missing an eyeball was brought to Toru's attention. "Goto Imasuji, Codename: Muscular—"

"I've seen him on the news. He's the perpetrator of a murder of the two Pro heroes Water Hose, right?" Toru asked.

Kurogiri did his best to nod. It was hard when someone's head was smoke. "He's one of the mass murderers that we're worried about you encountering. When he finds his prey…He doesn't let them live. So, it would be best for you to try to avoid him and Moonfish."

"Where did we get him?" Toru asked.

"Master." Shigaraki replied. That shut Toru up. "He and Moonfish, Master supplied to me. I don't think they're absolutely loyal to Master though. I think they just like killing and so they fit with our needs right now. They're useful, but they're essentially just hired muscle and don't offer much smarts."

The blanket tilted upward like Toru was thinking. Perhaps trying to recall if All for One had ever mentioned him. She was as much in the dark as Shigaraki to all of All for One's connections and plans though.

"He has a muscle enhancement quirk if I recall." Toru finally responded. "From the news. I'll try to bring up more reports about him online if I need to—"

"No need." Shigaraki raised his hand, "The ones Master gave us don't need your observation."

Toru nodded.

"I'm planning to send Muscular to the outskirts of the training camp to clean up any stragglers who try to flee. Make sure you stay to the middle, so you don't risk encountering him." Shigaraki ordered.

"Got it." Toru agreed and waited for Kurogiri to show her the next few vanguard members.

The next picture was that of a middle school boy in a gas mask.

"Mustard is a middle schooler-" Kurogiri started speaking. He paused for a moment waiting for someone to interrupt him and complain about the league employing someone so young.

No one interrupted.

Oh yes. Tomura and Toru were picked up by the league at a young age too. He remembered.

"He's smart and tends to want to do things on his own, with his own plans. His quirk is Gas which allows him to control a typhoon of poisonous sleeping gas. He however is not immune to his own gas, so he wears a mask." Kurogiri explained.

"Was he supplied by Master as well?" Toru asked.

"No. He failed an entrance exam and that made him so mad that he sought out the League of Villains to join. He knew from the news that we had attacked UA and he wanted in. He claims he hates UA for their entitlement. It seems clear jealousy is what really fuels him." Kurogiri explained.

"A grade A psychopath. He's extremely violent and enjoys people's suffering. If he didn't join us, I'm sure he'd end up being some sort of serial killer later on." Shigaraki had his own opinions about him.

You're not really the sort of person who should comment on people like that. You destroy things you just don't like. Mustard and Shigaraki were similar in some regard, Kurogiri believed. Unfortunately, Mustard didn't have a caretaker like him to look after him so he couldn't be bothered to defend the child.

"He sounds a bit immature if his reasoning for becoming a villain was that he failed a test." Toru commented, sounding distrustful.

Shigaraki nodded. "Don't think he'll last that long, but he's easy enough to manipulate because he's just a young brat."

The next picture was looked at. It was a man in a grey and black body suit from head to toe.

"Jin Bubaigawara, Codename: Twice. His quirk is that he can make two of anyone, although the copy will be a little weaker than the original. It's a very useful and powerful quirk—" Kurogiri tried explaining.

"This guy!" Shigaraki pointed. "He's the one I think we should let in on your identity."

Toru looked at him closer.

"His quirk is ultra-powerful, like Super move level. It's something that we're absolutely going to be using in the future, so we'll be wanting him to hide more in the shadows during the raid. We absolutely need him to get out of there intact." Shigaraki explained.

"I can see how making duplicates of ourselves would be useful, but can you trust him? Someone that powerful must have quite the uhh personality—" Toru's voice made it clear that he probably was rather entitled.

"He's not egotistical." Shigaraki defended. "In fact, perhaps it would be easier if he was."

"What do you mean by that?" Toru asked.

"Toru, in your classroom have you met anyone who's way too friendly, trusting and treats the class like their family, despite not really knowing them?" Kurogiri asked.

