Chapter 17: The Cave of Terrania
Featuring Subterranean Dinosaur Choju Terrania
Christa wakes up from bed.
Christa: ( yawns) Morning Luz. Morning King. Guys?
But she saw her surrounding room. It was not Luz's room she was sharing, it was that dream room again.
Christa: This again?
Christa got off her bed and looked out the window. She could still see the strange city. She quickly ran out of her room and through the hallways. She made it to the exit of the mansion, but once she opened the front door went through, she wasn't at the entrance of the mansion. She was outside of what looked like a garden. Did she somehow end up in the back yard? She walked around and saw the bushes with flowers and butterflies flying around and a fountain in the center.
Christa: It's so pretty.
Then something was approaching her from behind. It was coming to her fast and then suddenly it patted her back.
?: Tag your it!
Christa: AAAH!
Christa got startled and fell to the ground. She turned and saw who touched her. It was little girl. She seemed about twelve years old and was a bit shorter than Christa, about Gus's height. She wore a violet short sleeveed, knee length dress. She also wore white stockings with black strapped shoes. Like Christa, she had beige skin, green eyes, an emerald on her forehead and had short fire red hair. She looked at her with a playful look.
?: Ha, got you!
Christa: Don't sneak up on me like that.
?: I was just having some fun. No need to get all upset sis.
Christa's eyes widened when hearing that. Sis? Did she hear that right?
Christa: Wait, are you my sister?
Christa's sister: Of course I am. Why are you acting weird?
Christa: ( in her mind) I have sister? I don't believe this. ( outloud) Wait where am I then?
Christa's sister: What does it look like? We're home.
Christa: No I mean, where is home? Who am I?
Christa's sister: You're really acting weird. Okay I can tell, if you we play first.
Christa: ( sighs) Okay fine. What do you want to play sis?
Christa's sister: Hide and seek! I hide you seek.
Christa: Okay fine.
Christa looked away and covered her eye's.
Christa: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Ready or not here I come.
Christa opend her eyes and looked behind her. Her sister was gone and was hiding somewhere in the garden. She looked around and peeked behind bushes but was no where around. She looked behind the fountain but she wasn't there. Christa kept looking until she saw what appeared to be a gardening shed. She had to be in there. There was no where else to look. Christa approached the shed and opened it.
Upon entering inside, to her surprise she was in the temple again. Christa turned around and saw the entrance she went through was gone. She had a nervous look but kept going. She went up the small steps and saw the two large statue's together. But there was no sign of her sister, that was until she felt her arms wrapped around her waist. Christa turned and saw her crying.
Christa: Hey, hey what's wrong?
Christa's sister: Don't let him take me! Don't let him take me.
Christa: Don't let who take you?
When Christa turned around, the dark figure was standing right behind her. Christa stepped back and held her sister close to her as the dark figure slowly approached them with it's glowing blue eyes.
Christa: Stay behind me.
Christa formed a spell circle and shot out vine wrapping around the dark figure, then an ice spell which stabbed the dark figure. It fell to the floor looking like it died. But then it's body melted into sludge and reformed it's body unharmed.
Christa: No, that's impossible.
The dark figure formed it's arm into a tendril and hit's Christa away.
Christa's sister: Sis!
The dark figure reached it's arm at Christa's sister, covering her body in black sludge. She struggled out and screamed as it was slowly covering her body.
Christa: No! Let her go!
Christa used a fire spell on the dark figure, it had no effect on it. It turned it's head at her and stretched it's free arm at her, pushing her into the suspension pod, shutting her inside.
Christa: No, stop! Let me out!
Christa banged on the dome of the pod trying to get out but it was no use as it wouldn't break. She just watched as her sister was fully consumed with the sludge and the dark figure looking at her with it's glowing eyes and a red aura smoke forming inside the pod.
Christa: No, let her go! Stop it!
Christa woke up gasping, again from another memory like nightmare. She's been trying to keep herself screaming so to not constantly wake up Luz and King. Not that they minded comforting her from her nightmares, but she wanted them to sleep. She looked over and saw King in his little bed sleeping with Francois and Luz next to her, sleeping so soundly and looked like she was dreaming.
Luz: ( snores) Amity...you beautiful... Cotton Candy Haired Goddess...
Christa got up and looked through the window, trying to calm her mind. Why did this keep happening? Every other night she would have a nightmare that would be about her past. But she can't tell what's a memory or what's just a dream.
Christa: I have a sister, waiting for me back home too. Wish I got her name, or mine too.
Meanwhile at Emperor Belos castle.
Dr Cushing was in the room where the portal door was being reconstructed and the device to enhace it's power. He was monitoring the scouts and dorodoros rebuilding it. Then entering the room was Emperor Belos with Kikimora and Hunter by his side.
Dr Cushing: My lord.
Emperor Belos: Dr Cushing. Status report.
Dr Cushing: The portal itself will be done soon. Once that's complete we will begin testing on getting access to the Human Realm and then amplify it's power to begin the Day of Unity.
Emperor Belos: Good, good. And my new remedy?
Dr Cushing: Selene says it's almost done, should be another day until...
Scout engineer: Dr Cushing, we have a problem.
Dr Cushing's eyes widened with annoyance and turned to the scout engineer.
Dr Cushing: Can't you see I'm in the middle of a discussion with our Emperor?
Scout engineer: But sir, we've ran out of Kanegon adhesive.
Now Dr. Cushing looked mad and even this caugh Belos's attention. Dr Cushing approached the scout engineer and grabbed him by the shirt pulling him up to his face.
Dr Cushing: You mean to tell me we're out of the key element to rebuild the portal and you're barely telling me now?!
Scout engineer: We're sorry, we thought there was more and...
Dr Cushing: We? We?!
Dr Cushing threw the scout engineer to the ground near Belos's feet, as Cushing looked over to the rest of the staff.
Dr Cushing: Who else is guilty of this mistake! Stand up and confess or all shall face punishment!
The team looked over scared, but two more of them went over to him looking down in shame.
Scout engineer 2: We're sorry.
Scout engineer 3: I just guessed you had more stashed somewhere else.
Dr Cushing: Don't apologize to me, apologize to our Emperor.
The three of them approached Emperor Belos and kneeled down to him.
Scout engineer: Emperor Belos please, we didn't mean to slip like this.
Scout engineer 2: Please forgive us.
Scout engineer 3: We'll do better next time.
