Before this chapter begins i would like to explain few things :

2 English is not my first language , so please consider that while reading , im always trying to improve , also feel free to tell me about the mistakes i made so i can avoid them in future chapters , no worries though i read the story more than once and i corrected many mistakes , so this chapter can be pretty decent

It was a cloudy day in West city , Dr. Briefs was investigating the reasons of the sudden appearance of this mysterious portal in his lab , with a look mixed between curiosity and confidence the old scientist said :" it looks like the type of a portal that would exist outside of our universe , that's for sure , I wonder if goku could know something about this..." by the time the doctor turned to exit the lab , goku appeared right in front of him making the doctor fall on the ground , the spiky haired saiyan extended his hand to help the old man up :" sorry Doctor briefs , didn't mean to scare ya , I was planning to lock into vegeta or trunks's energies but none of them is on earth or even anywhere nearby ..this portal's energy is the one that brought me in here..." bulma ran towards her father and helped up alongside goku :" dad are you okay ?!" Bulma asked while worry was apparent on her light skinned face . To ease up his daughter's worry the doctor said :" worry not goku and bulma my love for you my dear bulma , your mother and for science is what keeping this old body alive and young , it's the people that sent you this calling for help are the ones we should worry about ." Bulma smiled in her father's face to brighten his day even for a bit and said :" I'm glad to hear you're okay dad , and dont worry about these people , Goku is going to make sure that every and single one of them is okay , speaking of which, goku ? Are you ready to enter ? " Determined to put an end for black once again , and this time with his own hands , goku answered :" Of course Bulma , the sooner the better , I'm ready to end black with no holding back this time ! No more lives are going to be wasted on my behalf !" Bulma stared at goku with seriousness and confusion while thinking to herslef :" seeing someone as kind hearted and pure as goku this angry is never a good thing , It sends chills right through me , its so much out of his character , either way I hope black is ready to face his well-deserved consequences of his monstrosity." Goku walked slowly towards the portal and thought to himself :" ever since I've got here , I could feel tension and pressure rising up nonstop as if the portal is suppressing more than just one energy signal , I know for sure now that black was not stupid enough to return on his own , I could feel that his power has skyrocketed ever since the last time I fought him , more importantly who would bring him back to life and why ? ...Well... no need to question what I am about to find out..." suddenly goku stopped walking few millimetres away from the portal :"wait I just can't leave without..." goku took a look back directly at bulma and said :" Bulma , listen to what I am about to say , and do it without questioning please.." Bulma was shocked and asked :" Goku ? What gives ? Is there anything you're not telling me ? " Goku's expressions softened a bit as he explained :" Bulma I need you to trust me on this one , Goten and gohan are still on earth , piccolo , krillin , 17 and 18 are here too , I can trust all of them with my life , but sometimes we need to be extra prepared for any uninvited visitors that can be too stubborn to leave ,..." Bulma catched up soon :" you mean like frieza right ?" Goku nodded : " exactly , that's why You need to call vegeta and trunks back at once and broly if possible ..I'll go now an-" before goku could finish his sentence vegeta and the 24 years old trunks appeared right in front of him , to goku's suprise the last time he saw trunks , was when he was almost as half as tall as goku was and now he is almost as tall as he is , goku smiled:" Trunks you grew up into a powerful warrior I see that you're almost as strong as goten is now , and vegeta you're on a whole other level " goku saluted his two saiyan friends , trunks was thrilled to see goku again , he always respected the saiyan's kind nature and the efforts he makes to grow stronger for the noble reason of being the earth's greatest protector , he saluted him respectfully:" mr Goku ! Its great to see you again ! How have you been ? " Goku responds kindly :" I'm doing great , but its about time you and goten become the earth's protectors , dont you think ?" Trunks was a bit surprised but he didn't want to disappoint his father and goku , he carefully said :" y-yes of course goku , I've been training non stop for the past 2 years , I think I should be able to honour both you and my father.." vegeta proudly smirked , goku couldn't help but smile too :" I know that the earth will always be protected even after me and vegeta... I've been training goten myself ever since the tournament of power was called off ...I'd say you rival him in power trunks." Suddenly vegeta's expressions darkened :" Kakarot ! Are you implying that your son is stronger than mine ?! " goku lifted both of his hands to calm vegeta down:" come on vegeta doesn't that make you want to train your son even harder ? Plus I didn't say goten was stronger did I? " Vegeta angrily