(Chapter 2): Welcome to the Future

Ace was proud of his design, though it was close, but not as young as the little girls he imagined, but anything can do.

Suddenly, he was lifted off the ground by Buttercup. "Okay! Talk you clown!"

"Oh brother..." Ace knew about his results if his creations backfired.

"Hey! Are we alive?!" Bubbles looked amazed while Blossom looked in the mirror.

"And we're young again!" Blossom looked closer. "I don't have wrinkles anymore!"

"Okay, Ace! What did you do?!" Buttercup lifted Ace by his shirt.

"Hey, Buttercup, what are these?" Asked Bubbles, pointing to some urns with their names on them.

Buttercup looked at her Urn. "I remember... Taking my last breath..."

"All I did was bring you all back into the present, or as what you may call, the future." Ace replied as he smirked.

"You don't look old." Bubbles tilted her head.

"Why thank you, young lady." Ace pat Bubbles as she blushed. "Anyways, do you all remember kicking our butts back there and then?"

"Yeah! And now I can do it again!" Buttercup prepared a punch, but then the door rang.

Ace pushed Buttercup away as he got the door.

"Your pizza, sir." Said a Regular-looking teen, with red eyes and red hair, holding a pizza box that looked freshly made.

"Brick?!" asked Blossom as she flew over. "Are you up to no good?!"

"Brick? What are you talking about?" Asked the Pizza Delivery Boy. "My name's Buck. I'm from the USA, delivering Pizza here."

"As if we fall for the same trick again!" Buttercup raised her fists, scaring Buck.

"Hey Bucko, tell me your quirk!" Ace ordered.

"QUIRK?!" The three girls looked confused.

"Well, my arms and legs can blast heat from my hands and feet, all made by eating food." Buck explained.

"Is that why you don't have shoes on?" asked Bubbles, giggling at Buck.

"Why yes." Buck shows steam coming from his feet as he levitates a little bit, shocking the girls. "Oh, and here's your Pizza, Mr... Ace?"

"Yes, I'll just pay over credit to prevent my money from burning in your hands." Ace took out his Card and Buck got out a Laser Gun Scanner that took invisible money from the card. Just literally seeing sort of visible paper flying from the card to the gun.

"Enjoy your Pizza, sir." Buck tipped his hat. "Now I must go before you know who steals the pizza."

And with that, Buck blasted off like he was Ironman.

"Gotta love him!" Ace chuckled as he opened the pizza box, with freshly made pizza sizzled in the box. "This guy's quirk makes Pizza Deliveries more fresh! And you KNOW I like sharp taste! Oh wait, you're barely alive twenty minutes ago..."

"What is a Quirk?" Asked Bubbles.

"Oh, you know, superpowers?" Ace answered. "Everyone has them."

"I don't believe you!" Buttercup crossed her arms. "That was clearly Brick as the Pizza Boy!"

"Say whatever ya like." Ace took a pizza slice and ate it from the tip of the corner. "Why don't you take a look through that window?"

Ace pointed to the window, explaining his point.

The three girls looked outside the window to Ace's Living Room, and found a school for teenagers, well, sort of teenagers.

Surprised and astonished, the group was amazed and confused at every kid having powers that were visible by each one. Each one of different shapes and sizes, boys and girls, all looking like Japanese School Students.

"Hey! What's going on?!" Blossom looked over to Ace as he was eating another slice of Pizza.

"So, now you believe me, or are you going to make me regret making you with Wasabi?!" asked Ace.

"Okay, we believe you." Bubbles walked to Ace. "Everyone has superpowers?!"

"Trust me, they ABUSE their rights to heroism and try profiting off it." Ace huffed in disgust. "To think heroes are worth money! They are a prized treasure and should never be taken for granted!"

"Are you calling me, Treasure?" Bubbles blushed even more.

"Snap out of it!" Buttercup shouted at Bubbles. "For all we know, this place can be full of villains!"

"Indeed there are as the battle of heroes and villains continue with no rest..." Ace yawned. "It gets boring."

"So what you're saying is that there are heroes trying to make money off of being heroes?" Blossom explained the nutshell. "Isn't that good?"

"Here's the thing." Ace explained. "It's not worth it, they pay you cheaply and you have to pay the school back for like what? Kazillion Shmillion Yenkabucks, whatever, I don't care... The point is, they are REALLY trying hard to be heroes and it's breaking your reputation!"

"How?" Asked Buttercup.

"Easy! They make you look rich." Ace pointed at a Statue of Bubbles, Buttercup and Blossom.

This slightly offended the girls.

"What?! We're not rich!" Buttercup shouted and pounded the table, breaking it.

"I never owned anything rich..." Bubbles felt used.

"Is it true?!" Blossom looked at herself.

"The reason why I revived you is that we must eradicate al heroes from profit and put your name back as just Icons and not rich goddesses. An old blue hair, no eyed pal told me that." Ace looked at the Ceiling. "Rest in peace, old chum! I'm talking about 2D!"

"Hey! The band of Gorillaz you played bass for, how are they?!" Asked Blossom.

"Oh, you know, in another life, which I surely wish to go, but thanks to Murdoc, I'm immortal..." Ace sighed. "At least I know how to play the bass."

"So what about now?" asked Bubbles.

"For now, I gotta rest and take it easy, figure out how to get on my toes, since Wasabi ain't cheap." Ace crossed his arms. "You girls are made from toys, Wasabi and some Japanese cookies and soda... and your ashes..."

This put the girls in a little bit of sympathy for Ace. Even Buttercup had to agree on that situation if Ace was influenced by Gorillaz and learned the hard way of being heroes and villains. After all, Ace DID get to see Hollywood and yet wasn't impressed by how things turned out to be when his friend 2D was nothing more than a music box to all of the rapping industry that other countries sold out their ideas to make Americans happy, but the fact is good music is understandable, not repeating words that mean Illuminati spells of women, drugs, cars and money. Even after the ritual of living forever, Ace chose to move away from America and move to a more complex country, Japan.

It was strange that Ace, out of all people, would be the one to revive the girls and put the knowledge he knew.

And that reminded Ace as he facepalmed.

"SHOOT! FORGOT THE GORILLAZ ALBUMS TO PUT IN THE MIX!" Ace got up and looked for his discs. "At least I get to keep them..."

"Are we just going to ait here and do nothing?!" Asked Buttercup.

"We can't do A THING!" Ace reminded them. "Wasabi ain't cheap! The least I could do was pay my rent with that money, but no! I needed spice and I doubt some spicy ramen would help!"

"So how about you enroll us in the Academy?" Asked Blossom.

"You read my mind there, darling!" Ace smirked. "This Thursday, the league of villains will plan to strike the islands of Japan! Here's what my plan is!"

Ace took out a rolled up map of Modern Japanz scribbled in spray paint crayon.
