Chapter 7: 2vs2

AN: Warning a lot of fighting and a little blood in it. Girls will hit boys and also boys will hit girls but it's all for friendly competition and nobody dies. This is kind've a test chapter to see how good I am at the action parts of a story but it won't only be just that. So with no more spoilers lets get into the chapter.

"Its great to see you man!" Myles leaned and gave David a hug.

"Its great to see you too!" he said as he patted his back.

When they separated Myles stared at his dark brown eyes and noticed a large gash that was stitched up right under his eyeball that was at least 3 inches long. When David saw him notice it he looked down at the ground.

"What happened this time?" he asked with a concerned tone.

"A couple of goons tried to rob me. I managed to fend them off barely but, I had to go to the hospital because of it. I hate going to the hospital" he finished with a sigh.

"What a bunch of jackasses, the outcome would've been way different if I was with you"

"I know my friend but look on the bright side. Were here together, alive and well" he tried cheered up the mood a little bit.

"Yeah, I am thankful for that hehe" he chuckled a little bit.

They both stared in awkward silence for a bit staring at the ground.

"Why don't I grab the stuff" David perked up and rushed outside while Myles followed behind.

When they reached his van they grabbed a large suitcase full of items for training. They use to use old junkyard items back in the day but when Myles and David started doing their neighbors yard work for quick cash shortly after they got much better things. They had a training dummy that once you hit it in a certain area it would calculate the power and the accuracy of the internal organs you've struck it from.

David and Myles carried around four suitcases all together. They brought them down in the basement where the gym was at. When David looked around he was astounded by how large the gym was. This would never compare to his father's gym at his hometown. When they sat down after carrying the big suitcases they took a break.

"Oh man, I don't ever remembering this stuff being so heavy" Myles said as wiped some sweat off his forehead.

"Ha! or maybe you've gotten weaker from staying with all the girls. Besides you'll get stronger eventually. But never as strong as me" he finished as he starts flexing while gritting his teeth.

"Tough talk from a guy that lost in an arm wrestle to a little mankey" Myles laughed.

"Wha-hey! he was way tougher than he looked ok! He cheated anyways" he said while crossing his arms.

"Yeah yeah, we all know the whole dealio" Myles said with a sarcastic tone.

After the two were bickering for a few minute they decided to finally start getting for sparring. They went to battle field and were in position to fight. They both stared at each other, both knowing that there was a showdown in the making when suddenly...

"Hey! who is this guy and what is he doing next to Myles?!" Fionna came shouting and released a weak psybeam towards David. David saw it coming and easily dodged it with his boxer reflexes.

Fionna was staring at him with an angry glare while Myles and David were both just as shocked. Myles then ran next to Fionna.

"Hey! it's fine I know him"

She calmed down a bit when Myles knocked some sense into her. She then ran over to David.

"I am so sorry I thought that you were an intruder. You do kind've look the part though no offense hehe" she chuckled.

"Its alright, that was a pretty powerful psybeam though. I could tell you didn't put much effort into either" he said.

Fionna smiled at him.

"My name is David. Long time friend of Myles and you could say were brothers even hehe" he said as he stuck his glove for a friendly shake.

"My name is Fionna. It's nice to meet you!" she said as she reached for his glove and shook it respectively

"So what were you two doing down here anyways? I knew sensed someone down here" Fionna asked.

"Well me and David were going to train for a little bit. Sorry if we interrupted anything important you were doing" Myles answered.

"Nah, I was just cleaning up my room a bit. Hey, do you guys mind if I join you guys? it's been a while since I sparred with someone" She asked with her casual tone.

"Yeah sure. The more merrier"

"Then I hope you guys won't mind if I join in then!" A sudden voice shouted.

They all looked towards the other side of the gym and saw Anna walk towards them with a smirk on her face while she was wearing a black t shirt with grey shorts on. Fionna and Myles smiled happy that she was going to join them while David's jaw dropped to the floor.

"What is her name?" David whispered to Myles.

"Oh, that's Anna she also lives here. She really likes to fight"

"Awesome" David answered back while still staring at the goddess in front of him.

"I'm assuming your David right" Anna said while looking at him with a friendly smile on her face.

David's heart skipped a beat "Yes it is and it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am" he said with hearts in his eyes.

Anna then looked at Myles "So what do you guys think of me and Fionna versus you and David?" She asked him while David was drooling behind her.

Myles smirked and answered her with "Yeah sure but don't expect me and him to go easy. I'd say David is a lot tougher than me"

Anna nodded and then looked at Fionna "What do you say Fio? Wanna show these kids what were made of?" she asked.

"Hmmm, ok but no special attacks. We can't get too hurt so just throw kicks and punches"

"That's fine by me" Anna answered.

After a little preparation all four of them were split up of two teams on each side. Myles and David on the yellow side of the battle field and Fio and Anna on the green side of the battle field. Anna whispered to Fionnas side and said "I'll take on David because hes apparently tougher" she said and Fionna just nodded. Myles and David looked at each other with confused looks.

Myles looked at Anna and saw her giving David a spooky like glare while David was tapping his foot repeatedly. When he then look towards the gardevoir she was staring back at him with a smile and waved at him. He couldn't help but wave back at her but he knew that he was going to have to hit her but he wasn't going to go rough on her.

