Sex, Submission and Blood
Part 2: And Simon Makes Three
"I have a proposal for you, angelito."
Jace was still sleepy, having barely woken up. A pleased, lazy smile spread over his lips as he felt his boyfriend gently kissing his cheek. Rolling over onto his side, he stretched as though he had all the time in the world just for that one motion. Because he enjoyed the way Raphael's eyes would run over his body in appreciation. Not lust, but wonder, as though he was marveling at having Jace. The way Raphael made him feel, so cherished and wanted...
"Mh... These usually end very pleasant for me," whispered Jace. "What kind of proposal?"
"I've done some thinking," Raphael ran his hand over Jace's side, tracing his ribs. "You said you miss being touched sexually. And I was thinking... I do enjoy watching you in the throws of pleasure... What if we take someone home for you?"
"What. No. What," Jace quickly sat up, staring at his boyfriend in surprise. "I told you, I don't need sex. I'm not going to... cheat on you. I want to be with you."
A smile tugged on Raphael's lips as he reached out to cup his boyfriend's cheek. "Beloved, I didn't suggest for you to cheat on me. I suggested that we take someone home with us, for you."
"...I think I need you to elaborate?" Jace frowned curiously at the vampire.
"We go out, together, and find someone... who appeals to you sexually and whom I would approve of too. If they consent, we take them to the hotel with us and you... can have sex with them, while I watch," Raphael's fingers ghosted over Jace's side, making the blonde shudder. "We will never take someone with us twice. No attachment. No romance. They are strictly there for your pleasure. Your heart is mine, even if I don't mind sharing your body."
"Are... Are you sure about that?" Jace sounded curious and intrigued. "If you are only suggesting that for me, I'm telling you, I don't need it. I just need you, Raph."
"And I truly appreciate that," Raphael smiled gently, pressing a kiss against Jace's cheek. "Even if you do not need it, I think you would want it. I can see that the idea appeals to you."
Jace flushed, shifting to hide his hard-on. "Fine, you got me there. I do miss having sex with someone else aside from my right hand. And... the thought of you watching... mh... I like that. Only if you actually, truly do not mind. Because I've had threesomes and... more... in the past. Taking another sexual partner wouldn't be new to me. I like it a lot, actually. I just... I don't..."
"It was my idea, amor," Raphael cupped Jace's face. "We will pick together and we can... give it a try, for now. It it is weird or feels wrong to either of us, we can still change our minds."
"Okay," Jace nodded slowly. "Let's try this, together."

"You're in a good mood today," Alec raised a suspicious eyebrow at him.
Isabelle was putting on a white wig while Jace was fastening his boots. They were getting ready for a mission and yes, Jace couldn't help but smile pleased. He turned to look at his parabatai.
"A proper mission, not just patrol. It's been a while. I miss the action. Raph is going to meet us at Pandemonium and, if we wrap this early, I still have date night to look forward to."
"I still can't believe that you are in a committed relationship," Isabelle grinned teasingly.
Jace flushed and turned toward her. No argument there. He couldn't believe it either. He'd been with Raphael for over a year now and they were still happy. They had occasional fights, because Jace was bad with emotions and sometimes, he pushed away instead of letting in, but Raphael was old and had learned patience over the decades. He knew not to give up on Jace. A few months ago, they had agreed on taking sexual partners home with them. There was a thrill to it, Jace loved putting on a show for his boyfriend, he loved the praise, loved when the chosen partner of the night was into letting Raphael take charge. Having Raphael direct what they're doing. Not everyone was ready to give up command like that, many just accepted Raphael watching quietly. The two were always up front about the voyeurism angle and about the fact that this was a one-night-stand.
"I can't believe that Raphael managed to convince Jace to take an actual vacation for their one year anniversary," commented Alec with one arched eyebrow.
Ah, yes. That weekend the two of them had spent in Mexico. Jace's ears turned red at the memory. It had taken a lot of convincing on Raphael's part, because Alec was right. Duty came first. Jace never took off. But one year seemed like something worth celebrating.
"Well, let's get this mission over quickly then, so Jace can go on his date," Izzy grinned teasingly.
She straightened her wig and the three of them left together for a night that was going to change their lives forever, because they were about to meet Clary Fray and Simon Lewis.

Simon's life got turned upside down on the night of his best friend's eighteenth birthday. First she started talking to people who weren't even there, then she got abducted, the Fray apartment was completely trashed when he got there to check on her, both Jocelyn and Clary were just gone.
And it got worse after that, which in itself was ridiculous. The invisible people Clary talked to were actually real, among them an insanely sexy and snarky blonde who kept pushing Simon's buttons. Not that Simon got to focus much on his conflicting feelings (annoyance and attraction) for Jace, because all of a sudden, Simon was the one abducted. Abducted by vampires.
From thereon, Simon was too distracted by himself and his own situation, because he was slowly turning into a vampire and feeling as though he was losing his mind along the way. This was so outside of anything possible, how was Simon supposed to deal with any of this...?
"Simon, please calm down," Clary sounded so worried.
But Simon couldn't focus on her. Everything was too much. There was so much going on around him, his senses were heightened so much. His head hurt, there were so many sounds around him. Suddenly, someone grasped him by the shoulders, stopping him before he could speed off again, because he had no control on his speed just yet. He just wanted to walk, but couldn't.
"Relax," the voice was very soothing. "I'm Raphael. We haven't met officially yet, but I'm part of the local vampire clan. I can help you learn, okay?"
