(A/N: So we've made it all the way to Chapter 4. Perhaps Mario and Luigi will put their plan into play here? More importantly, what is their plan? The only way those questions are gonna get answered is if you start reading!)
The next morning was the last day of their visit to the Beanbean Kingdom. Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy met up for breakfast to discuss what they should do on their last day of the trip.
"I think we've seen pretty much everything the Beanbean Kingdom has to offer, but we've still got today. I'm thinking that perhaps we should revisit one of the places we've been to, like Chucklehuck Woods, or maybe even Hoohoo Mountain. If you guys have something in mind, let me know, because I'm open to any suggestions." Peach said.
"I really don't mind what we do today. Revisiting any place sounds good to me." Daisy replied.
"Actually, Peach, there's one place we didn't go to yet." Mario said.
"What place would that be, Mario?" Peach asked.
"How about we visit Joke's End?" Mario suggested.
"Joke's End? Why do you want to go there?" Peach asked.
"Mario and I were thinking about seeing it again, but we don't want to go there without you or Daisy." Luigi said.
"Guys, are you sure that's a good idea? You know why you had to go there last time." Daisy said, remembering what Mario and Luigi told her on the way to the Beanbean Kingdom.
"Yes, but... we have some lavoro incompleto... unfinished business to take care of there. And we might need help from you girls." Mario said.
"What do you say, Peach? Do you really want to go back to Joke's End?" Daisy asked her cousin in a whisper.
"Well, I did say I wanted to revisit certain places to replace the bad memories, and I didn't really see much of Joke's End, despite Mario leading me out of there when he and Luigi tricked Bowletta into letting me go. Plus, I think Mario and Luigi really want to take care of whatever it is they have to do. It must be pretty important." Peach said.
"So what's the verdict?" Mario asked.
"Are we going to Joke's End?" Luigi added.
"Yes. We'll go." said Peach.
"Okay, then." Daisy said.
"Aspetta un secondo! Wait a sec! It's-a pretty cold at Joke's End. Perhaps we should get some sweaters before we go." said Mario.
"We should, because we didn't pack any sweaters. I hadn't thought about Joke's End when we packed." Peach said.
"And I know I didn't, since the weather in the Mushroom Kingdom is quite nice right now, and I wasn't expecting any trips to the Beanbean Kingdom when I came to visit you guys." Daisy added.
So everyone stopped at one of the stores at Little Fungitown and bought themselves sweaters to wear at Joke's End, some nice souvenirs from a better trip to the Beanbean Kingdom.
As they walked to the warp pipe, they donned their sweaters, and Mario explained that they really had to warp because of how he and Luigi had to get to Joke's End before they found the warp pipe to it.
"There's no way all of us could ride a Luigi surfboard." Mario said.
"Oh my gosh! Luigi, were you okay?" Daisy asked.
"Certo. Of course. I don't think I'd be here if I wasn't okay." Luigi replied.
"Oh yeah." Daisy realized.
When they got to Joke's End, Mario and Luigi ran straight up to the front entrance, leaving their girlfriends in the dust.
And who should show up at the entrance but Jojora. She was less than happy when she saw Mario and Luigi standing there.
"Oh, look who it is! The friend-killing jerks!" Jojora exclaimed in unhappiness.
"And if it isn't the lying liar who lies!" Luigi said.
"You're calling me a liar?!" Jojora asked.
"We're not calling you for dinner." Mario said, and Luigi started snickering.
"Whatever! I wouldn't accept a call from you murderers even if you were the last men alive! And if you came here looking for an apology from me, you're out of luck, because I'm not going to give you one, now or ever! You don't deserve one after what you did to my friend! I don't want to see you, and neither do my other friends, because no girls would ever like you!" Jojora said.
"What was that?!" a couple of feminine voices were heard saying.
Jojora hadn't expected hearing a reply to that comment, much less from voices that sounded like they belonged to females.
"What? Who said that?" Jojora asked, looking around.
"We did." the same voices replied.
"Show yourselves!" Jojora said, unable to see who the owners of the voices were.
Mario and Luigi moved aside, and Peach and Daisy came walking up to the entrance, looking less than happy with the words Jojora said to their boyfriends.
"Don't tell me that you girls came here with them!" Jojora said, referring to the Mario Bros.
"So what if we did?" Peach asked.
"And who do you think you are? Some kind of goddess?" Daisy asked.
"Oh right, you haven't met." Mario said, before starting to make the introductions, "Girls, this is Jojora."
"Hi." Peach said.
"What's up?" Daisy asked.
"Please don't tell me you're with those guys..." Jojora replied.
"And Jojora, we'd like you to meet our girlfriends, Princess Peach and Princess Daisy!" Luigi said, motioning to each girl as he said her name.
"WHAAAAAAT?! You're princesses?! And you're dating them?! After what they did to my friend?! How can you do that?!" Jojora screamed at Peach and Daisy.
"They're not you. That's why they're dating us." Luigi replied.