Emperor Belos: You know I don't tolerate failure in this coven. Are you trying to delibritly sabatoge the Titan's plans?
Scout engineer: No, we swear we weren't.
Scout engineer 2: Forgive us please.
Emperor Belos: I understand.
But then Emperor Belos formed his arm into three tendrils, stabbing the three scout engineers through the head. Hunter cringed a bit seeing that while Kikimora just leered at him. Belos retracted his arm as the three fell down dead.
Emperor Belos: All is forgivin.
Dr Cushing: My lord I apologize for this inexcusable mistake.
Emperor Belos: No need to apologize Dr Cushing, I just need someone to bring a few kanegon slugs and use it's slime.
Kikimora: My liege, I can...
Hunter: Uncle let me.
Emperor Belos: You Hunter? You're willing to go inside the Cave of Terrania to get the kanegon slugs.
Hunter: It's the least I can do. To uh...make up for the palisman incident.
Emperor Belos: Perhaps this is a good way to redeem yourself. Very well. Bring me the kanegon slugs. But do not fail me again.
Hunter: I won't Uncle. I promise.
Kikimora just glared at him, annoyed that Hunter was going on a special mission for Emperor Belos. But she wasn't going to let him take all the glory.
Later in the Legion of Five's lounge.
Mikela: So let me get this straight. You want my help in sabotaging the Golden Guard?
Kikimora: I can't let him take the glory. He's been getting the attention while I've been sitting in the back seat.
Mikela: And why do you want my help?
Kikimora: I need you to control the King Brothers to attack him.
Mikela: The King Brothers? What happened to that monster of yours?
Kikimora: I um... I lost it. But look you control the King Brothers, have them kill him descretely, report he died from an accident, he's out of my hair we deliver the Emperor the kanegon slugs.
Mikela: Yes I see. But say I did help. What's in it for me?
Kikimora: Of course I'm going to give you half the credit. You always love being praised by the Emperor and you don't really like the Golden Guard either.
Mikela: Yes, yes I do. But not enough. I expect a bonus in my pay.
Kikimora: What? Unacceptable!
Mikela: Okay that's fine, I guess I'll go paint something overthere.
Kikimora: Alright, alright. Help me with this assignment and I'll double your pay.
Mikela: Excellent Kiki, excellent.
Kikimora: Never call me that again. Now get the King Brothers.
Mikela: Oh but with all seriousness I can't do that.
Kikimora: What? Why?
Mikela motioned towards the King Brothers who sitting down and their horns were only halfway throught growing back.
Mikela: Their horns are not yet fully grown back, they need full recovery in order to fight. But that's okay, we wouldn't want to use something too familiar if we are to do this descretely.
Kikimora: I suppose, but what are we to use then?
Mikela: Come now Kikimora, I will make us something new. Anytime, anywhere.
The next day.
Christa was with Luz, King, Willow and Alexander in a rocky field. Christa still hasn't mastered how to use her construction magic which involved manipulating Earth. Alex being experienced with it was asked if he could help teach her.
Alex: Okay, let me show you one more time.
Alex got into posistion and was about to show Christa move about construction. When not at school he was wore a white short sleeved shirt with brown construction overalls with black boots. He formed a spell circle and then punched through it and to the ground, making a ground pillar. He heard Willow with her palisman Clover on her shoulder and Luz applaud for him.
Willow: Nicely done Alex.
Luz: It's cool. I don't think I've seen construction magic before. At least I don't think.
Alex: Thanks, I practice a lot. Okay Christa, now you try.
Christa was sitting next to King and Howl sitting near her. But she was in a deep thought about her dream last night.
King: Christa. Hey Christa!
Christa: Huh?
King: Hey it's your turn now.
Alex: Yo come on, perform the technique I demonstrated.
Christa: Oh okay.
Christa got up and stepped near Alex as she tried to do what he did. She formed a spell circle and punched through it and to the ground. Nothing happened though as she she held her fist, rubbing it after punching the ground.
Alex: No, no you gotta be focused when doing it. I could tell you weren't fully at it.
Christa: Sorry.
Alex: Don't apologize. Try it again.
Luz: Seguir intentando. You can do it Christa.
King: Go Christa!
Willow: Just concentrate.
Christa: Okay. Here we go.
Christa tried again. She tried to stay focus, but the dream and her sister kept popping in her mind. She tried to supress it but couldn't focus. She punched through the spell circle and to the ground. Though this time made a small crack on the ground.
Luz: Well, that's something.
King: Yeah, nice try.
Alex: No come on Christa. I told you to stay focused.
Christa: I'm sorry I just...
Alex: You gotta be focused at all time! Were you even paying attention to what I was showing?!
Willow: Alex stop yelling at her. Christa is trying her best and this probably hard to master.
Alex's angry look turned a bit scared when Willow scolded him.
Alex: Uh...I'm just trying to teach her the best I can.
Christa: No he's right I just can't focus right now.
Christa rubbed her face and sat down. Luz and King sat next to her.
Luz: You okay hermana?
Christa: I had another dream last night.
King: Was it about your mom?
Christa: Not this time. Guys I think I have a sister. My own sister.
Luz: Do you really?
Christa: I saw in my dream.
Luz: King.
King: Already got it.
King pulled out the notebook Luz was writing about what they learned about Christa, he then adds " might have a sister."
Willow: What else happened?
Christa: Well we played hide and seek for a bit, but then it ended horribly with that dark figure I keep seeing.
Luz: That again huh? Really wonder who that is?
Christa: I don't know why it keeps ending like this. Is that guy supposed to be someone else I knew or is it just my imagination. I was hoping to get answers there if I played along.
King: Dreams can kinda turn things up a bit. One time I dreamt I was an all powerful king ruling the land and commanding armies that was until my subjects laughed at me because I had a diaper on.
Luz and Christa almost laughed but tried to hold it in. King realized too late what he said feeling embarrased.
King: Wait no I meant...
Luz: That's just cute King.
Christa: And just sad.
King: Hey when you have a dream like that you'll know how embarrising it is.
Willow: But you know Christa the fact you remembered someone else you know, that kinda shows you are slowly remembering more about yourself.
Luz: Yeah and who knows. Maybe the next dream you have you'll remember where you live or your name.
King: Yeah and next time you wake up scared, I'll give you permission to use one of my toys or me if you really want to comfort you.
Christa: Thanks guys.
Alex looked at her, now feeling a bit bad for being a bit harsh, not truly realizng what she was going through until now.
Alex: Hey uh sorry if I was harsh there.
