The first thing you noticed when you woke up was that you were definitely not on the rooftop anymore. The sharp smell of antiseptic made it more than clear that you were at a hospital.
The second thing you noticed was the spilting headache you had.
The third thing was that there was clearly another person in room. Speaking to someone. The conversation was too one sided for whoever it was to not be on a call.
"No. I'm fine, Rumi. I-- I promise I'll get back. I wouldn't ditch..." Hawks trailed off when he saw that you were awake. A few seconds passed and you could nothing more than blink.
"I'm okay, Rumi. The patient woke up. I have to go. See you later." The blonde ended the call before turning to you fully. You noticed the bag under his eyes. Had he stayed here all night?

You felt you eye twitch, holding back from berate the little bitch with no name. You weren't in the mood for this shit.
"You probably wondering why you're at the hospital?" He clapped his hands, trying to make the mood in the room lighter, but that wasn't gonna cut it. If there was one thing you hated, it was being somewhere by someone else's will.
"I was perfectly fine where I was." You refrained from raising your voice because you were at the hospital. You didn't want to cause any problems.
The blonde sighed, exasparated. "Look kid, we may have met two days ago, and I might not know you personally, but I would really appreciate it if you stopped antagonizing me. I'm just trying to help."
"I didn't ask for your damn help." You said through gritted teeth.
"When I found you, you had an extremely high fever." The blonde ignored your indignation. "I had to take you to the hospital because apparently it was quirk related. Has this happened before?" His voice was calmer now.
You looked down at your lap, ignoring his eyes and keeping silent. You weren't going to give him the satisfaction of answering him.
He sighed once more. "It's fine if you don't want to answer me. But, I'll have you know you were given a dose of quirk suppressants. It's probably worn off by now. If you need any help, just call the doctors."
With that, the winged hero walked out of the room, presumably to go back to that 'Rumi' person.
Good. You weren't ready to deal with pesky heroes.
A little while after, the doctor showed up, informing you of how you were discharged. The nurse handed you a bag of your school uniform, which you hadn't taken off since yesterday. You had no recollection of what happened, of course. This was the obvious result of your quirk. Fucking hell.
After dressing up once more, you made your way out of the hospital, destination in mind. You couldn't shake off the thought of something Hawks mentioned.
Quirk suppressants.
Maybe Tarou had information about those.
Keigo didn't understand what was so special about that girl. Y/N L/N. Or why the commission sent him to look into her. As far as he knew, she came from Jiyuushu. A small town not far from Musutafu.
Apparently, she was involved in an incident when her quirk awakened at the age of six. He didn't know much of it, of course. Despite being a hero in the ranks of the top three, he still didn't have the freedom to certain things.
What else would he expect as the Hero Commision's Puppet Hero.
Well, going against order would be pointless at this time. There was still a lot to be learned. But the time would come when he got to actually spread his wings.
This was his ticket to freedom.
The puddles on the street were evidence of the rain that had occured last night. Despite being a late morning in May, the sky still displayed the clouds looming over the city. But that wasn't a problem for you, since you were making your way to the underground. The place were monsters lurched.
It didn't take you long to find Tarou's shop. You were familiar with the place after all.
The door bell signaled your entrance, and once you stepped inside, three heads turned in your direction.
"Y/N-kun. Nice to see ya!" His ever-so-cheerful voice greeted you. The two thugs eyed you with suspicion as you walked over to the counter. One of the tattoed crooks seemed to be looking more downward. You felt you eye twitch.
Curse that Taguchi idiot.
Letting out a breath, you went immediately to the counter. Right between the two punks.
"I want the usual." That was all you said.
"Of course, Y/N-sama. It would be my pleasure." He teased, not caring about the thugs who watched your interaction. After handing out two buns to you, he turned around and went to back. Presumably to get whatever these two wanted.
"So, what's the pretty lady doin' here?" The one with pinprick pupils and claws you noticed earlier leaned forward. His breath was really bad.
You felt the tic once more. Sighing, you decided to answer him. "I have bullshit parents." Was all you decided to say.
"So you're a rebel child, huh?" The other one who was abdominous decided to speak.
"I guess you could say that."
"You must be real brave to come around these parts." The clawed one spoke again. "Sure hope you don't regret it. I wouldn't lose my chance to see a face such as yours everyday." He chuckled.
You hummed as you opened one of the packets of anpan. "Nope. I don't." You stood up and walked out the door.
As much as you wanted to ask about the suppressants, you figured it would better to return later. And if you were early enough, you could catch a train back home.
The train ride back to Jiyuushu was quiet, except for the ocassional bumps the transport encountered. The train was barely full, and that made sense since almost no left or came to the run-down town. The only people on the train was a woman with her child, who you both noticed had scales - The effects of a mutation quirk - and a man in a suit. There was nothing distictive about his metapower, meaning that he probably had an emitter quirk. You could only assume, of course.