"And if they're dating us, we're obviously better than you think!" Mario said.
"No, this isn't right. They must be under a spell or something, because no girl, princesses included, would ever like you!" Jojora said to the Mario Bros.
Peach frowned at that, but Daisy was furious!
"(gasp) How dare you say that to Luigi! You take that back, witch!" Daisy yelled.
"Make me!" Jojora challenged.
"Gladly!" said Daisy, and she was preparing to give Jojora a well-deserved slap across the face. However, Luigi caught her arm as she brought it back.
"No, no. Not yet, sweetie. We don't want to do anything rash." Luigi said to Daisy.
"But she can't say that to you!" Daisy snarled. Luigi wasn't frightened when Daisy said that, but maybe that's because he knew Daisy was really mad at Jojora and not him.
"I know. But you might not want to do anything to her. She knows magic, which spells trouble." Luigi said.
Daisy knew that messing with someone who knows magic has dire consequences, so she reluctantly backed down.
"Okay, but if she says one more rotten thing to you or Mario, don't hold me back!" Daisy told him.
"If she does, go right ahead and deal with her as you like. I won't stop you." Luigi said, suddenly looking happy.
"Daisy and I fell in love with Mario and Luigi for good reasons! But I am curious. What did they do to your friend to make you hate them so much?" Peach asked.
"Oh, that's easy! They killed her!" Jojora shouted.
"Why?" Peach asked, not even the least bit shocked at what Mario and Luigi had done. If Jojora was this bad, she couldn't imagine what her friend had been like. She had seen the Mario Bros. deal with bad girls before, such as Wendy O. Koopa.
"Because they're JERKS!" Jojora complained.
"No, that's you! You're the Queen of Jerks!" Mario shouted.
"I am not!" Jojora said.
"Yes, you are! Remember how you treated us when we were here?!" Luigi asked.
"You were being a jerk when we were getting to areas you didn't think we could reach! You told us to give up, and then you said that no girls would ever like us!" Mario recalled.
"Okay, so I was wrong about that part. So sue me. But didn't I let you guys decide which of my friends I should invite that day? What kind of jerk lets her guests decide who to invite?" Jojora asked.
"A jerk who knew that her guests were going to invite trouble, no matter which friend they picked!" Luigi said.
"She was not trouble!" Jojora insisted.
"Oh, yes she was!" Mario said.
"You treated her like an enemy!" Jojora said.
"Because you decided to sic her on us!" Luigi said.
"I had to! You guys were so stubborn and annoying!" Jojora said.
"No, you're wrong! When we came here, it was just to rescue my girlfriend! That's all we wanted to do! If your stupid friend hadn't acted like she wanted to rape me and Luigi, she'd still be alive right now!" Mario said.
"How dare you say such a thing about her! All she wanted was to be friends with you guys! Now I'm going to avenge her, just like I should've done when you went and..." Jojora started, and she reached for her wand... except for one small problem...
"My wand?! Where is it?! I had it on me the whole time! I know I didn't drop it!" Jojora said, frantically searching her pockets for it.
"Looking for this?!" Mario asked, holding up something familiar. It was Jojora's wand! Somehow, he'd filched it from her!
"What the-?! How did you get my wand?! You couldn't have taken it from me! I had my eyes on you this whole time!" Jojora said.
"So you say. But when Luigi and Daisy were talking, I saw you looking at them, and your wand was peeking out of your pocket. Since you weren't paying attention to me, or your wand, I took it! And you didn't even notice that it was missing until you decided that you wanted to use it!" Mario said, smirking as he held the wand.
"Give it back to me! I'm the only one who knows how to use it!" Jojora demanded.
"Luigi, what do you think I should do?" Mario asked.
"I don't think you should give it back, bro. I mean, I wouldn't if I were you." Luigi said.
"Right. If we give it back to her, she might use it to do something to us that we don't want her to do. We should hold onto the wand." Mario said.
"If you don't return my wand to me right now, I'm really gonna let you have it..." Jojora started, getting angrier by the second.
"I don't think you'll be able to do anything. We have your wand, and that immediately gives us the upper hand. So if you try to do anything to us, you'll instantly lose." Luigi said, smirking.
That did it. Jojora finally lost her temper!
"AAARRRGGGHHH! WHY DIDN'T I JUST KILL YOU GUYS WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE?! I SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT WHEN YOU WENT AND KILLED MY FRIEND! YOU GUYS ARE THE MOST STUBBORN, ANNOYING, AND UNCOOLEST JERKS IT HAS EVER BEEN MY MISFORTUNE TO KNOW! I WILL GET MY WAND BACK, AND WHEN I DO, I'LL USE IT TO DESTROY YOU AND MAKE THOSE IDIOT GIRLS FORGET THEY EVER KNEW YOU, MUCH LESS LOVED YOU, 'CAUSE HOW THEY CAN LOVE MURDERERS LIKE YOU IS BEYOND ME!" Jojora screamed, and she was just about ready to rip Mario and Luigi apart.
