Lorelai pulled into her drive way and saw the Volvo and instantly felt sick with nerves- she hadn't expected Christopher to be back so early. She got out of her jeep and slowly walked into her house.

"Where have you been?" Chris asked,

"Erm…at the inn, why are you back so early? Where's Gigi?",

"Gigi is staying at my moms so I thought I'd come back early and surprise my wife…."

"You've left your kid at your moms on Christmas Day?"

"Well it's not really our Christmas Day is it? You made sure of that. Where were you?"

"At the Dragonfly, I told you"

"Don't lie to me Lorelai, I went to the Dragonfly to surprise you, they said they hadn't seen you all day. So where were you?"

"Erm…I…..I…..went to see Luke…"

"You've got to be kidding me Lor?" Chris came closer to Lorelai and started shouting in her face "you screwed him didn't you?",

"No i didn't screw him, he's my friend and I knew he was alone today, I didn't plan to go there Chris, I was driving passed and I don't know, I just wanted to check in with my friend. I'm sorry, ok?"

"What exactly are you telling me you're sorry for Lor? Going to HIM, lying to me about it or something else that you're not telling me?"

"All of it. I'm sorry for upsetting you by going there but I'm not sorry for checking in on my friend. We wouldn't be having this fight if it was Sookie I went to see….but I am sorry for lying to you about it",

"So how is he? How's your precious diner guy?"

"Diner guy? Chris, come on"

"Don't Chris come on me Lor, I know you…..you're not done with him",

"Chris, I'm sorry"

"Sorry for what?"

" I think you're right. I'm not done with him, I'm so sorry. I tried so hard to be done with him…."

"I don't believe this, I really don't believe this….Lorelai what the hell is wrong with you? Going from guy to guy and not giving a damn who you hurt in the process?"

"Excuse me, I don't go from guy to guy"

"No you just rotate the same couple of guys for whichever one fits at that time",

"I think you should go Chris, please go to your moms, cool off and we can talk tomorrow or something?"

"I'm going to go, but not to my mums, I'm pretty sure when it was the other way around that diner guy punched me in the face, it's only polite that I get to return the favour",

Christopher made his way to the door, Lorelai quickly chased behind him,

"Chris please don't" she pleased whilst she reached to grab his arm, he pulled away from her grip and pushed her. Lorelai crashed into the wall and instantly felt the pain in her back. She stayed on the floor and began to cry. Chris was shocked, he never intended to hurt her "I'm sorry Lorelai" he said as he left, heading straight for the diner.