"Yeah. That's my role in the class." Toru clarified. "So that sort of description doesn't really make me trust him."

"He's the sort of guy that cares a lot about proving himself to his friends. He'd do anything for the league." Shigaraki tried to explain.

"Sounds like a hero." Toru gagged.

"No, that's the thing. He isn't." Kurogiri defended Twice's character too. "Giran brought him to us about three weeks ago. He had a bag over his head when we met him—"

"E-excuse me?" Toru asked.

"Twice has been abandoned by hero society, just like the rest of us. He has more than enough reason to hate heroes." Shigaraki tried explaining. "He's mentally ill. Like completely bonkers. He has to be wearing something to cover his face or else he'll start dissociating, or hallucinating? I don't know. He thinks he's multiple people and starts talking to himself with widely different opinions. That makes all of society kind of disgusted by him. Heroes don't want to help him. So, he has more than enough motive to be a part of the league. And it's got nothing to do with Stain."

"Apparently he tried duplicating himself a few years prior to now." Kurogiri explained to Toru. "He committed several robberies but was never caught. Eventually though the duplicates started fighting and killing one another. Now he doesn't know if he is a duplicate which causes his distress."

"Hmm…It sounds like he's not a spy or anything by the hero commission." Toru agreed.

"Paranoid. The Hero Safety Commission's never going to send a spy to us." Shigaraki mocked. "Master's the only one who would consider making spies. It's too not goody-too shoes enough for Heroes."

Toru cleared her throat. "But can he really be trusted with my identity, even with all that? I'm a big secret. In the league…I've really only been given permission to speak to you, Kurogiri and Master. You're the only one's who know about me, because if someone were to leak my identity it would ruin my use. Can you really trust Twice with such a big secret?"

Shigaraki and Kurogiri looked at each other. Kurogiri looked away. This wasn't his decision.

Toru's right about her secret being a big one though. Maybe if she was allowed to speak to more of the league it would help her-, No is it really right to risk All for One's plans for that? Kurogiri thought.

"Yeah. We can trust him, I think." Shigaraki admitted. "We've been testing his ability to keep a secret. First time we met was in this secret back room and we've told him not to tell the rest of the League about it. He's been keeping the secret really well since he just wants to prove himself."

"He does seem useful." Toru relented.

She saw that there was one picture left of the vanguard action squad. It was some guy in a trench coat, mask and top hat. It was quite an eccentric outfit.

"I would've thought you'd end on the ones you wanted to introduce me to." Toru commented, looking at the picture. "Who's this one?"

"We…uhh….don't really know much about that one. Like I know more about him than Dabi, but I'm still not sure how to process what I know." Shigaraki admitted.

"We weren't sure how to explain him, so we left him for last." Kurogiri admitted.

"…Okay…" Toru wasn't sure how to take that.

"So, I'm just going to come right out and say it. This dude's a stage magician. Don't know how he found us. He just showed up one day. A little before the Stain video got posted too. Just one day a stage magician showed up. How the heck is that possible?" Shigaraki seemed both confused and annoyed.

"His name is Mr. Compress. His quirk is also useful. He can compress anything into a marble that he can carry around. Shigaraki Tomura plans to use his quirk in the actual capture of Bakugo. Meaning if we want the raid to be a success, he'll make it back from it." Kurogiri explained.

"He's no sacrifice. He's in the League for the long haul, like Twice, Dabi and Toga." Shigaraki admitted. "I just can't get over how he's a stage magician!"

"His magician skills make the marbles hard to steal back. He needs to touch someone to compress them, but there's no defense to stop the compression." Kurogiri added. "He's calm, composed, and easy to communicate with. If he proves trustworthy, he's a valuable ally."

"Yeah, but only if he does prove himself." Shigaraki agreed. "But your guess is as good as mine. He could just be here for the drama. Why did a freakin stage magician join us?"

"Villains can be stage magicians. Villains can have any occupation they wish. I'm a bartender after all." Kurogiri pointed out.

Shigaraki huffed. "Yeah…but…It's just weird!" He couldn't get over it.

