May 16th 08:06pm
A crowd of people are looking over in shock and confusion over a gigantic demonic-like tree in front of the city. Some people even taking pictures of the tree.
Meanwhile, inside the demonic tree…
Vergil is fighting against something, dodging fireballs from a powerful demon sitting on what looks to be a throne and trying to attack it. Two people are walking, they're about to catch up with Vergil. One of them is Jacqueline.
Jacqueline says to herself "what the fuck am I doing here? Dad has got this he's the toughest guy I know"
The man walking next to her was named "D" he was tall pale skinned with long black hair he wore a black suit with a dark red shirt underneath holding a black cane in his hand with a red ruby at the top end of it he told her "oh I don't know… I wouldn't underestimate this demon if he was able to do all this…. After all he did take the Rebellion from you and then he managed to take Yamato from Vergil …. I'm going ahead, don't fall behind kid" he said before running forward.
Jacqueline sighed as D went ahead "alright weird dude… fair enough… but I got a score to settle with this fucker, he took my sword"
As she ran ahead to catch up she cut her way through every demon she came across with ease the loss of an arm was slowing her down but not much she eventually saw a red and black bird Gryffon hovering over her then noticed D "thought you took off ahead? Get too much for ya?"
D chuckled "yeah maybe.. But this kinda falls to you if I go in there I'll be dead in seconds"
Gryffon then said to Jackie "That's all right, superstar, go on with your bad self. Go ahead, we got this."
….
Vergil is overpowered by the demon and gets knocked away. Trish and Lady are also on the floor, knocked out. The demon is about to finish off Vergil with a vine before Jackie shoots it with Luna and Nox "back off asshole… take my sword, beat up my mom and my dad AND my auntie? You're going down!"
The huge red and black demon looks over at Jacqueline and just laughs an evil maniacal laugh "you? What a joke"
Jacqueline just glared at the demon before pulling out her sword the Revonaire "your ass is mine motherfucker!"
Jackie is easily overpowered by the demon and is sent flying. Jackie gets back up while D catches up with the two, seeing how the two have already been defeated by him and mutters "oh crap.."
Gryffon says in panic "This is it, this is the end! It's all over!"
The demon is about to finish off Jackie before someone fires mirage blades into the demon's face, along with stopping its energy charge. It's Vergil who mutters "I'm not finished yet.." he says holding the rebellion in his hand.
Jackie gets back up before Vergil goes into Devil Trigger and charges at the demon with Rebellion. Not even able to leave a scratch on his shield as Vergil is in a stalemate "Jacqueline get out of here now! D get her out of here!" he said to D and Jackie.
Jackie tries to go forward screaming "I can still fight Dad!"
Vergil growls "this is too much for you, it's too dangerous just go now!"
D tries to pull Jackie back as she growls "Back off!"
A bunch of rocks from the battle drop close to Jackie and D, blocking them from Vergil and the demon. D is trying to get Jackie out of there "come on kid we have to go!"
Jackie keeps struggling "Let go of me! I can't leave them, they're my family!" she yells
D tells her "we have to go, he's stronger than we ever could have guessed!"
Gryffon flies away from the two. Jackie is able to get out of D's gasps as rocks continue to block the two of them from Vergil.
Jackie screamed "DAD! MOM!"
D is able to get Jackie out of the way before rocks completely block their path from him. D pins Jackie to a wall with his cane as he tries to reason with her "listen kid you've got to pull your shit together and get strong because if Vergil dies in there then you're all that's left to defeat Alleri"
Jackie asked "that's his name?"
D nodded "yeah Alleri… the demon king he's the one that took rebellion and then stole Yamato from Vergil"
Alleri is able to overpower Vergil in his stalemate, punching him and sending Vergil flying. Forcing Vergil out of his Devil Trigger and even being able to shatter Rebellion into pieces. Meanwhile, Jackie and D are able to get out of the demonic tree with the help of D's giant golem, Nightmare, as they land in the middle of the city.

