AN: I had a couple days off and I feel a bit better. I've had a decent amount of sleep and have a couple of chapters I'm gonna post. This one included.

Please can you review? I don't wanna be a begger but I'm going to. haha. Over 200 people read each chapter. Apart from chapter 14 which only got 98 haha. I'll go back and make the chapter better for you. haha. But yeah. Please review and let me know what you want to see.

This is more of a filler case chapter. I think it's a load of rubbish but ah well. I'm not too fussed at this point in lock down haha

One the jet the team had taken their seats, Emily and JJ sat next to each other and Reid and Hotch in front of them. Rossi sat on the sofa, while Morgan took to the arm of the couch. The files were out and Garcia on the screen. It was time to talk case.

"Baby girl, do we know how these guys go into the house?" Morgan asked the blonde agent on screen.

Some typing filled the small jet as they waited for an answer. "There were no signs of forced entry. No jammed lock, no broken windows."

Emily reached for JJ's hand under the table, they would think after so many years of working here, seeing the many different cases they saw something like this would get to them. But it showed them how easy it was for people to get into someone's home. Emily was the one to speak up. "So, they either knew the victims or had a ruse. Garcia can you try and find a link between the families, kids, schools, workplaces they visited. If anything crosses let us know."

"What about how the unsub kills the kids. They force them to watch, before taking them to bed and murdering them with an injection. Do we think the unsubs maybe watched something traumatic in their own lives?" JJ pipped up following on from her wifes thoughts hoping she was on the right track.

Hotch nodded, agreeing with his agents. He smiled slightly grateful his team was back together, things were going to get easier for them. "Yeah, maybe. They could be sparing the kids a future of hurt and PTSD by essentially ending their own suffering."

"But why do this in the first place, kill the parents and cause them to have to kill children." Rossi questioned. Not a question he would usually ask, but it felt necessary to figuring out who these unsubs were.

"If the unsub saw them somewhere which reminded them of their own family it could trigger the rage causing them to go after the parents. Did you know around 8 million people in the US suffer from PTSD a year, and one third of those never fully get rid of symptoms, it would make sense that the unsub was part of that third and this was some kind of relief from what they are doing." Reid reeled off a statistic as if fell out of his brain. Some links connecting, for him that might not for the other members of the case.

JJ jumped in, "But what did they see. Is there any signs of something which could trigger this kid of rage?"

"Nothing physical, and nothing obvious to the eye, but I'll do some digging and see what I can find." Garcia continued to type as we was carrying out a couple of searches. Preparing herself for more.

The Unit Chief closed his file. He needed the searches there wasn't too much more for them to do until they landed and could see the physical evidence themselves. "Garcia also see if you can find any cases similar to this in Minnesota. Going back the past 20 years."

"Yes sir, I'll hit you up with what I find when you land. Have a safe trip my knights in shining Armor." The technical analyst signed off in her quirky manor leaving the team to continue their discussion and prepare for a potentially tough case.

"Alright, when we land, Emily, Morgan check in at the hotel and then I want you to go to the latest scene, she what you can find out about what happened and their lives in that home. Reid, Rossi, to the ME see if they missed anything. JJ, you're with me, we're gonna head to the precinct and get set up. For now, everyone rest. It's going to be a long day." Hotch said instructing his team to go freely until they landed. He knew how important these moments were before and after a case. It allowed for each of them to mentally prepare themselves, for what was to come.

The jet had landed only a few minutes ago. The first crime scene wasn't too far from the airport, so Morgan and Emily climbed in and set off. Crime scene first then they could check in and head to meet everyone at the station once they were done.

"So how are things going?" Morgan asked relaxing into his seat. It was nice to have his partner back. She loved to drive, and he didn't mind letting someone else drive him around.

Emily looked to Morgan and then back to the road. "Things are fine. Jayje is doing much better, I'm better, the kids seemed to have settled into school properly, and are super excited for Christmas. How are you guys doing? Any more plans for more kids?" She tried to keep that chat casual. She didn't want to get into anything too serious.

The dark-skinned agent smiled thinking to his family. They never failed to put a smile on his face. "Savannah is happy, work for her is much more regular now. So, there might be plans in the future but for now. We are happy as we are. Are you sure your better? Your still at therapy, right?" Morgan didn't want to pry, but if he knew his partner and he did he knew she would more than likely be quitting therapy soon, if she hadn't already.

"You should have more its great. Me as Jayje love it as you can probably tell. It maybe complete and utter madness all the time, but that's the best thing about it every day is different." She smirked. She loved her crazy household. The craziness, the unpredictability was what made her love them. But all her children were well behaved, they respected their parents and showed so much love for everyone and everything. She filled with pride.

"Oh, I know. I lived there for a week; the madness was real. But you didn't answer my question." He rolled his eyes at Emily's skilful ways of avoiding his question. He was better though. Emily didn't scare him, he would take his time, but he would push and push. Its what he was good at.