brushed off:" whatever you say kakarot , I know you're not here just to tell me how powerful goten has become, you better spill it " Goku's expressions suddenly became more serious :" I'm just glad both of you are on earth now , you must have heard about this portal from bulma ,and y" vegeta interrupted goku :" black is back , I know , as long as he is out of universe 7 he can do as much as he pleases , I need to become stronger kakarot , you can take care of him yourself, you have enough power to do so , besides ,the portal almost got closed off the last day but I managed to make it stay opened for at least few more hours , I suggest you hurry if you want to save the few weaklings that are left.." goku knew that vegeta wouldn't go , and he preferred to go alone since he had a bad feeling about this strange energy that has been imitating through the portal ever since he detected its presence, :" thank you vegeta , I'll go get chichi goten , gohan , pan videl , krillin and his family and master roshi.. they'll be safer here" Bulma looked at goku for moment before she said :" ill go prepare rooms for each one of them " Goku gratefully replied :" thanks bulma I knew I could count on you guys...and trunks could you please go get the rest of the z fighters" to which trunks immediately responded with a thumbs up :" on it goku " the purple haired youngster blasted himself in the air , goku has put two fingers on his forehead before he vanished in the thin air... -- Somewhere in the southeast mountains-- Chichi was in her kitchen cleaning up the plates with the help of videl . Goku suddenly appeared in front of the house :" chichi ? It's me goku are you home ?." Chichi ran outside facing up her husband :" Goku ? You're back already ? Welcome back honey ...I...I..." chichi's happy expressions suddenly turned to that of pure fear as she stuttered:" you...y-you...you're...not... goku...who are you ? W-what are you ?" Suddenly tears ran down the ox princess's face , tears of fear and anger :" where is goku ?! What have you done to him ?!" The spiky haired saiyan switched his gaze to the ground without responding ...which made chichi's breathing even more intense , she could see the sun vanish and the sky getting dark , her house , her entire surroundings were fading into darkness , all she could hear , was the echoing screams of pain agony and fear , and all she could see was plain darkness and the embodiment of her husband standing motionless few meters away from her , her feet crumbled before she fell on her knees , fear was taking over her , this was not the feeling she felt when goku got home , when her goku got home she felt like the safest woman on earth , she might appear to be a bit severe only because she wanted him around and not training light years away from her , her love for him nonetheless was unmatched, she saw him as a husband and a family , she felt she could trust him with her deepest secrets without any spec of regret .This spiky haired embodiment of her husband was disturbingly the opposite , she felt nothing but pure undeniable terror , ever since she questioned what was supposed to be her husband , there hasn't been any movement at all , chichi was slowly backing away while she was still on the ground , she wasnt able to stand up , fear was starting to play with her mind , her first instinct was to get her goten , gohan , her grandchild and her daughter-in-law out of here away from this thing , but everything around her was obscure and dark . She screamed for them to run away , but there was no response , she feared the worst , and suddenly the fear that took over her soul has now turned into anger that could scare the mightiest warriors on earth , she screamed at the top of her lungs :" where are my babies ?! First my husband and now my kids ?!" She was not about to have this , the raging mother was not going to let this thing get away from here , and right before ran towards him , with a undetected twitch from the fake embodiment in front of her , her kids , her grandkid and her daughter-in-law appeared out of nowhere, making her stutter , while tears were flowing down her cheeks , she felt something sinister coming from them , she knew this thing was playing with her feelings at this point , this thing knew her worst fears , her biggest weakness , it was her family ,even though the ox princess was one of the most strong-willed women on earth being a martial artist herself , she was now emotionally defeated , she couldn't stop tears from flowing down :"goku...p-please if you are here , please tell me that it's going to be okay , that my babies are alive and well , that you are still alive , I'm scared...I'm terrified...only...you..goku...only you can protect me and my babies...I have nobody else beside you my kids and my father,.. my mother passed away ...you and my babies are my only reason to be happy..." wept chichi while tears choked her , she was still clinging into hope... in the same time the embodiment started to make its way towards where she was kneeling while keeping its gaze on the ground , its clothes went from orange to grey slowly...and the sinister voices came back again... chichi didn't look she just kept crying helplessly ,... she was prepared to die , but she was not going to forgive herself if she was going to let this evil presence imprison her dear goku , she summoned all