Botan watched them walk down the isle, the ceremony over. He waves at the audience who just watched the wedding, she smiled and held his hand. It should've been her next to him, not Ayame. But while she tried to win his heart, Ayame snuck in. What did Ayame have over me, Botan wondered.

Botan clenched her hands, her knuckles white, as the newlyweds walked by. Angry tears threatened to flow from angry violet eyes. Did he not know how he made her feel? Apparently not.

Finally they left and the audience dispersed themselves, ready to go to the awaiting reception. Botan never made it.

Ningenkai

Unseen to the ningens below, a spirit flew over head on a wooden oar. Tears coursed down red cheeks, cerluean locks blown by the wind behind her. Violet eyes half blind with tears. She angerly wiped them away.

"Why couldn't he look at me that way?" She screamed to the clouded sky. The ningens heard nothing but a soft scream in the night and the rustlings of the leaves.

Reikai, three days later

The Reikai Tentai stood before Koenma in toddler form. The princeling paced back and forth, worry evident in his walk.

"C'mon, toddler! Why are we here?" Yusuke asked irritated that his day of fun at the arcade had been interupted.

"Yes, I agree with Uremeshi!" Kazuma stated, his face slightly annoyed.

"It seems Botan has disappeared! She was at the wedding and then she left. Ayame and I are very worried that she might have been kidnapped. That is why you're here!" Koenma stopped pacing to look at his Tentai. "You must retrieve her! The information she knows about Reikai could be used against us!"

"Hn, baka ferry onna." Hiei whispered to himself.

Botan

She lay on the ground, her blood mixing with the grass and dirt. It had started to rain as she flew through Ningenkai after the wedding. A strike of lightening nearly hit her, but caused her to hit a large tree instead.

"Kuso!" She whispered after a few minutes of lieing on the ground, numbness filling her body from the fall. "I guess this is what I deserve for being envious of the new princess." Botan spat out.