Christa: It's okay Alex. You were just trying to coach me.
Alex: You want to try this again another day? With a clear mind?
Christa: No lets try again. I'll focus for real this time.
Alex: Want to keep on going huh? Just like a real man. I like that.
Christa: Excuse me?
Alex: Uh I mean...uh keep up the devotion and soon...
Alex went to a large boulder and showed off another technique. He used both his arms and made a big spell circle. He put both his arms in and made a motion where he was ripping open something, this caused him to split the boulder in half.
Alex: You'll be able to do that.
Christa: Wow, you must be an expert.
Alex: Eh anybody can do that. You should see my dad, he's the real expert.
But then they saw someone flying over them on a staff.
Luz: Who was that?
Christa: I think I saw them land near by. Let's go see.
Alex: That's funny, because usually when you see something suspicious, you don't go and see and...hey!
Alex saw the four of them leave to go check it out.
Alex: Hey, did you not hear what I just said?!
Alex caught up with them as they hid behind a rock. They saw a familiar figure land in front of a cave. His palisman got off the staff and got onto it's master's shoulder, they got a glimps of his masked face.
Luz: ( whispers) Hunter.
Alex: Who's the twig boy over there?
King: It's that Golden Jerk that used me for ransom.
Willow: That's the Golden Guard?
Christa: His name is Hunter.
Willow: He's a friend of yours?
Luz: No, I mean well sort of...it's a bit complicated.
Alex: Wait if you know him. Is it true he's like the most ruthless, strongest and most powerful witch next to Emperor Belos.
Luz: Nah not really. He's a bit of a jerk, but he's not that bad. Plus he's really not all that powerful without a staff.
Christa: Not to mention he has kind of an annoying voice. But even though he kinda helped us with saving the palisman, we're not sure to really call him trustworthy.
Alex: Wow that sounds disappointing.
Then they saw him remove his mask as his cardinal palisman spoke to him.
Hunter: Of course I'm sure. This is the place. I know where I'm...ugh!
Hunter held his chest, it was that chest pain that would come now and then. The pain lasted ten seconds until fading. His cardinal tweeted at him.
Hunter: I'm fine. Let's just get this over with.
Then they saw him go into the cave.
Willow: He's heading inside the Cave of Terrania.
Luz: What's the Cave of Terrania?
King: Oh I've heard of this. It was said to be the home of a prehistoric demon called Terrania. They say if you went inside, you could still hear it's roar.
Christa: But why is he going in? Is there more to it?
King: Other than now being inhabited by slugs, no.
Luz: I get the feeling he's running an errand for Belos. Let's go see.
Willow: What?
Luz: I want to know what he's up to. What if it's bad?
Christa: ( sighs) Yeah, you're right. Let's go.
King: Yeah let's go. He's so gonna get it for messing with me!
Alex: Wait we're going in there are.
Willow: If we stick together we'll be fine.
Alex: Yeah but...
Alex motioned to the cave entrance.
King: What are you afraid of the dark?
Alex: I'm not afraid of the dark.
Luz: Well it's dark when you close your eyes and that's not scary.
Alex: I'm not afraid of the dark, I just think maybe it's unsafe.
Willow: Alex if you really don't feel comfortable going in you can stay here.
Alex: What? A real man is not afraid of anything nor does he back down!
Alex runs inside the cave.
Willow: Alex wait, don't go too far.
The others follow them in. Once they were gone, Mikela and Kikimora warped to the scene.
Mikela: Are you sure he's in already?
Kikimora looked at the ground and saw foot prints.
Kikimora: He's here. Remember, we want to make this look like an accident.
Mikela: Shall we seal the cave.
Kikimora: No, we want to get some of the Kanegon slugs ourselves for the Emperor, I just need something to deal with the Golden Guard and get the slugs for us.
Mikela: Ah yes of course. This is the Cave of Terrania, so let's have Terrania!
Mikela began painting the wall around the cave. Once he was done he presented the painting of a choju. It was dinosaur like creature. It stood in a bipedal stance and was a little shorter than the King Brothers. It had brown lumpy skin, resembling the outline of an earthworm, even the tail looked like a worm. It's head resembled a Deinonychus dinosaur with slightly long arched neck with a frill. It had a dorsal spike on the back like the King Brothers, mole like hands and had glowing yellow eyes.
Mikela: Terrania! Arise! Do as I command.
The painting began to move and reached its arm out, becoming real. Terrania emerged out of the wall and roared ( stock Telesdon roar) and bowed. But the moment it emerged, it was startled by the sun and got into the cave, getting in the dark spot but still near the entrance.
Kikimora: What's wrong?
Mikela: Oh I don't think it was wise to have him emerge during the day. As I read in history books, this species is sensitive to light. They prefer caves or underground.
Kikimora: Right, but weren't they also five times bigger than this?
Mikela: I can't paint that big. He'll do fine trust me.
Kikimora: Fine.
Kikimora approached Terrania.
Kikimora: Listen Terrania, you are to...
Terrania spat out a black tar near her feet. She stepped back as it roared at her.
Kikimora: What's it's problem?
Mikela: Oh sorry, but my beasts do not take orders from anyone except me and the Emperor as I made them too. Allow me.
Mikela approached Terrania as it calmed down.
Mikela: Terrania, I command you to find the Golden Guard and exterminate him. Cave him in and deliver us some kanegon slugs.
Terrania roared and nodded at him. It began to claw its way into the wall and dug itself inside.
Inside the cave.
The group were walking through the cave. Luz formed a light glyph to light the way. It's just been a long narrow path right now with nothing but rocks and drops of water.
Luz: Is everyone still here?
Christa: We're all behind you.
King: Yeah especially scardy cat over there.
Alex: Hey I'm not scared.
King: Then why are you hiding behind Willow.
They saw how he was hiding behind Willow.
Alex: What, no I'm just...just making sure she's... I mean you all are safe up front. You know what if something comes from behind. I can take whatever attacks from behind.
Willow: That's generous of you Alex, but nothing dangerous lives inside this cave.
Alex: Yeah well...
But then Luz tripped wich made her lose the light orb making everything dark.
Alex: ( girlish scream) AAAAAAAAAAH!
Christa made her own light ball from her own magic as the group looked at an embarressed Alex.
King: Did you just scream like a little girl?
Alex: No.
Christa: That sounded like you.
Alex: It wasn't me. That sounded like a girl screaming so it was probably one of you three.