You felt yourself twitch as the voice spoke. What the fuck was their problem anyways? While this voice had been with you for most of your life, it had always been dormant. Like you were suppressing it, the same that you did with your quirk.
But now, it was like it was free. This had been going on for a few weeks now, and it was getting increasingly harder to ignore them.

Who the hell was she anyways? And why...? Why, what. You didn't know yourself.
N̸͚̆͝a̷̬̞͒m̶̥̟̔ḙ̵̉̏ ̵̮͊͝m̴͓̫̀͑e̶͇̟͗
Seriously, she didn't have a name, and she expected you to name her. How weird. You sighed as the train came to a stop. It wasn't Jiyuushu, but it was pretty close. You figured you could walk the rest of the way.
Halfway through you walk, you realized it was becoming midday. The afternoon sun was breaking through the rain clouds of this morning, bring a chill wind along with it. You were not thankful for your useless school uniform which you still hadn't taken off since yesterday. If anything, you were really tired from yesterday events. You wondered if it was an effect of the drug you were given. Though that was impossible since Hawks said that it probably already wore off earlier. Maybe it was just general you.
Mocking laughter suddenly caught your attention. You looked around to find the source and soon enough you did. Around the next alley, there were three boys and one girl. The other three looked like they were ganging up on him; one had a giant horn growing out the side of his head, another one had headphone mufflers over his ears along with buttons down his cheeks, the last one was shorter than both, who had striking red eyes and fangs proding her mouth open. Her clothes seemed to be proper than the other two, which gave you an indication of who the leader was. They all had malicious grins on their faces.
"C'mon now, villain. I think it's high time for you to pay for what you did." The girl spoke up, a leisurely look on her face. "I mean, I might get a few days in detention for what you did, but I think it will be worth it if I make sure you won't come tomorrow. No one wants to see your ugly mug anyways." She smiled the shape of a scythe, eyes filling with mirth.
You couldn't stop yourself from speaking up. "What is it that you think your doing?" Your voice was monotone.
̷̢͖́͢͡W̴̬͍ͣ͏̸h̢̨̞̠͟͡à̵̦̪̪͢͟͝t̛̳͕͟ ͕̞ͥ͊͜t̢ͭ̀͟͜h̶̡̞̀́̀͟e̕ ͖̠̻̆̎f̴̧͙͏úċ̥͈̗̅͝͏̡̨̧̀ǩ̩͓͘͡ ̼ͣ̉a̛̐̇͟͝ͅ͏̶r̸̷̢͟͞e͏ ̵̧̽ȳ̶̼o̸̙ͪͦ̕u ͕͒͟͟͞d̶̴̵̢̡o̸̖̜͌͠i̜ṇ͙g̓̓͏̷?̸̷̧ͪͦ͟!̨͇̹̻͘
All heads turned their attention to you.
"Who the fuck--" The one with the horn began, only to be stopped by the girl.
She turned to you with her crimson eyes and tilted her head. "Look sweetie. If you just turned around and pretended you didn't see nothing here, I'm sure--"
"No." A shadow sweeped over your face as you looked at the bitch head-on. It was only then that you noticed the veins growing around her eyes, which were becoming darker by the second.
"Did you just interrupt me?" Her eyes twitched, and you felt your own do the same.
You felt irksome now it wasn't even funny. "Yeah. So what."
The look of anger on the girl's face increased, making more veins grow down to her neck. She made a gesture which signaled the other two to attack. They both threw themselves at you, and the one with the horn was closest.
You felt yourself dodge to the side, before double back as the other one came at you, though he didn't seem much like a fighter. Not like you were either.

