A/N: Hello readers and welcome to chapter 5. In this chapter Ace and Roulette team up with a pair of heroes.

It's now been seven months since Lincoln became the hero known as Ace Savvy. And it's been very hectic journey so far, but he's been able to handle everything Royal Woods been able to throw at him. Granted, he hasn't had to fight those challenges alone. His sister Lisa helps him with her technological genius. Then there's his crime fighting partner, the mysterious Roulette Girl. Even though neither of them knew the other's secret identity they trusted each other fully. They always fought well together, and even think alike when it comes to certain situations.

And it's because of that trust and like-mindedness that they've been able to even beat supervillains. The first supervillain they fought was named Ruby Diamond. A scientist gone mad after a bad lab accident. Because of that she gained the ability to fire crystal beams of energy. She wanted to cover the entirety of Royal Woods in crystal but was stopped by the duo. Then there was the mischievous Conductor. An avid lover of classical music, he used his violin with magical strings to wreak havoc across the city. But with the help of his sister Luna, Ace and Roulette were able to take down the dastardly villain.

Since then, the two heroes have been facing off against ordinary criminals. However, there were some strange occurrences during those encounters. It seemed like Ace and Roulette were stopping more and more gang related crimes, and this worried the pair. Could there be a gang war coming soon? They weren't sure of anything yet, but they made sure to stay vigilante.

It's now January in Royal Woods. Christmas may have come and gone but the cold weather it brought hadn't. Due to the light snow, there was no school for Lincoln, so he decided to spend the afternoon with his friends. After all, since he became Ace Savvy, he's hardly spent any real time with them. "All right. I have my snow cap, my gloves, boots and my coat. Should be good to go." Lincoln says to himself as checks himself in the mirror.

"Are you sure this 'hangout' as you call it a good idea Lincoln?" Lisa asks him as she enters his room. "C'mon Lisa. I get that you're worried, but I still need to hang out with my friends every once and a while. Especially if I want to keep up the 'secret identity' part of my life." Lincoln says with some chagrin. "Besides, if there are any problems then the crime alert you set on my phone will go off. So, there's nothing to worry about." Lincoln reminds her. "If you say so." Lisa replies, not completely sold on Lincoln's logic. But none the less she leaves the room and leaves him be.

Meanwhile we see Ronnie Anne in her room along with Sid. "Let's see, beanie hat, check. gloves, check. Boots, check. And coat, check. Yep, looks like I'm all ready to go." Ronnie Anne states as she looks at herself in the mirror. "By the way, where are you guys meeting up at again?" Sid asks with a curious tone. "I told you already, we're meeting up at Gus's Games N' Grub." Ronnie Anne reminds her. "Anyway, are you sure you don't want to come along?" She asks Sid. "Nah. Besides, someone has to be here when something goes wrong." Sid says nonchalantly.

"I'm pretty sure crime can take a break for an hour." Ronnie Anne responds jocularly. "Well, it's not like you're the only girl that's going to be there. Jordan and Stella are going to be there too. And isn't 'you know who' supposed to show up?" She asks. Ronnie Anne immediately knew who Sid was referring to. "Well yeah. But you know how he can be." Ronnie Anne states. "Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine. Now go have fun for a change." Sid tells her encouragingly. Ronnie Anne smiles and nods before leaving the room.

We now cut to Gus's Games N' Grub where we see Lincoln is now just arriving. He walks in the restaurant/arcade to see that his friends were already there and sitting at a table. "Hey guys." Lincoln says to them to get their attention. "Lincoln!" They exclaim. "Where you been dawg, you just missed me busting out some sweet moves on the dance-dance revolution game." Rusty boast. "You mean how you faceplanted and Stella kicking you're butt." Jordan reminds him which causes the rest to chuckle. "Hmp, I was just going easy on her." Rusty clarifies. "Sure, whatever you say Rusty." Henry replies not believing Rusty's excuse.

"Well, as much as I would like to hit the dance floor, I'd rather eat first. So now that I'm here let's all get a pizza with some garlic knots." Lincoln suggested. "Actually Linc, we're waiting on one more person." Ronnie Anne tells him, earning a raised eyebrow from the rest of the group. "Is Sid running late or something?" Stella questions. "No, no. It's not Sid. It's... Someone else." Ronnie Anne answers. The wind chimes on the door then ring causing Ronnie Anne to look towards the door. "In fact, that's him now. Hey, over here!" She tells the person at the door. The rest of the group looks over to see a boy with tan skin and black hair. He also wore a purple jacket, gloves and beanie hat with blue jeans.

He looked like a male version of Ronnie Anne, which everyone notices and kind of taken aback by. "Glad to see you finally made it." Ronnie Anne says to the boy. "Sorry, got caught up helping this old lady." The boy replies. Ronnie Anne then notices the unnerving looks on everyone's faces causing her to sigh. "Guys, this is Ronaldo. He's... My cousin." She explains to them. "Cousin, heck, he could be you're twin brother." Liam says amazed by how similar the two look. "Or maybe he's some alien doubleganger trying take your place." Zach said ominously which earned a glare from Ronnie Anne. "Zach, chill with the alien conspiracy." Lincoln tells him before turning to Ronaldo.

