Chapter 12
"Need a help?" Sakura, Maki and Pavel heard a soft voice. They turned their heads and saw two persons both of them were girls. One was taller than another; the lower person had dark blue hair which was not very long, but at the same time not too short. They were tied in a medium tail. The person had two guns in his arm. It was possible to see that the person had soft cute features of face. The person had some sort of a grey tank top and a grey shorts which reached her kneels. She had also boots with metal plates on front part of legs. She had got grey eyes. Her arms were opened and had no cloth on them. However it was also noticeable that she was pretty young maybe even younger then Pavel and Maki.
Another person had long red hair and her ponytail was much bigger than the previous persons. Her eyes were grey too. But her face wasn't as soft as the previous girl's. Her nose and chin were acute. And also her nose was upturned. Her uniform was similar to Oleg's she had a metal armor. But she had a jacket above her armor. She had no helmet. The main difference between girls was that the lower one had a flat chest, while another one had female's precious however it wasn't so big and that she was much elder then the lower one.
"Who the hell are you?" Sakura shouted it was possible to notice that she was irritated and tired of fighting with the horse head demon.
"Don't worry we're some sort of enforcement to you." the younger girl said, and she gave a shot from her gun. A beam of light was aimed at the demon that Sakura was fighting.
"What the…" demon didn't understand, but still successfully avoided the shot.
Then the boy shot again this time at the dinosaur who was trying to hit Pavel with his tail again, but it made the dinosaur to jump back from the boy. Another woman who was taller quickly rushed to the place where landed her spear. She immediately grabbed it and then rushed to the dinosaur. Being exhausted, it was pretty difficult to him to dodge attacks of the woman with the spear. He was trying to get her spitting with fire, but it was difficult to him as she was in full powers. Suddenly a strong puff of wind appeared when she was trying to slice Tiradex again. She fought off Tiradex and shouted to the other girl. "Fight this demon; I'll help to deal with the Pegasus!" than she ran to the side where were Sakura fighting her opponent. "Alright." the blue haired girl responded with joy and then gave another shot.
'Have you finished with the seal?' Pegasus said in his mind.
'Just a little more time and it will be done.' he heard a respond.
'Dammit! I have to separate them.' Pegasus thought again. He has been taken out of his thoughts by the woman's spear. He was forced to dodge it.
"Who are you?" Sakura asked, the newcomer when she landed onto the surface of the roof.
"Don't worry we're friends." she merely responded. "My name is Maria."
"Sakura." She decided to leave all questions for a better time, as now they should finish with these freaks. "How we should fight him?"
"I will try to take him down and you will. Try to get him on the ground." listened to her idea Sakura grinned and nodded.
"Hey can you fight?" the blue hair girl asked the boy who was lying on the roof.
"I think yes." he tried to get grabbing his sword. Pavel took purchase on his sword and got up holding one hand on his chest.
"I think you should that girl." she pointed at Maki who had a real lack of powers.
"Are you sure you don't need a help?" Pavel asked the girl.
"Yup, it will be better for both of you to fight one opponent." Pavel agreed and joined Maki.
'It seems that we won't stand long' Pegasus, started to become unnerved.
"Hey isn't it a bit unfair?" Liza asked her opponents, protecting herself from Pavel's sword and Maki's gloves with her spear.
Pavel and Maki didn't respond and continued to attack the girl. Pegasus has taken a wind and said.
"You're doing quite well." he started to talk. "I've never seen opponents like before. You've even made me sweat."
"Really?" Sakura chuckled, "By the way, what is your name?" Sakura decided to stall for time to catch her breathe.
"The name is Tardis." he bowed to her, "And what is your name Asagi's sister?"
"Sakura." she merely and noticed how the woman with the spear was about to cut his back but the demon made a simple circled feint and sent another wind flow. The wind got the spear woman and it made her to land a bit more rough.
"I think it's unfair to attack your opponent from behind, even I don't do such disgraceful things."
She pierced the spear into the roof and chuckled, "Never have seen a demon that wouldn't do such things."
