Cherish
What would you cherish more than jewels?
Or more than millions of dollars?
What would a mechanic cherish more than his tools?
What would a dog, more than his rhinestone collar?
What would I cherish more than jewels or thousands of dollars?
What would I cherish more than a dog his rhinestone collar?
I would cherish what is rare, what some people don't find 'till the end,
I would cherish true, life long friends.
Friends that'll always be there for you,
Friends that would never stray,
Friends that would stand up for you,
Friends by night, and day.
I would cherish this because it's such a hard thing to find
Friends that that tell the truth, and that are kind,
Friends that are like sisters and brothers
Friends that support each other.
If god gave me one wish, I'd know what I'd do,
I'd wish for happiness and friends that are true.
But that would take all the fun away,
Learning who would leave and who would stay.
So I guess I'll just find out on my own,
Who to cherish, and who to disown.
This poem is written from Kagomes view point, and it's about her friends. Oh, and when I talk about disowning I mean inconsiderate friends: cough:Inuyasha:cough:
