Strong (Boy): Yep, it's been a really long time since we done any fanfiction.
Kind (Girl): Yeah… I'm really sorry. I've been out of commission and cousin couldn't start without me. Let's just say life is crappier than we think.
Anyway, the chapter still short but hope you enjoy.

Chapter – 2
It was clear from the beginning; he was still just a child and to go head-on against something so powerful was suicidal. The amount of time that passed by shows the gradual result of his struggle as the burst of strength only falters in time.
"Why fight an evitable battle?"
Yet, despite the circumstances, he has to fight. No matter the obstacle, he has to fight.
"Why struggle for a firm stance? Can you not move to reflect any?"
He can't take one step back because that one step would only bring more struggles or his defeat. Even if he struggles on that spot, he won't falter that one step. No matter the situation, at least that was the mindset he has put on himself.
"Your powers are mediocre but your will… where pray tell did you gain such impervious resolve?"
He wasn't someone even a godly being would know because he knew the thing would never understand his hardship. His will, to be persist was forge not gain and by his very own hands.
He couldn't tell how much time has passed but he wasn't in the mood to care. He fights and held his ground. Never going back but forward, even if it was small. His feeble body of a child was pathetic but his will to press on was insane as if ignoring the pain inflicted from the hordes of replicated beings the thing created was a sinch.
He cuts, he kills. He blocks standing his ground, he lives longer. More and more of his powers manifested; he gains an advantage. He was not in no means ready to be pushed around by the thing that ruined this life for him.
"Your silence, I see. But I believe it's time to end things."
"…"
"….."
"….."
*!*
Taking a few seconds, the being again in the form of one of his many avatars materializes before the boy to kill. Knowing its authority as death was nothing to the strange boy, the thing sends an attack, one with extreme physical force and with an incredible speed that he won't be able to react in time.
*cough*
Blood splatter out of his mouth with a surprised expression. He was flung away from his stance with an incredible force and not to mention the unbelievable pain going throughout every inch of his body.
Across the wasteland he was finally blown off, he only stops from a viewpoint that was not normally possible to see from the start.
"…" The avatars of the thing saw no sign of movement but couldn't sense for life as its authority was still ignored by him despite the incredible force laid.
"He shall die here, the same can be said for the two of you. Though, under my authority of course." One of the replicated avatars was now holding on to the two infants. No disturbance was heard from them as our hero did well in protecting them while fending off hordes of replicated monsters of hollow.
As the avatar of the thing stretched out a limb closer toward the two infants. No noise, no silence, only a slow death was about to be inflicted of the soft breathing of the two infants, "It shall be over soo-!?"
"The hell do you think you're doing?"
It was strange to the being's avatar, the power it held should be enough to proceed and yet. The strength of the angry child's one arm was enough to stop it, it was as if… "Strength within the child is still growing."
*!*
Not time was wasted and with no hesitation, he cuts the arm of the thing's avatar. His blade made up of his power was ever so sharp. Though, he was not able to reach the two infants as the being's avatar made the two quickly materialized further away.
"I ask again, where do you derive such strengths from?"
"…."
Ichigo now stood on the same stance he had defended for hours again but now he was rugged, almost broken, barely hanging by. His white hollow mask slowly cracked down. His attire was now only reduced to his tattered pants and barefooted. Yet, his eyes, his posture told anyone he was still staying strong as ever and he wasn't going to stop anytime soon.
"Still no answer."
*!* Though, he felt he was well on guard. The attack from the thing's avatar still landed and it was just as fast and powerful as the last one.
*!* More landed and yet he could only react to deflect one or two. He was hanging by a thread and this was not good. He was already at his limit of endurance despite the many powers and strength he had on his side.
*!* Barely hanging by the boy desperately counters as much as he can and yet the thing's avatar was barely feeling a pinch of his few attacks. He could only burst out great strength for a fracture of a second at times but the barrage of hits was too much.
He lost his voice to silence, now only grunts of pain and desperation could come out of him. If viewed from a normal perspective, he was already doing an impossible job of handling an avatar of a being that was beyond mortals. But it was different for him, he had to win and can't back down but right now. The feeling of loss was coming to him.
*!*
A sudden huge consecutive hit from the being's avatar blows him off again but this time he used his large spiritual energy blade to stay put. Though, he was still pushed despite the hold his blade had on the ground.
"*huff* *huff*" He was given time to take deep breathes, he didn't think about it as he took in as much as he can.
He knew he had made a mistake but couldn't realize what it was anymore. Even at such a disadvantaged position, he knew could still push further, and yet something really important was missing for him to be unable to give reality to it.