"Maybe it's because I'm the only one so righteous?" he asked the woman again. 'It's better to try to spall the time with talk, I have to gain powers. These two women are pretty strong, and it's demanding a lot of power to fight against them both at the same time.' he turned his head to the Tiradex's fight, he was at his limit too, fighting opponent with ranged attacks made him to move faster than usually, however the girl was feeling comfortable dodging his attacks, even his flame didn't help. Then he turned to the pink haired spear woman's fight, she was feeling herself much better, but still it was difficult even to her to fight two opponents at the same time.
"Hey girl, I've already smelled the same odor as you." Tiradex noticed that his partner decided to disturb his rivals with a talk, so he decided to do the same.
"What do you mean?" she put one gun onto her shoulder and with the other she aimed the demon.
"Yes, this guns. Do you use light technics?" he groaned again.
"What if it's so?" she merely answered.
"Yes I've already fought one hunter with light abilities, and he was using a short blade." the girl narrowed her eyes. "Yeah, he was pretty tough one. But somehow I was able to defeat him and that girl." he pointed at Liza.
"So you fought my brother?" she asked squeezing her fists on sheaths of her guns. "And what happened to him?"
"Well he became my dinner!" the demon roared and then the girl jumped and made another shot. The demon quickly dodged the attack and jumped too he was about to bite her, when she knocked into one her guns and made shot quickly separating them. A bright spark appeared when she separated them. When everything returned to normal Tiradex didn't see the girl in front of him, and quickly took a shot from behind into his shoulder. He landed onto the roof and put his hand onto his wound. "Damn bastard. You'll pay for this!" he groaned.
"It's my words." the girl spitted, hiding her emotions.
"Sakura we need a help, or we won't stand long!" Sakura heard Oleg's voice from her communicator, but this time it wasn't vibrated.
"We'll you be able to stand for ten more minutes?" she responded with a question to him.
"No we…" the sound of clang was heard, "I think we won't stand long!"
The woman with red hair and the spear in her hand widened her eyes, and quickly said. "I'll go. I think you four will deal with them perfectly." Sakura nodded and then dodged the attack of Tardis. 'Hang on Oleg, I'm coming.'
"Kids, maybe you will just give up?" Etienne asked Rinko an Aki. "I promise you if you do so, then I won't be harsh with you during tortures."
"Just shut up and fight." Rinko said. 'Oleg-sensei won't stand long.' Rinko started to analyze the situation. 'But it's reckless to fight this one alone. I think we must retreat and regroup with others.'
"Sensei!" Rinko exclaimed, "We have to retreat and regroup with another team. It's the only chance for us!" as she said, she blocked Etienne's tentacle.
Oleg was about to say something, but couldn't as he was hit into the stomach by Archon.
"I'm sorry kids, but you won't be able to run away from us." the man with clawed glove smirked, "Merely because we're more skillful than you."
"Archon, I think it's time to finish this, we spent a lot of time playing with them." Etienne said frankly.
"I think you're right." Archon clashed again his weapon with Oleg's who got up and rushed at his opponent, when both of them suddenly saw a light gleam which made them to jump from each other. When both of them landed onto the floor they saw a spear which pierced the floor.
"It's been a while. Brother." they all heard woman's voice.
Archon turned his head to the side where the spear has arrived and saw a red hair woman with grey eyes and a metal armor with some sort of a jacket above it. "Maria?" he said a bit confused. "I won't call it a while." he said to the woman.
"It's very interesting to see you here." she said calmly, but then added more provocatively, "What made you come to Japan? Did you decide to visit Japan especially with this scum?"
Aki and Rinko were surprised, and it was easily to read such expression on their faces.
"Hey Archon, is this your sister?" Etienne asked his partner with interested.
"I think you know the answer or you have problems with you memory." Archon changed his voice, now it became serious.
"I remember her when she was still young. That's why I'm a bit impressed." the man in the robe said, "But now you became a real beauty. What a pity that you was able to escape from me last time, if you knew this, I'd dealt with you first."
Maria came to Oleg and said him. "How are you?"
"I've been better." he answered, "How did you find us?"
"Have you forgotten my abilities?" she looked at her misunderstanding his question.
"Yes sorry, with these guys it's possible to forget everything." he stopped and then stretched his arm. The spear pierced into the floor started to respond on his act and then it quickly flew to Oleg's hand. He grabbed it and returned to Maria.
