AN: I tried to do a bit of a fluff chapter. I might do a time jump after this. I've written a couple of things up, so I'll see.

Sorry it took a few days I fractured my ribs in my sleep some how. So I'm pretty doped up on pain meds. So I apologise in advance for more mistakes than normal. Review and let me know what you think.

Thank you everyone for the reviews. I officially have over 50 reviews which is awesome!

Christmas morning in the Jareau-Prentiss Household was always hectic. But it was always a morning which was filled with smiles and happiness. Nothing had ever changed that. Emily and JJ had hoped for a lie in after staying up until 4am wrapping presents and organising them into piles for each child. They were so glad they had a storage facility, the more kids they had added, the harder it was to hide the presents, so they had forgotten about wrapping until the last moment.

Michael had woken up the twins first. It was Christmas. They had to get up as early as possible, they had lots of presents to open. Once he had woken the twins, he went to wake up Lizzie and then Henry. All the kids were tip toeing round trying not to make a lot of noise. They were giddy and so excited to see what Father Christmas had brought them. Henry got Gracie and held her on his hip. Now was time to wake their moms. Lizzie walked in first trying not to giggle.

She slowly walked towards her Momma's side of the bed, her's was always closer to the door. Both her parents were facing each other. Lizzie nodded to her brothers and sisters. All 6 of them rushed at the bed, climbing on shouting for both their parents to wake up. "Momma, Mommy." They shouted. "It's Christmas."

Both mothers looked at each other before separating and sitting up against their headboard. "Alright. Let me and your Momma wake for a moment." Emily groaned as she rubbed at her eyes. She was going to need lots of coffee.

"Santa camed." Gracie smiled as she climbed onto her mommas lap. She was only just starting to get Christmas. Last year she was the first year she had opened all her presents herself and for weeks afterwards she had asked if Santa had come again. She had started weeks before asking if Santa was coming this year. This was going to be a good year.

JJ nodded pulling Gracie on her knee and Luke who climbed on afterwards. "I don't know, shall we go and see if Santa has come?"

The all screamed yes. Excited to see what downstairs under their big Christmas tree was. All the screaming and shouting had woken the Au-Pair, who made her way to the doorway of the mothers room. She hadn't gone home this year to celebrate the holiday with her family. Every other year she stayed. After working for the family for 6 years she was practically family. Holidays here were much more exciting than at home.

"So, I'm guessing we are all up?" Alice smiled seeing the excitable children bouncing around.

"We are." JJ yawned. "Right let's get up." She pulled herself up, putting Gracie on her hip. She waited for Emily to stand and Alice rounded the kids. They had a slight routine before getting to the presents. Emily led them to the top of the stairs.

The older mother smiled seeing all the kids in a line waiting to head downstairs. She took a couple of steps down before opening her eyes wide and smiled wider. "Okay, don't panic." She told all the kids. "Someone made a big mess. Do you want to see?" She led all the children down the stairs into their family room.

Screams and cheers filled the air. "Santa came!" JJ showed them each to their piles of presents and let them loose. Their living room looked like Santa's grotto with the lights, the tree and what looked to be 100's of presents. After spending a good 6 hours separating, wrapping and placing the presents it only took half and hour for the older 5 to get the gifts opened. But another hour to get all the paper cleaned up.

Most of the morning had allowed for all the kids to play with some of their toys. But the 6am wake up call had meant everyone was tired. Christmas nap time was an essential. The early morning, all the excitable emotions and play time knocked them all out. JJ and the twins had crashed on the sofa. Alice had fallen asleep on the chair she claimed as her own. Gracie lay on top of her fast asleep.

The older three kids and Emily had been in the kitchen getting most of the food ready for their big Christmas buffet later. They had made sandwiches, prepared the meats, and chopped the cheeses. The kids obviously taking the less dangerous tasks. "So, are we tired? I think I'm ready to go to sleep." Emily had asked the kids putting the knife in the sink.

"I'm super tired Mommy." Lizzie said leaning into Emily's side.

"Do you all wanna crash in my bed with me. I think Momma's gonna stay down here." Getting to sleep in their moms bed without having a nightmare or being ill was a big thing. As much as Emily and JJ wanted to spend as much time as possible with their kids, they needed to be independent. If they had nightmares and were easily able to go back to sleep, the kids would still stay in their own bed. The women wanted to prepare their kids for the world. They were going to do everything they could to be the best parents.

Three kids rushed up stair into their mothers beg. Emily dragged behind. She was so ready to go for a nap.

Luckily Emily had set an alarm on her phone, or none of them would have gotten up. She woke the older three who lay in her bed before bringing them all downstairs to play while she woke the other. The kids had gone straight back to playing while the adults groaned feeling as though they were hung over and wanting more of a nap. Emily brought in the coffee to wake them up. "Here." She said handing Alice her coffee.

"And here's a water for my special girl." She nudged JJ handing over the cool glass.

JJ rolled her eyes. "Stop bragging." She took the water taking a big drink, at least she didn't have to sip hers while the other two waited for theirs to cool slightly. "You know what we never think of?" JJ voiced after placing her drink on the table in front.

