Well, this is exciting. You've clicked on my story…congrats! Here, if you come along for the ride, you'll read about the enchanting tale of an alternate universe Lily, James and co., and about their exciting summer. Isn't that just great? Isn't it exciting? Doesn't it sound like the best thing since sliced bread?
Moving on.
Below is some information you should know about the tale of an alternate universe Lily, James and co., before reading.
-Rated T, meaning it, according to this site, is 'Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.
-Takes place in the summer of 1978 in Paris, France.
-Lily attends Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and has never heard of James Potter or any of the Marauders
-Lily is class of 79 while Marauders and co are class of 78. Yes, this means Lily is indeed a year younger than James. Don't ask why I just wanted it this way.
-Both the Evans and the Potter's are very wealthy families
-Petunia is the same age as James and co.
-The Evans live in Paris, France
-The Potters live in Britain
I think that's all. And now below is the intro to Paris Sunsets.
Paris. Sunsets
Hello there.
I'm Lily Evans. I was sixteen-years-old when the best summer of my life happened, and I had just currently finished my sixth year of study at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in Paris, France. No, I'm not French. I'm actually British. Mum and Dad decided to move to France when I was eleven and my older Sister Petunia was twelve. They wanted us to experience something more than just Britain. I minded at first; I had to leave my schoolmates and neighborhood friends, and the idea of attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry behind, but I got used to it.
My sixth year had ended two weeks ago, and I was on summer holiday. Normally summer holiday's were a bore. I usually had to stay home the whole two months…Dad didn't like when Petunia and I went out too much; he was always paranoid that we'd go around and jump the first boy we see. I do have my standards. As for Petunia…well, moving on.
So as this summer began I was sure it'd be the same as any other…countless hours in the library of our manor, reading all of the books for about the thirtieth time, but I was wrong. Turns out this summer was going to be the most interesting summer Petunia, Livvie (a close friend of ours), and I would ever have.
We came to meet interesting new people (boys, Dad, imagine that!), and we experienced summer in Paris to its fullest. I still remember each day, and I think I always will.