I'm so disappointed Ichigo…
His eyes widen, he finally remembers something important. A few words that which pushed him before, now all coming back one at a time to go further and further to the point of absolute victory.
Why did he forget something like that? It was one of the first things that came out of that man's voice he considers useful. Something that helped him through and through.
*!* Unguarded at his realization, Ichigo was blown off again. Still, he was able to take it much better than before as he didn't grunt nor moan in pain at it. He only stood back up and made his stance again.
"Haha…" He had been fighting all this time, not with just rage and anger. Anger that his life was still a mess in this new world, rage that his newfound family were separated and killed. And yet, after all, that he fought also with fear. That single last thing was his mistake.
*!* He deflected another attack again and his hand along with his blade trembled. He realized that his sword was only exerting fear.
When he attacks, he fears killing. When he tried to protect his siblings, he fears he would let them die.
He realized the only thing his swords speak of was senseless fright. Just like the time he was seriously lectured.
"I can't believe it… really. Was I enjoying myself in this life too much? The bastard would've bothered me on this."
"I do not understand your question?"
"Ha…" Ichigo took a deep breath and took his sword with new vigor. The man now a boy again stares up at the figure of the huge avatar with his usual scowling expression.
He felt much more energized as he discards fear from his sword and his intentions. He felt his sword much bigger and lighter.
*!* He counters and doesn't let any hit go thorough at him. His reaction speed also hypes up. He meets ever-fast hits from the avatar ever-powerful strikes.
*!* He strikes back with a cold heart intention because when he strikes to cut, his cuts will kill. The avatar was hit again and this time it wasn't able to react in time, not to mention the strike cut through its thick defense causing damage.
After his round strike that made damage, Ichigo did not stop as he round up another quick and it was even more powerful than the first.
"Getsuga-Tensho." He whispers with better resolves and no fear.
He was angry, very angry at first when the fight started. But as time is wasted away in this battle, he falters slowly. His voice is pushed back and his rage is being let down. But the realization came to him, things he had forgotten with the dawdling of his fighting skills. One thing that never left him made him, force him to remember those ways.
"And yet again, new-found strength comes. Just how? Your abnormality is astounding." The thing that was still watching from the distance saw one of its avatars again pushed back even further.
"For someone so powerful, you got a lot of questions."
"Then tell me."
"You wanna know huh?" Ichigo disappears using the fastest flash-step he could muster.
"…" The avatar of the thing rose again but this time its torso where it endured his attack was very well damaged, though it did not have the time to think as the boy appears beside it with another attack and stronger than before.
*!* Ichigo strikes down with every strength he could muster in a burst with the addition of his spiritual energy as well as his hollow powers adding into the fray, "It's pure instinct!"
"…"
"….."
"…."
He stood, barely possible due to the hold of his blade. He turns and walks toward the direction of his little siblings.
"…" Once again, he holds onto his two little siblings who were still in a sound asleep state which most surprising was only possible due to the blanket they were bundled into. Something of a magical item, he could tell us it was made by his parents.
*!?*
"And when I protect others," Ichigo again held up in blade just into time to block a hit from the still-standing avatar, "I don't let them die!"
*BOOM!*
His strike this time was the final as he forces his sword down on the limb that he blocked with an incredible spiritual burst of power. His hollow mask also finally broke off after the final strike because he also knew he won.
"…"
*!*
A boy with orange hair suddenly snapped out from a daze as he fell while rubbing his forehead.
"That habit of yours… *sigh*" A man with salmon color hair looks down at his eldest child with a conflicted expression, "What am I going to do with you Ichigo?"
"?" Ichigo stared at the man who was taller than he thought, the same man ruffle his hair and hands him a baby bundled in a warm cloth that almost felt magical.
"Did you have to beat up the whole kids in the village?"
"They were picking on Zeref!" Carefully carrying the baby in his arms, the little boy retorts as he did not feel bad for his action.
"…" The man scratches his head and turns to the side where a woman with black hair was calmly treating the small bruises on a crying child that resembles her. The woman just giggles from the side having fun watching the exchange between her husband and her eldest child.
"I know you're stronger than the average kid and I know you did the right thing defending your little brother. But let's not get impulsive and let things get out of hand."
"They're just jealous that Zeref's the only one in the village who got talent in magic. Why wouldn't I beat them up for being sore losers?" The young boy ignored the dumb folded father as he rocks his youngest sibling on his to sleep.
*smack!*
"…"
"….."
"That hurt, you old man!"
