"Thanks for the hard work!"

Mimete's taunting yet fake, sweet voice was the last thing Eudial heard before her car crashed inside the water. Upon behind submerge, the witch only had a few seconds to react. Firmly gripping the wheel, she immediately accelerated underwater, using the submarine function of her car to drive, while the water level was dangerously rising because of the hole underneath thanks to the removed brake.

If she didn't get out of there quickly she would drown!

She already felt so exhausted and in pain after her previous fight with the Sailor Senshis, this really wasn't the time for this. But the adrenaline, given by the sense of emergency and will to survive, kept her going. The water level had reached her shoulders but she kept driving, desperately clinging to life.

She will show them all. She won't die here. She can't. She won't give them that satisfaction- especially not to her!

"Screw you, Mimete! You won't be the end of me!"

Eudial could see land from afar and accelerated, betting it all. As there were no brakes anymore, she would most likely crash, but she didn't care. She had faith she could make it alive. She simply couldn't die now.

"Waaaaarrrggghhhh!"

She barely got outside of the water when she indeed ran into something. The shock was brutal- she saw stars upon the impact and everything went dark for a moment.

When Eudial came back to her senses, she grunted. Her head hurt like hell. She must have hit it when she crashed. Blood was dripping from her scalp, but something too serious.

"Ugh…"

Now that she was on dry land, the water level had started to go down thanks to the hole in her car- it was now only reaching her waist. Eudial weakly reached for the handle and opened the door, letting most of the remaining water flow outside. She hardly got out of her car and immediately collapsed on the land- sand. This was a beach.

Eudial was left panting and gasping. Her entire body was in such pain- but she survived. Her body may be battered, bruised and bloodied, she was alive. The pain was proof of it.

Still lying on the ground, she slowly looked around, noticing that she was on an island- her car crashed in some rocky hill, close from a small forest.

There was only one natural island in Tokyo Bay- Sarushima. A now deserted island mostly used for tourism, though right now it wasn't the period for this. So she was most likely alone.

"That's just my luck huh…" she sighed.

She failed once again. She lost the talismans, was beaten by the Sailor Senshis, and her own ally tried to murder her. Was there any point in continuing anymore? She had the feeling she was probably not welcome among the Witches 5 anymore, or even the Death Busters as a whole, and quite frankly, she wasn't sure if she wanted to go back.

Screw those double-faced jerks who spoke behind her back, especially Mimete, that little hypocritical backstabbing bitch! Things were much better when Kaolinite was still in charge. Eudial was forced to admit that when she died, things went south. The other Witches 5 didn't respect her as their new leader and Professor Tomoe was incompetent- she wasn't afraid to be honest about this now. He was a fool with silly plans and she would have been better off on her own.

With what Mimete did, they probably all think she perished in that car crash… good. She had no intention to go back to the Death Buster. They don't deserve her. They can all go to hell for all she cared…

But, one day, she will have her revenge on all those who wronged her. The Sailor Senshis, the other Witches 5, especially Mimete, they will all pay to have made a fool out of her. But not now.

After all, revenge was a dish best served cold- and reheat with a Fire Buster!

Mimete's entire body was shivering as she was face to face with her old colleague whom she thought was dead- for the very good reason that she was behind her death in the first place.

But no, there she was, very much alive and well, and clearly pissed.

"What is it, Mimete? You've got nothing to say? It looks like you just saw a ghost," Eudial taunted.

"...Eudial… senpai…" Mimete weakly mumbled.

"I've been waiting for this day for so long… The day I'll make you pay for everything you've done to me!"

"Eek…!"

Mimete quickly hid behind Sailor Mars.

"That's defnitely the enemy you've been having premonitions about!" Mimete suddenly said. "Go, beat her up! Now!"

"Hey, you've got some nerve!" Mars scolded. "You're in no position to give us orders. And you can only blame yourself for that!"

"Eh….!?"

"Mimete, you coward… seeking help from our enemies…!" Eudial said. "You always have done that, leeching on people whenever it's convenient to you… you did it to me, you probably did it to Professor Tomoe, and now you went as low as to do it with the Sailor Senshis…"

"Hey, who are you calling a leech, you damn snail woman…!?"

Eudial seemed ready to launch her Fire Buster at any second now and Sailor Moon immediately got between them.

"W-Wait…! I perfectly understand your frustration, trust us we know how annoying Mimete is-"

"H-Hey!"

