Repsaj began to smile after Ailicec was in his arms. After Repsaj kissed Ailicec, he released her. He usually protected King Kooh from enemies or looked after a pet sphinx for entire afternoons. Occasionally compared King Kooh to animals if the latter appeared and ordered him to
battle others. Repsaj was usually careful about crossing him. He refused to recall King Kooh removing his eye for disagreeing with him.
Repsaj scowled with Ailicec when King Kooh appeared. He almost mentioned animals in his bedroom when he remembered his eye.
''Protect your king from enemies this instant.''
Tensing, Repsaj nodded and viewed tears in Ailicec's eyes. He released her and went to King Kooh. Repsaj turned to Ailicec and smiled for a split second.
Minutes later, Repsaj battled a handful of King Kooh's enemies with a whip. His eye widened as soon as his arm was seized.
Repsaj eventually returned to Ailicec and viewed worry in her eyes. He couldn't and wouldn't recall the enemy breaking his arm.
King Kooh disarming the man and causing him to flee.
After Repsaj wrapped his arm around Ailicec, he smiled again.
''I'm going to be fine,'' Repsaj said.
