Dark, gnarled tree limbs hurled past him as he fled. Wind howled at his ears as he barreled through the Black Forest with no direction in mind. The second Professor Snape ordered him to run, he took off. Draco never turned to look back once.

His chest burned, starved for oxygen when he finally paused on a misty slope. Using the tree next to him, he braced himself as he caught his breath, unfamiliar with running long distances at high speed. The sliver of moon above cut the dark sky and provided enough light that Draco felt dissuaded from using Lumos out here. A chill crept about his skin as he at last looked at where he had ended up. It was utterly silent in the gloom and he was deafened by the sound of his slowing heart.

He looked behind him, hoping he could see the fiery inferno Bellatrix had cast upon Hagrid's hut. No such luck. All there was around him were thick, black trees and an oppressive, crushing doom.

Where am I? He wondered. Perhaps if he stayed put, Snape would find him and they would apparate back to Malfoy Manor together.

A stick popped somewhere behind him. His heart raced again as he whipped around. The air was knocked from his lungs and a sense of dread gripped him.

"Hello pretty one." Greyback crooned.

The color drained from Draco's face. In the midst of the skirmish in front of Hagrid's hut, he had forgotten Greyback accompanied Bellatrix through the Vanishing Cabinet from Borgin and Burke's. Instinctively, Draco's fingers felt around for his wand. The slender, hard wood of it gave him no comfort. Not here. His thoughts briefly recalled a lesson from Defense Against the Dark Arts, that normal spells did not work on werewolves. Not one as old and as powerful as Greyback anyway.

"Did you come here for some alone time?" Greyback continued.

"N-no…" Draco's response died on his lips. His feet sunbconsciously began to move him backwards as Greyback advanced upon him. A slow, sauntering pace, a devilish grin plastered across his mouth.

"Are you afraid of me, Draco?" He sneered, losing the smooth liquid velvet to his voice. "I've missed you. Ever since you left the manor and returned to school."

Those words chilled Draco to the bone and though it would do him no good, he gripped his wand in his pocket. Greyback's smile flickered away and an angry snarl took its place.

"Why do you flee from me, little one? I'm not going to hurt you." He stopped moving and turned his back to gesture to the moon with his arm. "La Luna is not full yet. There is no reason to run from me."

Lies. Draco's mind panicked. There are infinite reasons to fear you, to run from you. Panic nearly overtook him, forcing him to turn and run. But he knew very well how that would end. Greyback would catch up in a moment's time, and with a new heightened sense of the hunt. Hardness hit Draco's back as he accidently backed himself into a tree. Greyback shot forward to trap him there, relishing in Draco's lack of attention to his surroundings.

Draco couldn't bite down a yelp as Greyback's huge hands pinned his shoulders against the bark. Instantly, he drew his wand and shoved the point under his throat, his arm trembling the whole time.

A uproarious cackle exploded from Greyback's mouth.

"What do you hope to do with that, sweet one? No spell will work on me. At least none that you are brave enough to try. So do us both a favor and put your wand away before I snap it in half."

Draco grit his teeth and lowered his arm back to his side, knowing he was right. Greyback's smoothness returned as he closed the gap of space between their bodies, pressing Draco harder against the tree. Draco's arms flew up to try to push him off.

"I've missed your scent, boy." Greyback's voice came at his ear. Draco's eyes shut, hard, trying to block out everything that was happening.

No! This can't be real! This has to be a nightmare…Snape has to come get me soon…A small sound of protest escaped him as Greyback's hands wandered lower, exploring wherever they pleased and using no effort to be gentle. Draco folded over, trying to fight off Greyback's advances.

"Stop! You can't do this to me!" He protested, trying to no avail to shove him off.

"On the contrary, Draco, I can do everything to you. Or at least I will when we return your failure before the Dark Lord."

Draco's veins froze. The reckoning of his failure did occur to him. The whole way down from the Astronomer's Tower he thought of the punishment for failing to carry out the Dark Lord's orders. He didn't fully realize how deeply his punishment could go.

"No…" Draco whispered. Greyback crushed his body into Draco's pinning him to the tree as his hands continued their assault on him.

"Yes," he purred, his mouth on Draco's ear, "I was thinking of providing the Dark Lord some suggestions as well. Some ideas of a suitable punishment."

Draco's body trembled, a chill shot through him.

"I was thinking of requesting that your punishment be carried out by me. As amusing as I find the Cructiatus Curse, I have far more…creative outlets to serve." His teeth grazed Draco's neck just under his ear. Draco's knees buckled under him as he tried to twist away.

"N-no, you can't mean that…" He whispered, unable to speak any louder.

"I do mean it. I crave it. I desire it. Yearn for it. Revel in it. I want to feel your skin tear in my mouth, feel your heart pulse, emptying your blood onto my tongue. I want to feel your breath against mine." Greyback leveled his face with Draco's. A deep flush rested on Draco's cheeks from the last sentence. His eyes flicked away, unable to hold the intense gaze.

"I. Will. Dominate you." Greyback shot forward, capturing Draco's mouth. A scream tore through him, emptying, muffled, into Greyback's as he forced his tongue in. Draco renewed his frantic fight. Greyback's long, filthy fingernails bit into his sides, making him cry out more.

"No! Stop!" Draco shrieked, coming free from the oral assault.

"That's enough!" Came a separate voice.

Greyback dropped Draco instantly and a deep growl emanated from him.

"About time you collected your whelp." He hissed.

Closing in on them was Severus Snape, wand drawn, an eerie look on his face. His black eyes thunderous.

"Find a log to go mark up, dog." Snape snarled.

Greyback snarled loudly and raised his hackles, but did not advance.

"You cannot protect him from me forever. Once the Dark Lord learns of his failures…he will be mine." Greyback turned away and ran off into the gloom.

Draco peeled himself off of the tree, looking to the ground as he stood by Snape.

"Give me your hand. We're apparating back to the manor." He said. Quieter, he asked, "are you all right?"

Draco roughly seized his hand and said,

"No."

There was popping sound and they vanished instantly from the forest.