Simon made a distressed little noise. He was so overwhelmed with everything. This handsome guy was offering him to help and Simon was more than ready for someone to guide him. Slowly, he nodded, allowing Raphael to bring him back to the vampire hide-out.
"It's okay. Camille is... gone. After what she did to you, she is no longer leader of the clan," informed Raphael as they entered a suite. "This is going to be your place, okay? I'm living just down the hall. You can come to me with any problem you might have. For now, you should... rest. I'll start teaching you to control your urges and powers tomorrow, okay?"
All Simon could do was nod slowly. Rest actually sounded good. His head ached so much, all that noise everywhere. He looked down at his hands, seeing the dirt and blisters from having clawed his way out of his own grave. He frowned, turning his hands over.
"I'll... draw you a bath first, okay?" Raphael's voice was gentle. "It might also help you relax."
Again, Simon nodded. He allowed Raphael to lead the way, his mind too distracted with everything that had happened, trying to process. He was grateful, in the depth of his mind, for Raphael's help.

Simon essentially didn't leave his suite. Raphael taught him to control his hunger first. Feeding regularly was the most important thing here. If he drank enough blood, he wouldn't feel like biting every pulsing neck he encountered. It was gross and he hated it, it took him time to actually get used to having to drink blood and he tried hard not to think about what it was.
"Hey, Raphael, are you busy?" Simon knocked on Raphael's door.
The older vampire had become a mentor and just perhaps even something like a friend. He'd helped Simon so much. And now that Simon was more in control of his cravings, Raphael had been teaching him how to control his strength. It wouldn't do if he just destroyed things by accident, after all. Another thing Raphael had mentioned was to teach him how to fight and to defend himself, though Simon did not feel ready to learn that just yet. What he did feel like was hanging out though. But Clary was a person with a pulse and Simon was still afraid he might lose control around her, besides she was very busy doing whatever it was her and the Shadowhunters were doing.
"Hello, Simon. Raph's not here yet, he's still doing clan-leader things."
"...Jace?" Simon frowned in confusion, staring at the Shadowhunter. "Why are you here?"
"Oh, wow. It really hasn't even come up yet, huh?" Jace smiled bemused. "I'm Raph's boyfriend."
"...What?" Simon stared at Jace as though the blonde had grown a second head.
Jace rolled his eyes at him and now that they stood this close, now that Simon's senses, including his sight, were heightened, he really noticed Jace's eyes for the first time. Noticed the heterochromia in them. He hadn't gotten a close enough look yet to see that corner of brown in that sea of blue.
"Raphael, your clan-leader, he's my boyfriend," Jace spoke slowly.
"I heard you. I just have a hard time understanding the meaning of those words," it was Simon's turn to roll his eyes now. "Raphael is so sophisticated, kind, clever. And you're..."
"Wow. Thank you," Jace glared at him over his shoulder as he headed toward the kitchen. "I know Raph's out of my league, didn't need some random mundie turned fledgling to tell me."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that," Simon felt guilty. "I don't even know you."
"Well, there's a fact for a change," Jace paused as he reached the stove and continued what he must have been doing before opening the door. "You wanted something specific from Raph? Because we have date-night planned and if you take up hours with whatever you want, I'd like to adjust."
That was the point where Simon noticed Jace was wearing an apron. And that he was cooking. The blonde looked weirdly domestic, in a manner Simon had never imagined before. Jace was a warrior, a soldier. That's how he had met the Shadowhunter so far. Every time Raphael dragged Simon outside, to participate in this supposed war, Simon saw Jace and the Lightwoods and they radiated warrior energy. Everything Clary had told him when they spoke – mostly on the phone, because Simon still didn't trust himself fully – she would talk about them that way too.
"This is weird," commented Simon without meaning to.
"You, interrupting my preparations for date-night with my boyfriend? Yes, it is."
"No, you... making preparations for a date-night," Simon motioned vaguely. "You're wearing an apron. You're cooking. I don't know, I've never thought about you doing anything but... train to harden your abs, or whatever. Not being so... so... so domestic."
"Hate to break it to you, but despite my hardened reputation and my hardened abs, I am actually just human too," Jace smirked at him mockingly. "I eat, for that I cook. I watch movies with my boyfriend. Bake cookies for his sister. We have game-night with my siblings too, actually."
"Bizarre," Simon grunted and sat down on the couch.
"So. What is it that you wanted? That question hadn't been rhetorical, you know."
"Nothing. Just... spending time with someone," Simon started fidgeting with his hands. "I'm not really used to being alone. I get bored easily. I thought he might..."
"Have you considered just calling your best friend?" Jace turned to give him a pointed glare. "Clary's worried about you. She's staying at the Institute and sure, she's befriended Izzy, but she worries about you. She feels guilty because she made the call to turn you into a vampire."
"I told her I don't blame her," Simon groaned and leaned his head back against the couch.
"Over the phone. Not when hanging out as friends. Call your best friend, Lewis."
"Amor, I'm home!" Raphael interrupted them as he entered the suite.
"Dinner is nearly ready, babe. I used your sister's recipe," called Jace back.
Despite having just heard from Jace that the two of them were dating, Simon was still startled to actually see them kiss. The way Raphael wrapped a casual arm around Jace's waist, pulling him closer. How Jace willingly moved toward him, being drawn in by the vampire in a fluid motion. They tilted their heads and kissed, a gentle brush of lips. After, Jace rested his head against Raphael's chest. It looked so intimate and Simon felt like an intruder.
