Now, I still don't own Pokémon (though I wish I did, but who doesn't). Anyway, on with the story.

4 walls...

4 plain, white walls...

No windows...

That's all I ever get to see in this room. I could look at either the floor or ceiling, but they're just as plain and dull as the walls. The only change inscenery are the various computer, monitors and other equipment lining the walls.

Where am I?

Deep inside a Team Rocket research facility.

Don't even ask me how long I've been here. I've lost track of time. Sometimes it feels like I've been here all my life, but I know that's not true. I actually started off in the vast ocean before I was captured.

That's right. Captured. Legally, too. There are some people in that corrupt organization that would prefer to go about obtaining Pokémon the right way instead of stealing them. But that still doesn't justify what happens once you're in their possesion, as I learned.

Like I said, I don't know how long I've been here. But I do know why I'm here.

To be their test subject. Guinea pig if you will.

And for what? A power that our ancestors supposedly possessed.

Yeah, I've heard the stories. Many researchers believed that we once were much more powerful than the pathetic excuse of a Pokémon we are now. Some even believed we were once more powerful than the mighty Kyogre. I don't know about that but I do wonder what happened between now and then. How did we go from all mighty and powerful to weak and pathetic?

That's what these scientists are trying to find out. They've captured many of my kind to try and solve that mystery themselves. Many times I see scientists come in and take one or two of us out of here. Many times the ones they take don't come back. The ones left often wonder what happened to them. Did they die in the experiments? Or did they somehow find a way to escape?

But I know what happened. They're not coming back because they can't. They didn't escape. They never do.

I don't want to be here anymore. I don't want to be the next one picked to be experimented on. I don't want to be the next one to die in the name of their sadistic science.

Someone, help us.

Give me something else to look at other than these 4 walls.

These 4 plain, white walls...

Done. Now, can anyone guess the identity of the Pokémon in this story?
