Stephanie didn't know where she was, at times she thought she could hear voices but for the most part it was silent and dark and cold. This went on for who knows how long when she heard a birds song. Sitting up and opening her eyes she found herself in a field. Flinging her head back and forth in confusion she took in her surroundings. It looked like a huge playing field just without any sports equipment. Snow covered the ground leaving a perfect cloud to walk upon. Getting up and taking a tentative step forward she thought she could hear her best friend.

'Ziggy! are you there? Where are you?!' Silence. She didn't know what was more worrying, the fact she could had heard his voice and he wasn't there or that she couldnt remember how she got here. She decided to take a walk, seeing as there was nothing and nobody around. She walked for about 10 minutes and came across a small cabin, She was freezing by this point,Shaking and trembling, so knocked gently on the door and waited. No answer. Knocking again but a little harder, the door swung open to reveal a small simple room with a tiny fireplace.

' Hello? Hello? I'm sorry I was hoping I may be able to stay for a little while until my friend's find me please? it's so cold outside. Hello?' Nothing. The silence was scaring her a little, but she decided she would stay and if the owners came back she would apologise and explain. Having a little look around she found that the water tap wasn't working and there was the barest amount of firewood. Using what she had she made the tiniest fire in the fireplace and sat down in front of it. It wasn't enough to keep anything but her hands warm, but as the sun started to set and darkness overtook it gave her some comfort that she wasn't outside anymore. Curling up in front of the fire, she fell asleep, hoping that Sportacus was on his way to find her.

'Ziggy, Ziggy Wake up!' Jumping awake at the voice, Stephanie looked round the little Cabin, She could have sworn she heard Robbie Rotten, but what would he be doing here and why would he be talking to Ziggy of all people? She was colder now, the fire had died out long ago and her hands were icecubes. Clouds erupted out of her mouth when she breathed. Thinking she should keep moving she explored the tiny cabin a bit more, but after 15 minutes she found nothing of interest and sat on the floor. Tears starting to fall down her cheeks, She wanted to go home, She wanted her Uncle, her friends, Sportacus, Heck she even wanted Robbie Rotten. There was a sound outside, though she didn't know what it was so she slowly made her way to the door and looked out. Nothing. Maybe if she went outside and called for help somebody would find her. Opening the door and stepping out, closing the it behind her, she trudged her way along the tiny porch. About to go down the steps she slipped and fell down.

'Ow!' Tears sprung to her eyes and she sat up, bringing her hand to her forehead. Red trickled through her fingers and onto the powdery snow. Blood. clamping her hand to her head she tried not to cry.

Come on Stephanie, You have to be brave, they must all be looking for you, Sportacus's crystal will let him know your in trouble. Not knowing what else to do she pulled her knees up and cried silently into her arms.

'Sweetheart? Stephanie?' Her head snapped up, She hadn't heard that voice in over 2 years.

'Da... Daddy?, Is that you?' He came closer, she could clearly make out his features, curly brown hair, tall and broad, kind of like Sportacus.

' Daddy!'She jumped up and into his open arms. He was wearing her favourite aftershave, the one a paticular hero always wore.

' I missed you so much, wait ... does this mean that I'm.. I'm dead?' Knawing her bottom lip Tears started to fall,

' No sweetheart you're not dead, but you are in hospital, and you need to wake up soon or my brother will likely have a heart attack.'

' Uncle Milford? oh no is he okay?!'

' Hes fine sweetheart just worried for you, many people are, you were trapped for a very long time, its lucky that Ziggy fellow was able to get you out of the water so quickly.'

As he said this memories flooded through her brain

'Stephanie! Hold on I'm coming!'

'Oh no! Ziggy's all alone in the snow! Daddy we have to get to get him!'

' Calm down sweetheart, your friend is fine. That hero of yours and the purple villian found you both as he pulled you out of the water. They've kept you safe and as warm as they could during the night as the blizzard was too strong for them to get you home.'

' Sportacus and Robbie? Why are they helping each other? Robbie hates me.'

Feeling confused but feeling safe amd warm wrapped In her daddy's arms she looked out at the field around her.

'He doesn't hate you Steph, you remind him of somebody very special to him and it hurts him. He and your hero are now very close, and I'm asking you, please give him a chance. He wants to change, even if he doesn't know it yet'

Staying quiet but thinking intently she nodded.

' I'll try daddy.'

'Stephanie!... No...hold on...help!... Emergency...oxygen... Stephanie don't do this... please!...