Willow: None of us scream like that.
Alex: Well maybe it was King.
King: Hey I don't scream like a little girl.
Luz: It's true. I know King's screams and his are way cuter than that.
King: Yeah mine are...wait what?
Alex: Come on, a real man never screams like a little girl.
Willow: Alex if you screamed like a little girl, just tell us.
Alex: I didn't scream like a little girl!
Luz: Wait look.
They hid behind a pillar in the cave and saw the Hunter standing in a room with three pathways.
Hunter: ( groans) No one told me about multiplie paths. Which was to the Kanegon slugs lair? What do you think?
The cardinal tweeted at him.
Hunter: ( sighs) Wish I could understand that.
Christa: ( whispers) What are kanegon slugs?
Luz: ( whispers) Beats me.
Hunter: Guess I should just listen to what my gut has to say.
As they kept listening, a spider made its way down from it's web and came in front of Luz's face making her jump back.
Luz: AAAAAAAAAH!
Luz's scream just gave them away as Hunter turned over to her.
Luz: Uh...whoops.
Alex: Did she just scream like a little girl? (Willow elbows Alex in the chest) Oof!
Hunter: You again!?
Luz: Uh, hey.
Hunter: What are you doing?
Luz: What am I doing?
Hunter: Foiling my plans?
Luz: Foiling your plans?
Hunter: Are you?
Luz: Uh...no?
That's when they heard Terrania's roar.
King: Whoa it's true, you can hear the roar of Terrania.
They heard it again but this time it sounded close.
Christa: Sounds a little close doesn't it?
But then they felt a rumble in the cave.
Christa: What's happening?
Willow: Earthquake?
But then the ceiling began to crumble.
Alex: Cave in!
Alex reached his arms up as his hands glowed and magically held the debris falling on them in the air.
Alex: Everybody get close to me.
Willow and King got to Alex. Luz was about to as well, but then she turned and saw Christa still standing, couldn't move or was too scared to move from the rumbling cave.
Luz: Christa! Come on!
Christa: Luz!
Christa tried running to Luz.
Hunter: Red don't!
Christa reached her hand to Luz as did the latter. But then the crumbled ceiling blocked her path, separating her from the group.
Christa: Guys!
More debris was coming down at her. Hunter saw this coming and with his staff flew over to her, dodging the falling debris and grabbed hold of her and flew into one of the paths.
Christa: Let go! Luz and the others are trapped!
Hunter: Stop struggling. I'm trying to save your...
But then he was hit from the back of his head from a debris as they crashed and fell. Just as Christa was about to pass out, she could hear Terrania's roar before blacking out and sealed into the path, caved in.
A little while later.
Luz got up after being blocked off from Christa. She rubbed her head after that tremor and was approached by King.
King: Luz, are you alright?
Luz: Yeah I'm fine. Willow, Alex are you guys alright?
They looked over and saw Willow getting up.
Willow: I'm okay, Alex are you...
But then she stopped talking when they saw Alex, who was holding up the ceiling of the cave that was collapsing onto them. He held it up with his magic with glowing hands reaching up and holding the ceiling that was coming down.
Luz: Alex.
Alex: Don't worry. I got it under control.
Luz: What caused the cave in?
Willow: The earthquake wasn't it?
King: No there was a roar. It sounded like a demon. But there shouldn't be any in here.
Alex: Well whatever it is, it's sealed us in.
They looked back from the path they came from and it was blocked off too.
Willow: We're trapped in here. Wait where's Christa?
Luz: ( gasp) Oh no Christa!
Luz ran over to the pilled debris that separated her from Christa.
Luz: Christa? Christa are you okay?! Can you hear me! Christa, Dónde estás?
But there was no reply from her. Either she wasn't there, couldn't here or...well she hoped it wasn't the last thought.
King: Luz...
Luz: No, she's alive I know it.
Alex: I'd clear a path easily, except uh...I kinda got my hands full here.
Luz: It's okay, you just hold that as long as you can. King we have to get Christa out.
Willow: And I'll try and clear a path back to the exit. Come on Clover.
Clover nods at Willow.
Willow: Alex just hang on, we'll get you out of here soon.
Alex: Just start digging.
Luz: Come on King.
King: Hold on Christa, King is coming!
Luz and King started digging through the path Christa was trapped behind. They took each rock and put aside. Willow got to her side and started removing the debris. Clover helped by picking up each rock and slowly flying it away. Alex watched as they digged until he felt a pebble fall onto his head.
Alex: ( in his mind) Hope I can hold this up long enough.
Meanwhile
Christa was waking up. She felt Howl nudging to her to get up and then licking her face.
Christa: Howl, you okay?
Howl wimpered as she pet him.
Christa: Glad you're alright.
Then she looked over and saw Hunter knocked out with his cardinal trying to wake him up. She went over to help him wake up. She first removed his mask to help him breathe. He was still knocked out.
Christa: Hunter? Hey come on Hunter. Stop being unconciouss now.
Christa began slapping him across the face to wake up, he began to regain conciouss after second slap.
Hunter: Red.
Christa slaps him again.
Hunter: Red!
Christa slaps him again.
Hunter: Red stop! I'm awake!
Christa slaps him anyway until he pushes her off.
Hunter: Geez! What is with you?
Christa: Sorry, you scarred me the last one.
Hunter: Yeah sure.
Christa: So what happened with that cave in?
Hunter: Something in here caused it.
Christa: I thought nothing lives in hear.
Hunter: Nothing dangerous. Did you hear that roar?
Christa: Yeah what was it?
Hunter: You got me, but looks like it trapped us.
Christa: What?
Christa just now noticed the debris blocking the path. She got up and ran to it.
Christa: No! Luz? King? Willow, Alex! Guys!
Hunter: They're probably dead.
Christa: Don't say that! Come on we got to get them out.
Hunter: We?
Christa: Yes we.
Hunter: Oh no, you mean you. I have work to do. Later Red.
Hunter walks away.
Christa: Wait, Hunter.
Christa runs over to him.
Christa: Uh did you hit your head or something?
Hunter: I might have, but still sane.
Christa: You do realize the path to get out is blocked.
Hunter: I'll worry about it later. I got a special assignment from the Emperor.
Christa: ( squinting) Oh yes you're special assignment.
Hunter: Now you mind telling me what you guys are doing in here?
Christa: I should be asking the same to you. What are you doing in here?
Hunter: Don't worry I'm not here to steal palisman or cause something horrible. I'm here to collect a few kanegon slugs.