-One month later-
Jackie is laying down on the passenger seat while Nico is driving the RV. Jackie is switching through different calls coming out from the radio of the RV before she gets annoyed and turns it off "same shit different day… tell me something Nico.." she said standing up and walking back to the jukebox putting on some music.
Nico replied "tell you what?"
Jackie asked " How's it feel rescuing the guy that killed your father?"
Nico scoffed "Well, he abandoned my mother and I and left us for dead... So, I feel nothin'."
Jackie came back to the chair "yeah I didn't like him either fucking asshole stabbed me"
Nico pulls out a cigarette and begins to smoke "His research wasn't that bad. Came in handy. Mildly thankful for that…"
Jackie groans "you gotta do that now?" she said rolling down the window and sticking her head out for fresh air "already smells like ass in here"
Nico replies "That's you."
Jackie squints and sees demons further down the road "hey uhh Nico.. "
Nico quickly said "Don't lose your tits, I see'em." Nico accelerates and starts driving faster. She runs through some of the Empusa demons as she continues driving.
Jackie giggles "whooo ten points!... my turn!" she said leaning out of the window shooting Luna and Nox.
Nico continues to run through some of them. A demon crawls up Nico's window, with Nico getting it off with her cigarette as she runs it over. Nico runs some Red Empusa over and hit the RV and she wipes them away with the windshield wipers. Nico turns the RV over as a horde of demons block their path, with Jackie getting out from her window as she shoots down the remaining demons as the RV is flipping around. As the RV gets back on the ground, Jackie gets back in through the passenger seat window as they continue to speed through the abandoned Redgrave City. Jackie decides to light up another cigarette for Nico as she looks out through her window.
…..
Meanwhile, a bunch of soldiers are trying to attack against a horde of Empusa demons on a bridge.
"Hold the line. Hold the line! Nothing gets through!"
They're losing the fight as one of the soldiers gets their arm sliced off by a Red Empusa.
"What's happening? What's going on?" a soldier said in fear.
The soldier is about to be attacked by a demon before miraculously getting saved as the RV runs over it before the RV parks nearby the soldier. Jackie gets out of the van.
Jackie looked down at the soldier smiling "hey baby… I appreciate you warming them up for me but you might wanna tuck tail and run now"
The soldier looked at her "Hey, who are you? Hey, you're gonna get yourself killed!"
Nico stepped out beside him "Don't crap yourself. She likes to kill demon things. Let her do her thing."
The soldier yelled "You hear what I said, you dumb bitch?! You're gonna die!"
Jacqueline turned smiling "I don't appreciate that kind of negativity"
Jackie then proceeds to take down some Empusa with the help of Overture, her devil breaker.
The soldier just sits there staring in stunned emotion, as he continuingly watch Jackie fight the Empusa demons single-handedly.
Nico knelt down beside him "Yeah she's a real pro at smackin' demons around. One of the very best I've ever seen"
Overture starts to malfunction from all the fighting, which Nico notices "Hey psycho watch the merchandise!"
Jackie turned "it's not my fault you make them fragile as fuck, now take cover and shut up will ya?"
Jackie fought her way all across the bridge till she came across a huge qliphoth root "ugh what an ugly plant…. Sorry mother nature but exceptions have to be made!" she said before cutting it to pieces.
Once it was dead Nico turned up "That'll keep'em, but not for long."
Jackie turned and asked "what do you mean?"
"Soldier boy says the city's gone to hell and back, taken over by the underworld. Not just here, but everywhere." she told Jackie.
Jackie sighed "this must be why he took Yamato too"

-Two months ago-
Jackie is inside a garage as Nico is fixing the underside of the RV.
Nico muttered "Why do I feel like your pet mechanic…. Don't get used to it…"
Jackie giggled "yeah right you'd keep coming back to me anyway, besides you still owe me for those documents I got for ya after talking to Credo about the order's files… so shut up and get back to looking pretty"
Credo called from upstairs "you two… Kyrie is finished making dinner"
Jackie replied "be right there babe!.. You go ahead Nico I got this"
Nico gets up saying "I'll try to save you some... Not"
Jackie just watched as she left "whatever you say.." she muttered as she got back to fixing the hood of the RV.
a hooded man appears before Jackie outside of the barely open garage door.
Jackie spots him and asks "you need something honey?"
The hooded man doesn't respond, only audibly breathing.
Jackie asks "Are you hungry or something? Well you got lucky because my sis in law always makes too much.. She's weird like that"
Jackie isn't paying attention as the hooded man steps inside the garage, he is now right behind Jackie. She soon notices the hooded man next to her and becomes increasingly suspicious. "See something you like? I'm flattered hun" she smiled before she looked down to see her devil arm glowing red then turned back to the hooded man "you a demon?"
The man said "so are you, I don't have time to explain give me the rebellion now"
Jackie looked him over "if you want it you'll have to take it or give me an incredibly good reason… Do I know you?"
The man coughed out blood "I'm running out of time, last chance give me the sword"
Jackie pulled out rebellion and pointed it at him "I don't know what's wrong with you but you better get out of here .. now"
The man sighed "I hope one day you can forgive me for this" he said as he suddenly dashed forward grabbing the hilt of rebellion and kicking Jacqueline hard in the stomach sending her crashing into the wall.
Jacqueline grunted and looked up "wait!.. Come back!.."
The man muttered "I can't.. Like I said I don't have long left.." and as Jacqueline blinked the man was gone from sight.
Credo came running down after hearing the noises and said "Jacqueline!"
Nico says "I leave you for two minutes!, what the hell happened!?"
….
The hooded man found Devils Never Cry and walked in dragging rebellion behind him.
Vergil was standing at his desk but when he looked up and saw the hooded figure holding rebellion he was so caught off guard that he didn't react when the hooded figure threw rebellion at Vergil stabbing through his chest pinning him against the wall.
The hooded figure walked over and grabbed Yamato off the wall leaving Vergil with Rebellion "you can keep that… I only need thi-" he coughed out more blood before cutting open a portal.
Vergil growled ripping rebellion out of his chest "No!" he grunted trying to run through the portal but it was too late.

Nico turns to Jackie in the RV "That's it. No more wheels from here."
Jackie nods standing "that's fine I'll walk from here"
Nico walks over to her counter at the other end of the RV "I'm waitin' on you. I'm cookin'. Any special orders?"
…
As Jacqueline fights her way through town she eventually makes it to the spot she was supposed to meet D but just then she looks up seeing an ambulance thrown down at her but she stays still and because the side door was open Jackie was inside the ambulance as it tumbled across the ground till sitting up right.
Then the door was kicked open as Jacqueline walked out with her hair messed up "now that's what I call irony… hit by an ambulance" she giggled.
She then heard a voice at the top of the tower " Human... I wasn't expecting any survivors." There was a very large demon at the top of the tower before it jumped down.
Jacqueline replied "well aren't you happy to see me then?... hey I'm supposed to meet a guy here, a tall guy kinda hot has a cane with a red ruby in it… did you eat him?"
The Goliath looked over to spot Jacqueline saying "Your blood... is a very precious sacrifice. Eating you would do me no good. I must have every last drop... to rule the Underworld... as king!"
Jacqueline asked "a king?.. Hmm I don't see your queen anywhere but that's not a shocker"
The Goliath said "Puny human... Do you know who I am? I shall show... the wrath... of the mighty Goliath!" he said as he stuffed rocks into his mouth on his stomach before shooting a fireball at Jackie.
Jackie said "oh crap…" she jumped quickly over it landing in front of the goliath "... that was awesome! Do it again!"
The goliath roared at her charging towards her.
…..
After defeating the goliath it sputtered " I must not be defeated... in a place like this!.The fruit... is mine... I will rule the Underworld... not him...!"
Griffon appears out of nowhere, flying around Goliath. And D shows up out of the blue holding a bottle of beer in one hand and his cane in the other.D summons Shadow to weaken Goliath as it spun towards the goliath cutting it apart "Why... why are you...?" goliath muttered.
D walked over "save it big guy… it'll all be over soon" he said before stabbing his cane through goliath's face killing it.
Jackie asked him "and where the fuck have you been? I thought he ate you D"
D smiled at her "that's sweet of you to care… I stopped for a drink and there was a bar still open… well smashed open"
Jackie giggled "why didn't I think of that?... Hey do you... you think my dad is still up there?"
D replied "If Urizen defeated him, then I bet he's not much more than Qliphoth pollen by now."
Jackie asked "wait what pollen?"
D replied "Qliphoth. It's a tree that grows in the underworld. It thrives on human blood, and those whose blood it sucks well... check this out" he points to a nearby human whose blood was sucked it looked like a statue till D jabbed it with his can making it fall apart "see?"
Jackie laughed a little "well there is no way my dad is dead I don't believe it.. We'll save him"
D stopped her "hold up… first we need to get rid of a few of these roots" he said as shadow walked over and Griffon landed on D's shoulder.
Jacqueline asked "D.. what are you?"
Suddenly Nico turned up in her RV "I know, I know, I'm late, shut it! The roads were all clogged. Hey, you must be D, huh? You gonna get that? Ding, ding, ding! That there. Right by your feet?"
D looked down and kicked the horn up to Nico who sniffed it and said " Woo-wee! I'm gonna make somethin' amazing out of this!"
Jackie groaned in disgust "you have any idea where that thing's been?"
Nico asked "up your butt?"
Jackie replied "you are so vulgar" she giggled before getting into the RV followed by the smiling D.

