He couldn't understand what she saw in him.
How could she love him when he was so hideous?
How could she have feelings for this beast?
Sure he had a castle and servants and a title of royalty. Sure he had aided Sora in the first down fall of the heartless. He had strength and speed and power. But despite all that he honestly didn't deserve her. He'd turned her away time and time again and broke her heart, leaving her and the shards on the floor so she could pick them up and put it back together again, only for him to come crawling back to her and say he was sorry.
She should have turned him away.
She should have gone off on her own. She could make it with out him. She was a strong woman, smart and beautiful, capable of taking whatever fate threw at her and toss it right back. And yet every time the Beast apologized and asked her to stay she would just smile and nod.
Smile and nod.
It was almost sad.
Smile and nod.
Was that what love was all about?
Smile when the one that hurt you apologized?
Nod when they asked for forgiveness?
He just didn't understand it. He just didn't understand her. And he supposed that was what made him so crazy for her. That was the reason he continued to come to this castle. Not for the Beast. He could honestly care less about the Order's desire for that fool's heartless and Nobody. He could careless about the Beast at all.
The reason he came here... was for Belle.
It wouldn't be long before that idiot hurt her again. And he knew all she would do was smile and nod when he came crawling to her for forgiveness. He couldn't allow it anymore.
Tonight was the night. The two entered the ballroom, smiling as they crossed the floor, walking towards its center. He would accomplish his mission for the Order... let Xemnas take the Beast's heart and Nobody.
He didn't deserve her.
And all Xaldin could think as he heard the music start and watched the two begin to waltz was...
You lucky bastard.