' Good, now you need to wake up and stop scaring everybody. Give my brother a hug for me and tell him I miss him. And tell Sportacus that I approve of what he will eventually do. He has my support. '

'Daddy? What do you mean?' But the arms and lap she was in had disappeared.

' Daddy? Daddy?' Jumping up she twirled around, The cabin was gone, the field was slowly disappearing.

'Come on Pinkie, breathe!'

Stephanie felt pressure on her chest, enough to push her to the floor. It hurt.

'I love you sweetheart, remember that its okay to love others. It doesn't mean you love me any less.'

' Daddy? Daddy where are you?! Come back!'

'Stephanie... Stephanie wake up please... Steph...'

Stephanie jumped up and kept spinning round and round until finally everything went black

Beep ...beep... beep

Groggily Stephanie began to hear different things.

beep...beep...beep,

Trying to move, her entire body felt like lead. As if she hadnt moved for a week. Opening her eyes and slamming them shut again against the light she breathed deeply. Her chest hurt, and she still felt a bit cold. There was something up her nose. She felt a pressure on her left hand and opened her eyes again. Bringing her right hand up she tried to take out the tube that was in her nose. Fiddling with it for a moment, she almost succeeded until a large warm hand gently stilled her progress. Looking to the owner she saw the chocolate brown eyes of Robbie Rotten.

'Rob...'She tried to say but her voice was hoarse and it hurt her throat.

Robbie shook his head and put his finger to his lips. Pointing to her left she looked over, Sportacus was asleep in a chair next to her, his right arm under his head on her bed and his hand loosely holding hers. Looking back at Robbie she felt tears welling In her eyes.

'Shh, you're going to be fine. 'He whispered, and gently stroked her hair, holding onto her other hand.

Feeling safe Stephanie closed her eyes again and drifted back off to sleep.

Robbie Rotten was exhausted. It had been 2 weeks since their escapade in the snow and he and Sportacus had spent the entire time in the hospital by Pinkies bedside. It took days for him to convince Sportacus to shower change and eat ,and he only agreed because Robbie swore he wouldn't leave her side. Not that he wanted to anyway, It had scared him when the monitors had had started ringing loudly, Being thrown back to the day his daughter died. Sportacus was calling Stephanie's name and simultaneously calling for help. Robbie immediatly jumped out of his seat and started chest compressions

'Come on Pinkie, Breathe!'

Then the doctors all swarmed in and pushed the men outside the room. Sportacus had paced for an hour until Robbie couldnt take it anymore. Stopping his elf mid pace he clamped his arms round the smaller man and he collapsed into his arms. Sobs came from his lips as Robbie lowered them to the ground, tears falling from his own eyes.

Please Stacey, Don't let Pinkie die.

Shaking his head from the memories he heard a tiny groan, leaning forward he saw Pinkie was coming to. She opened her eyes but shut them again tightly so Robbie turned down the lights slightly. She opened them again and started trying to remove the oxygen tube. Slowly, but firmly held her her wrist until she looked at him.

'Rob...' Shaking his head and indicating her to be quiet he pointed towards his elf, who had finally succumbed to well needed sleep about an hour ago. Looking back at the girl he saw she was crying. Taking a deep breathe he carefully stroked her hair.

'Shh Your going to be fine.'

It was two days before Stephanie woke again. This time it didn't take as long for her to get her barings. Looking round the room. she saw her Uncle Milford standing with a doctor at the door. Bessie was sitting next to her humming and Knitting what looked to be a blanket. What really suprised her though was Sportacus and Robbie curled up asleep together on the couch by the opposite wall.

Hmm I wonder if that's ehat Daddy meant by them being very close now.

Moving her arm, Bessie's head snapped up.

' Oh Stephanie dear!'

What happened next was quite comical. Sportacus had shot up from where he was lying next to Robbie, pushing him to the floor where he awoke with a bang and a grumble. Her uncle and the doctor stopped mid sentence. All at once every adult was crowded round her, each trying to talk at once until he doctor finally said..

'Silence! Now let me check her stats before I kick every single one of you out of this room. Sit!' He ordered, pointing to the couch. Feeling very scolded and embarrassed the adults sat down immediatly, Sportacus was practically jumping in his seat and Bessie was quietly crying into Milfords shoulder. Trying to calm his elf down, Robbie put a hand on his Jumping knee and gently traced circles into it. Sportacus smiled at him and squeezed his hand but Robbie could tell he was anxious to see Pinkie. Sighing slightly. They waited until he doctor was finished.