Christa: Kanegon slugs?
Hunter: They're cave slugs that produce slime that makes a strong and high quality adhesive. He wants it for uh...reasons.
Christa: Okay fine, but what are you going to do when you want to get out?
Hunter: I have a way out.
Christa: How?
Hunter: You of course. With all your wild magic and I saw how you trapped Shadam with construction powers. You can easily make a new path out.
Christa: Well uh...
Hunter then looked at her with eyes widened.
Hunter: You don't know?!
Christa: I'm practicing.
Hunter: No,no,no! I am not gonna die of starvation inside a cave. Come on.
Hunter took Christa's arm and lead her back to the sealed path.
Hunter: Okay we're not leaving until you open that path.
Christa: I'm not exactly experienced.
Hunter: Just try and make it work.
Christa looked at the debris. How did Alex do it again? She formed a spell circle and then punched the debris. But she ends up hurting her hand.
Christa: Ow, ow, ow, ow.
Hunter: Wow, just...wow that was an utter fail.
Christa: Hey I'm trying. If you're such a know it all on magic, why don't you do it. Oh wait I forgot, you don't have any magic!
Hunter: ( with a hurtful look) Geez you don't have to rub it in.
But they felt a rumble again.
Christa: Wait did I do it?
Hunter: No it's something else.
Then the ground bursted open and out came Terrania. It set it's eyes on Hunter and Christa.
Christa: Hunter, what is that?
Hunter: It can't be. Terrania?
Terrania roared and breathed fire at her. Christa barely dodged the attack, but then he spat out black tar at her legs. This caused her to trip and drop her staff a bit far from her. Terrania got onto all fours and approached her. Hunter with his staff ran at Terrania hits it across the face. He hits across it's face again as Christa uses her ice magic to freeze the tar and shatter it to pieces, freeing her.
Christa: We can take it.
Hunter: No, the cave's too narrow we'll cause another cave in. Run!
The two ran away from Terrania. Terrania got back up and chased after them.
Hunter: Red the only thing we can do is block it off with construction magic. Seal it off!
Christa: I can't!
Hunter: You have to!
Christa: I can't.
They soon made it to a another area in the cave with multiple burrow paths all over.
Hunter: This one here.
The two got into one of the burrows. They peeked out and saw Terrania looking around. Thankfully it went through a different path to find them.
Hunter: Think we lost it.
The two breahed heavily from that chase.
Hunter: Okay Red. What do you mean you can't do construction magic?
Christa: I told you already I can't do it.
Hunter: You did when you fought Shadam. Where's that powerful young witch I saw that night?
Christa: I don't know how I did it okay? Sometimes when I'm tensed up, I somehow go nuts.
Hunter: ( sarcastically) Oh great, fantastic.
Christa: Hey I'm still learning you know. You'd understand if you were someone who woke up from a pod with no memory of yourself.
Hunter: ( sighs) Okay fair enough. Sorry I shouldn't have yelled. But you're our only hope of escape.
Christa: Wait so what was that thing?
Hunter: I think that was a prehistoric demon, Terrania itself.
Christa: So it's not extinct?
Hunter: It shouldn't be possible, plus it's noticbly small when it's species is usually 25 feet tall.
Christa: Well, that thing is gone now. We have to go back.
Hunter: Not until we find the kanegon slug first.
Christa: Are you serious?
Hunter: Yes. You can go back and try to save them, but I don't reccomend it. I may not back you up if that demon returns.
Christa: ( groans) Fine, let's get what you're looking for and you help me save my friends. But no funny ideas.
Hunter: What? I'd never.
Meanwhile.
The others were still trapped. Luz and King were digging for Christa and Willow, using what little plant magic she had in her to dig for the exit and Alex was still holding up the roof. But they were looking tired and were starting to have trouble breathing.
Luz: ( panting) Keep...keep going...King.
King: ( panting) I am...Christa needs...needs us...
Luz: You... doing...doing alright Willow.?
Willow: Still...working on it.
Luz: You hanging in...Alex?
Alex was doing what he can to hold up the debris, but he's been holding it a while. It was starting to get to him.
Alex: Luz, King go help Willow dig for the exit.
Luz: But Christa...
Alex: Listen to me, I don't know how much longer I can hold this and we're running low on air. We need to get out as soon as possible. So go help Willow.
Luz: But...
Alex: I promise we'll come right back for her and get help. If we don't get out now, we'll all die of either suffocation or being crushed.
Luz didn't want to leave Christa behind, but he had a point about their survival. They needed to get out soon.
King: Luz?
Luz: He's right King. We need to get out first.
Luz turned back at the debris that blocked Christa.
Luz: Christa just hang on a little longer, we're come back for you!
Luz ran over to help Willow as did King. They noticed Alex struggling as tried keeping the debris up.
Willow: Alex just hang on, stay strong.
Alex: Been doing that Sprouts.
Back with Christa and Hunter.
The two were still walking through the cave, looking for the kanegon slugs lair.
Christa: Are we there yet?
Hunter: We'll get there, when we get there.
But then Christa fell to her knees. She was breathing heavily. She dropped her staff Howl got off to get to her.
Hunter: Red, you okay?
Christa: ( panting) It's...hard to... to breathe.
Hunter got down on one knee and took out a small bag.
Hunter: Breathe into this.
Christa looked up at him. Howl growled at him
Hunter: Trust me.
Christa placed her hand onto Howl to calm him down and took the bag and breathed into it. She began to regain her breathe.
Hunter: Better?
Christa: Yeah, it was like breathing into fresh air.
Hunter took the bag back and breathed into.
Hunter: Magic air bags. Great for breathing into mines. Come on.
Hunter offered his hand to her. Christa took it and got back up. Howl got onto his hind legs and got onto Christa as she pet him.
Christa: I'm okay Howl.
Hunter: So I see that palisman has bonded with you.
Christa: Yeah, Howl just came to me.
Hunter: You named it Howl?
Christa: No, that's what he told me.
Hunter: You mean you can understand him?
Christa: Yeah, I guess we connect.
Hunter: Wish I could truly understand this guy.
Then the cardinal palisman appeared on Hunter's shoulder greeting Christa and Howl. Howl let out a soft growl greeting the cardinal.
Christa: Aw it's you again. You guys bonded?
Hunter: Yeah, we did.
Christa: Oh what happened to " palisman are dangerous?"