the hope she was holding on into and screamed for her husband's name on the top of her lungs, she immediately felt a familiar warmth embrace and immerse her heart , she heard her name being called :" Chichiiii!!!" , goku appeared out of the thin air and delivered a universe shattering punch to this impostor making it fly thousands of meters away from his trembling wife , before it was completely dissimilated.. goku wasted no time getting his wife into his arms , he shook her shoulder gently :" Chichi !! Chichi !! , I'm back please say anything! Anything at all ! " gohan and goten heard the commotion and soon were by their parents's side , videl brought pan with her too , the two saiyan brothers were shaken up after they saw the state their mother was in , " Mother !!! What's wrong ?! What's going on ?! Father ?! Is she okay ?!" Gohan asked holding his mother's hands into his , Goku gently put his wife on the grass before videl ran to her side. suddenly the spiky haired saiyan glared angrily towards his sons which caught the two of them off guard , he commanded videl : " videl , I want you to hold pan for a second , I need to have a talk with my two sons..." Goku switched his gaze towards Gohan and Goten who were puzzled by goku's strange behaviour , usually even under circumstances like these , goku was usually calm and collected but now his power level was rising up frightening even the likes of them . Videl shook chichi :" chichi please say anything , please be okay ! You're scaring me !" Said videl while holding her mother-in-law between her arms , she could feel that she was shaking, she was not blinking , tears ran down her pale cheeks and her breathing was hard , pan's eyes teared up seeing her grandmother in such a terrifying state , she hugged her tightly and cried , Videl's blue eyes teared up as well :" please chichi , stay alive , you're still young even for a grandmother. People who see you with me always mistook you of being my sister , you are like a mother to me , my happiness cannot be fulfilled without you , I'm not sure my gohan and pan can live without you too...please fight this fear , I know how strong you are..." chichi's trembling hand was kindly placed on her grand-daughter's head. She was still fighting.
With disappointment mixed with anger Goku stared his two sons down before , he disappeared and reappeared right in front of Gohan punching him directly in the face sending him crashing down the nearest mountain , he glared at goten who was in a clear state of shock before he dashed towards him with a kick targeting the gut , making the young saiyan gasp for air before he fell groaning in pain ... gohan was bleeding and so was goten , Gohan didn't even dare to question his father for what he just did because he knew the reason behind his anger , Gohan didn't care he just hoped his mother was okay , but the 23 year old goten protested :" You could have warned me at least !" Goku teleported back right in front of his youngest son and yelled:" I thought I told the both to keep your mother and the earth safe while I was gone ! Do you realise how close your mother was to death ?! Black sent a copy of himself through the portal and tried to kill her telepathically, something that I taught and warned both of you against !! How could you let such a thing happen to her ?! " gohan and goten weren't able to reply because they knew their father was right , goten has even felt a sinister presence bur he brushed it off thinking he was just being paranoid because of his upcoming university project... Goku was able to read goten's mind and suddenly regretted his previous actions , his anger was suppressed before he said :" look I'm sorry... I'm sorry for doing this...I just need you guys to trust your instinct , it may not occur very often but when it does its not going to deceive you... " the saiyan father explained right before he threw a couple of senzu beans to each of his sons telling both of them to eat it. Goku got back beside his wife , videl and pan were still sobbing, he tried to ease them off , so he picked his grand daughter in his arms and said while patting her back gently :" don't worry pan , grand ma chichi is going to be okay I promise you that , she would also want you to stop crying okay ?" Videl''s eyes brightened up and asked her father-in-law:" really ?! Is she gonna be okay ? " asked videl still holding chichi into her arms... goku was glad to see that gohan knew who to chose as a wife , someone that loved his parents as much as he did , he replied :" don't worry videl , I gave her energy that will fetch her right up .." videl took a look back at chichi to find her sleeping , she immediately hugged her feeling glad that she was going to be okay ,... Goku explained why he was back and commended them to hold on to him and he used his instant transmission to get them to bulma's capsule corporation , goku was not able to leave until bulma and everyone assured they will take good care of his beloved wife ,.. the saiyan now has stepped into the portal and he found himself into a new world that was gloomy and destroyed... he immediately picked on black's energy :" Black ! I'll teach you what happens to those who think it's okay to mess with my chichi !!! " anger got the better of goku and his muscles bulged out before blasting himself towards black's destination in a terrifying speed.