"What?" Emily asked trying to think what she could have possibly forgot.

"Where we're gonna put all this stuff. We're gonna have to have a clear out soon." The blonde groaned. Both herself and Emily hated doing the clear out, they never had time and it always took a full day.

Emily too groaned. It was the worst part of the year. She liked a clean house as much as everyone else did, but spring cleaning wasn't a good thing. Usually herself and JJ would get slightly distracted by other activities which did make it a full day thing. "Don't start. I'm choosing to ignore that we had to spend a full day sorting through clothes and toys and crap." JJ eyed her wife. The kids were around, and she was using bad language.

The au-pair laughed "There's no point forgetting about it. Crap has to go." JJ eyed Alice for her poor language too around the young ones.

"Pffttt." The blonde woman huffed rolling her eyes. "Says you. You have more stuff than us two together." She laughed knowing how much stuff the younger woman came with. Mountains and mountains of shoes and clothes covered her room, and whenever she did her washing, she was sure there was another top or skirt she hadn't seen before.

"No fair, you get to share stuff." Alice pouted looking to JJ. She crossed her arms sulking but couldn't help the smirk which came over her face. She knew she had way too much stuff and she needed a spring clean herself.

"Not everything. We can share shoes, but Emily's got bigger…" She paused, seeing all the kids were too close by. "She has bigger assets than I do, and she's slightly taller. She's not supposed to wear my clothes."

Emily butted in "You can't say anything you always wear my clothes." She couldn't deny that when she saw JJ wearing her clothes, it would turn her on big time. Her wife could pull off anything.

With a big pout and frown JJ mustered up, "Well least I don't return your clothes with coffee stains or tears up where your backside is supposed to be." Her eyebrows raised when she finished waiting for the response from her wife.

The brunette frowned and looked to her wife. "Hey, that was only a couple of times." Maybe it was 4 times, or 5.

If the countless skirts, pants and shirts she had to replace because of Emily's big back side or clumsy caffeinated hands "Yeah yeah. What ever you say." The blue-eyed agent rolled her eyes.

"Hey." Emily moaned with a smirk. She knew she did it, but it was never on purpose. Always by accident but she couldn't help it.

"What?" JJ turned to face Emily.

Emily kept the smile on her face. When blue eyes made contact with her own, she moved her face closer JJ "I love you; you know." Her hand came to rest on JJ's cheek her thumb brushing over it slightly.

"Yeah." JJ smiled as her wife moving in close to her. JJ looked to her wifes lips. "I love you too." She moved close letting the couple lips join together. In a quick but loving kiss.

Alice had sat back watching the exchange between the dreamy couple. "You too are so cute you know. I gotta get myself some of that."

The blonde agent moved and put an arm over her wifes middle, her head on her should. "You're not having my wife. She's all mine." She spat her tongue out playfully.

"No, not your wife, or you. I gotta get myself a boyfriend or something." Alice laughed. She couldn't deny both women were beautiful, but women were certainly not her type. A tall burly guy with dark hair and dark eyes were her type. Tall, dark and handsome.

Eyebrows were raised and a side smiled graced the face off JJ. "Maybe you should give all those guys a shot."

"What guys?" The au-pair raised her own eyebrows and sat forward in her chair. How many did they know about? Hopefully they didn't know how many she brought back. She waited for an answer.

JJ shrugged, "The ones you bring back here after you go out."

The red headed woman bit at her cheeks. She was lucky that both women didn't mind her bringing guys back. As long as it didn't interfere with her looking after the kids when they were away on cases they didn't care. They understood how a woman needs a life and an orgasm. "You know about those?"

JJ started, "Yeah, well when your room is directly next to ours, we know. We even know a couple of names. There was Mark." She recounted just one of the guys that the woman who had become family too them.

"Oo, don't forget Jackson." Emily joined in. This could be fun.

"And Eric."

"Brian."

"John."

"Shane."

"What was that guy with the super weird name?"

"Yannis?"

"Yeah, Yannis!" The two went back and forth naming just a hand full of the guys they had met the morning after either when they got up or were coming home from a case. There had been plenty more, that they had and hadn't met. They were just grateful Alice had stuck to the rules of the kids not meeting the guys unless they were serious.

Alice held up her hands in surrender. They knew. "Alright I get your point. You're not exactly quiet yourselves, I'm pretty sure I know every time you two sleep together."

JJ gulped. The smile slowly leaving her face. "We're quieter than you."

Emily sensed JJ's change in tone. She checked her watch. "Alright ladies. How about we go and finish the buffet because I'm hungry and soon the kids will have opened all the boxes and will be hungry too."

"We're coming." JJ hoped up from the couch. Dinner was needed.

It wasn't long until the food was ready, and they were all enjoying the mixtures of foods which had been prepared for them to pick at for the rest of the day. Christmas was always a day where they could forget the outside world. They did. They played board games together and settled down to watch a film in their matching Christmas pyjamas. It was a day to remember. It always was. They would be spending the next day in a similar manor but with much more sleep and getting ready for the mothers to be returning to work the day after, meaning they would probably have to go away on a case. Which sucked but they were ready. Things were getting back to normal.
