JJ stood in the washroom; it was only 10.30 am. She knew Morgan was going to try again to get Emily to come home. The idea of her wife excited her as well as made her nervous. As much as she wanted to be pissed at her she couldn't. Running was something both were good at. She had run herself a few times in the begging on the relationship, it was now Emily's turn to run. The last time she had seen Emily was right before a seizure. Emily had seen a couple but that one had freaked her out and sent her packing. The blonde mother stood folding clothes hoping her wife would come back. She needed her for multiple reasons.
School started tomorrow, it was Luke and Samantha's first day at Kindergarten and the others would be moving into a new grade. Due to the seizures she wasn't allowed to drive and she wasn't about to send her kids on the bus. She knew the rest of her friends wanted to help her out, but they needed to go home for their kids first day back to school. Another reason was just purely she wanted to hug her wife. She wanted to talk to her. She wanted her life back to how it used to be. Not the mess it currently was. She heard her phone ping in the living area, she shout through. "Henry can you bring me that please." Knowing she left it on the coffee table.
The 9-year-old wondered in with his mothers' phone in hand. "Momma?" He asked as he pulled himself on top of the washer.
JJ took the phone and smiled slightly at the message Morgan had sent her. She didn't want to get too excited in case Emily let her down at last minute. She turned her attention to her son. "What's up baby?" She put her phone down and went back to folding. No one told you when you had this many kids how much washing you had to do.
"Can we go to the park today with Jack and Katherine and everyone else? It's the last day before school. And Michael was going to ask you when you finished in here." He sat up hopeful his momma would let them all go to the park with the rest of his friends. He was one of the oldest apart from Jack but the other were fun to play with too.
JJ laughed and nodded. "Of course, we can. Can you and Lizzie go get yourselves dressed. Can you ask your Aunt Pen to take the younger three to the toilet while I grab their clothes?"
"Yeah of course. Thanks Momma." He jumped down from the washer and raced into the family room to tell everyone what his momma said.
JJ smiled. She grabbed some outfits out of the clothes she had washed and folded for the younger 4 who were certainly not allowed to dress themselves yet or pick their own outfits. They had made some wonderful fashion statements, but it wasn't a wise choice for when they left the house. She dropped a text to the other members of the team who had all agreed to meet them and bring their own picnics with them so there was plenty for everyone to eat.
She walked to where her kids resided. She first dressed Michael and styled his hair. The younger three still weren't happy with their blonde mother and wanted Emily back. It was much easier for Garcia to dress them and do their hair while she made a picnic.
"Jayje, everyone is ready to go. The older 3 are putting their shoes on. Do you need anything?" Garcia walked up beside her friend who was putting everything in a cool bag.
"No, I need to go and grab some sunscreen and my purse. Oh, and Gracie's buggy, just in case she needs to sleep." JJ paused thinking if she could possibly need anything else. "Oh, I need to pack spare clothes too."
"Don't need much then Jayje." She laughed at how frantic JJ became when they went out. A day trip with this family usually looked like 2 people packing for a holiday.
JJ shook her head and handed Garcia the cool bag. "Can you put them all in the bus. I'll grab everything and meet you outside. It'll only take a couple of minutes." The bus was what they called the car that managed to fit all 6 kids with one seat spare as well as both adults and had a big trunk.
A couple of minutes actually meant around 20. Before getting in the car, all the kids suddenly needed to go to the toilet. So, they queued youngest to oldest. Garcia sorting the young then putting them in the car before trusting the older 3 and letting them come and put themselves in their seats. JJ had managed to pack all the items she had said in the back of the bus. She was just collecting the last of her own stuff, like a book and phone to go with her. Garcia stood grabbing her own stuff from the hallway before hearing her name called from the living area. She walked in. JJ was sat on the sofa with her head in her hands.
"What's up Jayje?" She asked, was crying, was she going to have a seizure?
"It's gonna happen." She groaned. "Can you help me to the floor. I don't want to fall."
Garcia nodded moving things out the way JJ could possibly hurt herself on before laying her on the floor where she could safely have a seizure. The noise of a car made the technical analyst look out the window seeing Morgan outside with Emily she told JJ she would send Morgan who was better at dealing with the seizures. He didn't panic as much as she did.
She ran outside to inform those outside what was going on.
