Chapter Six: What Do You Wanna Do? (REDUX)

WARNING: This chapter has a slight depiction of sexual assualt, if you do not wish to encounter this, skip that section.

It had been a few days since then, Jirou's parents had realized what had happened and the meeting between the two parents was less than ideal. Mika and Kyoutoku had felt like terrible parents for leaving their daughter the way they did, especially after being scolded by Jirou.

But now things were back to normal and Jirou and Midoriya had kept up their training with All Might for the next few months. The entrance exam was getting closer and closer, and everyone was getting antsy, though All Might had a different reason entirely.

"Young Midoriya." All Might called, beckoning the boy to him. Jirou had been busy trying to destroy rocks, and other hard materials with her heartbeat to increase the effectiveness of her attacks, which left the two men to discuss One For All without her.

As Midoriya reached All Might the man laid a hand on his shoulder, and crouched down to his height seeing as he was more than a foot taller than the boy. Especially at this point in his life.

"Your progress has been astonishing, my boy. I have to say I think you've surpassed my expectations and… I believe your body is ready to inherit my quirk." He exclaimed, turning into his muscle form as the sunrise illuminated their faces.

Midoriya started to tear up, did he really have the capabilities now? But the plan was to have the quirk by the entrance exam, he had a little more than a week left! Maybe that week could be used for quirk training? Oh god, the greenette was just way too excited for what was to come.

"Are you ready, Young Midoriya? You are about to become the ninth user of One For All." All Might questioned, wanting to make sure that he was prepared for the last time before he could no longer refuse the proposition.

The boy had more than enough spirit, he showed true courage time and time again and now it seemed that even his body wanted to surpass all expectations so he could become the hero he so desperately desired to become. It was almost as if it were fate that he'd be chosen.

Midoriya nods, determined to finally take the next big step towards his dream. "Yes, sir! I won't let you down, All Might!" He exclaimed. Jirou had obviously been listening in to all of this, and had started tearing up herself. He really had what it took, and she was proud that he was finally ready.

"Glad to hear it, my boy! Now…" He started, plucking a hair from atop his head. Midoriya watched in confusion. "Eat this!"

"EHHH!?"

"I can't believe you had to eat his hair!" Kyouka exclaimed, laughing at the boy after gagging. He felt like he could throw up, but he knew he had to keep it down at least long enough for the power to transfer.

The two teens had decided to head to a music store to get Midoriya a pick, and a few other things for his guitar. They had planned to start practicing today, and after gaining a quirk, what better way was there to celebrate?

"That had to be the grossest thing I've ever had to do…" He said, holding onto his stomach and mouth as if he was about to vomit. "Although, I don't feel much different…" He added, patting himself down as if there was going to be some sort of weird transformation or feeling that went along with it.

"Maybe it takes a bit to kick in?" Jirou shrugged. The two teens enter the music store and Jirou leads Midoriya to the guitar section. "Or maybe it was all a scam for some weird fetish." She laughed, as Midoriya's face contorted into massive discomfort.

"P-Please don't put that into my head..." He said, and then turned to items on the shelf. "S-So what exactly do I need?" He asked, trying to distract himself from the thought of All Might being a pervert and completely toying with him.

"Well, you don't have an amp. Or a pick. Or a strap. Or a cas,." She started to mumble to herself, a habit she had gotten from Midoriya. The greenette couldn't help but chuckle at the fact she had picked up a few of his mannerisms in the amount of time they had begun to hangout.

"Kyouka." He called, bringing her out of her thoughts. She was about to respond when she realized he used her first name instead of the honorifics. He figured it'd be the best way to snap her out of it, and boy was he right.

"Y-You…" She stammered, appalled that he even had the gall to use her first name so casually. "Y-You called me Kyouka." Never before had he used her first name.

Truthfully he didn't see what the problem was. The two were pretty close in all honesty. Oh but how dense main characters will be dense. Using her first name so casually really put out the wrong idea to people, no?

"W-Well, is that bad? I-I'm sorry I just figured since we're close and all it was fine, uh… Y-You can call me Izuku if you want as well." He suggested, trying to make the situation less awkward, though truthfully that was damn near impossible when it came to these two.

