To be left, left behind. That Ginny couldn't bear thinking about. But she had too because she was, left behind.
The words he said to her were forever going to remain as an echo in her head. "I love you". It was the first and only time he had said those words to her. Why in the end? He had plenty of time saying it, but he hadn't. Was he afraid, afraid of love. She couldn't blame him for it. Everybody he ever loved was gone. His parents, Sirius and even Dumbledore.
Was he saying it because of? No she wouldn't believe that. In fact, how could se even think of it? Or? Was he saying it because he he might not get the chance again.
Only thinking of it maid tears build up behind her eyes. And then imagine how it would feel for him. To maybe loose another person he loved.
Why he didn't bring her, was what she couldn't understand. Surely, he had told her that she would be in great danger if she'd come and that he didn't want to loose her, but at the same time breaking apart in her arms and telling her he never wanted to be without her. Her chocolate brown eyes, red flaming hair and beautiful smile.
When he finally left accompanied by Hermione and Ron, when he said those three magical words to her, She knew he would come back and he knew she'd be waiting for him.
