I've had this idea mulling around the back of my head. And I've also noticed that there's been quite a few fics were people from the real world fall into the YYH world of vice versa. And every time I read one I always think, "The people always seem so pefect, Mary-Sue and Gary-Stu like...".

So I decicded to make my own. I'm not flaming anyone's story I just want to write what would happan if I came to YYH world...

Disclaimer:I do not own YYH.

A girl the tender age of fifthteen walked down her block, her heavy bookbag filled with homework she wouldn't do, and books she didn't need to carry. Her hands were in the pockets of her black heavy coat and she absentmindly bobbed her head up and down to the music playing on her CD player.

She looked up as she heard the bass of blaring R&B music and rolled her eyes.

'He's home.' she thought as she took her key out and walked up the few chipped cement stairs to her front door. She placed the key in the hole and fiddled with the stupid lock before turning the knob and opening the door.

She was bombarded with the sound of R&B and shut the door behind her. She pulled her headphones off before taking off her coat and shrugging off the bookbag.

She walked up the stairs, the noise getting louder and louder and headed to her room. Once she entered her 'sacred place' she took off her baggy black pants, and long overly large white shirt that she called a uniform. She took her glasses off and groped around her room for some regular clothes before putting them on and heading back downstairs...

This is my life. Day in and day out I do the same thing. I come home from school, I change and then I go on about my business. Who am I you ask? I'm Ericka and this is my story...

So I already bored you with my opening. Sorry about that but I'm only telling you the truth. My life is boring, I do the same thing everyday and have done so for the past 8 years or so...who knows I've lost count. Before you go back up to the link and find another fic hear me out.

My life is boring and I do the same thing everyday. Well it was boring till something amazing happaned. Something that I had only thought to happan in my daydreams and the fanfics I read. It was wonderful and amazing and yet, sad and frightening and so many other things at the same time.

You still interested? Good. I'll get to the good parts soon enough but you'll have to bare with me during the setup. From there on then it's smooth sailing...

So the girl, me, goes downstairs and heads for the kitchen. Upon arriving she finds that there's no food in there. It's no surprise, she being used to coming home to a house with no food. She rolls her eyes and shuts the door in fustration and heads to the living room. The music is still blaring and she's pissed about it. It isn't that she doesn't like R&B, it's the fact that it's so loud.

She heads to her favorite spot in the house, the place she likes better than the kitchen or her room, her computer. She sits at it and turns it on, it's blue light reflecting off her glases. It is here from around 4:00PM till 10:00PM that she sits at this computer. She's lost in her own world that's full of RPG's, fanfics, anime and music. People passby her, including her mom who says hello and leaves.

This is her world. The world were she doesn't have to meet anyone's expectations, a world where she doesn't have to worry about whether or not her 'friends' are true friends. She can express herself here, she can show the true beauty she has on the inside...

And then, after those hours are up she has to leave her world and return to the real one. Even if it's only to sleep, she knows that only in eight hours she'll back to the same routine.

As she laid in bed at night, the soft light of the television on her face she thought...no she prayed for change.

"I can't take it anymore. I want change, I want to do something meaningful. I don't care what it is but I want something different to happan..."

Tears developed at the sides of her eyes and white hot angered burned deep inside. Why was she crying over this! This shouldn't be anything she should be getting worked up for. She turned on her side and went to sleep...

The next moring she preformed her regular rituals of getting ready for school. She took a shower, brushed her teeth got dressed and did her hair. She allowed herself an hour for her own pleasure, using this time to get on the computer and listen to music.

She was currently listening to a YYH Mp3 she had downloaded. It was the song Dark Side Stories sung by the voice actors of two her most favorite characters from the anime Yu Yu Hakusho. She smiled as she heard Youko Kurama's deep voice and chuckled as she heard Hiei's. It was funny in a way to hear then actually singing. Of course this song was sung in Japanese seeing as how the American voice actors probably couldn't and wouldn'tsing with their character's voices.

She had the lyrics on screenand she was beginning to memorize the words and what they translated into. She wanted to sing the words outloud, feeling the emotions hidden in the song, wanting to feel close to the Legendary Theif and Weilder of the Jagan.

She looked at the time and quickly turned everything off and headed out to catch the bus.

It was dark as always when she left in the morning, though she didn't care seeing as how she had her CD player on and playing her song.

She waited for her bus at the bus stop, going in and out between the real world and her world. Thinking aboutwho she was going to get her homework from, and thinking about several fanfic ideas.

As the bus came, thoughts of starting another boring day came to her mind. Oh, how wrong she was this day...

And that's the Prologue. Sorry for the lack of interest in it. Next chapter we'll get into the real story. As a note, from now on it'll be in first-person perspective. So...