Midoriya wasn't one to make people feel uncomfortable with his actions and if he did he would apologize profusely, even if they didn't mind all too much. Hence why he was so ready to apologize if she didn't want him using her first name like that.

"N-No, it's fine um.. I kinda like it honestly. And as long as you don't mind me calling you Izuku, then I c-can do that." She said, blushing lightly. "Although, I'm still gonna call you vegetables." She said, laughing at the pout on his face.

"Of course you would." He sighed. "Well, anything you think I should get?" He asked, turning the teens' focus back to the items on the shelf. Jirou looked at the items and started grabbing random things, even having Midoriya carry a pretty heavy amp.

Midoriya had spent quite a bit of money that day, but then the two went over to his house where his guitar resides. Of course he'd have to make a long trip carrying all of that heavy stuff.

She had brought hers with them to the beach when they were training seeing as they planned for this. Although Midoriya was the one left to carry everything regardless, he didn't mind too much. Being All Might's apprentice had its ups and down, though and brute strength was an awkward middle ground.

The two entered the apartment and laid all of their stuff down in the living room. Midoriya's mom had left to run some errands so the two had the apartment to themselves. Perfect for them seeing as they were about to get REAL loud. (Not Like that).

Jirou and Midriya then spent the next few hours trying to get him to learn the basics, with Jirou learning that Midoriya is best taught with strange analogies. Like comparing certain notes with sounds that you would hear by banging pots together, or by the sounds of Present Mic screeching.

The two had even started to have fun with these shenanigans and ended up losing track of time, as Inko had walked into them in the middle of a laughing fit. The kids were lively, but at least it wasn't in the wrong way.

"Oh, you kids sure are lively! It's nice to see you again, Jirou. Would you like to stay for dinner? " She asked, as the two teens had started to settle down. Jirou, upon hearing Inko's question, turned to her. She was embarrassed at the fact that she had seen them howling with laughter almost as if they were hyenas.

"A-Ah! N-No, I w-wouldn't want to be a bother !" She stammered out. Jirou had started to feel that she was becoming a bother for the Midoriya's seeing how often she would come over.

"Oh no, dear!" Inko started, heading over to the teens. "You know we're glad to have you here. Izuku always seems so happy when you come over." She said to the nervous girl.

Both teens blushed and Izuku started stuttering out excuses. His mom, although she probably meant well, just has these ways of embarrassing him.

"Oh, that reminds me! I went to submit your application for the U.A. entrance exam, Izuku. It starts up next week." She said as she entered the kitchen. Both Izuku and Kyouka perked up at the mention of the exam.

It had been quite some time but now the exam was just around the corner. Were they ready? They sure had hoped so, but Izuku definitely needed some quirk training before going in and trying to take the exam.

Hell, who knows what could happen if he tried using One For All without practice? He could break an arm or something!

"It's already happening, huh? Think we're ready?" Jirou asked, turning to the One For All wielder. He looked at her, unsure of what to say. They had been training for months now, and he had just gotten a quirk. But were they ready? Was the training enough to help them pass? He had to stay optimistic.

"I want to say yes. But I'm unsure if what we've done is enough… However, I think we've gotten to a good point. We are capable of it if we try hard enough." He stated. It was true, they could and would do their very best, and that was all that mattered.

Jirou nodded at Izuku's words. The two had done a lot, but now it was time to put what they had trained to the test. Literally.

"You're right. We'll just have to wait and see, won't we, Izuku?" She pondered aloud. Inko had ended up dropping a pan when she heard Kyouka call Izuku by his first name. This was definitely an interesting development.

"J-Jirou, did you just call h-him Izuku?" She questioned, wide-eyed. Izuku realized what was about to happen and was quick to try and rush over to his mother.

"Mom, it's not what you think-" He tried to warn. But it was too late, the tears were already spewing out of her eyes.

"My little Izuku has a girlfriend!" She wailed, tears starting to flood the apartment, and Izuku already knew that they'd get some complaints from the people below them.

The next few minutes were spent trying to clean up all the tears that his mother had spewed and even getting a complaint from the people downstairs, just like Izuku had predicted… They must really hate the Midoriya's at this point.