"Nice to meet you Ronaldo." Lincoln greets him. "Nice to meet you too. But call me Ron, Ronaldo is strictly used by my parents." Ronaldo says to Lincoln. "Okay then, anyway, my name's Lincoln." Lincoln introduces. Ron raised an eyebrow before turning to Ronnie Anne and saying, "Este es el tipo del que me hablabas. Se ve un poco sencillo." Which confused everyone except Ronnie Anne who gave him an unamused look. "What did he say? Lincoln asks Ronnie Anne who was still looking at Ron. "Sorry amigo, it just that... She's told me about a lot about you. I was expecting... More." Ron explains to him. Lincoln face remained neutral, he didn't know if to feel insulted or not. It also made him feel weird about the fact that Ronnie Anne likes to talk about him.

As for Ron, his eyes immediately shifted to Stella, who he was captivated by. "Well, hello beautiful. What's your name?" He asks Stella. "Stella." She replied somewhat flabbergasted by his sudden tone of voice. "Esta soltera?" Ron asked Ronnie Anne. "Ni siquiera lo pienses." Ronnie Anne warned. "No puedo culpar a un chico por intentarlo." He shrugged. "I don't think I want to know what their talking about." Stella said uneased by their conversation. "Me either Stella." Jordan chimed.

Soon enough the pizza and garlic knots arrived at the table and the ten friend began to eat. "So, Ron, what kind of stuff you like to do for fun?" Clyde asks before taking another bite of his pizza. "Well, I don't mean to brag, but I am an expert video gamer. Also, I like skateboarding around the city." He tells them. "That does seem like a lot of fun." Henry admits. "I also take up karate and muay thai on the side." Ron says. "What a coincidence, I've also taken those lessons. That's how I got to know Ronnie Anne." Lincoln tells Ron who gives an intrigued look to his comment.

Soon enough the group finished eating. They then decided to play some games around the arcade. Stella won handily at ski ball; Ron won easily at the racing game, Clyde and Henry schooled everyone at the shooting game and lastly Lincoln and Ronnie Anne ruled the dance-dance revolution game. Soon enough the kids got tired and went to sit back down at their table. "Man, that was fun." Henry exclaims. "Then why not keep the fun going." Jordan says. "What did you have in mind?" Ron asks, curious on what she had planned. "Let's go to the movies. I have enough money to pay for at least seven of us." Jordan explains. "That's a great idea." Clyde comments. "Ooh, ooh, can we see the one with the feller who has a chainsaw, been meaning to watch that one for a while." Liam requested.

But before Jordan could reply, an alarm on both Lincoln's and Ronnie Anne's phone began to buzz. They both look at their phones to see it was their crime alerts alarms. "Sorry guys, I gotta take a raincheck on that movie, something came up." Lincoln tells them. "Same for me guys, there's something I got to take care of." Ronnie Anne tells them. "Like what?" Ron questioned with some skepticism. "Uh, Bobby needs me, said it was an emergency." Ronnie Anne lied. "And Luna needs my help babysitting the twins." Lincoln lied as well. The two then dash to the front door and out, each heading in the opposite direction and leaving everyone else confused. "What was that all about?" Rusty asks. "No clue." Stella replies. "Maybe they were abducted by aliens and those were doublegangers." Zach hypothesizes. "C'mon Zach, I'm pretty sure it's not aliens." Henry says not believing Zach's theory.

"So does this happen often?" Ron asks. "Pretty much. Whenever we hang out Lincoln suddenly has some emergency and has to leave." Clyde explains. "Same with Ronnie Anne and her friend Sid. It always seems like they have something to do." Jordan says. "Do you think Lincoln and Ronnie Anne just sneak off to hang out with each other?" Stella pondered. "As someone who knows Ronnie Anne really well, I would have to say no. She'd tell me if she had a boyfriend." Ron says. "Fair point." Henry says agreeing. "But there is something we can do to figure out the truth." Ron tells them. "What do you have in mind?" Jordan says intrigued. "Simple, tomorrow we'll just follow them around and see what exactly they're up to." Ron suggested.

"Hmm, I don't know Ron. Lincoln's my best friend and I just don't feel comfortable invading his privacy." Clyde says feeling guilty and uncomfortable at the thought. "I'm with Clyde on this one. Lincoln will probably tell us on his own time." Henry says. "I don't know guys; they've been doing this whole disappearing act for months. I'd think they tell us the truth by now." Stella points out. That's all Henry and Clyde needed to hear to change their view on the topic. "All right, we're in." Clyde says. "Us too." Jordan says with Stella nodding in agreement. "Sorry guys but we're out." Rusty says. "I have to help my dad out at the store tomorrow." He tells them. "And I got work to do on the farm." Liam informs them. "And me and my parents are going to scour the solar system for UFO's." Zach says with some excitement. "Well then it's settled. You girls will follow Ronnie Anne and the three of us will follow Lincoln." Ron declared as the rest nodded.

Meanwhile, Lincoln, who was already in his Ace Savvy suit was halfway across town. He's perching on a rooftop as he was inspecting an industrial building. "That's weird, the alert said there was something in progress around here, but I don't see anything." Ace notes to himself. He then felt someone's presence on the roof, he turns quickly to see Roulette Girl. "Oh, it's you." Ace says, a bit more relaxed. "Were you expecting anyone else?" She asked sarcastically. Savvy simply chose to ignore the sarcasm and turn back to the building. "An alarm was triggered inside the building, but no one's even made an escape attempt yet." Ace tells her. "Then maybe there something they want that isn't money." Roulette Girl theorizes.