D said "I think we should split up"
Jackie dramatically said "no wait I can change D..I'll be better I promise" she then smiled before saying "nah you're right.. Cover more ground that way"
D chuckled as Nico stepped out from the back holding a new devil breaker "Behold my genius!. Cash first."
Jackie gasped "you're gonna charge me?!"
Nico replied "My brilliant badass work is worth every dime, you know it."
Jackie replied " Yeah? Well your quality control sucks ass, and you know THAT"
Nico told her "maybe don't let the demons smack you around so much?"
Jackie replied "you don't shut it and I'll smack you around" she said walking to the back.
Nico grinned before saying "I am truly gifted! It's a work of art!"
Griffon laughs "Oh, so you're an artist now, huh?"
Nico abruptly replies "Yes I am! Got any questions, little chicken? My grandmother was called the ".45 Caliber Virtuoso"... Legendary Gunsmith. I hope to be like her someday. An artist, and a lethal artisan. Everything I create is art, whether it's a gun... or a steel pot... to cook birds in. Any more questions, huh? ...Little chickee."
D chuckled "right I'm outta here before we end up eating chicken… I'll see you later ladies"
Jackie came and asked "is it just me or is he kinda hot?"
Nico replied "what? Credo not enough to keep you satisfied?"
Jackie grinned "hey I'm allowed to look, Credo keeps me more than satisfied…. God I'm getting laid after this" she said walking out.
….
Jackie fought her way to the library coming across the Artemis demon which immediately tried to shoot her with her light beams.
Jackie dodged every one of them jumping all over the room "ahhh! You crazy bitch!... mmm no talking huh? Usually they all have something to say, nice to finally get some peace and quiet."
…
After Jackie cut open a little of the demon's chest she saw someone inside "huh? Don't worry I'll get you out of there!" she jumped up and cut open more and more till Lady fell out naked and covered in goop.
Jackie caught her and looked down at her "Auntie Lady!? Hey are you okay? hey"
Nico showed up and said "she'll be fine let's get her in the van"
Jackie looked up "how do you know?"
Nico replied "she's still breathin ain't she?.. Ahh"
Jackie looked confused "what?"
Nico tells her "I can't believe you'd do this to Credo, I'm gonna have to tell him girl"
Jackie groaned "in your dreams Nico, she's my aunt""
Nico picks up a piece of Artemis - her orb/sphere "I'm joking babe.. Chillax… don't do anything I wouldn't do"
Jackie looked down at Lady smiling "don't worry auntie I've got you I'm gonna look after you" she said carrying Lady back to the van.

Griffon asked D "So, D. You think this kid can kill Alleri?"
D replied "I dunno… but if Vergil's gone she's all that's left"
Griffon says "Oooh, genius, says "be careful." Yeah, no shit, Shirley! Ain't that right, D? I mean you ARE fragile at the moment. Wouldn't take much to wipe you out in a sticky situation. I'm just saying running away is okay. It's always okay to run away, if you're not up for it!"
D nodded sarcastically "love the faith you have in me Griff… but how could I pass up a fun time like this?"
Griffon sighed "Just remember this: You and I like to exist. So get rid of those demons quick, 'cause killing them ain't my shtick! I got your back,'cause dyin' is whack!"
….
D makes it through the railyard to a bridge but once on it, it starts to tremble "ohh shit…. Shit shit SHIT Griff!" he yelled, jumping as the bridge fell apart and Griffon flew him over to the other side.
…
When D made it through the other side of town he came across another root.
Griffon flies D away from the worm-like demons going to strike him.
When another demon showed up it looked like a parasite "You dodged me! Did you dodge me!?"
Griffon landed on D's shoulder saying "Nidhogg, never liked this guy."
Nidhogg said "You pest. Do I know you?"
Griffon went on to say " Dumb as a bag of rocks. Let's not even mess with this guy, D. He can't even leave the Qliphoth, anyway. Just a Qliphoth parasite."
Nidhogg asked in anger "did you insult me?"
Griffon said "uh oh"
Nidhogg growled out "you insulted me!"
Griffon warned in a slight panic "I think he heard me... and he's angry!"
Nidhogg tried to strike D "I'll kill you!"
D smirked "no no.. I don't think so.. But you're welcome to try slimeball"
…..
After D defeated Nidhogg another huge demon appeared in the distance Griffon said "Okay, um, that's not good right now. That's not good. Wait, where-where are you going? Are you running away? That's… that's not a good sign."
D was already walking away "yes the fuck I am running away… look at the size of that thing we can't face that kind of shit right now" suddenly the demon started shooting at D as he started running while Griffon screamed "Let's get out of here, D!" but just then the ground broke apart as D fell through it.