Kyouka and Izuku had to explain to her that they weren't dating (yet). After the whole crying incident, Inko went back to making dinner still suffering from a few leftover tears. She really couldn't help herself, could she?

Izuku sighed, "S-Sorry about that, Kyouka. You know she's a bit extreme."

Kyouka had been aware of this for quite some time, Izuku had told her about the time she flooded their house and the apartment beneath them. She shrugged, Kyouka had no real issues with it. She's a protective mother, and she was more than accustomed to overbearing families.

Her father had quite literally shattered the windows in the house before when she got an A+ on her report card. It was insane, even to the point that the cops were called.

"It's fine, you're not the only one with overbearing parents." She stated, picking up her guitar to place it back in the case.

That reminded Izuku of when he first saw Kyouka's father. He shuddered in fear at the man's glare, although he probably should be more scared of her mother. He wondered if he'd ever be able to actually meet him properly, but Kyouka was adamant about not letting him in her home.

There was nothing wrong with him coming over when they weren't around, but she didn't need her parents scaring him or making him feel uncomfortable. That was her dad's specialty.

"Yeah, your dad was pretty scary before… I still think I should meet your parents." He suggested, shrugging. Jirou shook her head at the boy, he really had no idea what he'd be signing up for when going to meet them.

"Yeah, not happening anytime soon." She stated, quickly dodging the notion of Izuku meeting her parents. "Anyways, wanna play something? Just kinda want to waste time while we wait for dinner." Jirou proposed, also wanting to move on from the subject of her parents. Izuku sighs and nods, grabbing the controllers from the coffee table.

He really couldn't get that girl to budge sometimes, but he assumed she had her reasons. Though that didn't stop his thoughts from running rampant.

'Maybe she's ashamed to be my friend…' He wondered as the console turned on. I mean he was seen as quirkless most of his life, if she had told her parents about him maybe it was when he was quirkless.

He shook his head frantically, now was not the time to think about this stuff.

Izuku had always walked Kyouka home. Always. But after dinner he just sent her home by herself. The solitude was nice sometimes, but something seemed off with the boy, and she couldn't lie and say she wasn't the least bit concerned about him… She had gotten so used to the company that now it felt oddly lonely to not have him walk beside her on her way home.

'He had a bit of a sad look as I left…' She noted mentally. Izuku in reality was battling the thought that Kyouka was ashamed to call him her friend.

'Kyouka wouldn't be like that' He tried to reassure, but the thoughts were very invasive. He continuously thought about it, he couldn't get any rest. He laid awake in bed and sighed. He had been sitting her only for a few minutes after dinner and he quickly realized, sitting her wondering about it wasn't good. He checked the time, he could catch up to her if he ran fast enough...

"I've gotta see her." He said, shooting up from his bed and getting dressed for a "quick" midnight jog. He needed to know, and… He wanted to apologize for leaving her to walk on her own.

As he ran down the road to her usual pathway home, he heard muffled sobbing coming from an alleyway. Now he couldn't recognize the voice, but he knew that someone was in danger. Kyouka would have to wait for now, for someone needed his help.

Izuku sneaked into the alleyway and hid behind a dumpster, noticing a large man with a doglike appearance. His body was that of a wolfs, and he had long black hair. His face couldn't be made out as his face was blackened.

The defining trait of the villain was his glowing blood red eyes, it struck fear in the boy's body. He grit his teeth, he needed to assess the situation as he didn't know the man's quirk.

"You're quite the small one but you'll do, for tonight. Try not to scream." He said getting closer to the girl's ear, "I'm quite the biter."

The girl would cry for help, muffled by the man's hold over her mouth. Izuku looked at the man's attire, or rather the lack thereof. He was completely barren and ready to rape this girl, and Izuku needed to act fast.

Midoriya grabbed his phone and texted All Might his location and the situation. He inhaled and then exhaled, he peeked past the dumpster once more and saw the girl's face as the man reached for her pants.

It was Kyouka.

Jirou had been making her way home when she heard shuffling behind her. She looked around her and saw nothing, but she realized she needed to rush home, and fast. Good thing she's been working out or else getting caught would've been a lot easier for whoever could've been following her..