"Did you have a hard day, angelito?" Raphael's voice was softer than Simon had ever heard it.
Jace grumbled in confirmation, burying himself more into his lover. "We were mostly just... staking out. No actual action. Just walking and hiding hunched over. Very annoying. I definitely could use a massage, if my amazing boyfriend would offer..."
"You know I can never deny you, my love," Raphael chuckled, resting his chin on Jace's head.
This was so startling to witness for Simon and it opened his eyes to the fact that he truly did not know Jace Wayland at all and the superficial impression he had gotten of Jace out there, doing his job, had very little to do with the real Jace that the blonde seemed to show around the people he loved. It nearly made Simon feel envious. He wanted to get to know this Jace too.
"I should... go and leave you to your date," Simon cleared his throat and got up.
It was as though Raphael only noticed him now, like he had been too distracted by his boyfriend to notice anything or anyone else. The older vampire looked at him in surprise but nodded slowly.
/break\
Jace was grinning like a maniac when Simon pinned him against the wall. This should not turn him on as much as it did, but the former mundie still had a pretty short fuse and Jace knew exactly how to push his buttons. And Jace enjoyed pushing his buttons. Mostly because he enjoyed the outcome. Simon was so polite and sweet all the time, but when he got annoyed, he could be bossy, pushy, he would even go about manhandling Jace. Jace loved being manhandled.
"Why are you like this?" Simon growled as he pushed off him.
Aw, how disappointing. Jace tilted his head and followed Simon. The two of them were working together today. The ongoing war forced them to split up on occasion and things between Jace and his parabatai were currently a little tense because of everything following Clary.
"Raph's theory is that I crave punishments," Jace shrugged casually.
Simon actually stumbled at that and stared at Jace with fire-red ears, very much understanding the innuendo. Jace grinned in an unapologetic way as he continued on, the fledgling vampire following him after a moment of surprised confusion.
"You... I..." Simon paused and shook his head. "No. Never mind. More than I should know."
The first time it had happened, it had actually been an accident. Him and Simon had actually been arguing and the fledgling's fuse was still very short because he wasn't used to his new reality. Or his own strength. So Jace had ended up pinned against the wall and oh boy had he been turned on. He really did like being manhandled. Since then, he'd been looking at Simon differently. Yes, the nerd was cute enough, but actually... he was pretty hot too. Jace started looking at Simon with desire, imagining what the former mundie would be like in bed.
"Mh, it figures," Jace nodded slowly. "You're probably a virgin, so it would overwhelm you to hear about mine and Raph's superior sex-life. It might also be too complicated for you."
"First of all, fuck you, I'm not a virgin," Simon glared at him annoyed as he caught up with the blonde. "Secondly, Raphael is actually my friend, so I don't need to hear about his love-life. Thirdly, how in the world could your love-life be 'too complicated', what does that even mean."
"Well, that's a contradictory statement," Jace raised one eyebrow. "Either you don't want to hear about our sex-life, or you want to know what 'too complicated' means. Besides, I guess that that's a thing for Raph to answer anyway. Not mine to tell."
He shrugged casually, grinning to himself. Hopefully, this would make the vampire curious enough so he'd go and ask Raphael and maybe that'd be enough to make Raphael see the genius of this plan. Raphael was still skeptical about this, since he was now clan-leader and inviting a member of their clan into their bed might potentially be problematic. But then, it wouldn't be the first time of them doing that either. Jace hoped he could make Raphael see reason, because he wanted Simon.
/break\
Simon was so embarrassed as he kept side-eyeing Raphael. Yes, Jace had made him curious. But Jace was also a bastard who lived to torment Simon, so there was no trusting his word. He might have just said that to mess with Simon's head. It was still hard to believe that this cocky bastard was the brother of his sweet and loving best friend Clary.
"What is it, Simon? Your fidgeting and awkward staring is getting a little irritating."
"I'm sorry," Simon ducked his head. "It's something your... boyfriend... said."
"You don't always have to say that with so much skepticism. He is my boyfriend."
Raphael sounded amused as he lifted his glass of red wine up to his own lips. The two of them were on the balcony of Raphael's suite. Because Jace was busy with a bonding dinner at Luke's to get closer to his kind of stepfather and his new sister.
"That's still a bit strange to wrap my head around," admitted Simon. "I have seen the two of you together and... it's very different from the way he is, well..."
"The way he is on a literal battlefield?" Raphael raised a disbelieving eyebrow. "You surely must realize that for a soldier to do his work, to keep this world safe, he can't be soft out there. That's... why he has me, and his siblings, to be... himself with."
"Right," Simon averted his eyes, actually a little embarrassed to have said that now. "I know that. I just.. he is such a bastard around me? He always provokes me, it's infuriating."
"It's because he craves punishment," Raphael sounded factual, nearly dismissive.
Simon made a distressed noise. "He said the same thing and I don't know if I want to ask."
"Tell me when you decided," offered Raphael casually. "More blood?"
Grunting in agreement, Simon accepted. "Okay, fine. I'll bite. Why does your boyfriend think that your love-life would be 'too complicated' for me to grasp."
To his surprise did Raphael start chuckling softly. "I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing at my very predictable lover. I would guess that he only said that to rattle you."
"Because your boyfriend is an asshole," Simon glared, before straightening up. "I'm sorry!"
"No, you are quite right," Raphael smiled playfully. "That's intentional, Simon."