"Thanks." she sad and took her spear.
"Help to kids, they lost a lot of power fighting Etienne." he asked her to aid his students.
"Fine, just don't do reckless things fighting my brother." Oleg nodded and then rushed at Anatoly one more time. The woman with the spear came to Aki who was purchasing on his sword, while Rinko was fighting Etienne. She came to him surprisingly by insensible degrees and put her hand onto his back.
"What the…?" the boy was about to get up and turn to the woman, but couldn't as she pressed at his back and forced his to sit, then she added.
"Don't worry I'm going to help you." she said calmly, she closed her eyes and did nothing for a minute. When she removed her hand from his back Aki was impressed and excited.
"My fatigue." He stopped for a while and added after a second, "It's gone. What have you done to me?"
"It's not a good time to ask it right now, go and help your friend." she said, demanding. The boy nodded and then she rushed to Rinko. She did the same thing with her and now Rinko and Aki were fighting their enemy with the power they fought the demons. Then she joined Oleg in fighting Archon. Now their fight was very dynamic. Maria was attacking first whilst Oleg was protecting her back. It was possible to notice that they fought like those who knew each other for a long time and fought as team too. Maria threw her spear at Archon he fought of it with his glove and rushed at her then Pavel immediately blocked his glove which was trying to hit Maria. Then he pushed Archon off and stretched his arm returned the spear which was about to pierce Archon. Archon had no other choice but to dodge it with graceful summersault. But when he landed he saw Maria who was going to attack him from the air with the spear. So he had the only way to continue his fight, he changed his tactic from attacking to protecting.
'Damn they became faster and stronger.' Archon thought, 'And there's no chance to me to use my abilities.' He blocked Oleg's sword and Maria's spear and then said, "Your teamwork is impressive. How many battles did you do to gain such coordinated moves?"
"We trained a lot when you betrayed us." Maria said coldly. "But you became a bit slower." then she chuckled.
"It seems that I forget how to fight a good enemy." he chuckled too. "But still are you sure that your little improvement will help these kids to defeat Etienne? He is not so stupid to get onto their attacks."
"Don't worry after we finish you we'll help them." the Russian teacher referred to his opponent.
While they we're fighting Archon. Aki and Rinko showed impressive skills too, after Maria's improvement; it seemed that their tiredness havened was false. They were trying to get Etienne with more aggressive attacks than before. It forced the man in the robe to use tentacles from his hands to stabilize his situation; they gave him an advance, as he could use them on a medium distance. He occasionally threw his needles at them. Rinko was using her teleportation abilities trying to get Etienne, but all of them weren't successful.
'Damn bitch!' Etienne was cutting up rough, 'How I hate to fight psychic users, their boost is the worst of all other things I've fought.' He threw another bunch of needles, and this time he successfully got Aki, two needles got his right leg and right arm. 'Got you.' Etienne was glad that he finally got someone.
The boy pulled the needles out of his limbs and was about to strike him again, but couldn't as he immediately based himself upon his leg. 'Damn can't move.' Aki said in his mind.
"Aki!" the only thing Rinko said and then quickly was kicked by the robed man into the stomach.
"Don't look aside." the man smiled and grabbed Rinko for her hair and raised her. "It's a bad thing in battle. I hope you like my special needles? The acid in them will paralyze you limbs for several minutes but it'll be enough to finish you, after I deal with her." he tuned to Aki while was holding Rinko's hair.
Suddenly a strong the ground started to tremble under their feet and he released the girl and was due to save his equilibrium in order to not to fall on the floor. The same thing was with another group; Maria took purchase on her spear. Pavel was forced to do the same thing but with his sword. Unfortunately for Archon, he drops a crusty on his left leg, because he had no opportunity to keep his balance as his opponents. The same thing was on the roof too, the only one who felt himself perfectly was Tardis who merely swung into the air leaving everyone to balance.
'Everyone the seal is crushed. You can retreat.' Tardis, Lisa, Tiradex, Archon and Etienne heard in their heads.
'What retreat?" Etienne didn't understand, 'But we can beat them.'