What a weird request, especially at this time. What did that even mean?
In your distraction, you felt a kick to your stomach, which forced you to back out of the alley. You were breathing heavily from dodging all the time.
Fine. Whatever. You decided to reliquish control to whoever that was. Hopefully, it would be worth it.
You felt your vision turn hazy and green, right before your eyes slipped close.
Hitoshi didn't know what was happening. One moment, he was about to be pummeled by Aimera and her gang, and the next, there came a girl who confronted them. And now she was fighting them.
The violet-haired boy noticed how she was first just dodging all their strikes, until she was hit in the stomach by Sakake. When she jumped back into in the road, Hitoshi thought she feld.
But, the fog of green drifted into the alley as she jumped back in with a kick to Sakake's face. The insomiac swore he saw a tooth flying as the horned boy fell to the ground with a thud. Hitoshi had no idea if the fog was an effect of her quirk, but it seemed to be that way.
She stood up from her position as stared down at Aimera and Roichi. Despite the fear Hitoshi could see in his eyes, the music player lunged foward and released a shockwave of sound, but the girl just leaped into the air, before aiming her leg for a roundhouse kick towards the black-haired boy. Another thud and both boys were down, leaving only Aimera.
The short girl looked angrily at her lackeys. "What the fuck are you doing? Don't just lay down there! Stop her!" She demanded, like the damn brat she was. Hitoshi didn't know why she just couldn't use her quirk. After all, she was blessed with a powerful quirk.
Sakake stood back up from his position and Hitoshi noticed how his face was bleeding, specifically his nose. It was probably broken. The girl who was fighting seemed to noticed that he had gotten up, because she sharply turned towards him. The black-haired boy watched her, paralyzed in fear. Tears formed in his eyes before he scrambled back to his feet and ran away.
"Where the hell are you going, you freaks?! Don't tell me your fuckin' scared?!" Aimera shouted towards Sakake's fleeing back. The girl with the fog turned back to Aimera, who just realized that. Hitoshi saw that her signature veins were disappearing, meaning she was probably in fear.
" ̢̛̳͙̂͘̕͢L̸͉̃́͟͜͡͠E̴̵̷͝͡A̷̙ͪͅV̸̴̨̬̌͋́͘É̷̵͖͘͏ ̶" Her voice was distorted, like many people were speaking at once. The short girl's eyes filled with tears. She nodded so fast that Hitoshi was suprised her head didn't fly from her shoulders. The green girl made way, and Aimera walked hesitantly past her before sprinting off. Good riddance.
The feeling of relief didn't last long though, as the girl with the fog turned towards him. It was then that he noticed her eyes. The pupils were a dark purple, almost black, lined by crosshairs of blood red. The sclera were acid green.
She breathed out slowly, right before her eyes turned back to normal and she collapsed.
It was like this morning again. Your head pounded against your skull and it felt like you were gonna throw up.
You then noticed the person looking down towards you. Were you on the floor? Sitting up, you noticed the green covering her eyes and making your vision hazy as you looked towards the violet-haired boy.
"Are you okay?" His voice was monotone.
You nodded as best you could without moving your head much. What happened?
The boy raised an eyebrow. "Don't you remember?" You felt your mind catch up to you as you realized you just said that out-loud.
You looked back at the boy and noticed the heavy bags underneath his lavender eyes, along with the unkempt purple hair. Realizing he was still waiting for an answer, you shook your head.
He looked back at you with confusion for a spilt second, before it disappeared and was replaced with narrowed eyes. The purple boy stood up before holding out his hand to you to do the same. Once you two were both on your feet he began making his way out of the alley.
The voice laughed, which was mostly static. Ḫ̩̕͏̵̧̕e̴̡͕͂́ ̨̺̟̦d̛͛́͘i̟̖͙̾̀d̝͈̻͡n̷̷̴̷͋͢'̡̛̼͚ͨ̀͡t̩̀̕̕͡ ͯ̉e̦̻ͮ̿v̶̛̅̏͝e̼͌̍͜͝n̹͙͇ͤͮ ̞̏͏̸̨͘ţ̛̲̀͜͢h̖̜̗̚a̫̔́͞n̵̸̨͍̪̭͆̚͟k̙ͬ̎͜ ̴̭͢y͇̞̠̔o͓̥̫ͯ͑͡ű̷̮̥̙̀͜͏̶
Ignoring 'her', you followed him out and you two were both on the sidewalk. There weren't that many people there. But the ones that were gave you two strange looks, which you ignored pointedly.
He stopped, and turned towards you. "Why are you following me?" He was straight-foward.
You supressed a sigh. "I didn't get your name."
"Shinsou Hitoshi. There. Now would you stop following me?"
You tilted your head to the side with a smirk. "Not even a thank you?"
He sighed. "Thanks, Or whatever. But, I could've handled it myself." He continued walking.
The smile on your face was still present as you followed him. "Didn't seem that way to me."
The boy you came to know as Shinsou raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? So what? I was fine."
The smile fell from your face as you remembered the encounter and what the girl had said.
You licked your lips. "Then, why did she call you a villain." Your voice dropped in tone.
Shinsou seemed to stiffen at this, and he turned around to look at you fully. Your eyes were half-lidded as you continued to stare at him, waiting for an answer.
His tense shoulders relaxed as he formulated a response, but it wasn't one you expected. "Why don't you just mind your own business?" He finally said.
"Because it's a hero's job to help."
The patronizing laugh that came from 'her' definitely wasn't worth the headache, but it was all you got.
̘͔̬̾Y̶̡͖̓͆̀̀́Ở̴̵̸̹͢͢U̷͏̶́͢͝?̢͓̱͝!̒͟͡ ̦̄ͤA͗̄ ̷̸͚̫̀̃̕̕͠H̴͚̜͒͗̕E͎̯͗́R̷̷̜̼͜͜Ǫ̵̹̕?̵̡̩̀ The static continued as 'she' howled with laughter. You did the best that you could to keep a straight face.
But, it seemed to work as Shinsou just stared at you in shock. He spoke. "You're training to be a hero?"
You nodded, unwavered, and he sighed.
"Okay. That's understandable." He was alluding to what you said.
It became awkward were you both stood. The wind picking up and blowing at the leaves in street. And even then you continued to stare at him.
"Uh..." He spoke once more. "Would you like to come with me?"
When you entered your house, you immediately for your bedroom, ignoring the groans of your dad even as he continued to drink that stuff. You never really understood the appeal of drinking.
You removed your sweater, before flopping down on your bed. While you were really looking foward to getting of the clothes, you were in more for a nap, since the events of today were kind of draining.
When your phone rang, you remembered that you had exchanged numbers with Shinsou. You initially declined his offer to go with him, but offered to exchange numbers next time there was a chance to. You really just wanted to get home.
Getting your phone off the cupboard you turned it on and saw the notification of his text.
XXX-XXX-XXXX at 13:23 - It's me. Shinsou.
You typed away at your phone, confirming that you'd gotten his text. Figuring you could save his number later, you put your phone back down and laid back in the bed, awaiting sleep to claim you.
It wasn't long until you were fast asleep.
The world is white again, before being corrupted by seas of acid green.
The world is tainted by the promise of death; theendoflife
The world is stale with the decay of the dead.
The world is impure, and in the center of it stands--
You opened your eyes and ignored the pounding in your head. That dream again. It wasn't the first time you had it, and certainly wasn't the last. You still couldn't understand why it came.