"That makes no sense," complained Simon with a groan.
"You've been around the group long enough, I'm sure you heard about his father."
"...Yeah. When Clary and Jace found the guy. She told me about it, told me the... story about the falcon. Very disturbing stuff," Simon made a face at the memory.
Raphael looked at him with guarded but soft eyes, his voice dropping to a whisper. "So you know he's been abused literally half his life. He's been trained and raised to become a soldier. Being tough, being an asshole, joking and taking things lightly, that's how he survived."
That actually gave Simon pause. He... hadn't considered that, for some reason. Jace was an abuse victim and a child soldier. Surely that had included not being openly affectionate and soft toward strangers – which Simon was. He hadn't exactly made an effort to befriend Jace, so what reason did Jace have to drop his walls? With furrowed brows did Simon take a slow drink from his blood.
"Okay, but on the risk of learning more than I want to: What did he mean about your sex-life being too complicated?" Simon leaned forward. "I am kind of curious to know what it means...?"
"Fair enough," Raphael hummed softly to himself, shaking the wine-glass in his hand slowly. "I am asexual. Which means I don't experience sexual attraction. I am in love with Jace, even if I don't feel the desire to have sex with him. I'm also sex-repulsed – there are asexuals who don't mind having sex even though they don't feel attraction to others."
"I am so confused right now," Simon grunted softly to himself. "I mean, not about you being ace, I know about asexuality, but about... your... sex life with Jace, if you're sex-repulsed?"
"I think now you understand why he called it complicated," Raphael smiled, mischievously so. "I don't want to partake in sex, but... mh, Jace is beautiful when he unravels. The way he arches his body, the noises he makes as he's on the verge of release, the way his muscles flex, his hair loose and soaked in sweat, clinging to his face... and oh, the pretty faces he makes... It's like watching art, Simon. I am enthralled by the beauty of it, even if I don't want to be the direct cause for it."
"So... you... watch?" Simon raised his eyebrows.
"I watch," Raphael nodded in confirmation. "I used to watch Jace masturbate. But... touching yourself is different than being touched by someone else. So we started inviting... others, into our bed. One-night-stands, to bring Jace pleasure. And I watch."
"And... you... don't get... jealous?" asked Simon surprised.
"Of what?" Raphael looked at him genuinely confused.
"Of someone else, touching your boyfriend, sharing something with him that Jace enjoys...?"
"I... don't see a reason for jealousy," replied Raphael, tilting his head thoughtfully. "This isn't something I enjoy, this isn't something I desire. If it were, perhaps. But... I don't want to participate in the act, so I don't feel jealous of someone who does. And... it's just sex. For Jace too. He has separated romance and sex for years now. He's never been in a romantic relationship before, he only had casual sex, with no feelings involved. This is just the same. He has casual sex, with people he has no feelings for. I hold his heart, even if they touch his body. I have something none of them will ever have, I have Jace's love and it means so much more than what they get. Besides, I do enjoy seeing Jace in the throws of pleasure, I reap the benefits of that too. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement, that we have, that both of us, and any third party we invite, consensually agreed to."
Simon blinked repeatedly. He wasn't really sure about that. If his lover had sex with someone else, he would definitely feel jealous. But then he also wanted to have sex with his lover himself. To Raphael, this might be like... any other physical activity shared? Like going jogging or sparring with someone who wasn't Raphael? Maybe? Simon slowly drank from his glass.
"Besides, I do participate, in a manner," Raphael smiled slyly. "More often than not, we pick those who don't mind taking... my orders." Simon looked at him confused, prompting Raphael to continue. "I do enjoy a good relationship based on dominance, submission and trust. I'm a dom, Jace is a... very eager sub. That is a relationship we sometimes share with someone else too, where I order them what to do, where to touch, when to do something. Jace loves it and so do I."
A high-pitched noise escaped Simon as his brain crashed. Jace submitting? Now that, he had a hard time believing. He blinked excessively as he tried to process that and tried not to picture it. Which proved to be impossible, because thoughts of that cocky grin of Jace's, that bratty attitude-
"Oh crap, that is what he meant with craving punishments?!" Simon sputtered.
"Yes. He takes very well to a good spanking," Raphael hummed, a dark, threatening sound.
Very flustered did Simon slip down lower in his seat, covering his face. "I don't know what to say."
"I lied earlier," admitted Raphael after a few moments of silence, making Simon look up at him in confusion. "When I said that Jace told you to mess with you. That is certainly true, but it's not his entire reason. He told you to pique your curiosity, because he wants you interested in our sex life. Because he wants you in our bed and he's been not so subtly nudging me about it for a while now."
"What?" Simon started laughing uncontrollably. "Jace wanting me? Sexually?"
Now it was Raphael's turn to frown in confusion. "Hm. Interesting. So you haven't picked up on his blatant flirting at all yet? All the little smiles he has, the way he focuses his attention on you, picks you out to tease you to get a reaction out of you, none of that...?"
Slowly, Simon's laughter died and he stared at Raphael a little dumbly. "Are you... serious?"
"Yes, quite," Raphael arched one eyebrow at him. "You are an exceptionally attractive guy, Simon. Surely you must be aware of that. And Jace is a man of great taste."
"But you said he's been nudging you for a while, so you oppose to it...?" Simon narrowed his eyes.
