Draco's eyes opened lethargically. Every limb felt as if it had been shred apart. An ache pounded in his head and his stomach roiled from both hunger and distress. A starved animal in a cage. He inclined his head to see that blankets had been haphazardly thrown across body in a mockery of care. His body was still laying on the wooden floor with blood sprinkled around him. It was still warm in here. Outside, the world was dark, indicating night.
Booted footsteps walked past him to the door. Greyback was bundled up in two coats and licked his lips, chuckling softly to himself. In his hand is a small hand mirror. A finger gingerly touched his gored ear, where Draco bit his lobe clean off.
"Take me home." Draco's ragged voice came out and he barely recognized himself. How weak he sounded now.
"No." Greyback answered, quickly, firmly. Leaving no room for discussion.
"I wasn't asking." Draco retorted hotly. His voice cracked.
"I don't care. I'm going to hold onto you for a while." He pivoted and opened his arms wide, gesturing to the window. "Unless you want to find your way home. Be my guest. You'd come running back to me in less than an hour. If you could even get past my pack. Maybe this time I'll just watch while they take turns playing with you. If they'd even take turns."
The heat returned to Draco's face and blood, glaring at Greyback. It's short lived, however, his head thunked against the wooden floor in exhaustion. Greyback edged closer. Waves of pain cascaded over Draco's reed thin body.
"Where is this?" He whispered.
Greyback stopped short.
"Doesn't matter." He fell to the ground on his knees, hovering over Draco.
"Is this your home?" Draco asked. Greyback's silence was an answer within itself. With Greyback hovering over him, Draco felt like dry heaving on the floor. However, in his weakened, wounded state, merely bending certain limbs made them throb uncomfortably. Even as Greyback bent down and kissed and licked the inside of his mouth, Draco had no energy to expend to fight him. He endured the taste of his foul lips and tongue inside him.
"Full moon is coming. Stay or go. I don't care." Greyback retorted as he broke off and stood back up.
Draco closed his eyes and sighed softly.
"Just leave me to die." He whispered.
…..
The winter wind whipped across the world. It's brutal. Even on Greyback's hairy, muscled body as he shoves his snout through the gored hole of his victim. Such a dull, bland tasteless venture after the blood he's been feasting on as of recent.
Poison.
He thought. His elongated snout tipped up to the sky to capture another prey in his senses. The pack had cut down a few already, spraying blood onto the earth. Feasting sounds and occasional growling reached Greyback's ears. He gazed down at the girl below him. Wide, horrified blue eyes stared up forever. A hole the size of Greyback's fist caved in her ribs. An impossible amount of blood soaked everything around it. Greyback sniffed and his nose crinkled. In his mouth, the fresh blood turned vile. A fleeting desire to vomit it up struck him.
Poison.
He thought again.
I thought this feeling would've passed by now.
Above, the full moon bore down on them all. Reminding them all who controlled their actions tonight. A survivor clambered to their feet and in horrified pants and gasps, ran for the trees. Greyback stared idly. His interest in pursuing falling unusually short.
This obsession.
One of his pack members lifted their head. With a snap and roar of their mouth, they darted after. A clash of skin and teeth and it was all over. The last survivor had been subdued.
Greyback pawed at the body beneath him. The excitement draining away.
My pretty little obsession.
The sounds of chewing on something soft reached his ears.
My pretty dirty desire.
Bones crunched.
My pretty little poison.
…..
Draco downed another gulp of food from the odd, silver cylinder. The werewolf would not keep food here if this was his home, not when he could walk into the woods and hunt a fresh, wild animal. Draco had pieced that together. This must've been a muggle home at one point. Since then, it had been ravaged by the beast. Claw marks and stained blood were frequent here everywhere he went. Even the bed he used to sleep on had a cracked frame.
With total disregard, Draco dropped the can onto the floor. He pulled the blankets tighter around his body, enjoying the warmth they provided. He wished he hadn't lost his wand in the forest. There were a few things he would've liked to do with it. Briefly his thoughts touched on his parents. Undoubtedly they knew he was missing. He wondered if they were looking for him right now. He wondered if Snape was looking. Perhaps Bellatrix and the other Death Eaters were taunting them about how he had been given to the wolves. That thought made him clench his jaw. If only he still had that dagger he'd taken from his father's office.
The door barged open with a thunderous crack and a huge, dark shape entered. Blood caked his lips and claws. The coats he'd worn when he first disappeared were in tatters around his shoulders. His boots were missing. He huffed heavily, chest heaving as if he'd run all the way back without pause.
Draco's cold eyes barely regarded him. He was done playing the weak rabbit.
"Welcome back." He bit out, laden with venom.
Greyback gave a low growl of warning. He said nothing as he stripped off everything he had on and dumped it on the floor. Draco averted his attention. He cracked open another one of the cans and began eating.
"You're still feisty." Greyback finally spoke to him. Draco turned slightly to eye him. An unsettling grin plastered across Greyback's face. "I like it."
Draco rolled his eyes. Before could turn back away, Greyback tossed something that clanked loudly against the ground. His throat went dry as he stared at a long line of chain with a pair of shackles on the end. In Greyback's hands, he teased a line of rope around his wrists.
"I picked up some new toys for us to play with, my pet." He licks his lips as his eyes roved over Draco's body. Draco knew he was imagining ripping this blanket away and having his way with him.
"Take me home." Draco snapped.
"You are home." Greyback answered.
Draco whipped around to hide his face. Red stained his face at the comment, horror etched into his features. His skin crawled as he heard Greyback take a step closer. The food he'd eaten earlier threatened to resurface. Another step. His veins chilled. Greyback's hands come to rest gently on his upper arms, avoiding his wounds.
