Hermione and Draco were supposed to hate each other. Since day one they would give each other dirty looks whenever they had the chance. They weren't supposed to love each other; it wasn't supposed to be that way. Hermione was afraid that if she started to like Draco; or even think things about him that she shouldn't that her friends would find out and shun her.

When they came back for their fifth year things changed. Both of them came back looking very different. Draco would never admit that Hermione looked gorgeous. The same went for Hermione; she would never admit that Draco had become very hot over the summer. That was one thing they had in common, they would never admit it.

One time in potions Hermione got up the courage to send Draco a letter. Not sure how he would respond she was afraid. When she handed it to him he had a look of confusion on his face. Once in awhile she would look back to see his facial expression as he read the note. In it were all the feelings she had for him.

He wrote back to her. She wasn't expecting what he had written. He admitted that he had the same feelings; all of the hurtful things he had said to her were all a mask. He was ashamed that he actually cared what his father thought of him. He no longer listening to what his father said. All he cared about was her, Hermione Granger.