"You are a new member of my clan, I'm your leader. I have been your mentor for these past weeks. I don't want you to feel obligated to do anything you don't want and I don't want to make your stay at the Dumort uncomfortable," Raphael slowly put his glass down. "But I have come to realize that it's your choice too and you should have a say in it too. So... Now you know all there is. Jace wants to have sex with you, I wouldn't oppose to watching you. Whether I... direct, is up to you."
Simon simply stared at him wide-eyed. He liked Jace. Sure, Jace infuriated him, but in a certain way. He couldn't shake the thought of Jace in the throws of pleasure, as Raphael put it. And he wouldn't mind being the one to put him in that state. Simon shifted slowly as he felt himself growing hard the more he thought about it. Just sex. No strings attached.
"So... you would... want to direct? Tell us what to do?" Simon looked up curiously.
"There will be safewords. If you don't want anything, you can stop it at any time."
"This is crazy, I should say no to this," muttered Simon. "But yes."
Raphael smiled slyly as he got his phone out. "I'm texting Jace. He should be here soon."
True to Raphael's prediction, it only took Jace two minutes to come stumbling through a portal with a wild look. Simon would love to know what Jace told Magnus to make him open a portal for this. A pleased grin split Jace's lips as he walked over to them and slid onto Raphael's lap, nosing his boyfriend's cheek. Raphael turned to kiss his boyfriend gently, making Jace smile.
"You convinced him," whispered Jace. "You always know what to get a guy."
"You know me, angelito. I'll give you anything you want," replied Raphael softly.
"I'm still skeptical about the part where you want to have sex with me," commented Simon.
"Don't be stupid. You're hot," Jace turned to frown at him pointedly. "So... bedroom?"
Simon rolled his eyes, though he also found himself grateful for Jace's directness, because small talk seemed so mundane and out of place right now. Jace was the first one up and Simon found himself following him toward the bedroom, his eyes on Jace's ass.
"Eyes on the prize, I see," commented Jace as he looked over his shoulder.
"It's a... very... attractive prize," replied Simon flustered.
Jace laughed brightly and turned around to face him. He wrapped his arms around Simon, pulling him into a deep, filthy kiss. Simon hadn't expected kissing Jace would be like that. He was rock-hard by the time they parted, both panting even though Simon didn't need to breath anymore. The way Jace looked after just one deep kiss, his lips red and shiny with spit, his eyes half-lid and cheeks flushed. His hair was messy because Simon had been running his fingers through it.
"You're so hot," whispered Simon in awe. "I want you so badly."
"Mh... happy to hear that," Jace grinned lazily and leaned in to kiss him.
"Ah, amor," Raphael interrupted him by wrapping his fingers around Jace's throat, holding it in a loose but symbolic manner. "Simon has expressed interest in handing me the reigns."
"Oh," there was a flash of arousal in those mismatched eyes. "Did you explain the rules yet, sir?"
The smirk on Raphael's lips was razor-sharp. "The safeword we use is Clave. What we're doing can end at any moment, Simon. Until it does, you will do as I say. If you want to do something to my love, you ask my permission first. I tell you what to do and when to do it, you obey. Understood?"
"Yes... uh, sir," Simon felt flustered but also surprisingly aroused. "I've never done... this before."
"It's okay, we'll be with you," whispered Jace reassuringly.
"Good," Raphael hummed pleased. "Then why don't you two undress each other? Slowly."
Jace licked his lips as he grabbed Simon's shirt and pulled it over the vampire's head. He made a pleased noise as he took in shirtless Simon, flustering the vampire even more. There was desire burning in Jace's eyes and it felt amazing to be the person it was directed at. With shaky hands did Simon return the favor, tossing the shirt away and staring hungrily at Jace's chest. On instinct did he lean in, intend to touch, but then he heard Raphael make a disagreeing noise. Simon stopped.
"What did we just say? I call the shots. I told you what to do. If you want to do something else, you have to ask permission first, Simon," the authority dripping from Raphael's voice was so hot.
Simon swallowed hard as he reevaluated his kinks. "I want to lick his runes. I really want that."
"Mh... that sounds like a very nice idea, but first finish undressing him, mh?"
"Yes, sir," Simon fidgeted with Jace's pants before pulling them off. "You're..."
Not wearing underwear. Jace grinned impishly at that before he unbuttoned Simon's own pants. He slowly pulled them down, going into his knees in the process. Simon swallowed hard as he had Jace on his knees like that, looking up at Simon from beneath his lashes.
"Isn't he pretty on his knees?" asked Raphael amused. "I love him like that too."
"Yes... very pretty... But... you said I could touch him when he's naked and he's naked now."
"Ah. That's true and I'm a man of my word. Jace, be a good boy, lay on the bed."
Jace reluctantly got off the ground and onto the bed, laying down on his back. A small noise escaped Simon as Jace just casually spread his legs in invitation, showing off his hard cock.
"Well then. You wanted to lick his runes, now's your chance to," Raphael sounded like he was having a lot of fun with this. "Don't touch the parabatai-rune though. It's a golden rule."
"Alec can feel me more... directly... through our connection if you do," offered Jace.
"Oh yeah no I do not want him to know what I'm doing to you I think he'd stake me."
That got him a laugh from Jace and a chuckle from Raphael and before they could have any more fun at the expense of Simon's fear of Alec, he sat down between Jace's legs and leaned over him. He rested his hands on either side of Jace's body. For a moment, he marveled at the view, before diving right in. Slowly, he kissed Jace's neck, trailing kisses along the neck-rune. From thereon, he worked his way down. His lips, tongue and teeth worked on every rune, causing Jace to arch his back and moan. Raphael had been right, the noises Jace made were amazing. Low, needy, wanton, beautiful.
