Gil POV:
So...things have been going pretty well, lately. Molls went back to BubbleTucky, Ana's in jail (thank god-), and my mom's in a happy relationship. We're still processing on the "dad" part. I still call Blake by his name since..yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who calls their step-parent by name. Anyways, I switched schools except not in person, just online. All thanks to mom. I haven't made any friends at all, but hey! What's the big deal of having no friends here in Big Bubble City? I've got the greatest friends back in BubbleTucky along with a beautiful girlfriend of mine.. *Sighs* Besides that, I'm relieved things are going okay for me. No more stress, no more pressure!
Knocking*
"Huh?" As Gil went to check who it was, Bella decided to step in and open the door. She still wanted to make sure Gil was safe with her due to everything that's happened. As she opened the door, the two guppies couldn't believe their eyes.. It was... Mr. Gordon...
Gil was in utter shock. His heart was racing uncontrollably, he started shaking rapidly... His mother was also in the same state as him except... she showed an angry expression more than a shocked one. "Heya, champ.. Hey, sweetheart..." Mr. Gordon said with a small smile. Bella wasn't pleased at all and suddenly snapped. "What're YOU doing here...?"
"Well, I thought I should visit my wife and son, of course! Why wouldn't I?" Gil just gave him a look of sass while crossing his arms. He didn't want him around at all. "How did you find us?" Bella asked. Mr. Gordon didn't say anything and continued changing the subject. Just then Blake walked by to see what was up. "Hey, hon." Blake began. "What's-" Then he stopped right after facing Mr. Gordon. "Oh, you must be Mr. Gordon.." Blake said without surprise. "Yes. AND WHO ARE YOU?" Mr. Gordon snapped. "I'm going to ask you to leave." Bella replied. "YOU CAN'T DO THAT! YOU'RE MARRIED TO ME! THIS IS MY PLACE!" Then Gil stepped in. "NO IT ISN'T! MOM ISN'T WITH YOU ANYMORE AND YOU CAN'T FORCE US TO STAY WITH YOU!" "SHUT UP, GIL!" Mr. Gordon yelled as he smacked Gil right on his face. Gil was frozen in shock as he saw blood dripping from his face. That was when Bella's blood boiled and caused her to punch her ex-husband. Mr. Gordon groaned with pain. Suddenly, police and ambulance sirens came by.
Officer Miranda and a few other cops asked what was going on. They each talked to the adults while Officer M came to talk to Gil. "Gil," She started, "Do you know what happened?" Gil nodded. The nurses were busy healing the young male's cheek while Gil was telling her everything that has happened. "Okay, thanks for the cooperation, but I want you to get some help from a psychologist or a therapist. You've been going through a lot and I do not want to see you continue having to hide this pain from others. So, I'll talk to your mom about it and I promise that your father will no longer hurt you or your family. Okay?" Gil showed a small smile and nodded.
"Alright, fellas. Nothing to see here." A cop said to the neighborhood. As Mr. Gordon was taken back to the police car, he saw Gil and Bella along with Blake watching him. "YOU'LL REGRET THIS!" He screamed. "Mr. Coral Gordon, you have the right to remain silent." Officer Miranda told him. As they all left, it turned silent. Bella then took a look at Gil's cheek and hugged him. While he hugged her back, he then smiled at Blake and nodded. Blake nodded back and then bent down.
"Um, Mom?" Gil chuckled. "I think you should turn around." Bella was confused at first, but proceeded to turn around. She gasped. "Bella, I know it's been a few weeks that we started dating, but I just wanted to thank you for everything you have given me and for your son. My oldest relationship really broke me down and made me lost hope in life, but after meeting you, I knew I would want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to share my happiness and joy with you, my sadness and grieve, EVERYTHING. I want to be the best husband and father figure for you and your son." As Gil watched them, he noticed half of the neighbourhood was watching. Some of them were recording and some of them were smiling hoping his mother would say yes. "So.." Blake said. "As a token of my love and graditude.." Bella then giggled and started tearing up. "Bella Stacy Gordon, will you marry me?" "YES!" Bella exclaimed with tears of joy. As they hugged, the neighbours cheered and applaused the soon-to-be married couple.
Gil was happy. Maybe he finally found the perfect dad after all. Whether they aren't blood related, Gil knew he could count on Blake.
YEEEEEE I'M BACK!! Sorry for not updating you guys earlier! I wanted to finish these 5 days of school before Thanksgiving Break! Now, I'm free! Hope you guys enjoyed this story! I'll try to update more as soon as possible!