Nightfall?
You looked out the window, and saw that the sun was beginning to set. Seems like it wasn't far away from now.
Alright, then. You decided to leave at nighttime. It wouldn't be the first time you did it anyways.
Surely enough, nightfall came. But, you had to wait till midnight to go, so you were here at home for the next three hours.
You scrolled through the TV channels, eventually settling on the news, since there was nothing else.
"- lier today the in the shopping district of Tatooin, a C-rank villain took a Middle School student hostage and wreaked havoc open the district. Heroes and Police were unable to do anything due to the feral villain along with the hostage's dangerous quirk, along with the fire that had started because of it. It's wasn't untill the No. 1 Hero, All Might, had to step and save the day. Authories haven't--"
You tuned out. So All Might was in the city apparently. You wondered why, though you didn't really care. It wasn't your business.
Even though you weren't listening, you still looked towards the television. The news report showed a video of the event that happened. It was a bad quality video, but you could clearly see the quirk the reporter had labled 'dangerous'. It seemed to be the cause of the fires, but it wasn't like you were there or anything.
You turned to the door when you heard it creak open. It was your mom. Your mom was a fairly beautiful woman. Though, you couldn't help but noticed she looked nothing like you. Both of your parents didn't. Your mom had dark midnight hair that she always left open, along with pale red eyes, and a scar that ran down from her hairline to her cheek, right past her left eye. She never explained were she got it.
You two barely even talked.
"Did you check the mail box?" Her voice was droning, as she removed her shoes at the genkan.
That wasn't a question. You knew what she was refering to. They had vandalized again. Probably because of whatever happened yesterday.
You were right to think so. They had vandalized again. It wasn't the first time that it happened. If anyone of your familiy members were involved in an incident, the townspeople would make sure to let you know you were the scum family of the town.
Now you were standing outside, staring the paint on the walls along with pages stuck. Insult after insult after insult written over each other. You could only make out a few.
'Worthless'
'Useless'
'Whore'
'Wasted'
'Bitch'
The last one got you shaking. You were sure it was directed towards you.
'Cursed Murderer'