"Then we better get in there." Ace says. The two then grapple towards the building, landing on a platform. Roulette Girl then used some glass cutters to cut open the window. Once inside the two overhear some chatter. "What are we looking for again?" One voice asks. "You dolt, we're here for that Phalanx Key. The sooner we get the sooner we get paid." A second voice squawked. "And what if the bats' show up?" He questioned. "Not to worry my friend. If the bats' do show up, I will break them." A third, more masculine voice boldly states. "Yeah, because that worked out so well for you last time." The second voice mocked making the third voice scoff.

"Well, that sounds interesting." Roulette Girl notes. "Tell me about it. I wonder what bats they are referring to?" Ace pondered. "One way to find out." Roulette tells him. They enter the next room before hopping down from the platform they were on. "Stop right where you are." Ace tells the thieves. The thieves then step out from the shadows, allowing Ace and Roulette to get a better look at them. The first thief was a short chubby guy in a tuxedo and also wearing a penguin mask. The second thief was a tall muscular man in a black tank top and a lucha libre mask. And the third thief looked to be in a mechanized suit of armor equipped with a jetpack and he wore a firefly mask/helmet. "Wait a minute, you two aren't the bats'." The one with the penguin mask says.

"But we are the ones who will take you down." Roulette Girl states. "We'll see about that girly." The man with the firefly mask said before firing off a laser from his wrist. Ace and Roulette manage to dodge in time but notice the melted hole in the wall. "That was destructive." Ace notes. "Oh, you haven't seen anything yet kid." The man with the penguin mask says to Ace. He then immediately charges at Ace, trying to strike him. Ace managed to block most of his attacks, but he wasn't able to block a double kick to his chest knocking him on his back. Roulette Girl tried to rush over to him but was blocked off by the muscular man. "Going somewhere little girl." He says with a thick South America accent. "Yeah, and you're in my way." Roulette shot back. She then tried to punch him in his stomach, but it had no effect on him. "What?" She says confused. "You'll have to do better than that chica." He arrogantly states before grabbing her by the arm and throwing her against the wall.

"Roulette!" Ace worriedly yells as he picks himself. He tries to run over to his partner but the man in the firefly mask flies over and lifts Ace in the air. "Hey, let me go!" Ace demanded. "If you say so kid." He says as he then drops Ace right on top of Roulette Girl. "Urgh/unhh." Ace and Roulette groaned in pain. "Haha!" The man with the penguin mask manically laughs. "Now it's time to teach you kids not to stick your noses where they don't belong." He says darkly. "Firefly, may you do the honors." He requested. "Thought you never ask." Firefly says as he gets ready to blast at Ace and Roulette. But before he could fire off a shot, his wrist was stuck by a bat shape boomerang. "Ah!" Firefly cried out in slight pain. "You really thought you could just leave Gotham and we wouldn't notice." A voice called from the shadows. "Well, you thought wrong." A second voice from the shadows declares.

And from out the shadows descended two figures that landed in front of Ace and Roulette. The two figures (one male, one female) were seemingly cladded in all black spandex with red highlights suit with a scarlet red bat logo on the chest. Their suits also had long bat ears, black and red gloves and shoe soles, a black cape (the inside of the cape is scarlet) and a cowl that hid half their faces (you can only see their chins up to their upper lip) and gave them white soulless eyes. "It's the bats', crush 'em." The one in the penguin mask yells his allies. The man in the lucha libre mask instantly charged at the two bat figures, trying to smash them with a double axe slam, but the two ended up dodging his attack. The male figure then delivered a hard punch to the luchador's stomach before grabbing him by the arm and throwing him against the wall. As for the female figure she currently occupied by the penguin mask guy, who kept trying to kick her. After finding an opening however, she grabbed the man by his leg, allowing her to bring him closer right before she punched him right in the face.

"Wah, eh, we already got what we came for so let's book it boys." The man with the penguin mask tells his allies, who nod in agreement. The three then make their getaway but not before the male bat threw something that attached itself to the back of firefly's jetpack. After that, the two figures turned to Ace and Roulette who were getting their bearings. "Are you two alright?" The female figure asked in a modulated voice. "Yeah, just need a minute." Roulette Girl responded. "Thanks for the save but who are you guys?" Ace questions, not fully trusting them. "Not important. What is important is what they stole." The male figure says. "Okay, then who were those guys?" Ace says as he folds his arms and narrow his eyes. "They're criminals from Gotham City. The man with lucha libre outfit is called Bane, he's a real powerhouse. The man with the Penguin mask is named Penguin, despite his appearance he's very crafty. And lastly the man with lasers and jetpack is named Firefly. And thanks to his jetpack he has unmatched mobility." The female figure tells them.

"Well, that's good to know for the next time we see them." Roulette Girl says, eager to get even with them. "I think it be better if you left them to us. We have history with them, plus with the device they stolen they've become even bigger threats." The male figure tells them, which quickly angers Ace. "No way! I don't care if you know them, this is our city! And that means we'll be the ones to take them down, you can either help or get out of the way!" Ace passionately and angrily pronounced with Roulette Girl also giving a spirited look as well. The two bat figures exchanges look at each other before turning back to them. "Fine. You can help, but let's make one thing clear, you two follow our lead, got it?" The male bat says. "I guess we can agree to that." Roulette Girl answers. "Good. We'll meet up tomorrow." The female bat says as she and the male bat turn walk away. "Wait! Meet up where?" Ace asks. "Don't worry, we'll find you." The male bat says before and the female bat grapple away.