Griffon spoke in relief "We're alive! We've made it! It's our lucky day, D! Let's find a game of cards."
D stood up brushing the dust off him "or play the lottery…..These Qliphoth roots... they're everywhere."
Griffon replied "Well, we ARE underground."
D muttered "oh shut up… we gotta go cut down some more noxious fucking weeds"
Griffon replied "and me without my sheers"
….
As D made his way through the ship and then the sewers he found another 2 demons ahead.
When Griffon saw them he said " Malphas... of course, more trouble. Not sure about that one, though. Never seen him before-"
D covered his mouth "shut the fuck up…. Idiot" he warned
Griffon whispered " -Not in the Underworld anyway!?"
Malphas speaking to the other demon said "Search for the devil sword Sparda. You know where it is? It still concerns me. As long as there is a blood descendant of Sparda... I cannot take any chances. Do you understand!?...Find it and destroy it! Only then will his reign be truly realized!"
After Malphas left D stepped out "destroy the sparda? Sorry pal that ain't happening" he said as the shadowy demon on the horse spotted him.
…
After D defeated the elder geryon horse the shadow tried to escape D tried to follow him "get your ass back her-" D fell to his knees feeling weak "...nevermind you keep running"
Griffon hovers over him worried "D!"
D slowly stood "gotta get rid of that fucker he can't destroy the Sparda.. I need it just in case this goes left"
Griffon replied "D, uhhh, think about this for a minute. What will you do if you find it? You gotta be strong in mind and body to wield the Sparda, and you, sir, are neither. Hate to break it to ya, but the Sparda will be just too much for ya."
D shook his head "it's not for me...it's for him" he leans down and picks up a piece from Geryon.
Griffon asks "uhh who are you talking about D?"
D smirks "that would be spoiling the surprise...come on we have to go find it"

Nico was telling Jackie "Well she ain't dead. Got a pretty smokin' body though….Not that I was-barely even noticed. You know, you should go do your thing. I got this."
Jackie smiled "yeah I bet you didn't notice …. You better not do anything weird with my aunt..."
Suddenly they feel the earth shake as Jackie nearly fell over "holy fuck...what the fuck was that?!"
Outside they saw a giant demon named Gilgamesh.
Jackie saw it and said "whooo...about time another big one came along… you guys stay here I got this one" as soon as she stepped outside the demon started shooting at her as Jackie was running so fast jumping all over the place "whoo! Yeehaw!"

After some fighting Gilgamesh fell to the ground and made a huge hole in the ground Jackie looked down and saw D and Griffon "hey guys...what're you doing down there?"
Griffon asked her "You didn't think you did all that by yourself did ya?"
Jackie knelt down looking through the hole "mmm...you keep talking I might just let nico cook you ...bet you'd taste like chicken"
Griffon looked up at her "you ungrateful little-.."
D smirked "I'll leave this one to you...I gotta move on"
Jackie waved them away as she turned back to Gilgamesh "back to you big guy!"
…
Jackie once she had slayed the demon she saw it disappearing "ahhh bonus ...this one was a root too sweet!"
Nico called from the van "yo! Jackie...Lady's awake"
Jackie turned walking back "I'm coming"
Nico stopped her "Hey wait wait wait, we could use that. Pick it up."
Jackie looked over and nearly picked up a can.
Nico shook her head "Not that one, the other one."
Jackie asked "This one?"
Nico said "-Uhhh, next-next to it!"
Jackie groaned "Nico..for fuck ..this?!" she said holding up a piece.
Nico sighed "sure"

Jackie & Nico inside the van talking to Lady "hey what happened to Dad?...and mom is she okay?"
Lady slowly replied "Trish... she... she was captured. I remember that. But I don't know what happened to Vergil…. Fuck I hope he's okay"
Jackie sighed "shit…"
D came in suddenly "you're not gonna get through that tunnel in this thing"
Jackie replied "yeah we know...just waiting on you..hold on I'll go get ready"
D looked at Lady muttering "still breathing then huh?"
Lady turned to him "no thanks to you…" she said aggressively.
D chuckled ignoring her and held up the piece of Geryon he got "Nico my sweet this is for you...if you want it that is"
Nico snatched it excitedly "Wow! I can make something truly amazing out of this." she said as D stepped back outside.
Lady looked at Jackie "Shocker... can we trust him?"
Jackie replied "no idea...he hasn't let me down yet though anyway don't you worry about it you lay down and rest Auntie.. You must be so tired" she said, kissing her head and walking out making Lady smile a little as she closed her eyes.
Nico came back with a shovel "Yo, Lady, wake up! It's time to get to work."
Lady groaned, " I was just told to get some rest."
Nico smiled and sarcastically said "Aww, you were just told to get some rest? Well, we need to make a path, so start digging."
Lady gets up and drops the cloth, sighing as Nico said " -C'mon, get up, get up, get up!"
Lady sighed asking "got anything to wear that's good for digging?"
….
As Jackie and D split up their paths were parallel and they soon met up again before coming across some new demons Proto Angelo & Scudo Angelo.
Jackie saw them and giggled "hey nice love the knights of the round table look"
D however looked angry when he saw them "bastards...all of you are going to die"
Jackie pulled out her sword "that's the plan D...get with it man"
…..
After they both defeated them they jumped off the platform that was heading towards a cliff.
As they landed Jackie turned to D "what ya tired or something?"
D looked around "No..just..remembering something, this town was attacked a long time ago, before...I remember I was playing right here.." he pointed "..and that's the house over there still standing somehow….this is where we split again sweetheart… catch ya later"
Jackie spoke "oh come on D look at all the fun we have together.."
D chuckled "sorry to end it so soon..but I gotta find something just in case this all goes wrong..bye now"