"You can't keep me here forever." Draco said, in a hollow whisper.
"I can. I will." The answer came.
"No…" Despite his protests, he already knows that he is too weak. Too thin. He's lost too much muscle. And he is wandless. Wounds pepper his body and physically, he is simply no match for the beast hovering behind him.
Hands leave his arms. Greyback stalked back to the bed in the room. He laid down on the mattress and set the rope on the floor.
"I never meant for this little thing you and I have to go so long."
Draco's fingers tightened around the can. His heart thunders in his throat.
"But how could I possibly stop now? Now that I have gotten a taste of pure divinity?"
His teeth clench too. He refuses to humor him with an answer. If he had an inkling of where he even was, he would've taken off while Greyback was away.
"Will you stab me in my sleep? Suffocate me while I'm vulnerable? How about bite my other ear off?"
"Don't tempt me." Draco sneered. He whipped back around to glare at him. Ignoring the fact that Greyback was entirely nude. His temper flared once Greyback gave him distance. "I've been working on ideas."
"Is that so?" The werewolf launched off the bed to seize the shackles. "Well if that's what you've been up to…" Draco dropped the can and tried to maintain the distance between them. It was difficult to look at him as he stalked closer.
"Why you and I give these a try right now? I'm not that tired."
"Get away from me!" Draco cried, throwing the dining room table between them. With a swoop of his arm, Greyback attempted to snatch him. Narrowly, Draco evaded it and backed into the wall. Pushing forward, and being large enough to prevent an escape, the werewolf blockaded him into a corner.
"You're disgusting." Draco spits out. Greyback pushes closer into him. The blond's head is tipped upwards, avoiding catching an eyeful.
"Come to bed peacefully and I won't have to hurt you again." Greyback bargains. Draco's eyes shut and his head hits the wall behind him. He's too weak to fight. He knows this. The house had already been turned upside down and he'd turned up no weapons to use. Shackles slip into place around his wrists. Cold and tight.
"Fine." Draco says, breath barely a whisper. An immense smile spreads across Greyback's mouth. His teeth glinting in the light.
"Louder. I didn't hear you."
"Fine." Draco says the slightest bit louder.
"I still can't hear you boy." Greyback growls, pulling his shackles wrists up. "Say you want to be brought to the bed."
Draco scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Say it."
"Or what?"
"Do you really want to test that today? I'm feeling particularly energetic after the full moon."
"Take me to bed." He almost vomits partway through the sentence. He can't believe the words even left his lips. Arms reach down and scoop him up. A short, surprised gasp leaves his mouth. He's brought across the room to the bed and dumped ungracefully onto it. Greyback joins him on the bed, slipping his arms around him and pulling him close. Immediately, his mouth goes for Draco's throat, nipping hard and licking. He pulls away as Draco gathers the courage to snap his teeth at him, attempting to bite his remaining ear.
"You wanna fight, huh? I'll fight you pretty little Draco."
"Don't say my name." Draco snaps.
"Why not? Am I too unworthy to roll your delicious name through my lips? Draco?" He teases. A shiver runs up Draco's legs and back. "I have something for that mouth of yours."
Greyback produces a strip of stained fabric. Draco's breath catches in his lungs.
"I hate you."
"So you keep telling me." He rolls the ends of the fabric in his hands and prepares to fit the gag in Draco's mouth. He flings his head to the side to avoid it.
"This was your plan all along, wasn't it?" He asks. Greyback pauses. "You brought me to your pack's territory, threaten to assault me in front of all of them to humiliate me so I'm forced to bargain with you. And that bargain brings us here where I can't be found or leave? Now you get to have me all to yourself until you get tired of me and kill me."
"Well done." Greyback praises. "Good to see that education at Hogwarts didn't go to waste." Draco flinches. "I've been planning this out for a while. I can't keep having my playtime interrupted."
Draco shrieks in rage and lifts his shackled hands up to try to gouge out the wolf's eyes. He catches his hands easily and mocks him with a rough laugh.
"Yes, Draco, fight me like the wild animal I've turned you into. Soon you'll be just like me."
Furious screams leave Draco as he whips his body around on the bed like a snake. His skin crawling at the comparison.
"Aww, so angry. It's cute." With a single claw, Greyback cuts along Draco's cheekbone. "I'm pleased to see I haven't completely destroyed you. I've only emboldened your dark side. Perhaps I should try to break you." He says the last part mainly to himself. "I can go much harder than I've even shown you."
Draco's frantic fight ceases. His face tilts up to look Greyback in the eyes. Neither says a word. Their eyes continue to stare into the others'. Greyback's eyes are steady. A sinister darkness pooling behind them. Draco's silver-blue eyes stare, challenging him. He's visible in the wolf's huge pupils, dilated with attraction. Eventually, Draco flicks his gaze away, unable to hold it any longer. Greyback laughs cruelly.
"Knocking down your snarky arrogance was incredibly satisfying. But now that it's getting stronger, what say I make playtime more exciting?" He bends in close enough to Draco's face to swipe his tongue out for a taste.
"What say, I completely, utterly destroy you?"
"No." Comes Draco's reply. Greyback chuckles. His tongue slips out and licks across Draco's lips. At his ear, he whispers,
"You belong to me forever." He shifts his bodyweight so he lays partially on top of him. His hands roughly grope at Draco and hook his shackles into the bedframe, trapping him. Lips and teeth mark up Draco's neck. Draco's eyes shut and he gives a surrendering sigh. He's too exhausted to fight. Today he'll save his strength. He will need all of it he can get to escape here. To escape the beast. Quietly, as Greyback has his way with him, he whispers,
"One day you'll tire of me."