"Well, they seem nice." Roulette Girl says with sarcasm. "Yeah. Look, I'm going to find out whatever I can about them before we meet up with them tomorrow." Ace tells her. "Smart, make sure we aren't getting played." Roulette Girl says, understanding what Ace's plan is. Our two heroes then said their goodbye's before heading off on their separate ways.

Later we see Ace who has just arrive back inside the Ace Fortress (Lisa's bunker), where Lisa was already waiting on him. "Hello brother, how did it-" "Not now Lisa, we got bigger problems." Ace says as he cuts off Lisa. "What seems to be the issue?" Lisa asks. "I need you to find anything relating to bats in Gotham City." He instructs Lisa. "Excuse me?" Lisa says in confusion. "I'll explain later, just do it." Ace says a bit impatiently. "Alright, alright. I'll get on that." Lisa replies, not getting snippy at her.

She quickly began to search for the information that Lincoln was looking for, and to her surprise she had found it. "Brother, it appears that I've found what you were looking for." Lisa informs him. "Alright, lay it on me then." He tells her. "It appears that three years ago that rumors of two bat like creatures in Gotham first started. They were related to multiple arresting of petty criminals and even mob bosses. Eventually, they're existence were finally proven a year ago after an incident at Arkham Asylum involving a clown." Lisa explains. "Three years, no wonder they seemed so experienced." Ace notes, which Lisa immediately picks up on. "So, you've encountered them?" Lisa asks. "Yeah. If it wasn't for them, I'd be toast right now." He admits. "And now I know that I can trust them to actually help." He says with firm belief. "Help? Help with what?" Lisa questions.

"Three bad guys from Gotham are here in Royal Woods, and based on tonight, me and Roulette Girl are going to need their help." Ace briefs. "Well then, if you are going to take down three super criminals then you might as well be as rested as you can be." Lisa advises. "Good point, well then, good night Lisa." Ace replies as he changes back into his civilian clothes and exits the bunker to go inside the Loud House.

The Next Day

After a good night's rest Lincoln awoke the next morning around nine A.M. As he rolled over onto his back to get up, he felt something pointy on his right shoulder. He reaches behind him to grab whatever it is that he felt, once he does it's revealed to be a bat shaped tracking device. This causes Lincoln's eyes to widen in both shock and horror at this revelation. But before the white haired Loud could ponder what happens next, a voice from downstairs calls out to him. "Hey Stinkon, someone's here to see you." Lynn shouted from downstairs.

Lincoln then gets out of bed and gets dressed before heading downstairs. Once downstairs he sees a young man, only a few years older than he is sitting on the couch talking with his mother as well as Lori, Leni and Lynn. "Hey Linky, this cute guy is here to see you." Leni says blatantly. "Leni." Lori says while elbowing her. "It's quite alright, I take it as a compliment." The young man says smoothly and charmingly. As Lincoln got a better look at the young man, he could see that he had slick black hair, had Cobalt blue eyes and was wearing a red and black blazer.

The young man then turned to Lincoln and says, "Nice to meet you, Mr Loud." He kindly greeted. "Uh, nice to meet you too." Lincoln greeted shyly. Lincoln was skeptical as to why someone he's never meet would like to meet him. "Lincoln, this is Allen Wayne. He's come to speak with you about an internship." Rita informs him. "Internship?" Lincoln questions confused. "Yes, the Wayne Enterprise's internship. I looked over the application you sent and well, I like your ingenuity and figure someone like you would benefit from working at our Royal Woods division." Allen explained. "Uh huh." Lincoln replied, knowing that he didn't send an application but kept up the charade so that his family didn't suspect anything.

"Since when did you get into science Stinkon?" Lynn asked. Although Lincoln hated Lynn's nickname for him, he didn't say anything about it, instead choosing to reply, "Well, I may not be as passionate as Lisa, but I've always had an interest in it. And Wayne Enterprises gives me the perfect opportunity to explore this fascination." Lincoln responds, expertly hiding the real truth from his family. "When did you send in that application? I think we'd remember you doing it or something." Lori questioned with suspicion laced in her voice. "About three months ago." Lincoln replies, not fazed by his sister's skepticism.

"Getting back on topic, if you don't mind Mrs. Loud, I'd like to spend the day with Lincoln. I want to get an idea for his skills and abilities." Allen says in a calm and nice tone. "Of course, Mr Wayne and please, call me Rita." She replies. Rita then turns to Lincoln and says, "And Lincoln, be sure to be on your best behavior while you're out with Mr Wayne." Rita tells Lincoln. "Yes mom." Lincoln replies. He and Allen then walk out of the house and into the front yard. Now that they were alone, Lincoln had some questions for the young man. "Mr Wayne, I think there's some sort of mistake, I didn't-" "Nope, me first." Allen says cutting Lincoln off. "Quick question of the rhetorical kind, does your family know that you spend your nights as a costume vigilante." He said more as a statement than a question. Lincoln eyes widen in shock, how could this man know his secret. "H-How do you know?!" Lincoln questions. "The tracker in your left pocket." Allen replies dryly.

Lincoln took out the tracker from his pocket and wondered how he could possibly know about it until it clicked in his mind. "You're the ba-" Lincoln began to say before Allen shushed him. "Yes, I am. And I'd appreciate it if you didn't announce it to the world." Allen tells him. "Now then, let's go somewhere more secluded." Allen said as a limo pulls up in front of his house. Reluctantly, Lincoln gets inside the limo with Allen. And as they drive off, they are seen by Ron, Henry and Clyde who were on their bikes.

That same morning Ronnie Anne was just waking up when she heard a knock at her bedroom door. And from behind the door, she heard the voice of her mother Maria. "Ronalda, alguien está aquí para verte." Her mother said. Ronnie Anne groaned before getting up. "Está bien mama, saldré en un minuto." Ronnie Anne responded. She then proceeded to get dress before exiting her room where she sees her mother engaging in conversation with a young woman who looked three or four years older than Ronnie Anne herself. As Ronnie Anne got a better look at the young woman, she saw that she had short wavy black and red hair, cerulean blue eyes and was wearing a red and black blazer.

The young woman happened to catch Ronnie Anne gaze and turn to meet it. "Ah, you must be Ronnie Anne. Your mother was telling me quite a bit about you." The young woman says in a calm and kind tone. "Uh thanks. But uh, who are you?" Ronnie Anne asks, trying not to sound disrespectful. "Ah, where are my manners. I am Alice Wayne. Co-CEO of Wayne Enterprises. Me and my brother Allen are here looking over the Royal Woods branch of the company, as well as looking at internship applications and well, yours caught my eye." Alice explained to Ronnie Anne.

Ronnie Anne raised her eyebrow in confusion. Internship? Application? She hadn't even done anything like that. But instead of calling her out Ronnie Anne decided to go along with it so that her mother doesn't suspect anything. "So, why exactly are you so interested in me?" Ronnie Anne questioned. "Frankly due to your cleverness and problem-solving skills." Alia replies before adding, "That is why I want to spend the day with you, to fully observe skills." She adds. "What do you think Ronnie Anne, it does seem like such a great opportunity." Maria says to her daughter. "Sure, why not." Ronnie Anne replies. "Splendid. Now then, we better be off." Alice says. She and Ronnie Anne then exit the house, once outside they got inside a limo that was parked outside.

The limo however didn't take off yet, which confused Ronnie Anne. She then looks at Alia who expression changed into one of seriousness. "Uh, so what's this really about? Because I never sent in an application to your company." Ronnie Anne questions, skeptical on how and why this business owner know who she is. "Let me answer your question with a question. Does your family know that you play dress up and fight crime." She says more as a statement than a question. Ronnie Anne's eyes widen in shock. She knows her secret. "Hehe, don't worry. I won't tell anyone if that's what you're worried about." Alice assures Ronnie Anne.

"Then what exactly do you want?" Ronnie Anne asks. "Check your right shoulder." Alia instructs her. Ronnie Anne complies, reaching underneath her hoodie she felt something pointy and made of metal on her right shoulder, she takes it off her shoulder and it's revealed to be a bat shape tracking device. And suddenly, it all started to click in Ronnie Anne's mind. "Wait a minute... You're one of those ba-" "Yes, I am. And please don't announce that to the world, you should know the importance of a secret identity." Alia says interrupting Ronnie Anne. "Now then let's go somewhere less crowded." Alice said as she signaled for the driver to take off.

But unbeknownst to them, they were seen by Stella and Jordan.

We now cut to Lincoln and Allen sitting at a park table at Tall Timbers Park. Luckily no one was around so that the two could conduct a much-needed conversation. "First off, how did you stick a tracker on me without me noticing?" Lincoln questions. "It's a skill I picked up from my years of training." Allen answers. "Okay then. Then tell me why you are going around dressing up like a bat?" Lincoln questions. "The same reason you dress like a playing card. By having a bad experience with crime and deciding to do something about it." Allen answers. "I guess we really are alike." Lincoln comments. "I guess we are." Allen replies

"So, what did those criminals from Gotham steal anyway?" Lincoln asks. "The warehouse they broke into was a storage unit for some of the devices we develop at Wayne Enterprises. One of those devices is called a Phalanx Key. That's what they stole." Allen explains to Lincoln. "I'm guessing this isn't any ordinary key." Lincoln semi joked. "You'd be right. The Phalanx Key is able to bypass any electronic lock created by Wayne Enterprises." Allen describes. Hearing this made Lincoln raise an eyebrow. "And why would your company invent a device like that?" He questions. "There are many places in Gotham that uses Wayne Tech as a part of their security, having that key would allow me to watch over the city easily." Allen explains.

"Okay, then let's get to the part that actually matters. Why would three criminals want that key for?" Lincoln proposes. "Already thinking ahead, I like that. Well, to answer your question they want it to pull off a bigger heist for an unnamed employer." Allen tells him. "Then we need to figure out who that employer is and what he wants them to steal." Lincoln says. "My thoughts exactly. But something tells me you have another problem." Allen says as he eyes something in the distance. Lincoln turns to see what he's looking at and he sees Clyde, Henry and Ron spying on their conversation while also poorly hiding behind a tree, this causes him to eye roll and groan in annoyance. "Friends of yours?" Allen asks. "Yeah, I'll be right back." Lincoln says as he gets up from the table.