Hunter: Well I mean he just showed up to me and just turned into my staff. But I'm trying to keep him hidden.
Christa: Can't you talk to him about keeping him?
Hunter: No, he hates it whenever I make any mention of wild magic. If Emperor Belos saw me with him, he'd definitly kill him.
Christa: That's just awful. Is he still onto me?
Hunter: Yes. He's just curious to know if you'll burst another siege of power.
Christa: I'm still trying to keep a low profile. But I still want to know how to use my magic properly. I still don't see why you serve him.
Hunter: Because he's my uncle.
Christa's eyes widened hearing that and looked at him.
Hunter: He's the only family I have left. The best I can do is support him no matter what.
Christa: ( sighs) Right.
Then he stopped in place and felt the pain in his chest again. As he grunted from it, Christa looked concerned for him.
Christa: Are you okay.
Hunter: Just a cramp, it's fine.
The pain faded away as he got up and they continued walking.
Hunter: So Red, have you remembered anything about yourself yet?
Christa wasn't sure to tell him.
Hunter: I'm not gonna tell, you can relax.
Christa: Well, other than a couple more dreams about my mom, I actually had one of someone who I think is my sister. But the weird thing is, my dreams would always end with a dark figure attacking me. All I can see are his blue glowing eyes.
Hunter: ( whispers) Blue glowing eyes?
Christa: There's something else though. When I dream, I'm in a mansion and then I look out the window and see a city.
Hunter: A city?
Christa: But it doesn't look anything like Bonesborough, it's too advanced.
Hunter: An advanced city. Huh, it almost sounds like something from the Unknown Isles.
Christa: The Unknown Isles?
Hunter covered his mouth realizing he said too much.
Hunter: I shouldn't have said that.
Christa: No, what's the Unknown Isles?
Hunter: Nothing, you should forget about it.
Christa: Come on this could be important for me.
Hunter: It's off limits, just forget about.
Christa: Hunter!
Hunter: Red would you just forget about. I'm doing this for...
But then the wall bursted open and Terrania appeared behind Hunter. It grabbed his arms and then bit down onto his right shoulder.
Hunter: AAAAH!
Christa: Hunter!
Hunter dropped his staff since Terrania was biting his right side. With his free hand he dried hitting it on the head, but it's skull was too strong.
Christa: Hang on.
Christa was about to use her staff against it, but realized if she used any magic on it, she could hurt Hunter as well.
Christa: Let him go!
Christa formed a light ball and shined it at Terrania. Terrania's eyes widened and lets go of Hunter. It roared in agony and covered it's eyes and burrowed back into the wall. Hunter fell to the ground, holding his shoulder as blood was dripping from his wound.
Christa: You're hurt!
Christa rushed to him and kneeled down.
Hunter: I'm fine.
Hunter winched from the pain.
Christa: You're bleeding.
Hunter: Yeah, it's way worse than your palisman biting me. That was a baby bite.
Christa: Hang on.
Christa with her magic formed a water ball and placed it over his wound to wash off the blood, then she took his cloak and ripped piece of it off.
Hunter: Hey, hey stop that! That's an expensive fabric.
Christa: You want to bleed out?
Hunter: ( groans) No.
Christa began wrapping his shoulder. Hunter looked at her as she did. He was getting a nice or warm feeling of her treating his wound. How can someone so kind do something like this for him.
Christa: There. Is that better?
Hunter: It'll do for now until I get back to get proper treatment. Thanks Red, I mean Christa.
Christa: Sure, your welcome.
The two just looked each other in the eyes for a moment, until Christa unknowngly placed her hand on Hunter's hand. Once she felt it, they both looked down and back each other, letting go and looking away blushing.
Hunter: Um, we should get going.
Christa: Yeah.
Christa helped him up as they kept on going.
Meanwhile.
Luz , King and Willow were still digging through the blocked path and Alex still was holding up the ceiling. But things were starting to get hard for them.
King: Luz...I can't...I'm, I'm tired.
Luz: I know King. But we have to. Just a bit...a bit more.
Willow: We should be almost there.
But then they heard the ceiling coming down a bit and looked over and saw Alex, struggling to keep the ceiling up and even trying to stand.
Willow: Alex what's wrong?
Alex: It's my arms. They're starting to give.
The three of them looked in fear.
Luz: Does it hurt?
Alex: A little. I can feel the weight coming down at me. Don't stop, keep digging!
Willow: Just hang on.
The three kept digging.
Back with Hunter and Christa.
The two were still walking through the path.
Christa: Are we there yet?
Hunter: No.
Christa: Do you even know where you're going?
Hunter: Well...mostly.
Christa: Mostly? We could be lost, we'll never find it and the others...
But then Christa placed her hand on something on the wall. She looked and saw a blue gooey slime on it.
Christa: Ew. What did I just touch? It's all sticky.
Hunter: Wait what?
Hunter looked at her hand and saw the stuff.
Hunter: That's kanegon slime. We should be close. Give me some light.
Christa made a light ball and shined the area. To his luck, he found a few kanegon slugs. They were the size of rats and supported a blue and yellow color scheme and glowed.
Hunter: Kanegon slugs, finally.
Hunter took out a small box and placed them inside.
Hunter: Mission accomplished.
Christa: Okay you got it. Can we go now?
Hunter: Okay alright, let's try again. Shall we?
A little while later.
They made it back to the blocked path from where they started.
Hunter: Okay Red, do your work.
Christa stepped up and tried to clear the path. She formed a spell circle and then punched it. But nothing as she shook her hand.
Christa: I can't.
Hunter: Yes you can.
Christa: I can't, this one is too hard and I thought this break would clear my mind, but I'm reminded I can't and...
But then she felt his hand on her shoulder.
Hunter: Hey look at me. You can do it. I know you can. Stop thinking you can't and just set your goal. You're friends are still trapped, you want to save them don't you?
Christa looked at him at how calm and actually nice he's being.
Christa: Yeah, I do.
Hunter: Then do that.
But then they heard Terrania's roar again. He was coming to them from behind. It showed itself and glared.
Hunter: Clear the path. I'll hold him off.
Hunter with his staff, fought off Terrania as the two struggled. Christa did as he said and focused on clearing the path. She tried again but failed.
Christa: Come on, why can't I do it?
Christa was stressing out. But then remembered what Alex said, stay focused and clear your mind. Give it your all. And Hunter said to stop thinking she can't and foucs on saving them.
Christa: Clear your mind and stay focused.