'Tardis's squad took a serious damage.' he heard the voice again, "So this order is not discussed Etienne.'
'Understood, just wanted to take this huntress with huge tits.' he referred, but didn't hear a respond.
"Well guys thank you for entertaining us, but it's time for us to leave the stage." Archon said.
"Yes, but don't relax for long as we'll meet again, soon enough again." Etienne said putting his sword into his sheath. Then they turned quickly and ran as fast as they could.
Maria was about to follow them, but was quickly stopped by Oleg. "Wait. Let them go." She wanted to pull her hand out of his, but couldn't, "You want be able to take them both down, these kids under my responsibility so I can't leave them." when he said he released her hand, and came to Aki he helped him to stand up and went with him to the ladder.
"Are you going somewhere?" they heard a calm and measured voice and it made them to turn around and then they saw a person with a cloak and a hood in front of them.
"Did you hear?!" Tardis shouted to Tiradex and Liza, "Retreat immediately!" Dinosaur used his tail to jump off for a pretty good distance from the girl with guns. Liza decided to retreat too as the battle with Maki and Pavel made her exhausted. "You gave us a good and honorable fight, hunters but for now we're taking our leave." the Pegasus said, he noticed that the dinosaur and the lass left the roof, so it was his turn to take his leave. "Beware, when we meet again we won't be so easy on you." he said and swung with his wings flew the way where his allies went.
"Man!" Maki moaned loudly, "These guys were so strong, I've never met fighters like them!"
"Yes thanks to those two we were able to fight them." Sakura said as she took of her blades into her sheaths and turned to the girl with guns. "Well, do you want to tell us something?"
"Sorry. I'd like to chat with you, but I afraid that I can't I must returned to my captain now."
"You mean that woman with the spear?" Sakura asked the girl narrowing her eyes.
"Yes she can answer your questions if you want."
"Yes I really would like to ask her some questions." she said and turned to her teammates.
"Pavel, can you go?" younger Igawa asked the Russian hunter.
"I think, I can." he said while he was taking purchase on his sword exhaling difficult. 'Maria you always come at needed time.' he thought while he was gaining his powers. 'I don't know what would happen to us if you arrived late.'
"Hey Pavel." Maki said coming to the boy making him stop his thinking, "Let me help you." She took his hand and lifted it on her neck.
"There's no need for you to do it Maki." Pavel tried to refuse her help, "I can go myself." but she disagreed with him.
"Let's call it a small a returning of debts. If not you, I was sliced in two with that spear. So don't complain and be quite."
Pavel smile and agreed with her service. The entered the building and went to the location where were standing another members of their group. They joined their teammates when they saw there was strange person with a cloak and a hood. Sakura took out her blades and prepared to attack, but was interrupted by the man.
"Please, wait a minute." the person started, "I've come here to talk, not to fight."
"Why should we believe you?" Sakura asked the man.
"If I wanted to fight you, I would have started the battle before your team has arrived here, tangerine." he turned to Sakura.
"It's not a good idea to fight him Sakura." she heard Oleg's voice. "If those guys gave us a plastering quite a bit, this one is much stronger and in our condition we won't be able to get him."
"Impressive, you are a reasonable one. You should study how to choose your opponent tangerine."
"Stop call me that!" Sakura was angered by that nickname.
"What do you want to do in Japan?" Maria asked the man in the hood. "Why did you appear here so suddenly?"
"Well I can just tell you that we'll soon change the world." the person smirked. "We have grand plans for your country, that means that from this moment you shouldn't relax, soon you will hear a lot about "The Third Law." when he said it he disappeared into the cycle of wind.
""The Third" what? Maki didn't understand.
""The Third Law." Oleg sighed, "A criminal organization which appeared in our country. They were some sort of bandits in the beginning, but later they started to gain a lot of power, there were gossips that the USA was involved in helping them, but still we don't know about it."
"So you had such criminals and didn't tell us about them?" Sakura came closer and grabbed the tunic of his cloth which was above his armor. "Why didn't you tell us? How can we believe to you that you don't work with them?"
"There's no need to you to worry about us." Maria stood up for Oleg. "If we wanted we could attack you while you were fighting them."
"Um, sensei." Aki said to his teacher. "Do you know those two whom we fought?"