"But, there has to be another way… There are no more Death Busters, so fighting is pointless," Sailor Moon continued. "So can we at least try to talk this out?"

Eudial sneered at that.

"I doubt that you can understand."

"Oh, believe me, we do get it!" Mars replied. "We've been stuck with Mimete all day and it's not like we don't understand the desire to get rid of her…"

"Oy…!"

"But there has to be a more peaceful way to deal with this situation, right?" Mercury added.

"I'm afraid that I'm not here to have a chat, but revenge."

"Against Mimete?" Jupiter asked.

"Against all of you."

As she said that, Eudial fingers were now on the trigger on her flamethrower.

"For being such pain in the-"

"Wait, senpai!" Mimete suddenly exclaimed.

Eudial slightly lowered her weapon.

"What?" she asked, annoyed.

"You know, I learned something today. Apparently, killing is actually frowned upon!"

"Huh, is that so," Eudial said, unimpressed, as she aimed at them. "Anyway. FIRE BUSTER!"

"Kyaaa…!"

They all jumped to the floor to avoid Eudial's attack. The flames hit a random game machine that immediately exploded upon impact.

"Waaaa!"

"Impressed? This is the Fire Buster III. Be prepared for divine retribution!" Eudial yelled.

"Ugh, you're such a dork, senpai…"

"Shut up! Go to hell, Mimete!"

"No, you go back from the hell you crawled from!" Mimete replied as she conjured her witch staff. "Charm Buster!"

Dark stars were thrown towards Eudial, who quickly dodged it, ready to launch another Fire Buster.

"WORLD SHAKING!"

Eudial was forced to cancel her imminent attack to avoid this one, recoiling enough to get closer to her car.

"Who…!?" she exclaimed.

"Invited by a new age, Sailor Uranus, appearing magnificently!"

"Also invited by a new age, Sailor Neptune, fighting gracefully!"

Uranus and Neptune made their entrance into the arcade. Eudial looked beyond furious for a moment before she grinned.

"You two…! Eh, that's just perfect. All the sailor nuisances are here. I can burn you all to a crisp together!"

"Pff, idiot, there aren't all here," Mimete said. "Sailor Venus is missing, ha!"

"..." Minako remained silent.

"So you were right, it really was the Death Buster," Uranus said.

"Eudial and Mimete it seems," Neptune added.

"And it doesn't seem like you are allies… why are you back?" Uranus asked.

"Especially you Mimete… how?"

"Tsk, it's none of your business!" Mimete replied.

"I'm here for retribution! FIRE BUSTER!" Eudial said as she aimed at them.

"Deep Submerge!"

Neptune's attack blocked Eudial's Fire Buster, extinguishing it, much to her dismay.

"Dammit…! This is why I hate water! Among other things…"

"That's a shame, swimming is quite pleasant," Neptune sneered.

"No thank you, I have bad experiences regarding that!"

Eudial glanced at everyone with resentment.

"This isn't over! I'll make you all pay! Especially you, Mimete!" she said as she got back inside her car and drove again.

"Yeah, run away, you big dork!" Mimete said, sticking her tongue.

"World Shaking!"

"Ehhhh!?"

Mimete jumped backward to dodge the attack.

"What…? I have nothing to do with this!" Mimete yelled.

Before Uranus could attack her a second-time Mimete ran away by the hole made by Eudial's car.

"She's escaping! After her!" Uranus exclaimed.

Neptune nodded and they both ran after Mimete.

"W-Wait!" Sailor Moon said, but it was too late.

Uranus and Neptune were gone, and so was Mimete.

Mimete was running for her life, feeling a sense of urgency to get away from those two.

"They are not like those other Sailor Senshis," she thought. "They might actually kill me...!"

She ran to a nearby woods, hoping she could escape from them and hide there.

"Dead Scream!"

"What!?"

Mimete barely had a split-second to dodge that attack. Much to her horror, Sailor Pluto was now facing her.

"Protected by Pluto, the Planet of Space-Time. I am Sailor Pluto, Guardian of Revolution."

"Dammit...! I forgot about that one...!"

"Silence Glaive Surprise!"

"Ehhh!?"

Mimete immediately jumped to the ground to dodge another attack coming from behind.

"Who...?"

Mimete looked behind and was welcomed by the sight of a sailor senshi she didn't know, younger than the others and armed with a scythe.

"W-Who the hell are you...!?"