Christa's eyes and gem began to glow. She formed a spell circle and pucned through it, clearing the path.
Christa: I did it!
Hunter: Nice one Red!
But the moment Hunter let his guard down, Terrania knocked him down with it's tail. This caused Hunter to drop the box of slugs. Terrania then picked it up and burrowed away into the wall.
Hunter: No!
Hunter tried to stop it, but it already dug away. He balled his fists and punched the wall.
Hunter: Ugh, damn it! Why did it take the slugs?
Christa approached him.
Christa: You okay?
Hunter: ( sighs) No, but no point in sulking. I better go find more. This is where we part ways.
Christa: You sure?
Hunter: You've done enough to help me. I think you can take care of yourself. You've done good today.
Christa: Thanks, and I will say this even though we're on separate sides, and that annoying voice, you're actually a nice guy.
Hunter: ( blushes) Um well, you know...I'm not exactly heartless. Wait, my voice isn't annoying.
Christa: ( chuckles) Just messing with you. Before I go can you please tell me what the Unknown Isles are?
Hunter: I already told you I can't do that. That was just a slip.
Christa: Okay fine. I'll just look into it myself.
Hunter: I wouldn't reccomend it.
Christa: If it means jogging my memories than I'll take my chance.
Hunter: Fine, I won't stop you but I'm just doing it for your safety. I care about you Christa. You better go, you're friends need you.
Christa: Right then. Bye Hunter.
Christa was about to run off. But before she did she ran back to him and to his surprise, kissed him on the cheek.
Christa: And thanks for saving and supporting me. Byyyyyyye!
Christa ran away to save the others as Hunter stood there, with the same look Luz had when Amity kissed her and rubbed his cheek. His cardinal appeared on his shoulder and tweeted at him.
Hunter: What are you looking at?
Meanwhile.
Luz and the others were still trapped. However, the debris was starting to clear up and made a small opening .
Luz: We did it.
Willow: Alex we got it!
But Alex's arms were struggling. He couldn't hold it.
Alex: Guys, I'm not gonna make it.
King: Whoa what?
Willow: Alex!
Alex: My arms are about to give up. You need to go now!
Willow: No Alex! You'll get crushed.
Luz: We're not leaving you behind.
Alex: Just go. Even if this wasn't the case, I'd have no way of getting out anyway.
The ceiling was coming down a bit more as his arms shook.
Luz: Alex!
Alex: Listen guys, I know we just met but I want you to know, this last week of meeting you was actually the best time at school I ever had and wished we got to spend more time. Especially you Willow.
Willow looked at him with tears in her eyes.
Alex: Thanks for being my first friend.
Willow: Alex!
Alex: And since I'm gonna die anyway, I just want you to know that I...
Just then they saw the debris on the other side move and then opening it up. It was Christa.
Luz, King and Willow: Christa!
Alex: Christa?
Christa: Sorry I'm late guys. Hang on.
Christa punched the ground, forming a pillar. It went up high and hit the ceiling. She made a few more as the extra pillars pushed up the ceiling. Alex finally lets go and falls to his knees.
Christa: Come on Alex. A real man always gets back up.
Alex just smirked at her. She helped him up as they quickly made it outside.
Back outside.
It was night now and Terrania was delivering the box of kanegon slugs to Kikimora and Mikela further away from the cave.
Mikela: Excellent my pet, excellent. You see Kikimora?
Kikimora: Yes I see. You've done well Mikela.
Mikela: I told you I'd be great help. I will accomplish anything for Emperor. You haven't forgotton our deal have you.
Kikimora: You will be rewared when we get back. But what of the Golden Guard?
Terrania growled speaking to Mikela.
Mikela: He says has not yet finished the job.
Kikimora: Well finish the job. Have him go back and make sure he's dead! And remember, make it look like an accident.
Mikela: Yes, yes of course. Terrania, return to the cave and finish him off.
Terrania roared and nodded.
Mikela: We will be back.
Mikela and Kikimora warp away as Terrania was about to burrow back into the ground, that was until it heard someone exiting the cave. It looked and saw the group running out. It saw Christa and recognized her as a threat.
King: Fresh air! Oh how I missed you.
Willow: I don't think I'm going into caves ever again.
Christa: Glad we all made it.
Luz: Christa!
Luz lunged at Christa giving her a tight hug.
Luz: Are you okay?
Christa: I'm fine hermana. I should be asking about you and everyone else.
Luz: It was tough, but we all made it thanks to you.
King ran up to Christa and climbed up to her head.
King: I thought I'd never see you again. We agreed we'd find our parents together, remember?
Christa: Aw King.
Christa removed King off her head and held him hugging him.
Christa: I'm so happy to see you as well. Of course I remembered my promise.
Alex was sitting on the ground holding both his arm which were sore. Willow kneeled down to him.
Willow: Alex...
Alex: I'm okay sprouts. Arms a bit sore but I'll live.
Willow: You were so strong in there. Thanks for hanging in there.
Willow hugged Alex, making him blush a little.
Alex: Yeah, sure Willow.
Willow: So what did you want to tell me right before Christa.
Alex: ( blushes) Uh that? Uh it's nothing.
Alex didn't want to tell her about his crush on her.
Willow: You sure, it sounded important. You can tell me.
Alex: I uh...I...I was gonna say I actually did scream like a little girl that moment a while ago. I just didn't want you to think I was a sissy. ( in his mind) Phew, good save.
Willow: There's nothing wrong being scared. And you can be honest with us.
Alex: Yeah ok. Yo Christa.
Christa approached Alex as he got back up.
Willow: You really saved us there Christa.
Alex: Especially my butt. I'm proud of ya.
Christa: I just remembered what you taught me. I'm glad your all okay.
Alex: Yeah you're the man! I mean the woman uh...you get what I mean.
Luz: Wait Christa, so what happened with Hunter?
Christa: Well... he kinda helped me.
King: He did?
Christa: Yeah I mean well he had his own assignment, but he did help me unlock my power and helped me escape from Terrania.
Luz: Terrania?
But the the ground shook and out coming was Terrania, roaring as it emerged.
Christa: Guys, that's the demon that caused the cave in. Terrania.
Terrania charged at Christa. She formed a wave of water, pushing it back.
Christa: Luz, this thing hates light. You got any glyphs on you?
Luz showed her a few light glyphs.
Luz: Always do.