"I suppose I have a lot of work ahead of me." Toru spoke up. "To check out these vanguard action members and observe if they are actually all who they claim they are. I also need to compile a character description of each of them for Master. Do you have addresses for the ones you want me to observe, or do I need to follow them home?"

"I have addresses for all except Dabi and Compress." Kurogiri admitted. "Toga lives in the apartments nearby, and I know where all of the rest of them are because I teleport them home after meetings."

"You only really need to stalk Dabi, Compress, and Twice. We have records on the rest of their history. Toga's got pretty easy to find criminal records, along with Magne. Mustard's house Kurogiri has seen. He's an actual middle schooler and with his brattidude he probably won't last long here. Spinner I can gather information on." Shigaraki offered. "And you of course don't need to stalk the ones Master supplied us."

"Playing video games with someone isn't a reliable way to gather information." Kurogiri sighed. There was no scolding Shigaraki though. "Better add Spinner into the list." He told Toru. "But really the only ones we don't trust completely are Dabi and Compress. We only want you to observe Twice so you can approve of you two meeting."

"…Acknowledged." Toru replied.

"How much time do you have to do this?" Kurogiri asked.

"1 week." Toru replied. "Oh, that reminds me. UA's staff has asked us not to travel during summer break. You know because they're oh so worried about our safety from the big bad villains attacking in USJ." Toru was quite a bit mocking.

Shigaraki snickered.

"I don't think they'll stop by our houses to make sure we're still there, but just in case could you install some security cameras at my house and keep up with them, Kurogiri?" Toru asked.

"Of course. I can teleport you back home nightly too if you need to." Kurogiri offered.

"No need. I don't plan on sleeping much. I have to do the mission I've been assigned, after all. Sleep isn't nearly as important as gathering this information." Toru said determined.

I don't sleep much either. The mission is important, but…It still unsettled him hearing a human say that, even if it wasn't his ward.

"Is…Is there anything else I can offer to aid you?" Kurogiri asked.

"You want to do my summer homework for me, so I don't have to do that busy work?" There was a tiny glint of humor to Toru's voice.

"Uhhh—" Kurogiri didn't know how to respond to that.

"If not, don't ask if there's anything I need. I've trained for this. I'm Master's tool. I'm useful. Use me. I don't need your help." Toru said sternly.

"Learned your lesson yet, Kurogiri? She doesn't need anyone. She's not possessed by emotion and dislikes like I am. That's what's so awful about her." Shigaraki pointed out.

It hurt Kurogiri that he was inwardly agreeing. He didn't know why it was painful. It was all true.

"…Yeah, I'll do your summer homework, Toru." Kurogiri found himself offering. "It will give you more time to work after all, as you've pointed out. And I have the time."

"…Really? In one of my desk drawers of the handwriting I use as a hero student. Most of it is busy work. Any of the essay stuff just think vapid teenage girl." Toru advised. "Get me a good grade. I'm playing up the good grade angle, currently."

"…Got it." Kurogiri replied reluctantly.

"I'm not helping you with your homework, Kurogiri." Shigaraki teased. "I will however watch you do the homework. It will be hilarious to see what heroes assign."

Perhaps I should use this opportunity to try teaching Tomura. He never did graduate elementary school. Good could come of this, Kurogiri reasoned. Although I suppose I don't know how much education I have, either. Did this body ever graduate high school? He didn't know.

Perhaps if there were any tough math problems, he'd ask one of the new recruits. One of them had to be a high school graduate, right?

With all that decided, the blanket fell to the floor and Toru got up. It was time to leave and begin her investigation.

So I am aware in canon during the summer camp they say they went into summer camp instead of having summer break, however with the episode before that at the pool, and the movie Two Heroes I assumed they had a tiny vacation before Summer Camp? Could be completely wrong but I have decided there will be at least one week break before summer camp in this story.

I am going back to surgery soon so I won't be able to update too much next week. I'm trying to get as many updates as possible this week.
