Thirteen years later

In the bay docked a huge Galleon. Several creatures swarmed over the deck frantically scrubbing at it more out of want to finish than will.

"Se-breeze." Stop whinging and star scrubbing at the floor, ye mangy sea-dog!" A gruff voice called out.

Se-breeze the purple Gelert replied stuttering.

"Yessir, Sorry Captain Bloodeye sir."

"Stop blubbering and get on with it!"

Replied the voice losing impatience. As Se-breeze scrubbed the deck so hard she had little breath left, a form stepped out of the shadows. An over-large, scarred Moehog with an eye patch and peg leg. He stepped out on his trotters. He was a strong wan coloured Moehog with an outcrop of black stubby hair. He wore a rich purple cloak which flapped ominously in the light sea breeze.

As the Galleon 'The Shadow Usul' rocked with the tides, Captain Bloodeye leered angrily at a young dust grey Lupe who was scrubbing so hard at the deck it was getting slippery.

"You there! Yes, you the Lupe! What do y'ar think y'ar doing?" growled Captain Bloodeye.

The Lupe, who had no name or had forgotten it, shrugged and replied in a tiny voice.

"I'm just doing the deck sir, makin' it clean, sir."

Captain Bloodeye scowled and hacked up some phlegm and spat it onto the deck. He rubbed it in with his peg leg.

"You're not doing it prop'lly! Y'ar making it Slippy and too Shiny"

Then he clopped noisily away leaving the young Lupe silently weeping big pearly tears.