"My love, why don't you turn around and show Simon the pretty jewelry, mh?"
Simon frowned confused and sat down properly, watching how Jace rolled onto his belly and sat up on all four. Simon swallowed hard as he saw the red jewel poking out between Jace's cheeks.
"My good boy has been wearing this all day today," explained Raphael. "We do like to play these games on some days. Today, that was perfect timing, I'd say. Simon... why don't you make sure that our good boy here is properly prepped? The plug might loosen him up a little, but he is very tight."
Wetting his lips, Simon reached for the jewel. "So... you want me... to fuck... Jace?"
"Honestly I thought that one was clear from the get-go," Jace turned to look at him surprised.
He had pulled a pillow beneath his face, was hugging it as he turned his face to look at him. That was one hell of a view, seeing Jace like this, ass up in invitation, looking at him eagerly.
"I kind of assumed you were a top," admitted Simon.
"Sometimes, with certain partners, sure. But I do like to give up control too. And I really want you to fuck me, Simon. If that's something you want too," Jace looked at him curiously.
"No, yeah, definitely," Simon swallowed and grasped the jewel to pull it out.
Jace gasped surprised, arching his body. The blonde's hole was dark-pink from the penetration of the plug, shiny with lube and gaping in invitation. Raphael had told him to prep Jace and who was Simon to deny that? No, wait. He needed more lube. Frowning, he looked around.
"The right nightstand, the upper drawer," offered Raphael. "Lube and condoms."
Nodding in a jerky, nervous manner, Simon reached for the nightstand and pulled the desired items out. He put the condom on and spread lube on his hard cock and his fingers. Biting his lower lip, he reached for Jace's hole that was offered to him so readily. In gentle motions did he circle it with a finger. A cute little mewling escaped Jace's lips. Simon blinked repeatedly and then circled the hole again, trying to get another one of those mewling sounds.
"You make cute sounds," Simon sounded completely baffled.
"He does," confirmed Raphael, a pleased note to his voice. "I told you his sounds are divine."
"But I thought, you know, sexy or dark moans or something, not... cute."
"I'll have you know that I am very cute," Jace looked at him with a pout.
An actual, honest to god pout. And it was adorable. Simon blinked some more, trying to process.
"Yes, you are," agreed Simon at that and leaned down to place a kiss on Jace's left butt-cheek.
The brightest flush colored Jace's face at that and the blonde tried to bury his face in the pillow to hide it, which in itself was also cute. Damn it. That much for the asshole persona, huh? Finally, Simon slipped a finger into Jace. He was a little loose from the plug, sucking Simon's finger right in. But when he added a second finger, he noticed that yes, Jace was quite tight. A whimper came from Jace and the Shadowhunter pushed back against Simon's fingers needfully.
"It's quite alright, you can add more. You don't have to wait so long, he likes when it burns a little."
Despite Raphael's words, Simon turned to check in with Jace, just to make sure. The blonde's eyes were dark and there was a small smile on his lips as he nodded in confirmation. Okay. Okay, Simon could do that. He added a third finger, his motions becoming more rough as he pumped his fingers in and out of Jace's hole, spreading them to spread him. As a reward did the sounds become louder.
"Tell him what you think," instructed Raphael. "He gets sweetly flustered if you praise and compliment him. You wouldn't expect that, with how self-aware he is of his good looks. But genuine praise and compliments, he doesn't quite know how to handle that."
"Raph, stop teasing me," Jace whined embarrassed.
"You sound so beautiful," whispered Simon, finally finding Jace's prostate. "Listen to you moan, it's gorgeous. And I love the way you blush, it's so cute, look at you."
Jace seemed to unravel even more at his words, his sounds becoming more desperate and his body nearly boneless beneath Simon. Slowly growing desperate himself, Simon turned toward Raphael.
"Please," Simon croaked out. "I need to... I really need to fuck him."
"You beg quite prettily yourself, Simon," noted Raphael. "So I'll grand your wish. Go ahead."
"Thank you, sir," Simon heaved a relieved sigh.
He pulled his fingers out of Jace, which made the blonde whine in protest. Grinning a little to himself, Simon leaned over Jace's body and kissed his shoulder just as he lined up his cock with the blonde's hole. He pushed in slowly and it took all of his self-control, because Jace was so tight and sucking him in so well. But Simon wanted to enjoy every second of this.
"Jace," that one name carried an order somehow, though Simon didn't know what it was.
"Feels good," ah, the order to tell Raphael if he liked it, then. "He's... thicker than I expected. Stretching me so well. I just wish he'd use his vampire-strength to his advantage."
Simon made a curious little noise as he bottomed out, while Raphael chuckled knowingly. "My love likes being manhandled. It's why he always provokes you into pinning him against a wall. What do you say, Simon, do you think you can... use your strength to your advantage?"
Simon thought for a moment, before he rolled them over and then hoisted Jace up with ease, turning the blonde so he was sitting on Simon's lap – on Simon's cock – facing him. Jace smiled lazily and pleased as he was lifted up and down by strong hands, Simon's fingers digging into Jace's hips.
"You are so annoying, Fray," commented Simon irritated, fucking Jace harder.
"W... What?" Jace sounded startled and it took him a moment to react to the name.
