Narrator P.O.V
"It has been around now twenty minutes since she has awoken.", Eren thought while sitting in a chair near the door.
Annie and Markus were still sobbing with their mother.
"How are you Mrs. Leonhardt?", Eren asked trying to move things along.
"Actually not terrible and I feel my legs so I was not paralyzed. I told you could call me Alice.", Mrs. Leonhardt replied motherly.
Eren just simply shrugged.
"Anyways joe did you and Markus gets hurt that bad?", Alice asked.
"We had tried to capture the Farlan syndicate. We managed to capture them and got them put in prison. However the Titans came to rescue grace and bested me up while I was cuffed. I was lucky to not get killed. However I swear to you that I will bring them to justice.", Markus clenched his fists and declared.
That's when Mr. Leonhardt (lord of exposition) and the police walked into the room.
"The man who attacked Markus goes to y'alls school.", Mr. Leonhardt shouted.
His eyes swell up a little bit when he saw his wife was alert and ok. "Are you ok Alice?" , Mr. Leonhardt as with a stoic look on his face.
Eren just stood there baffled at what he just heard and Markus shouted, "What!?"
"Yes this kid is a senior apparently.", Pieck replied walking into the room.
"How could you tell?", Annie questioned with a hint of skepticism.
Levi then walked in and stated, "He was wearing the signature pin of the senior grade."
Eren just sat there and thought about the information given to him. The enemy was so close to him. He felt tears coming down his face. It was almost funny. He started to laugh. To the point that all of his teeth and there was a look in his eyes. It was of pain and disgust. He had the laugh of a hyena and the glare of psychopath. He would soon be able to achieve his goal and kill the man who killed his parents. He will be free of the pain.
It took a second before he realized everyone was staring at him. He then took a deep breath and composed himself.
"Are you ok Eren?", Pieck asked with a disturbed look.
"I am fine... it's just what I do when I incredibly frustrated to the point I find it funny and rather laugh at the situation. It is a condition.", Eren said while rubbing his sore jaw.
(Author: Funny thing is that I actually have the same anger issue. I rather laugh at the issue then get sad over it. That's my anger.)
"Well... we wanted to ask you, Mark, Levi, and Annie to investigate the school? Also you can't tell your friends about what I have asked you. I know I am asking a lot of you guys since you are civilians but, you definitely have a better chance to find the titan member without being detected.", Pieck requested with a pleading look.
Eren then clenched his fist and with a determined look had stated, "I think I speak for everyone that we would love to help."
Annie and Markus nodded while Levi just gave a simple mhm.
"Thank you guys so much for helping me out!", Pieck shouted and walked off.
"School just got a lot more fun...", Annie said sarcastically.
The room snickered. Not because it was really funny or anything. It is just the fact that Annie made a joke.
With that note Eren smiled and walked out the room with a smile with the realization that he is closer to his dream.