Jacqueline had fought her way through the more infested side of town all the way through the qliphoth back to Alleri.
As she walked to the doors she was worried she'd see Vergil dead but when she walked in all she saw was Alleri sitting on his throne but the red crystal weapon he had was no longer there instead there was something new it was a red and black glowing large gem "miss me asshole?...Where is my Dad at? And what did you do with my Mo-..." she gasped as she saw her mother hanging from above her clothes were mostly gone, what was left was ripped and tattered and her body was bruised and bleeding in places.
Alleri saw Jacqueline and tilted his head "back for more really? You're like a buzzing bee, just a nuisance."
Jackie growled angrily "I'll kill you for hurting my mom… you won't be talking all that shit when I kick your ass now will you? Alleri what kind of name is that? Your parents must have hated you the vindictive bastards"
Alleri didn't reply to that.
Jackie's eyes burned glowing red as she walked forward "too much to handle my ass Dad" she said as she charged at Alleri.
Alleri said "that's it come to die"
….
Finally after fighting so long Jackie managed to slash across Alleri's hand but was swatted away like a fly sending her flying back.
Jackie giggled on the floor laughing breathlessly "finally drew some blood….take that asshole!"
Alleri just stared at the wound as if fascinated all the sudden he made a horrifying unruly sound it sounded like he was screaming in pain but as it went on it started to sound sarcastic as it then turned to maniacal laughter "you ...you hit me… all that for a few drops of blood"

as D and his familiars are continuing to look for the devil sword Sparda, until he stumbles upon some demons.
Griffon sees them dancing and mutters "the hell?"
When he came back D asked him "You found it?"

D asked "well that's not what we're looking for is it?...you're useless, I know it's close I can feel it."

A little onwards Griffon asked "You think Vergil's dead?"

Soon D made it to the dancing demons and was confused "the fuck are they doing?" he then saw the Sparda and smiled "finally"
Griffon said "Whoa this is some kind of ritual shindig, isn't it? You guys got the dance fever for Sparda, huh?"
D looked over them "sorry boys the sword is coming with me"

D takes out a Qliphoth root, which breaks down a structure and lands Sparda to the ground. D tries to wield it but he can't "argh FUCK!"
Griffon tells him "So close, though, so close. You got a lot of heart, kid, you really do, but you're a bit of a sissy in the strength department. Hey, hey, no offense, uh, you know."
D smiles then "well like I said….it's not for me"
Shadow growls calling for D what it's found.
D looks over the cliff "...Vergil" he says spotting him.
Griffon flies down, seeing Vergil in a coma. His hair is grown and hanging down while covered in blood, which in turn was the Qliphoth's work.
D stops a moment and just thinks "hmm...what to do what to do" he says before turning and Griffon asks "hey what are you doing?..where are you going? Vergil can wield the Sparda"
D shook his head smiling "that will not happen ...I have a much better idea" he said continuing to walk away holding the Sparda.

D makes his way back inside the Qliphoth shortly before Jacqueline's arrival Griffon asks him "what are you doing? You think you can take Alleri by yourself?!"
D just chuckled shaking his head "You'll see….you'll see"
He walks in and sees Alleri.
Alleri glares at him "You…. leave me alone get away from me I don't need you anymore"
D replies "I see that… got something for you though I want a trade"
Alleri sees the devil sword sparda and sits up "give it to me"
D replies "yes….in exchange for the Yamato..you no longer need it"
Alleri summons the Yamato and drops it in front of him "...now the Sparda...and then you leave and never come near me again"
D nods with a sinister looking grin as he takes the Yamato and hands the Sparda to Alleri and leaves as he was told he then saw Trish hanging from above unconscious and hurt with tattered clothes "let her go.."
Alleri told him "Never, She belongs to me! Now leave!"
D wanted to fight and save Trish but.. He was no match for Alleri.