He then walks over to his friends who are trying to act inconspicuous. "Guys, what are you doing here?" Lincoln asks them. "Lincoln? Wow! I didn't think you be here! We were just bird watching!" Clyde says being too obvious. Lincoln simply squints his eyes, clearly not believing him. Henry sighs before saying, "We were following you." He states simply. "I get that but why?" Lincoln questions. "Blame me. Your amigos here told me about how 'busy' you always seem to be, so I thought we should figure out what you're up to." Ron admits. "Guys, I appreciate your concern but I'm fine, really. But right now, I have a very serious matter to attend to, so just go home." Lincoln tells them before walking away. "Are we actually just gonna go home?" Clyde asks. "Nope." Both Henry and Ron replies.

As Lincoln got back to the table Allen saw the frustration on his face. "Trouble in paradise?" He asks with a bit of smugness. "Yeah, sorry about that. They don't know about my secret, so they get worried when I disappear suddenly." Lincoln says with a bit of sorrow in his voice. "Believe it or not, I know the feeling." Allen says trying to connect with Lincoln's struggle, but Lincoln shrugs it off saying, "Nevermind that, we got work to do and I know where we can start."

Back with Ronnie Anne, she and Alice were at that skate park. After both did some impressive skating moves the two began to talk. "So let me get this straight, after a bad experience with crime, you and your brother spent ten years training yourselves on how to fight and now you've spent the last three fighting crime in Gotham City." Ronnie Anne recaps. "Yeah... That's the gist of it." Alice says. "So back to those bad guys from your city." Ronnie Anne says getting back on track.

"Right, as I said earlier Penguin, Bane and Firefly stole the Phalanx Key. It's a device we developed at Wayne Enterprises that would allow us to bypass any electrical lock that uses Wayne Tech as a part of their security." Alice explains. "I'm guessing you and your brother would be using that for 'late nights'." Ronnie says, emphasizes on late nights. "You'd be right." Alice replies candidly. "So, any ideas on what to do next?" Ronnie Anne questions. "Well, we know the three are still in town, meaning that they'll try to pull of another theft. But what they don't know is that we're tracking them." Alice details.

"You placed trackers on them, nice." Ronnie Anne says impressed. "Thanks..." Alia trailed off as she noticed something. "Uh... You alright?" Ronnie Anne asked before she happened to look in the same direction Alice, and when she does, she sees both Stella and Jordan looking at them from across the skate park, which makes her go wide-eyed in surprise. "Do you know them?" Alice asks. "Yeah... Excuse me a second." Ronnie Anne says as she walks over to her friends, who were trying to act like they didn't notice Ronnie Anne. "What are you two doing here?" Ronnie Anne demanded. "Woah, Ronnie Anne!? I didn't know you be here! What are the odds?" Stella says trying to play dumb. Hearing Stella's bad acting makes Jordan facepalm before saying, "We were on the way to your house when we saw you and that girl over there get into a limo." Jordan explains truthfully. "So, you followed me here." Ronnie Anne says with a blank expression.

"Kind of." Stella says sheepishly. "By the way, who's the girl you're with?" Stella asks. "Oh uh, she's my... Pen pal, yeah, that's it." Ronnie Anne tells them with a lack of conviction in her voice. Jordan raises her eyebrow in suspicion as she comments, "Pen pal? You sure? You never mention having one before." "I don't have to tell you guys everything." Ronnie Anne counters defensively. "Look, we weren't trying to start an argument, we're just curious." Stella quickly adds before the situation gets more tense. Ronnie Anne sighs before saying, "Guys look, I'm kind of busy right now. Just go home, I'll tell you guys all about my pen pal later." She then walks away from Stella and Jordan. "We're not going to give this up, are we?" Stella asks Jordan. "Not a chance." Jordan states confidently.

As for Ronnie Anne, she had got back to Alice who had watch the scene play out. "Woof, I could feel the tension from here." Alice lightly teased. "Sorry about that. I've only told one person about my 'other self'. Ronnie Anne laments. "I understand. This life we live is dangerous, for us and the people around us. But take it from me, it's good to have people to watch your back." Alice advises. "You're probably right. Anyway, we got a job to do. So let's get stated." Ronnie Anne states.

Back with Lincoln and Allen, they had made it back to Loud House. But instead of going inside the house they went to the backyard, where Lisa bunker was. Lincoln opens the hatch to the bunker and leads Allen inside. "So this is your base of operation, it's... serviceable." Allen says trying not to be rude. "Well, not all of us have the recourses to afford expensive caves." Lincoln shot back. "Besides, it's not like we'll be here for long." Lincoln added. And right after he said that the hatch for the bunker began to open and descending down the ladder was Lisa, who was caught off guard by Allen's presence. "Uh... I don't mean to alarm you Lincoln, but it appears a stranger has found his way into our secret headquarters." Lisa says with much concern. "Lisa it's okay." Lincoln tries to assure his little sister. "And how can a total stranger knowing your big secret be okay?" Lisa asks with some snark.

"Maybe because I have this." Allen retorts as he shows a bat shape boomerang. Seeing this causes Lisa to raise an eyebrow in intrigue. "So, you're one of the bat creatures my brother encountered last night." Lisa says as more of a statement than a question. "Yes I am. Also, it's Batman." He corrected. "And pray tell, where is your female companion?" Lisa asks. "Taking care of things on her end." Allen replies. "Now that we have introductions out of the way let's get back to work." Lincoln says. Allen and Lisa nod and the three walk over to the computer. Allen then pulls out a flash drive from his suit pocket and plugs it in, a few moments later a blueprint of a building popped up on the computer screen.