After another 10 seconds Anna ran towards David with fast speed and she jumped a couple feet in the air and delivered a front kick towards his face. David brought his gloves to his face a easily blocked it. Anna spread her legs vertically and delivered another kick this time towards his chest. It connected this time only taking breath from him slightly. While he was knocked back a little, Anna decided to rush in again to throw a superman punch in which David ducked under and quickly threw a counter straight that connected to her jugular. She got stunned backwards but quickly recovered when David was running towards and throwing quick jabs at her. She got hit by one of the jabs to the face but she then wisely decided to keep the distance with them. They were staring at each other with fiery passion in their eyes waiting for one of them to make a move. Anna made a move by releasing a sudden and quick spinning heel kick towards David's face but just barely missed him. Anna then decided to go all out. She moved closer to him and started to release a flurry of punch combinations towards David. Anna was releasing everything she's got at him but she just couldn't seem connect anything at him. Every punch she's thrown his way was either blocked or he used his very agile head movements (hehe) to dodge the punches. Hitmonchan thrived when it came to defence. Unlike their counter part Hitmonlee where they're more on the offensive side they were gifted with very fast reflexes and strong defensive tactics. With that in mind David was still dodging Anna wrath when she started to slow down though, that's when he decided to strike. When he finally found the opening he was looking for he started to throw an even faster barrage of punch combos on his own.

Every punch combination landed on either her body or face as well as shoe shining her. At this point it looked like Anna was going to get KOed but suddenly she slid in between is his legs somehow and kicked his knee cap so hard it made David bend that knee. Anna moved in and threw a right uppercut that hit his lower jaw that stunned David once again. His legs went stiff and his upper body was wobbling as well as his mouth was open breathing for air. Anna was experiencing the same thing having also gotten beat up. They both stated at each other with defeat in their eyes both wanting to give up.

"Let's call it a tie huh?" Anna spoke suddenly.

"Yeah, you fought really well you have my respect" David said while they put their guard down and both moved in closer. They both shook hands in signs of respect.

Meanwhile, Fionna was pretty much playing with Myles. Everytime he tried to through a punch she would dodge it very easily and start giggling everytime she did.

"You gotta try harder than that hehehe" she would say or "Nice try my little Myles" and it was getting into his head.

"uh! stop it Fionna this is no fair!" he said when he connected a punch to her boob in which his fist comically bounced of it like a firm blob of jello. Fionna smirked and threw a straight right that landed on his face so hard that he flew 7 ft away from her followed by a loud 'thud'.

"ohhhhhh" he moaned in pain while rubbing his head.

Fionna rushed towards him with a worried look on her face. When she came to his side she grabbed his hand to pull him up and eventually he had one arm hanging around her shoulders and his legs wobbly.

"Sorry about that Myles hehe I guess I don't know my own strength" she said as she sat him down on the bench and he slumped there lazily.

Eventually, David and Anna both walked up to the pair both looking like they walked out of a battlefield with all the blood and bruises they have.

"What happened to Myles?!" David rushed to his side to help him out.

"What happened to Myles?! What happened to you two?!" Fionna exclaimed rushing over next to Anna to examine her wounds.

"I said not so hard you two" Fionna said with a pissed off tone.

"It looks like that didn't apply to Myles since you just busted his lower jaw!" David spoke up angrily.

"I-what?" Fionna sat there confused as to what she just did. She hurt one of her friends that bad? Is she dangerous even to her friends? What would Myles think of her now? She sat there in her thoughts as tears started to swell her eyes.

"I sorry Myless bahhhauh" she busted out balling tears as she sat down on the bench next to him with her knees bent to her chest sobbing. Anna was rubbing her back comforting.

She all of the sudden felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw that handsome Lucario who even had a broken jaw was still smiling down at her warmly.

"Its alright Fionna it's only a fracture I think I'll check up on it eventually"

"B-but I hurt you. How could you forgive me" she asked with tears rolling down her eyes.

He sat next to her.

"Accidents happen, we all make mistakes even the most perfect people but the best thing about it is that they also learn from them. Mistakes are part of everything so if you don't have any of them you won't learn to overcome anything" he said as he gave her a nice hug. Fionna was shocked for a few seconds but also gently returned the hug.

Anna looked angry at seeing this.

"You guys ready to get out of here?" she scoffed.

When they both released they were blushing and separated from each other and stood up. David put a hand on Myles shoulder.

"Hey uh, Fionna? sorry I raised my tone at you I just care about this guy too much and it was wrong for me too-" he was interrupted.

"No it's fine I completly understand it and i promise it will never happen again" Fionna said. They both smiled and nodded at each other.

They all decided to relax in the living room. Fionna brought a bunch of ice cold cups of water to each of them. Myles took a sip of his cup enjoying the cold liquid fall down his throat. David sat next to him and slouched on the corner of the couch looking fatigued. Fionna sat next to Anna across the couch from them and were both staring at the ceiling.

Anna then spoke.

"Hey David?"

"Yeah" he said sounding tired.

"Some other day let's fight again and see who wins. We will never able find out who's stronger if we don't" she grinned at him.

'This is the woman of my dreams' David thought as he smiled nervously back at her.

"Of course! that was one of the best fights I've had in a while! Next time won't be so lucky for you though" he chuckled.

Anna smirked "We'll see"

She suddenly got up and quietly moved upstairs assuming she's was going to her room. Everybody was a bit weirded out by it to say the least.

"What's up with her" David asked a bit confused.

"Don't about her she does that when she's focusing on other things" Fionna answered.

David sat there and realized something.

"Wait! how am I gonna get back to my dorm on time!"

"huh?" Fionna asked.

"He's going through college he is trying to be a movie stunt artist" Myles said.

"Well guys tell Anna that I said goodbye and I'll be back to visit eventually. I can't miss my class or else I'll be dead meat"

Myles gave David a goodbye hug and he shook Fionnas hand. When he started his van and pulled out of the drive way he started waving them goodbye and they waved back. When they noticed he was gone they went inside. Myles went upstairs to go take a shower while Fionna was just going to resume her painting because she wasn't really dirty herself.

In the living room where the doll stood tall. Evil was within it and it was the devil's thrall but unbeknownst to them it will terrorize them all. May they rest in peace that once it is done it shall make its call.