When D came back he found Vergil was still there. He pulled him off the structure and laid him down "mmm now you…"
Griffon looks over Vergil "he's alive! This is...how does one guy have so much luck"
D's hand started to shake as he heard those words and pulled out Yamato.
Griffon asks "uhh D..what are you doing?"
D growled "it's him...it's always him..this would have never happened… if only you had never been born...Then…!" D moved the Yamato down as if to stab Vergil with Griffon screaming at him not to.

As Eva closed the doors Vergil watched as his mother ran screaming for Dante "Dante? Where are you, Dante!?"

Vergil stormed over to him "where did he go?!" he growled.

King Cerberus replied "You have fought our kin in the past…"
"But I am king of the Cerberus tribe!"
"They were weak! But WE will feast on your flesh... and gnaw on your bones!"
Vergil simply shook his head "I've heard it all before you all make the same claim...and just like the others you will die"

After Vergil defeated King Cerberus he gained it's soul as his weapon. It was similar to the last but this one had three different forms which Vergil liked as he made it turn into a staff and used it to smash the ground open so he could move forward.

Vergil lands on the ground close to what looks like the Sparda Manor, while Alleri is preparing to ripe the fruit of the Qliphoth.
Vergil sees the fruit and calls to Alleri "Dante!...so this is it? This is what it's all for?"
Alleri turns to him "that's right...you took everything from me..but no longer!"
Vergil looks around the place "this all started...here ...the day mother saved me and left you"

As Vergil and Alleri fought each other Jacqueline asked D "They're brothers? Why are they fighting each other?"
D replies "because Vergil has taken everything from Dante…. The only thing left for Dante to do..is defeat his brother"
When they finally arrive they see Vergil victorious.
Alleri is on the ground defeated at last.
Jackie asked Vergil "that's really your brother, my uncle?"
Vergil nodded "I'm afraid it is"
D walked forward towards Alleri "lost again I see"

Vergil calls "D step away...I'll finish this"
D turns "No!...please I have to do this...this is why I came all this way"

The dying D begins to walk closer to the damaged-up Alleri before standing on top of him "don't struggle anymore….it's all over now….we're far better together then we ever were apart" he said raising his cane about to stab down into Alleri.
Vergil realised the truth and ran forward to try and stop D but it was too late as D struck down into Alleri I huge red beam shot up into the sky powerful enough to shatter the illusion of the Sparda Manor. The flash of light dies down as a visible figure appears, with the Sparda in his hand.
Jackie asked Vergil "what the fuck is going on?!"
Vergil just stared as he saw the figure "Dante"
Dante slowly turned around seeing Vergil and Jacqueline. He had a big grin on his face and held out his arms outstretched "did ya miss me?!" he said before laughing to himself.
Vergil ran ahead of Jacqueline to attack Dante.
Dante stopped and looked almost excited "ooh ohh here he comes again… aaaaaand BOOM!" he said punching Vergil so hard it sent him flying backwards towards Jacqueline.
Vergil slowly gets to his feet "stay back Jacqueline!" he said charging at Dante who blocked the attack with The Sparda
Dante grinned at Vergil "hey bro….as much as I would love to kick your ass down the street and back...right now you're weak and wounded so it would be like kicking a man while he's down...so you rest up and after that… I will kick your ass!" he said before sweeping Vergil off his feet and kicking him, sending him flying back to Jackie.
Dante looks at Jackie and winks "couldn't have done it without you sweetheart.." he said before turning into his devil trigger and flying away to the top of the Qliphoth.
Jackie is left confused by it all as she looks to Vergil "if he's your brother then...what happened to D?"
Vergil replied "he returned to his other half...I see now I'm such a fool he split himself in two with the Yamato…..go back Jacqueline this no longer concerns you"
Jackie said "the fuck it doesn't!"
Vergil turned back to her "you don't understand"

Lady was so worried about them "you better both come back!"

Meanwhile Jackie was running down the Qliphoth, until Nico and her van appeared next to her.

You take my girlfriend, you take my apple...I leave you with rebellion and you go and fucking break it.." he pulled out the hilt of rebellion "look what the fuck am I supposed to do with that!?" he said till he realised something "wait a minute...if the Yamato separates man from devil ...then.." suddenly Dante grinned as he stabbed himself with rebellion and absorbed the sparda into him.
Suddenly Dante transformed into his sin devil trigger and a new sword appeared in his hand, the legendary devil sword Dante.
Vergil just shook his head "you power hungry fool… stop fighting...look what it has done to us, to everything"
Dante told him "oh shut up… you wouldn't even have let me keep my amulet I saw you reach out and try to grab it before I fell"
Vergil raised his voice "I wasn't reaching for the amulet I was reaching for you!"
Dante froze at that as he thought in his head for a moment before saying "No..you're lying"
Vergil pulled Yamato out "last chance...stop this"
Dante grinned "make me" he said as the brother's charged at each other.