You willed yourself to calm down. Now was not the time to loose it. You had somewhere to be tonight.
With a defeated sigh, you went back inside, finding your mom in the kitchen, warming a box of takeout.
"So. What did you do?"
You don't know where the feeling of anger came from. But, your tic began once more, especially in your eye.
"Don't give me that." She called you by your name. "I've been gone a few days and when I come back, I find this. Something must've happened."

"So what. You expect me to tell you. You're not even there for me when I need you. What makes you think--"
"Ahh, so you do need me? You finally admit it." She laughed as the microwave stopped, signalling the food was warm.
Your anger flared up more. "Stop patronizing me."
"Look, kid." She was looking down at the ramen in her hands. "I know I'm not the best mother, but I still am your mother. I don't really give a shit what you think of me. But, I want you to know you can come to me. For anything." She sighed. "So tell me. What happened?"
This time she was pressing on, and you couldn't stop your self from answering. "I- I went to visit Kageri." She looked up from her food at this.
"Auntie Yuuki said something, which cause my quirk to go-" You hesitated. "go haywire." You were looking down now.
The laugh which you got in response wasn't something you expected. When you looked up, you saw your mom clutching at the roots of her hair and showing her riant. Her ramen was on the floor, along with her chopsticks. Her pupils were diluted as she continued to laugh. It was mocking.
" Auntie Yuuki?" She howled, before laughing some more. You refused to acknowledge the stain on your cheeks.
"You talk about as if she cares about you." Her laughter was dying down, along with the mood itself.
"We both know she doesn't. I don't know why you still do that." She inched closer and closer to you, until she was eye-level with you.
"To her, you are nothing more than a murder." She giggled before holding your cheeks. "The one who killed her daughter."
She leaned into your neck, mouthing your ear. "You're the one you killed Kageri."
Your reaction was default.
The stairs creaked as you ran upwards to your room, ignoring the dull roar and the slosh in your ears.

XXX-XXX-XXXX at 12:17 - Goodnight.
You made a grab for your phone on the table and checked the notification.
It was Shinsou again. You'd forgotten your reminder to save his number.

Your face twitched once more. You were really tired, but couldn't let this oppotunity pass. This was a chance you couldn't loose.
You grabbed a hoodie from a closet. This one was dark, perfect to keep camouflage with the night. You pocketed your phone as you left your room. Not bothering to keep it quiet. When you went out the door, you ignored the papers, written with insults, fluttering in the wind as you made your way to the train station.