"So?" Feeling triumph, the man smirks at his oldest who was now giving a glare.
"You wanna go at it too?!"
"Big talk, coming from a scrawny brat like you."
*!*
The boy didn't relent and threw an empty baby bottle right into his face.
The father-son bond wasn't exactly as most would expect since this kind of talkback was frequent between the two. One of the few things the two hand in common since while being a good husband and father, the man was sometimes lazy and the son was there to pick up where the man left as a responsible son, well mostly to help the mother of the house.
"Still getting headstrong against your dad huh?!"
"I wouldn't be like this if you just quit being a sissy!"
"That's it you little brat!"
"Bring it, old man!"
The two were now head to head literally, wearing the same annoyed expression and it sure was going to get ugly if it continues. And strangely, the sleeping baby on the boy's arms was still sleeping soundly and it might've been the work of the blanket wrapping him.
"Ichigo, could you head to the market to get more ingredients? I believe we're running out."
"Sure…" Without breaking eye contact with his father, the young boy carefully grabs a strap bag from the wall while also still carrying on to his youngest brother. The boy without question follows his mother's word.
"A-Ah-Ah, I'm coming too!" The younger boy with soft black hair after receiving treatment for his small bruises rushes toward the door and follows his older brother with a frantic demeanor.
"…"
"…"
"Our little Ichigo is such a good older brother, isn't he?"
"I guess… he's stubborn as much as me too."
"Good, you finally admit your flaws too. Hehe…"
"If only those punks in the village stop making up rumors. He wouldn't be so estranged from the other kids his age."
The woman smile softly at her husband who might not know too well how to show caring but instead cared from behind the scene while still being an 'ok' dad.
"Let them think what they want, we both know he is our son despite the different hair color. Which we both know it was because you ate that strange fruit that one time, temporarily turning your hair orange for a month."
"L-let's not go into detail about that day. Can't let the brat know it and getting an edge above me."
"Hehe… if you say so dear."
The young boy, the oldest thin his siblings were normal in every aspect except his hair color was orange while his family had black or salmon color hair. But like the mother said, his hair color was due to the stupid action of the said father who made a really stupid decision one day to eat one such strange fruit.
"*sigh* Even so," the man smirks with a happy toothy grin, "even if… he wasn't our blood. It won't change the fact that he's our son."
*kiss on the cheek*
"That's very sweet dear and I couldn't agree with you more."
Little did the two know, the young boy was still outside with his younger brothers, hearing those words coming out from his parents, the young boy made a small smile. Inside, in a way, he was a relief. Because he knew he wasn't just Ichigo Dragneel, he was also Ichigo Kurosaki. The idea of new parents was a little strange at times until hearing those words.
"Nii-san?"
"Let's go, we got stuff to buy."
"O-Okay!"
….
A hand of the few avatars' held onto the head of the unconscious boy with orange color hair. The boy still unaware of anything was still holding on close to the two bundled on his arm despite his current state.
"Such a pity… a child with such potential would've been a good vassal."
The being controlling its avatars was staring at the unconscious form of the little boy. It was an entity that was still in search of many things and finding one of them only to have it end in such a manner made it disappointed.
"Such a pity."
It saw how firm the boy was and witness it handle the adversity it had thrown at him. And in some way, the boy had earned its curiosity and interest. But seeing how it could not dominate him using authority, the being discards the plan to own him.
*Slash!*
And yet again, another one of the replicated avatars has fallen with a single horizontal slash from the unconscious boy.
"Indeed, your will…"
One of the few replicated avatars spokes and struggles in blocking a fast attack from the boy.
"…is incomprehensible, but in your words, 'Instinct'."
The boy was still standing despite being unconscious, eyes closed, and yet he still fights with incredible strength that does suit that appearance of a young boy.
"Though, this 'trait' is not enough."
Out of nowhere, the replicated avatars started appearing in large numbers and they kept increasing.
"Though, my authority does not touch you. The limits of the mortal body and soul are not eternal."
The being was already in a state of boredom as time passed by watching the interesting boy fought despite being unaware of anything.
"…"
"….."
"I see… it seems it is your fortunate day."
More surprises came as something suddenly came in a whip of a blinding light pulling the boy and his siblings into a portal very different from the being's example.
"Though my authority is unfortunately useless, as a godly being I still can curse you. And thus, may misfortune befall upon you."
Something crept into the young boy who was quickly entering into the white portal with his siblings. It might or might not be a bad thing, only the way things go out will tell.
And done!
This story will have the least harem number. So any suggestion won't be implemented.
See ya!