It was noticeable that Oleg and Maria became frowner. "More than I would like." Both of them said in unison.
"Whom are you toking about?" Sakura didn't understand the question which Aki asked.
"We fought the man in the robe who was using the sword." Rinko started to explain, "He also used tentacles releasing them out of his body. But the strangest thing was when I cut his arm off." Sakura narrowed her eyes. "He picked his arm up and just was pinched it to its place."
"It was Etienne Richar." Maria said, before Oleg could say a single word. "And it will be a serious mistake to call him human. And the man with gloves was Vlasov Anatoly." she turned away and then said to her partner with guns, "Now we must go, Tereshkov will tell everything what is needed." she took out something from her glove and threw it to him. Oleg caught the subject and it was a USB.
Both girls started to leave, but then Oleg said, "Maria, wait! I have to talk to you."
"What is it?" she was wondered what he wanted from her.
He gave the USB to Sakura and went with them to the roof. When they came to the roof Maria asked her companion to step away for a distance. "Are we alone?" Oleg asked her when they were alone. Maria closed her eyes and then nodded. "Did you feel the earthquake?" then Oleg said to her but still it looked like he whispered.
"Yes. Do you think that they could destroy the first seal?" Maria asked him concerned.
"I think yes. Professor told that if the seal is destroyed the sign to understand is an earthquake after it destruction." he answered to her.
"Then I must warn the Head Quarters." she replied.
"By the way do they say something about telling about the truth to Japanese government? I mean about our true mission."
"I have heard nothing about it yet, but still they decided to tell about "The Third Law" and I think that it's a big step." Then he turned to him and said, "By the way, where's your helmet?"
"It was crushed, by your brother." he referred.
"I'll tell to heads and they will send you another one." he nodded and asked again.
"By the way, you told them that I'll tell them about that organization. What did you mean by that?"
"On the USB I gave you are several members of this organization who we know perfectly and some that we know a bit. So you'll be able to warn them what they're going to encounter."
"Understood." she was about to leave, when he grabbed her hand and said, "Maria, what happened long ago…" he abruptly stopped, but then continued, "There was no your fault."
"Oleg we spoke about it many times. I don't want to start this talk again." Her voice became harsher.
"We couldn't know that Anatoly would betray us. The only one who came in a stinker was me. I wasn't strong enough to protect you…"
"He is my brother and the only one who must bear responsibility is me!" she shouted, "As his sister I should know that he had betrayed us, it was my fault that this bustard Richar tortured us! And it was my fault that I allowed it to happen."
"Listen I…" he was able to finish as she interrupted him.
"I said you everything long ago! There's no need to drag up an old story. Things will never return to normal, that's why we must live as we can." she said, "Nevertheless your friends are coming here." she pointed at the group who was returning to the roof. And the woman with the spear and the girl with guns leaved the rest standing on the roof waiting for the transport which had to take them bake to the base.
'Interesting what binds those two.' Sakura asked herself, 'It seems that they know each other for a long time, but still.' Sakura came closer to Oleg and asked him, "Well did you like your first mission, in the ranks of Taimanin."
"Well it wasn't bad at all." his passiveness disappeared or he's just hidden it perfectly, "But it was pitiable that I didn't see how younger Igawa was fighting."
She chuckled at his statement and then added, "Well if you want you can ask your student, he can tell you everything. But still I feel the same." She crossed her arms under her breast.
"Don't worry if you keep an offer open to have a friendly combat I'll do it whenever you want it."
"And in our suit, I remember it!" she added grinning.
"Yes, yes." he responded. "By the way Oleg, Aki how are you?"
"Don't worry Oleg Semenovich nothing to worry about…" Aki said but then gave a shout, when Maki suddenly tripped.
"Sorry I didn't want to do anything bad!" Maki said immediately returning balance.
"Don't worry about him Maki, he was injured worse." Oleg said to Maki, and then turned to Aki who was leaning on Rinko's arm.
"Well I think I can move my hand and leg now, but still not perfectly." he tried to move his arm.
"It's fine, this acid will vanish soon, so everything will become as usual."
Then all of them started to talk whilst they were waiting the transport to leave that place."