"What are we looking at?" Lincoln questions. "This is the blueprint for the Wayne Tech building here in the city. The sixth and seventh floor are where our prototypes." Allen explains. "Well, that helps narrow down where they'll strike. But what exactly are they after?" Lincoln points out. "There's not much of value to criminals, but there is one object that they could want." Allen says as he brings up an image of one of the rooms. "Is that an Electromagnetic Pulse Generator?" Lisa questions amazed by the device. "An electro-what?" Lincoln says confused. "An EMP. It can disable any electrical system within its range." Allen explains. "And what's so special about that?" Lincoln questions. "Think about it, if something like that is set off then machines at the hospital would stop working, people wouldn't be able to access their bank accounts, it would cause endless traffic jams." Allen describes. "In other words, it would be complete chaos." Lincoln says understanding what Allen was saying.

"Yes, the EMP is on the seventh floor, and security on that floor is at its weakest around nine o'clock, that's when they'll strike and where we'll be there to meet them." Allen tells Lincoln. "Then I guess it's time to suit up." Lincoln says. Allen nods and the two switch into their costumes. After that Ace began to walk over to the Ace-Cycle when he realized something. "Wait, how are you going to get there, I don't think my bike is gonna fit both of us." Ace points out. "Don't worry, I've got it covered." Batman tells him as he presses a button on his gauntlets. Once he did that Ace led Batman to the bunker's exit, which was a ramp leading into the street. That's when Ace saw what Batman meant, it was a motorcycle, painted red and black with some bat like features as well. "Is there anything you don't have?" Ace asks Batman as he got on the motorcycle. Batman only smirks in response before driving off with Ace right behind him. But unbeknownst to either of them they were spotted by Clyde, Henry and Ron, who immediately went inside the secret tunnel, which lead them into the bunker where they saw Lisa.

Back with Ronnie Anne and Alice, they had returned to the Santiago's house to go over the case some more. "... Okay, so you've told me why those thugs from Gotham are here, but you never told me what they're after." Ronnie Anne says to Alice. "To be fair, we were interrupted earlier. But your right. What they're after is inside the Wayne Tech building here in the city. And I have a pretty good hunch on what that something is." Alice says confidently. However, before Alice could further explain the door to the room open and Ronnie's friend Sid entered.

"Hey Ronnie Anne, I just got done perfecting the new dance move from Twelve Is Midnight, you want to see?" Sid says before noticing Alia in the room. "Uh... Am I interrupting something?" Sid asks. Ronnie Anne chuckles before answering, "No, no. Sid this is Alice Wayne." She introduces. "Wait, Wayne! As in Wayne Enterprises! I'm a huge fan!" Sid squeals. Alice chuckles by the sight of Sid's excitement. "Pleasure to meet you." Alice greeted. "Wait a minute, why are here in Royal Woods? Shouldn't you be in Gotham?" Sid questions. "Well, you see Sid, I'm here because I have a problem and Ronnie Anne agreed to help me." Alice says vaguely, leaving Sid confused.

Seeing that her best friend wasn't catching on Ronnie Anne decided to simplify the situation. "She means that she needs Roulette Girl's help." Ronnie Anne says, which made Sid eyes wide in shock. "Huh-what, s-she knows, how?!" Sid questioned in disbelief. Before Ronnie could respond, Alice answers for her by throwing a bat shape boomerang into the wall. "Woah! So does that mean you're a superhero too?" Sid asks Alice. "Pretty much. That's why I'm here, Ronnie and I are working on a case." Alice explains to Sid. "So, what's the situation?" Sid asks.

"Well, there's these super criminals trying to break into the Wayne Tech building here in the city." Ronnie Anne explains. "And they're trying to steal a very importance device, that in the wrong hands could throw the city into chaos." Alice adds. "Then what are you guys waiting for?!" Sid asks wondering why they were still here. "Because Sid, we don't know when they'll strike. They aren't like the thugs or even the super villains that I've fought." Ronnie Anne says to Sid earnestly. Before Sid could offer a rebuttal, Alice received a call on her phone which she immediately answered. "Hello... You did... Alright, we'll be there as quickly as we can." Alia says before hanging up the phone. "What is it?" Ronnie Anne asks. "Looks like my brother and your friend Ace figured out what they're after, time to suit up." Alice replies. Ronnie Anne nods and the two began to switch into their costumes which made Sid excited. "This is awesome, a real-life superhero team-up." Sid says thrilled.

"We'll be back soon Sid. If my mom or Bobby gets back before us, then tell them that we're working on something important." Roulette Girl tells her. "You got it." Sid replies giving a thumbs up. "Time to go." Batwoman says as she presses a button on her gauntlet. A few moments later a black and red motorcycle with bat features pulled up in front of the bedroom window. The two then leapt out the window and onto the motorcycle and began to drive off. However, they were seen by Stella and Jordan.

We now transition to a rooftop across the Wayne Tech building as we see both Ace Savvy and Batman surveying the building. "No activity so far." Batman notes. "Which means they're probably just getting ready for the robbery." Ace comments. "You're learning." Batman responds with a smirk. It then quickly faded as he heard something on the rooftop, he quickly stands up and turns around ready to throw his batarang (A/N: I was getting tired of calling them bat boomerangs) but he lowers his guard when he sees Batwoman and Roulette Girl. "Nice to see you too." Batwoman grumbles to Batman. "You need to work on your stealth skills, I heard from across the roof." Batman replies. "I see you got roped into this too, let me guess, they placed a tracker on you as well." Ace says to Roulette Girl. "Pretty much. Makes me think they have trust issues." Roulette Girl joked, which made Ace chuckle a little.