Jirou started sprinting in the direction of her home and as she neared the entrance to an alleyway she was swiftly grabbed and dragged into it. She didn't even see the man move, but now she was gagged and pinned against the wall.

She squirmed and tried to struggle out of the man's grip, but he was too strong. He easily overpowered her. Jirou knew she needed to devise a plan, and she jammed her jacks into the man's wrist, pumping her heartbeat into them causing his grip to loosen.

Kyouka quickly kicked the man back, and started sprinting again, only moving faster because of the adrenaline rush. Thank god for fight or flight.

"AGH! You fucking bitch!" The villain exclaimed, rushing after her. Kyouka knew she shouldn't look back, but she couldn't help herself. "Get BACK here!"

She turned around and saw the villain right on her tail, and then, because she didn't look where she was going, she tripped. And fell hard onto the pavement beneath her.

'Fuck!' She screams internally. She was going to be caught, she couldn't let herself be done like this! She was going to be a hero damnit!

"HEL-" She tried to scream before being punched in the jaw by the man. She writhed in pain, there was no use in trying to struggle. There was nothing she could do. No plan to be devised, only the feeling of helplessness was what remained. Too much shock and exhaustion were limiting her ability to think… Was this how it ended?

The man then dragged her back into the alley where he tried to start his devious plans. She tried to squirm against his grip, but to no avail. There was no easy way to get out of this.

"You're quite the small one but you'll do, for tonight. Try not to scream." He said, with a malicious smile present on his face as he leaned closer to her ears. "I'm quite the biter." He said and gripped onto Jirou's pants.

"No! NO! NO!" Jirou screamed, muffled by the man's hand. This pervert was gonna take something precious to her, and she couldn't even try to think of a way out of this. She was helpless. Funnily enough her thoughts were just filled with Izuku's encouraging words. Oh how she wished he was here to save her right now; how she wished she could be held in his arms… Because only then was she truly safe.

She then heard a loud boom, and a crack as the man's hold on her mouth and pants was gone in an instant. She turned to see her green-haired savior had launched straight for the assailant and nearly dislocated the man's jaw. Izuku hit hard.

"I-Izuku..?" She questioned, appalled that he was even here. He looked at her with a glare that sent shivers down her spine. It was almost as if he was telling her to get her ass up, and show this villain who's boss. She was not weak. She wasn't some damsel in distress, and he knew she could do it as long as she cleared her mind and not let the adrenaline get to her head.

Kyouka stumbled to her feet, and pulled up her pants. The boy had been emanating this strange green lightning, but he definitely seemed to be straining himself.

'Is this One For All?' Kyouka wondered. She then heard the villain get up from the rubble and rub his mouth where Midoriya's kick had landed.

"Damnit, I've been compromised…" He said, before wall-jumping away up to the rooftops. As soon as he reached the roofs he was punched straight in the face, by All Might. The Hero blasted off after the villain and Midoriya and Jirou were left alone.

Jirou slid to the ground, and Midoriya quickly caught her, and picked her up in bridal style. This was his fault, he should have never let her be alone tonight. His dumb concerns had nearly caused her to be… He didn't even want to think of the word.

"I'm sorry..." He mumbled with sadness in his eyes. He should've walked her home, but he was too caught up in his thoughts to worry about her. He was being selfish. He should've known better than to leave a girl to walk alone at night, let alone a girl he cared so much for.

Kyouka on the other hand was caught up in her feelings, as she sobbed and clung to the boy. The night was terrifying and without the greenette there to save her she didn't know what could have happened.

Izuku felt horrible. He clutched her shaking form close to him as he started his complicated walk to her home. He was going to have to explain everything and hope to god he can get her home safe without any sort of issues with her parents… Oh God, her parents.

This was going to be a weird way to meet them.

And that's chapter 6 REDUX!

This chapter has a few changes within the interaction with Dogman. (Yes, that's what I refer to him as).

There's also a few changes within the thoughts of the two as Izuku begins to doubt himself as a friend, and as he leaves Kyouka to walk home on her own.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy.