"You. You can't just say what you want, you have to push my buttons. You couldn't just say 'Simon, I really want you to fuck me, just pin me against the wall and have your way with me', you had to drag this out into weeks of weird wall-pushing foreplay," Simon glared at the blonde.
That got him a laugh out of both Raphael and Jace, though this time, he wasn't having it, not from Jace. He sat up on his knees, Jace still impaled on his cock, holding the blonde by his firm ass. Then he leaned forward, laying Jace out beneath himself. He grasped the Shadowhunter's legs to place them over his shoulder, bending the blonde a little for better access, before he fucked into him again, in a punishing pace, using his vampire speed and strength to really fuck him into the mattress until Jace was a wantonly moaning mess, melting beneath him.
"I like weird wall-pushing foreplay," offered Jace breathlessly. "I'm close-"
"Not yet, my love," Raphael's voice was firm. "Wait until Simon is ready too. Simon?"
"Just... Just a little more," Simon groaned, burying himself deep inside Jace. "Yes, yes I'm-"
"Good. Then you're allowed to come, both of you."
Somehow, having Raphael allow him to come made it all the hotter and made him come nearly instantly, harder than he had come in a long time. Jace came all over his own chest too, at the same as Simon. Simon rode both their orgasms out before pulling out of the blonde and collapsing right next to the Shadowhunter. After a moment did Jace roll over and curl against him, resting his head on Simon's chest. Oh. So Jace was cuddly too? Blinking, Simon wrapped his arm around Jace's shoulders to pull him closer, his fingers gently running over Jace's upper arm.
"Very good," praised Raphael as he suddenly sat down with them with a wet towel. "Come on, angelito, let me clean you up before you ruin the sheets. Simon, if you would please toss the condom and clean up some too, mh? I like these sheets."
Raphael gently cleaned up Jace's chest while Simon got rid of the condom and tossed it into the bin in the corner. Somehow, it made Simon blush when Raphael folded the towel so he could use the clean side to very gently clean up Simon. Once he was done, he threw the towel onto the ground and laid down on Jace's other side, spooning his boyfriend and kissing his shoulder.
"I knew you would be good in bed," commented Jace contently.
"Really? I thought you thought I was some clueless virgin," Simon lowered a glare.
"Like riling you up, Si. You must really catch on with that," Jace sighed and closed his eyes, snuggling more comfortably between the two. "Shush now. Nap time."
"He's really adorable," commented Simon with a fond, small smile.
"He is, I told you so," Raphael chuckled. "You, rest too, Simon."

Raphael had been right all along. Things got awkward after they had sex. Simon would throw them both longing glances and Raphael's vampire-nose picked up on Simon's increased arousal around Jace and also around Raphael. Particularly when Raphael was fully owning his position as clan-leader, barking out orders. Right now, Raphael was leaning against the door of the Institute's gym.
"Are you... jealous?" Isabelle sounded curious as she joined him.
"Whatever makes you think that? You know me. I am sure in my relationship with Jace."
He didn't even look away from his love. Jace was on the mats, sparring with Simon. After their one-night-stand, Jace first offered Simon to train him. Made sure Simon could actually fight and defend himself, with technique and not just raw vampire-strength. They made it look more like foreplay.
"You sometimes came by to watch Jace train, but... rarely. Ever since Jace started training Simon, I could set my clock for your visits, Raphael," Isabelle raised her eyebrows at him. "Makes a girl wonder if you are jealous of Simon for rolling around sweaty and half-naked with Jace. Normally, you're not jealous, but normally, it's just sex. And it doesn't take a genius to see the looks those two share. They've grown more... gentle... with each other. Jace is letting Simon in."
"Mh. You're right with your observations," admitted Raphael. "However, you're... neglecting the fact that I have let Simon in too. And that... I have been gentle with Simon too."
"This is starting to sound interesting. Where is this going, Raphael?"
"That is precisely what I'm trying to figure out too," Raphael sighed softly.
"Well. Keep me updated on this," Isabelle nudged him gently. "But don't wait too long. Simon is very cute and sweet. It's not like he doesn't have any suitors himself."
Raphael hummed in acknowledgment. He was aware of that. Still, this was important and Raphael didn't want to rush it, didn't want to ruin it. Simon had fit in with them in the bedroom quite well. Better than most of their regular one-night-stands. And there was the emotional angle too. The connection they shared, it felt so much deeper ever since. Because they had a much deeper understanding of each other since that night and had built a different kind of trust.
"Ra—aph. You're here," Jace sounded happy as he ran up to him and kissed his cheek.
"And you're sweaty," commented Raphael. "Go get showered so we can head out for dinner."
Jace nodded and ran off, waving at Simon on his way out. Simon waved back weakly, walking over to Raphael. The younger vampire shifted awkwardly, trying to avoid Raphael's gaze.
"Uhm, so... date-night, huh?" Simon looked up. "Can... Can you nudge Jace into spending more time with Luke and Clary, please? I tried, but he deflects when I mention her name. You might have a better chance than me, what with you being, well, you."
Raphael frowned curiously. It was true that Jace hadn't gone to the last two Friday family dinners at Luke's, but he had claimed it was about his relentless search for Valentine and being too busy. Now, he suspected there was something his boyfriend was trying to hide from him.
"Ever since they found out that he's not really Clary's brother, he's been pulling away from them. They're both worried, but when they try to talk to him, he just doges them," Simon continued.
"That's... good to know. Thank you very much, Simon," Raphael took the other's hand briefly.
