It had taken the Z Fighters thirty four days to reach to Planet Namek unfortunately though the moment they arrive the Z fighters immediately sense multiple evil Ki signatures on the planet before they were attack by two aliens who were wearing the same armour as the Saiyan's but they were easily taken care of by Tien and Yamcha. The group decided to use the Dragon Radar to locate the Namekian Dragon Balls which would also led them to some Namekian's and so Tien, Krillin and Gohan left while Yamcha stay behind to protect both Bulma and their spaceship.

Meanwhile a couple miles away from the Z Fighters someone else had arrived on Planet Namek looking for the Dragon Balls and It was none other than the Prince of all Saiyan's Vegeta who after his defeat on Planet Earth had went to one of the planets controlled by the Frieza Force which was call Planet Frieza 79 as like every world that gets conquered by the Frieza Force and if Frieza decides to keep the world for himself it gets renamed after Frieza. After rehabilitation in a Medical Machine that healed all of his injuries and he gain a Zenkai Boost from it Vegeta plan on going to Planet Namek to find out if they also had Dragon Balls.

But before Vegeta could go searching searching for them he was stop by Cui who was an elite soldier that served under Frieza in the Frieza Force and he wasalso a arch-rival to Vegeta where both of them had the same power level until now and Cui told Vegeta that Frieza, Dodoria, Zarbon and a large amount of the Frieza Force were already on Planet Namek looking for the Dragon Balls. Enraged that Frieza had found out about the Dragon Balls as well as Vegeta had wanted to collect them without Frieza knowing so he could obtain immortality so he would be able to kill Frieza so Vegeta demanded to know how did they learn about them to which Cui explained how Frieza learn about them from Nappa's scouter and it was confirmed by a Namekian they had meet Lord Slug.

So Vegeta immediately went a Space Pod and took off straight to Planet Namek despite Cui yelling at him to stop and so Cui got in contract with Frieza telling that him about Vegeta which annoyed Frieza as he knew Vegeta would get in his way to obtain the Dragon Balls so he ordered Cui to go after Vegeta and Cui can freely eliminate him which Cui had wanted to do for quite some time especially after his power level had raised to 19,000 but he couldn't do anything without Frieza's approval. So immediately Cui took a Space Pod and went after Vegeta to Planet Namek where he arrived not long after Vegeta who had made his way to him unfortunately though for Cui though he still thought that Vegeta's power level was still 18,000 forgetting about the Saiyan's unique ability to grow stronger from near death experience which had made Vegeta's power level now 24,000 and so Cui stood no chance against Vegeta who killed him before he went off searching for the Dragon Balls.

It didn't take the Z Fighters long to find a nearby village unfortunately though it was being attack by Frieza and his soldiers and with them were Frieza's top two highest ranking Generals Dodoria and Zarbon as well as Lord Slug much to the other Namekian's and the Z Fighters shock and Frieza forced the Village Elder Moori to hand over their Dragon Ball by threatening the two Namekian children Denda and Cargo. It was then three Namekian warriors came to try and stop Frieza and his men which distracted them long enough to allow Moori to fire a Ki blast which destroyed their scouters, so Frieza ordered his soldiers to attack the Namekian warriors but they prove to be to much for the soldiers so Frieza then ordered Dodoria to end this annoyances however Lord Slug then request Frieza that the Namekian warriors to not be killed promising him that he'll gain something useful from them to which Frieza allow.

So once Dodoria defeated the three Namekian warriors Lord Slug went over to them who were piled on top each other by Dodoria and Lord Slug place his hand on the one on top before performing a twisted version of the Namekian Fusion which was a unique ability that allow one Namekian to absorb the energy, strength, memories and intelligence of another Namekian. Usually both participants must be willingly consent to the fusion however Lord Slug's evil version which was the reason why he was banished from Planet Namek for creating the twisted version as it was different in that regard as Lord Slug can forcefully absorb other Namekian's should his willpower be stronger then theirs and unfortunately for the three Namekian warriors it was.

In a flash of light the three Namekian warriors were gone and Lord Slug was now stronger and he had regain his youth much to Frieza and his men surprise, the Namekian's horror and the Z Fighters shock and after Lord Slug explained what he had done Frieza decided that he no longer needed Moori or the two Namekian children alive as Lord Slug now knows where the remaining Dragon Balls were so he ordered Dodoria to kill them. It was then the Z Fighters decided they needed to help even at the risk so they flew at them and so Tien used his newest technique which was base off the Solar Flare Technique where instead of creating a bright light coming from him which to blind his enemies Tien created a energy sphere which he can fire at his enemies and it explodes near them which blinds them however should they even touch it thinking that it's a normal Ki blast it will go off and Tien name this new technique the Solar Grenade.

Tien fired a Solar Grenade between Dodoria and the Namekian's causing a blinding light and hitting Dodoria away which allow the other Z Fighters who knew what Tien plan on doing had close their eyes to grab Moori or the two Namekian children with Tien grabbing Moori while Gohan and Krillin grab the two Namekian children before taking off immediately. Once they were able to see again Frieza ordered Dodoria to go after them which he did immediately not wanting to anger Frieza and to make the one who blinded and hit him pay and it didn't take Dodoria long to catch to them unfortunately for Dodoria he fell for the Solar Flare when Tien rush at making Dodoria think that he was going to fight him but instead Tien stop right in front of him and performed the technique.

Which blinding Dodoria again allowing Tien to hit him again and the Z Fighters and the Namekian's managed to get away from him however as Dodoria was still blinded he was then attacked again this time by Vegeta who had spotted Dodoria so he attack him and once Dodoria regain his sight and saw Vegeta who still had his scouter he offered if he handed it over to him he'll let Vegeta go however Vegeta chose to crush it instead much Dodoria's anger and confusion. Dodoria then called Vegeta a idiot as a scouter was the only way to locate anyone and check what their power level was however Vegeta correct him by telling him that during his time on Earth he had found out that they could sense energy which Vegeta thought was useful so after his battle he try figure out how to do it himself and while he wasn't perfect at it just yet he has manage to learn how to do it.

Dodoria then try to attack Vegeta however unfortunately though for him as just like Cui had done Dodoria had also forgotten about the Saiyan's unique ability to grow stronger from near death experience and Dodoria's power level was 20,150 meaning he stood no chance against Vegeta. Dodoria immediately began to begging Vegeta for mercy and he even revealed that it was Frieza who was responsible for destroying Planet Vegeta and wiping out most of the Saiyan race however Vegeta revealed that he already knew that Frieza was behind it because Vegeta knew that Frieza was afraid of the rise of the Super Saiyan who would overthrow him.

Vegeta then told Dodoria Frieza was right to be afraid of the Saiyan's as Vegeta was the Saiyan of legend who is going to make Frieza pay for what he has done to the Saiyan race and once Frieza was gone Vegeta will rule the Universe and it was then Dodoria try to fly away back to Frieza however Vegeta wasn't going to allow that to happen as he also hated Dodoria as for years serving in the Frieza Force he had to deal with Dodoria looking down at him so Vegeta fired a energy blast which killed Dodoria.
