Yuna groaned in her sleep and rolled over sleepily, pulling a pillow under her arm. She fell asleep again until she heard her cell, ring. Reaching for the table beside her bed she pulled the phone from the stand knocking it over.
"Umm…hello?" she asked in a tired voice looking over to the clock which showed that it was exactly 1:00am.
"Hey Yuna…did I wake you?"
"Uhh…kinda…that's okay though, something important Tidus?"
There was silence on the other end and, but finally she heard Tidus sigh. Sitting up she pushed the light switch and waited for him to talk.
"What's wrong Tidus?"
"Nothing, forget it, sorry 'bout that baby" he answered but he sounded different.
"Are you lying to me?"
"Yeah, maybe…" Now he definitely sounded different.
"Tidus if you wanna talk or something, just call me up, okay?"
"Yeah, 'kay"
"Love you", she said hesitantly and heard a small reply, and then a click as he hung up.
She switched of the light, straightened her cell phone stand, and plopped her head on the pillow. The sadness in his voice came back to her and she made a vow to talk to him, first thing in the morning. Picking up her iPOD from her bedside she began to twirl its wire between her fingers. This was going to be a long night and Yuna knew it.

In the morning, she changed into white jeans and a tight pink t-shirt, and pulled on her white jacket. Yuna wasn't exactly a fashion freak but she didn't like to be out of style. Tying her hair medium length, brown hair in a small ponytail, she rushed downstairs to dinner. She gulped down her cereal and rushed out the door to drive over to Rikku's house, and found Paine and Gippal, already standing there talking to the blonde girl. Scanning the scene for Tidus, she walked down the driveway receiving a hug from both Rikku and Paine.
"Did any of you see Tidus?" she asked Gippal and he nodded, then shook his head.
"Which one…yes or no?"
"Both", he answered in a bored voice. "I called him, but he hung up pretty quickly…"
Giving a huge sigh she listened as Rikku talked on and on about her new boyfriend. There really was something wrong but Tidus didn't wanna tell anyone. Not even her. Well that wasn't unlike him, she thought. Still her mind fought back and she knew her other side was winning. Tidus at least told her about everything…almost everything. The thought brought tears to her eyes but she didn't want to show them and blinked them away quickly. Tonight she would talk to him, and that was a promise, she told her self.
