(4:45 PM After School)

Bexley had walked home since Two-Bit wasn't able to leave Ponyboy alone. She walks through the door but felt that something wasn't right the minute she walked in. The TV was still on, no doubt causing the electricity bill to spike up.

"Two-Bit? Ponyboy?" she called, turning off the TV. Now there was nothing but silence. First place she went to was the bedroom to see if he was in there, but he wasn't. She went to check every room and felt herself getting a bit panicked.

All that ran through her mind was that her brother had walked out of the house and she thought the absolute worst. At this realization, she started to feel her throat tighten up and her heart started racing. 'He's gone…' she thought.

She wanted to go out and look for him but her panic attack was keeping her from doing it. She walked backwards into the wall, letting her back hit the wall. Her breaths were loud and ragged, sounding more like wheezing.

Every part of her body was trembling uncontrollably as she slid down, pain coursing through her body. Her knees were pulled up to her chest and she grabbed her ears while rocking back and forth. Tears trailed down her face as she sobbed quietly.

The same terrifying thought kept repeating itself in her head. She was scared to death that something happened to Ponyboy.

A few minutes later, Soda walked inside with Darry. The minute they walked in, they were met by their sister going through another panic attack. She has suffered through many panic attacks just like this one. They started when their parents died hand have gotten worse over time. Everyone in the gang knew about them.

Her eyes were shut tightly as tears dripped off of her face.

She didn't even know her older brothers were there beside her. Soda knelt down beside her instantly and carefully pulled her into a hug.

"Easy, baby girl. Take deep breaths. You're okay," Soda said softly. Darry knelt down in front of Bexley, keeping a calm demeanor so he wouldn't scare her even more.

Bexley heard her brother's voice and opened her watery eyes, and they focused on Soda and Darry's faces and her hands dropped from her ears. She leaned into Soda's arms as she sobbed quietly. Although she shook and silently cried, she was breathing normally.

"What's the matter, Bexley? Tell us," Darry asked, trying to keep his voice low and calm. It took her a few minutes to answer him, and when she did, the answer confirmed their worst fears. "Ponyboy's gone… he's not here…" she gasped.

Soda felt her heart still racing quickly. Both brothers had to keep calm for the sake of their sister. "Shhh, it's okay. We'll go find him. He might be feeling better and left with Two-Bit." Darry assured. That soothed Bexley a little.

Suddenly, Two-Bit came rushing in. The three siblings didn't have a chance to ask what was wrong. "Guys, Pony's in the hospital. He wasn't breathing and his fever spiked up! I had to call an ambulance. We need to go to the hospital." Two-Bit rambled on, talking fast.

"Two-Bit, calm down. Tell us what happened," Darry said, the tone in his voice more obvious. Two-Bit swallowed the lump in his throat and repeated what he said.

"Soda, you and Bexley wait for me in the truck." Darry ordered, seeing that his younger brother and younger sister on the verge of vomiting. Darry couldn't risk either one of them having a panic attack again.

Soda and Bexley did what they were asked and got in the truck. Bexley scooted as close as she could to Soda, who had an arm around her waist.

Darry grabbed the keys from the coffee table and headed for the truck. Two-Bit had to ride in the back and he explained everything on the way to the hospital.