After the brothers fought each other
Dante slowly got to his feet "you motherfucker….I hate you..you know that?"
Vergil replied "what else is new?"
Dante chuckled "come on...I think it's about time we close the final chapter here"
Vergil nodded "I agree ...this is the end" he said as they charged once more against each other, both of them in devil form this time.
Just as they were about to collide with each other something stopped them holding them apart. There was a red demoness with large red wings holding them away from each other before pushing them both so hard it sent them flying into the walls behind them.
The demoness slowly changed into Jacqueline "this is going to stop ...right now"
Vergil stood walking to Jackie "Jacqueline I told you to stay out of -"
Jacqueline pushed her palm flat into Vergil's chest stopping him there "and I lied and told you I wouldn't… I'm not sorry dad but I can't let you both fight.. He's my uncle, you're my family"
Dante froze "Dad?.. Uncle? She's… you're Vergil's daughter?"
Jacqueline walked over to Dante "yeah.. Hi uncle Dante" she said, hugging him making Dante gasp as his eyes widened.
Dante looked at Vergil and slowly hugged Jacqueline back "I don't.. What the fuck?" he said in confusion.
Trish slowly woke up and saw what was happening and she knew now her worst fear and greatest dream was now right in front of her, she had to tell them the truth. She stood up and said "No.."
Everyone turned to Trish who continued "... Jackie.. That's not your uncle… he's your father"
Nobody spoke a word after that Vergil looked most confused of all "Trish.. What are you talking about?"
Jacqueline looked to Vergil and then Dante then back to her mother "Mom… what's going on?"
Trish's eyes filled with tears as she cried "Dante.. I didn't leave you, I had to get our daughter to a safe place.."
Dante looked back to Jacqueline "our… our daughter?"
Jacqueline looked at Dante in shock and then back to Vergil who looked heartbroken, No he looked just broken.
Trish cried looking at Vergil "that's why I lied and told Vergil that she was his… I had to make sure she'd be safe."
Vergil dropped Yamato and fell to his knees as he looked at Jacqueline with tears filling his eyes. His daughter wasn't HIS daughter.
Dante actually felt horrible for Vergil; he looked back to Trish furious "why? You don't think Vergil would have helped look after her if he knew she was mine?! Look at him! You've broken his damned heart!" Dante was surprisingly coming to Vergil's side.
Trish walked closer to them "I'm sorry! I didn't know what to do!"
Dante yelled "you should have told the fucking truth! Shit Trish!"
Jacqueline knelt in front of Vergil and hugged him; she just didn't know what to say. Vergil wrapped his arms around her, he was shaking, he didn't want to let her go.
Dante was glaring at Trish when everyone felt a quake as the Qliphoth was still spreading "damn it!"
Vergil stood straight wiping his eyes and releasing Jacqueline he picked up Yamato and gave a cold look to Trish before looking to Jacqueline "I must go, I'll cut the roots in the underworld and seal the way"
Dante turned to him "what? No wait hey Vergil I'm coming with" Vergil didn't reply he just walked to the edge
Jacqueline gasped "wait no you can't leave!.. You both… if you go you won't be able to come back"
Vergil turned to her "we will return, I'll find a way.. I promise"
Jacqueline's eyes filled with tears "Dad.." she called him even though the truth was out.
Vergil's heart broke further in his chest as he told her "I'm not your father…" he said and it broke him to say it to more when he saw the heartbroken look on her face as tears began to fill her eyes Vergil turned away and jumped off the edge.
Dante looked at his daughter and reached to touch her but just before his hand touched her face he pulled back "I.. fuck.. Damn it" he looked at Trish and just pointed at her "this is…" he didn't even finish he just turned back to Jacqueline "I'm sorry sweetheart.. For everything" he told her before jumping off the edge following Vergil.
Jacqueline cried "WAIT!..." she sobbed falling to her knees she felt so weak she wanted her father back and she wanted the man who raised her as his daughter back.
Trish came up behind her hugging her "I'm sorry baby, I never wanted this to happen"

As Vergil and Dante landed in hell Dante asked "So all we gotta do is cut this thing down?"
Vergil replied "That's right. I'm more than capable of handling this on my own."
Dante told him "hey Vergil… I'm sorry man, really I am"
Vergil put Yamato at Dante's throat "don't" he warned not wanting to speak of it.
Dante slowly nodded with his hands raised "alright…"
Vergil said "now, don't get in my way"
Dante smirked "took the words.. Right outta my mouth" he said as they both charged towards the roots.

Everyone in the human world watched as the qliphoth fell apart stopping the underworld from taking over.