Emily huffed. "Yes, I'm still in therapy Morgan. I think I'm nearly ready to stop. I feel fine, I'm under control. I'm fine."

Stubborn of course, he knew opening up a bit might help his partner. He never wanted to see Emily slip back into the depressed state she had been in 6 months ago. "But you know therapy is a normal thing. Savannah goes weekly. And only Hotch knows this, but I'm in weekly therapy and plan to stay in it. With this job we see some sights, some things which are still hard to process 15 years on. You and JJ, you've been through a lot. Your going to be going through it for the rest of your life. You have bad days and good days. Continue with it Emily for JJ. For the kids."

"Morgan, I appreciate this I really do. But I know what I'm doing. We're here for work. Can we focus on that please?" Emily didn't not want to talk about this. Her and JJ had just stopped focusing on it so much themselves. She didn't want to keep focusing on it at work.

"Yeah Em whatever you want." The rest of the drive was quiet they went to the crime scene to assess what extra information they could get. They got something useful which could help with the profile.

Back at the station JJ and Hotch had set up the board. They stopped for some sandwiches for lunch on the way. Knowing by the time everyone had finished doing what they were doing it would be around 1. They needed to keep their body fuelled so they could concentrate. 4 of the team were sat eating lunch when Emily and Morgan walked in.

"Join us." Rossi smiled throwing the favoured sandwiches to two who had just come back

They smiled taking a seat at the table, Emily sat next to JJ and the two shared a quick kiss and a smile. "Can I get greeted like that?" Morgan asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"I save these just for my girl. Maybe Reid will give you a kiss if you ask him?" Emily suggested. A shocked and scared look crossed Reid face as though it was going to happen, which sent the group into a fit of laughter. Derek's disgusted face tipped them to the bigger laugh than a chuckle.

"So, what did you find out. We've got nothing else here." Hotch asked bringing the group back on task.

"Oh, someone put in a jammer, only a small area was affected but it was enough to block the signal from the Shepard home, officers went over to the Greene's and found the same thing. The bulbs on the porches were unscrewed too. So clearly these unsubs knew what they were doing." Emily in formed the group. Before taking a bite out of her lunch. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head. She was so hungry.

Morgan continued. "Did Garcia come back with any more murders? If she hasn't got any maybe we need to look at home invasions where people were beaten, or maybe something similar happen to these unsubs?"

"So, we could be looking at what siblings?" JJ asked.

"Yeah, potentially." Rossi agreed. They were finally getting somewhere. Hallelujah.

It was around dinner when JJ felt the familiar feeling pass over her. She knew what was going to happen and no one from the team was around. Emily had nipped to the bathroom only a second ago. The rest of the team had gone to do interviews with the neighbours. She groaned which seemed to have caught the attention of a passing officer. "Is everything okay Agent Jareau."

JJ shook her head climbing off her chair to the floor as quick as she could. "Time me."

"What was that?" The young male officer asked stepping into the room to see what the blonde agent was doing on the floor.

"Time me." JJ slurred. She lay down letting her body relax and fall into the seizure she knew was inevitably going to happen at some point today.

Emily had been mid-pee when she had been called out by one of the officers. They had informed her an Agent was seizing and they were going to phone an ambulance. Emily quickly pulled herself off the toilet to get to JJ's side assuring the officers JJ had TBI related epilepsy. Which had calmed the station down a lot. She sat by JJ's side timing the seizure. Since starting the medication Emily had seen a change in JJ's seizures. They had begun to go on for longer, around the 4/5-minute mark and they look more violent. But her doctor had assured her they were looking into different medications and methods which would work. But for now the fact there was a whole day space between the seizures and she was have way less than the previous 3 to 5 a day was good and they would get there. They were determined.

Unfortunately, this seizure had been one of the ones that had gone one for too long, so Emily grabbed the epi-pen like device and jabbed JJ's thigh sending in a dose of rescue medication. Which luckily seemed to work pretty quickly bring JJ out of her seizure and into a sleep.

By the time the rest of the team had gotten back bringing dinner with them, they saw JJ lay on the floor with a cushion under her head and a station blanket covering her up. They had raised eyebrows as they placed dinner on the table. Reid crouched in front of the sleeping blonde. "Hey, Jennifer." He used this name for JJ sometimes as she called him Spence. He didn't know when it had started but it was a thing they had done as best friends.

JJ groaned as she stirred. "Spence." She tiredly slurred.

"Do, you want something to eat? We brought back burger and chips." He smiled when a tired lopsided smile came from the sleeping agent. But frowned when she replied again in her tired slurs.

"Later." She rolled over going to sleep.

Spencer stood back up and put JJ's food on the floor in front of her and went to sit back in his seat smiling as she sat up at the smell of food making her stomach growl. He grabbed his note pad bringing out the notes from the interviews with the neighbours. It was back to the case. They had to get this solved.