"Protected by Saturn, the Planet of Destruction. I am Sailor Saturn, Guardian of Silence!"

"Huh!? Sailor Saturn?! Not fair! I don't even know you, so why are you attacking me? How rude!"

Mimete tried to run away from those two, in vain.

"Deep Submerge!"

This time, she wasn't fast enough to dodge. She was hit right in the back by Neptune's attack.

"Aaaaarghhhh!"

Mimete roughly collapsed to the ground, inert. She was still conscious but decided to play dead. Who knows, that might work and make them leave.

"We know you are still awake," Uranus said.

"We are not bears, I'm afraid that won't work on us," Neptune added.

"And bears won't actually leave if you pretend to be dead," Pluto clarified.

The four outer senshis were now surrounding her. Mimete felt chills all over her body. Maybe if she continued to ignore them they would leave her alone...

"World-"

Mimete jumped up, although still kneeling on the ground.

"W-Wait, please! I surrender!"

"This isn't about you surrendering," Uranus replied.

"Eek! Are you really going to kill me!? I haven't done anything wrong!"

"Wow, that's a big understatement..." Neptune commented.

"This isn't fair! You are four and I'm alone and you're all ganging up on me!"

"You... do you realize in what situation you are?" Pluto asked.

"How about you call you buddies then? Aren't you called the Witches 'Five'?" Uranus added.

"You guys beat them all up! And they are not my buddies!"

"Sounds like a you problem," Neptune said.

"Ehhh!?"

Things seemed lost. Those guys wouldn't give up. They were most likely going to kill her…

She couldn't die now. Not after escaping from that damn device and finally getting a chance for a better life, not after… making a true friend. She desperately wanted to live.

There was only one last thing left to do.

"Please… don't kill me…! I don't want to die!" Mimete started to beg. "I swear I'm not going to cause you any more trouble so please, forgive me…!"

"It's… it's not about forgiving you, this is our mission…" Uranus replied, taken aback.

Mimete started to cry, much to their surprise.

"I won't get in the way of your mission either, I swear…!"

"Again, you really don't get it, do you…?" Pluto said.

Mimete continued to cry. This felt awkward. If this was any usual monster, they would have already dealt with it and eliminated it, but with Mimete, she just felt so… human.

This was really off-putting.

Saturn suddenly took a few steps towards Mimete who immediately shrieked in terror.

"Eek! W-What are you going to do…!?"

The Guardian of Silence didn't answer and simply raised her hand. Mimete cowered in fear when Saturn's was seemingly about to strike her…

But instead, she softly laid her hand on her head.

"Your body… it already grew so cold," Saturn began sadly. "Just like my father."

"...Eh?"

"You forgot who you used to be, don't you? You have been corrupted, and became a host for those evil entities from another world… poor thing. I know how it feels like."

"Saturn, do you mean she used to be…?" Uranus began to say.

She then looked at Neptune, who was consulting her mirror.

"Hmm… my vision is blurry, but it seems like someone else existed before. Something is clouding my mirror, but I can definitely see the outline of a past life…"

"... What are you talking about?" Mimete asked, suddenly getting annoyed.

"Shh. Be quiet. You might get to live," Uranus said.

"Eek, sorry…!"

"...Anyway, what do we do with her? Should we tell Sailor Moon?" Uranus asked.

"Why do I have the feeling they are already aware…" Neptune replied.

Uranus chuckled at that.

"That sounds just like Bun Head. Of course she would want to help her. After all, if it wasn't for her," she said, glancing at Saturn.

Mimete wasn't really sure she fully understood what happened but it seemed like they weren't going to kill her. Good. That was all that mattered to her.

Being able to cry at will surely was useful sometimes.

Uranus' phone suddenly rang and she answered it.

"Oh, Sailor Moon. Yes, we got her. Don't worry, we haven't killed her," Uranus reassured. "Don't worry, we get it. And we do intend to help you. You can count on us."

Well, looks like Eudial isn't looking for redemption- she's here for retribution. And really, who can blame her.

This fic takes place theoretically after season 4 when Saturn and Pluto are reawakened, but before Stars. So right after the Nehelenia filler arc. Also, although I'm mostly following the anime canon, in my fic Professor Tomoe is deceased just like in the manga as the fact he's still alive is to me a big plot hole in the anime. No offence to the guy, I love him as a villain, but I prefer the manga outcome where the outers become their own family.