There was a flustered look on Simon's face at that. "I... No problem. You know I care about... you guys. Like a friend. Because we're friends. And I want my friends to be happy."
It was endearing just how bad Simon was at hiding his feelings. With a bemused smile did Raphael turn to leave after bidding his goodbye to the younger vampire. He barely made it to the door before Jace caught up to him, hair still wet but a pleased look on his face. Someone had been jerking off in the shower. Raphael knew that sparring with Simon had an effect on his blonde.
"Tell me why you're avoiding your family," asked Raphael as soon as they left the Institute.
"I was literally with Iz before Simon got here for our training," argued Jace with a fake smile.
Raphael stopped and grasped Jace's chin to force him to look at the vampire. "Don't do that. We don't do this. We don't lie to each other, do we, my love?"
Guilt flashed through Jace's eyes and the next moment, he leaned forward to bury his face in Raphael's chest. "They're not my family. I'm not a Fray. I'm not her brother. They have no obligation to spend any time with me anymore. I just... I'm just saving us all the awkwardness..."
"Oh, my love," Raphael's voice was pained as he wrapped his arms tightly around Jace, hugging him close. "You're afraid to be rejected by them. Someone... doesn't need a reason to love you. Please, give them a chance, as you gave me a chance and allowed me to love you."
"I've... lost so much over the past months, I'm so tired, Raph," Jace sounded exhausted. "I can't..."
"You don't have to lose them," interrupted Raphael. "I'm bringing this up because Simon asked me to. Because Clary and Luke are both worried about you, they miss you. Would they do so if... they didn't care about you at all? They'd be glad you're pulling away and they'd drop it. They aren't. They're trying to reach out to you and while you dodge them, they're asking others for help."
"...Simon said that?" Jace's voice was filled with hope. "Maybe... I... could change shifts with Underhill this Friday, so I could... maybe drop by family dinner..."
"That sounds like a wonderful idea, love," Raphael smiled and kissed the top of his head. "And I was thinking that perhaps, we could invite Simon over for dinner on Saturday. I think... it's time we talk about our feelings, all three of us? There is too much... pining. He's good. He was good in bed with us and I know you have been... disappointed with the past few we took with us. You keep comparing them to Simon. You want him again. More. Sh, don't look so worried. I think that I want him with us too. He's been a good friend and I think... he has steadily become more than that."
"...Oh," Jace's eyes widened in realization, before he grinned pleased. "I love you, Raph."
/break\
"You're so nervous," Clary's voice was teasing, before she turned more serious. "You'll finally tell them how you feel? Because your mooning over my brother has gotten ridiculous."
"Oh, you think it's going to be any better once I actually get to date him?" Simon stared at her incredulously before changing shirts again. "I would triple the mooning if I got to be with them. Because I would get to be with them. Urgh. That would be so good."
"Will be," corrected Clary, offering him a small smile. "C'mon, Simon. You're a catch. And they invited you, only you, to dinner today. This is them opening communication about what the three of you could be. Don't look so surprised. It's really not that hard to figure out. The three of you have been growing closer for weeks now. You... touch more, linger with each other."
Simon felt so embarrassed by her words that he simply sped out of the room, heading straight for Dumort and for Raphael and Jace's suite. He knew that way by heart by now, had spent so many hours there, playing video games and watching movies because the couple had a big heart and he had been so very bored while still holing up at the hotel. Jace smiled at him when he noticed.
"Hey there. Raph's finishing dinner. C'mere and help me set the table."
It was the softness that got to Simon and made him wonder if Clary was right, if it wasn't just Simon hopelessly pining for them. Because this was the soft smile Simon had seen aimed at Raphael so often in the past. Before Simon could even answer, Raphael walked up to them, carrying two plates with something that smelt absolutely mouthwatering.
"Dinner is ready. How are you today, Simon?" Raphael's voice was so warm.
"Good. Yeah. I spent today with Clary. She was... in high spirits," Simon's eyes wandered to Jace.
"Yeah... I... attended family dinner yesterday," the blonde avoided looking at him. "It was... nice. Thanks for... telling Raph to push. I would have kept avoiding them. But nothing... changed, even though everything changed. They were still... kind and warm to me."
"Because they love you," pointed Simon out. "Because it's pretty easy to love you."
"It is," agreed Raphael, a fond look on his face as he locked eyes with Simon. "You know, do you?"
Simon's eyes widened. Well, that wasn't how he had meant to do that. He had wanted to wait until after dinner, tell them in a calm, reasonable voice. Not blurt things out. Fingers slipped into his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, making him turn toward Jace, who was still smiling at him.
"I do too," whispered Jace. "Love you, that is. Mh. Strange. Few years ago, confessing something like that would have torn me up. But being with Raphael, being loved by Raphael... And I want that for you too. To be loved by Raphael. Because it's amazing to be loved by him."
"We invited you here to... invite you into our relationship," Raphael took over. "We thought our arrangement worked and it did, as long as there were no feelings. But there are feelings. And they're stronger now, after we shared that one night with each other. I think a... much better arrangements than strangers would be to have you, as a permanent part of our relationship."
"I... uh... That... seems very mutually beneficial," Simon flushed in awe, staring at them.
~*~ The End ~*~
Author's note: I've missed writing Simon slowly getting to know Jace's softer underbelly! Been kinda jumping ahead in most Jimon fics. And I love Raph as the voice of reason. Gah, those three are just so perfect! I hope you guys had as much fun as I did, if so, feel free to drop a comment and let me know ;D
