Prologue-timeline and history of Brazil

1930-A year has passed since the Great Depression or the 1929 crisis, the entire world had its economies affected, especially Brazil, after the republic was proclaimed on November 25th, 1889, Brazil was experiencing political and financial problems.

The people did not accept the republic and had several economic crises, when the Great Depression occurred, in setember 7th, 1937, a political group based on Italian Nationalist Fascism called A.I.B. "Ação Integralista Brasileira" (BRAZILIAN INTEGRALIST ACTION) led by Plínio Salgado, with the support of the house of Orleans and Bragança led by the greatgrandson of the former Emperor D. Pedro II, Pedro de Alcântara Henrique de Orléans and Bragança or D. Pedro III.

Together they carried out a coup d'état( in french literally meaning a "stroke of state" or "blow of state") and overthrew the old republic in the so-called "Integralist and Imperialist Revolution" or "Revolution of 37", on September 7, 1937, Prince Pedro de Alcântara Henrique de Orléans and Bragança assumed the throne and was named third Emperor do Brasil and Plínio Salgado as prime minister.

1937-1938-After of the Revolution of 37, the country went through a great government and economic reform, during the 2 years of reforms and economic growth, the country grew and strengthened to the point of not depending much on foreigners, having industries and producing domestic products. The Integralist Empire of Brazil is the third largest economy in the world.

1938-1939-Brazil reformed the army and increased the number of combatants, the country modernized its armed forces and produced weapons and equipment locally, the tanks are a variation of the American, British, German and Russian tanks.

The Brazilian Air Force was created with last-generation aircraft and the Brazilian Navy was reformed, creating a strong fleet of aircraft carriers, battleships, light and heavy cruisers destroyers and submarines, based on design of the American, British, Italian, Japanese and German.

The Brazilian intelligence and espionage agency was created and has become one of the best spy agencies in the world.

Brazil began its expansion plan on April 5, 1938, Brazil annexed Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, and became the second largest country in the world, and while the League of Nations protested, but did nothing.

For two years, Brazil sold arms and equipment to both sides, Germany dominated all of Western Europe and isolated England in the British Isles, in June 1941 Germany attacked the Soviet Union and conquered the entire western Soviet, it seemed that the Soviet Union would fall but on December 7, 1941, the tide of war would shift after that day in favor of the Allies.

1941-1945-On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan attacked the naval base of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, only Japan did not know that the base had Brazilian ships and soldiers, the attack also killed soldiers and damaged the ships from brazil, the countries were extremely furious and indignant, a cowardly attack without an official declaration was against the morale and honor of a battle.

The next day, after the attack, Prime Minister Plinio Salgado traveled to Washington DC to meet Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the senate, they delivered a speech that has gone down in history, saying Japan's cowardice in attacking without a statement, and that December 7th had been marked as the day of infamy and cowardice.

Brazil promised that it would enter the war on the side of the allies, if the Guianas, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana were annexed to Brazilian territory, the allies were reluctant at first, but they saw that with the military, air and naval power that Brazil had , they reluctantly agreed, and on December 11, Brazil officially declared war on the axis, severing ties with Germany, Italy and Japan.

In early 1942, Brazil helped American convoys cross the Atlantic where there were many German submarine attacks, and entered an epic fight with an Italian fleet in the Mediterranean Sea, captured half of the French Vichy fleet and some Italian ships, and helped James Doolittle attack the Japanese capital Tokyo.

On the 4th and 7th of June 1942 they defeated the Japanese at Midway destroying 6 aircraft carriers, 8 light and heavy cruisers, 5 battleships and 14 destroyers. In 1943 they participated in Operation Torch, expelled the Germans and Italians from Africa and conquered the islands Sardinia and Corsica, on June 6, 1944, Brazil landed in the south of France with the allies to the north.

In the final months of the war, the Allies entered German territory and faced a horrible sight, concentration camps, where Jews, Gypsies, prisoners of war, political opponents, the physically handicapped were forced to work to death or were exterminated in the chambers. of gas, a sight so horrible that Brazilian soldiers took out their anger and hatred on the Nazi and SS fanatics and lunatics, in April a Brazilian special force together with the Italian resistance captured Benito Mussolini and executed him in a public square in Rome, Italy surrenders and then Germany surrenders after Hitler's suicide, ending the war in Europe, but not in the Pacific.

Japan refused to surrender, even after losing the islands occupied by Brazilians and Americans, the two countries planned to invade the Japanese main island, but the cost would be too high, so 3 atomic bombs were dropped, in Hiroshima, Nagasaki and in Kure naval shipyard, on September 2, 1945, Japan finally surrendered, after 6 years, the war is finally over.

1946-1950-After the war, Brazil emerged as a world superpower, militarily, economically and technologically, but in 1950 an event happened, an event where the country and the South American continent were teleported to a new world.