Terrania got back up and again charged at her. But Luz got in front of him and shined a light glyph at him. Terrania stopped in place and covered his eyes, roaring in pain. Terrania turned away, but Luz again got in front of him and shined another glyph at him. He kept roaring in pain from the light. With his eyes shut he spat out more black goopy tar around aimlessly. It shot off the light glyphs and at Luz's hand and at her legs. She was stuck now as Terrania was coming at her, that was until he felt somthing bite his tail. King was biting his tail but didn't stay long as he was shaken off.
King: Bleh, ugh all I taste is dirt.
Terrania opened it's mouth about to breathe fire, until Willow shot a vine at it's mouth, muzzling him. As Terrania tried to get it off, Alex headlocked the creature and covered his other hand in rocks and began hitting Terrania on the head. After shaking him off, Terrania dug into the ground and tried to escape.
Luz: He's getting away.
Alex: Christa, punch the ground with me to force him out.
Christa nodded. They both formed a spell circle and punched through it and into the ground. The ground shook and shot Terrania out of the ground and into the sky. He fell down and rolled around a bit. Christa quickly helped free Luz, by freezing the tar and shattering it. As Terrania got back up , Christa punched the ground again and a pillar formed under Terrania, flying him up and crash into the ground. He was about to breathe fire at her. Seeing the gasses in his mouth, Christa formed a fireball and fired into his mouth, causing the inside of his mouth to burst in flames and explodes. Blood was dripping from his mouth and fell to the ground rolling and giving out his dying roars. He tried to get up, but then fell to the ground, finally dying.
Christa: ( sighs) That finally got him.
They looked as Terrania's body began to melt into paint.
Alex: It's melting.
King: It wasn't real. Demons don't melt when they die.
Christa: So it was a choju, this is Mikela's doing? We fell into a trap meant for Hunter.
Luz: Yeah, wait Christa. Let me see your hand.
Christa showed her hand and to their surprise was a new glyph symbol on her hand. Luz took a blank sheet of paper and placed it on her hand. She tested the new glyph and made a rock pillar.
Luz: Whoa.
Christa: Luz, you just got a new glyph.
Luz: Christa, you really are the coolest witch ever!
Luz hugged Christa again as did King.
Christa: Thanks, but I'd never discover it without your guys help.
Willow: So wait, is that it with your powers. Do you have any more.
Christa: I...really don't know.
Christa just looked at her hands wondering if she's hit limit or still has more.
Luz: We should probably head back. Eda's gonna get worried if we stay out late.
Christa: Wait, guys just one thing.
Luz: What is it?
Christa: Have you heard anything about...Unknown Isles?
Meanwhile at Emperor Belos castle.
Hunter was in the throne room where Emperor Belos and Dr Cushing were.
Emperor Belos: So you return to me once again with nothing.
Hunter: Uncle I can explain, there was a cave in and was trapped inside, I barely made it out alive.
Emperor Belos: Yes I see, but you couldn't find a single slug?
Hunter: I tried but with limited paths I had I couldn't find any.
But then the doors open and Mikela and Kikimora enter.
Kikimora: My liege we have...
But then she let out a small gasp seeing Hunter.
Kikimora: Golden Guard, you're alive.
Hunter: You're surprised?
Mikela: Ugh what she meant was you are alive. Oh ho thank the Titan your here. We got very worried.
Mikela winked at Kikimora and Hunter looked at him confused.
Dr Cushing: What is this about Mikela?
Mikela: Kikimora and I were at the scene. We felt a tremor and saw how you were trapped. We tried desperatly to save you but we couldn't find you. We were going to report this accident to save you but also to deliver this to you Emperor Belos.
Mikela presented him the box of the kanegon slugs. Hunter saw it and recognized it.
Hunter: ( in his mind) My slugs, I should have known this was his doing.
Mikela: The kanegon slugs as requested my lord.
Hunter: Stop right there. Those are mine, you stole it from me.
Mikela: What? I am deeply offended.
Kikimora: You accuse us for theft when we tried to save you?
Hunter: Those are my slugs, you stole...
Emperor Belos: Hunter.
Hunter stopped talking and looked at Belos.
Emperor Belos: That's enough.
Hunter: But uncle...
Emperor Belos: Dr Cushing. Take the slugs and continue construction on the portal. I wish to speak with Hunter alone.
Dr Cushing: Yes my lord.
Dr Cushing, Mikela and Kikimora left the room, leaving Hunter and Emperor Belos alone.
Emperor Belos: Hunter, I am very dissapointed in you.
Hunter: Uncle I apologize.
Emperor Belos: I don't want your apology, I want you to do better. I know you've been into tough situations before but you still fulfilled your tasks. How could you not find the kanegon slugs but Mikela and Kikimora did? Unless, there is something else you're not telling me.
Hunter could expose that it was a sabatoge, but if he did, that would mean he'd have to give the whole story, including Christa and if he found out she was now able to do construction magic, he'd definitly would go after her.
Emperor Belos: Is there more you're not telling me?
Hunter: N-No uncle. I failed you again. I'm sorry.
Emperor Belos: Indeed you have.
Emperor Belos reached his arm and turned into a tentacle, grabbing Hunter and bringin him to his face.
Emperor Belos: This is the second time you've done this Hunter. This is not like you. Perhaps you need something to get you focused again.
Emperor Belos with his other hand formed some electricity on it. Hunter looked at it in fear.
Emperor Belos: Do not resist. This will be over soon.
Hunter struggled to get out as Belos brought his electric hand to his face.
We cut away to Mikela, Kikimora and Dr Cushing outside the door, they stood their listening to Hunter's blood curdling screams as he was being tortured for his failure.
Mikela: Ah, music to my ears. That will teach him for making me look like fool in front of the Emperor.
Kikimora: It's not death, but still satisfying.
Dr Cushing: You sabatoged his mission didn't you?
Kikimora: So what if we did?
Dr Cushing: No need to panic, I'm not too fond of him either. Always sick of the treatment he got that seeing him punished is a nice change. I hope to see his downfall soon.
Shadam: I'm glad you have not killed him yet.
Shadam appears.
Shadam: Didn't I say he'll die soon?

Author's Note: That's it for this chapter. Sorry this took long. I know this is not my best, but this was the one chapter I had trouble planning and writing since I wasn't sure exactly how to play it. Also I should mention to my current readers, I made a slight modification with Mikela's design in his debut chapter. It's not big, just added a fu manchu like beard to him, I just saw him with some type of beard. I'm sorry I did this again, I guess I sort rushed into the story over excited.