Luigi's eyes were as big as dinner plates when he heard Jojora yell at him and his brother like she did, and Mario, courageous as he was, also looked a little nervous. But he wasn't about to give up the wand. If he did, then that would be the end of him and Luigi!
Well, as you might have guessed, Peach and Daisy were NOT going to stand for this! No one, not even the Bros.' worst enemies, would get away with saying something like that to Mario and Luigi. The princesses had heard enough from the little blue she-demon! It was time for her to pay the penalty for treating Mario and Luigi that way.
"THAT TEARS IT!" Daisy shouted, and before Jojora knew what was happening, she found herself being savagely attacked by two VERY furious princesses. Yup, Peach and Daisy were letting her have a beating worse than the one she had been planning to give Mario and Luigi. Peach was reacting the way she would when she used the Rage Vibe during the time she had to rescue Mario, Luigi, and Toad from Bowser. Daisy, on the other hand, was just attacking Jojora like a crazy person.
Jojora hadn't reacted quick enough when she heard Daisy's shout, so she was not at all prepared for the attack. She tried to scream, but Daisy kicked her in the throat, cutting her off. She tried to move, but it seemed as though Peach and Daisy were coming at her from every direction. She never saw it coming, and because she was without her wand, she was at the mercy of the princesses.
Mario and Luigi could only see one of those fight clouds that you see in cartoons when characters fight, with heads, hands, or feet popping out every now and again. They didn't know just what Peach and Daisy were doing to Jojora, but it must have been pretty violent if they couldn't see it.
"I've never seen Peach get that angry before. Not even when Bowser captured us." Mario replied watching the fight cloud and wishing he could see what was going on inside it.
"And Daisy... Boy, am I glad I'm not Jojora!" Luigi replied, wondering just how badly Daisy was beating Jojora.
When the dust cleared, Jojora was lying on the ground in the worst shape she had ever been in. Peach and Daisy appeared to be unscathed, but they were still very angry and obviously not finished with Jojora... yet.
"If you ever say anything like that about our boyfriends again, I can assure you that you're going to regret the day you messed with them!" Peach swore.
"And you're lucky we didn't kill you! We should have killed you for saying that you should've killed Mario and Luigi! If you ever antagonize them again, we will come back and finish you off! And that's not a threat; it's a promise! Is that clear?!" Daisy asked, still seething with rage.
It took a while before Jojora was finally able to speak. Daisy had kicked her in the throat so many times that it really hurt to talk.
"C-c-cl... ear... Per... fect... ly... c-cl... ear..." Jojora croaked out as best she could.
"Good! But just to make sure you don't do anything like you tried to do to Mario or Luigi ever again..." Peach started.
"Why don't you guys let her have it?" Daisy finished, looking at Mario and Luigi.
"Y-you'll... g-give me b-b-back... my w-wand?" Jojora asked hopefully.
"No. That would be stupid." Mario said, handing the wand to Peach for safe-keeping.
"We'll give you a Bros. Attack instead, cretin!" Luigi said, and he and Mario performed Bounce Bros., knocking Jojora unconscious.
"Good job, boys!" Daisy said as Peach handed the wand back to Mario.
"But we're not done yet." Luigi said.
"What are you going to do, Mario?" Peach asked, seeing that her boyfriend had Jojora's wand at the ready.
"Watch." said Mario. He used Jojora's wand to chain her to a pillar in the room, and made the key appear a few inches away from her. Then he used a spell that made the wand turn invisible, and set it a few feet away from Jojora.
"Now let's-a look around." Mario said, taking Peach's hand. Luigi took Daisy's hand, and they walked around Joke's End.
"I cannot believe the awful things that witch said about you guys!" Daisy said.
"We can't believe how badly the two of you beat her up!" Mario said.
"Mario, there is a limit to how much I can take. When people threaten my friends, especially my boyfriend, they're going to find themselves in the kind of trouble they can't get out of." Peach said.
"And I'm not going to let some little idiot insult the man I love without giving her some sort of punishment for not keeping her mouth shut while she had the chance." Daisy said.
"In fact, that's kind of why we wanted to come here. To prove to that little witch that she was wrong about me and Luigi." Mario said.
"When did you decide that you wanted to do this?" Peach asked.
"The day you suggested we come here." Luigi replied.
"And if we were going to do this at all, then we had to do it today, otherwise we wouldn't have done it." Mario said.
"I can see why you wanted to get back at her. If anyone treated me the way she did you, I'd want to make them regret it, too." Daisy said.
They didn't spend too much time at Joke's End because it was so cold there. When they left, they decided to go back to Gwarhar Lagoon to warm up for the remainder of the day, and to get one last massage from the Jellyfish Sisters so that they'd be completely relaxed when they showed up at Beanbean Castle for dinner.
And so that about wraps things up... or does it? Well, did you see the words 'The End' appear before now? That's right! We've still got one more chapter to go! Stay tuned to see how this story ends!