The four heroes then turn back towards the building as Roulette Girl asks, "Any activity yet?" "None, but we have a feeling that's about to change." Ace replies. "Hmm, let's try a different angle." Batman murmurs as he presses a button on his cowl, making the eyes in his mask glow red. He looks at the Wayne Tech building and this time he's able to spot something. "We need to move now!" He tells the others. "What? Why? What's going on?" Ace question worriedly. "They're already inside." He replies before grappling towards the building. "How does he know?" Roulette Girl questions. "He must have used the detective vision in his cowl, it allows him to see through walls." Batwoman explained before adding, "Now c'mon, he's going to need our help." She remarks before grappling to the building herself.

"Man, they really are ready for anything." Roulette Girl remarks, impressed by Batman's and Batwoman's tech. "You and me both. Anyway, we better hurry and help them." Ace replies. Roulette Girl nods and the two grapple onto the seventh floor of the building, where they immediately had to dodge out of the way of one Firefly's laser blast. "Nice of you to drop by bats'." Penguin remarked with a cackle. "I see you two brought those runts along with you." Firefly mocked. "I'll show you runt." Roulette Girl shot back as she threw a throwing star at him which he easily blasted away. "Ha, that was pathetic. If this is your idea of backup Batman, then you might as well let take that EMP they got stuffed in here." Penguin ridicules. "Not a chance Penguin." Batman retorted. "Then we will crush you." Bane declared as presses a button on his glove and begins to bulk up.

"You two keep 'em busy, I'll get the device." Penguin ordered as he began to run off. "I'll get him." Roulette Girl says as she began to chase after Penguin, but not before Bane tried to strike her back but was knocked back by a combine punch from Ace and Batman. Firefly even tried taking a shot at Roulette Girl, but Batwoman shot her grappling gun around his wrist and with a strong pull manage to divert the blast from its target. Firefly then turned to Batwoman and tried to blast her instead but due to her quick reflexes she kept dodging out of the way. "Keep dodging Batwoman, sooner or later you'll run out of room." Firefly mocks. She hated to admit but Firefly was right, Batwoman knew she had to make a stand sooner rather than later. So, after dodging another blast she charged at him and leapt over him as he fired one more blast, and as she was in mid-air, she threw a pair of batarangs at Firefly's jet pack, puncturing the fuel line.

"No!" Firefly yells in dismay. "Sorry Firefly, but you're done." Batwoman says before hitting him with an uppercut, knocking him out. As for Ace and Batman they had their hands full with Bane who kept trying to thrash and swat them, luckily for them Bane's humongous size made him slower which made it difficult for him to hit them. However, Batman and Ace punches and kicks hardly affected him. "Seeing how he's your villain, any ideas?" Savvy asks wittily. "Those tubes are pumping venom into his veins making him stronger, takes those tubes and he'll lose his strength." Batman tells him as he dodges out of the way of another strike. Ace nods and immediately tries to throw a throwing star at one of the tubes, but Bane easily blocks it. "Dang it. Hey bats', think you can distract him for a moment?" Savvy demands. Understanding what Ace was trying to do Batman nodded, as he charged at Bane, engaging in combat (getting in a few good hits too). This allowed Ace to get behind Bane as he jumps on Bane's back and uses one of his throwing stars to sever the tube of venom, which immediately caused Bane to shrink back down to his original size. "No!" Bane says as he turns to Ace Savvy. "I will break you niño." Bane angrily stated. But before he could do anything Batman turned him around and hit him with a right hook across the jaw, followed by an uppercut by Ace which knocked him out.

"Sorry Bane, but you won't be breaking anyone today." Batman states. "Now that that's done, we need to hurry and help Roulette Girl." Ace says. Batman nods and he Ace and Batwoman begin to run towards where Roulette Girl and Penguin had run off to.

Meanwhile with Roulette Girl, she continued to chase after Penguin until they reached the room where the EMP was located. "Give it up girly, there's nothing you can do to stop me from taking this due-hickey." Penguin says trying to be intimidating. "Please, I'm not afraid of some overweight midgut with a penguin mask." Roulette Girl mocked. "Overweight?! You're gonna pay for that!" He snarled as he leapt at Roulette Girl, trying to smack her with his umbrella. Roulette Girl for the most part manage to dodge out of the way of Penguin's attacks, even managing to hit him with a kick to his stomach and a left hook to the face.

However, Penguin managed to gain the upper hand as he jabbed her in the stomach with his umbrella before kicking her into the wall. "You fight well for a girl but your still no match for the Penguin." Penguin taunts. "Now then, I have an EMP generator to steal." Penguin says as he walks over to the device. But before he could grab it, the EMP was struck by multiple throwing stars Roulette Girl threw while laying against the wall. A few moments later the device exploded, and with Penguin being near the blast he got knocked against the wall with so much force that he was knocked out. "Hmp, looks like this girl manage to beat you." Roulette Girl says triumphantly. And just as she picks herself up Ace, Batman and Batwoman charge into the room.

"Glad to see you guys could make it, after I manage to beat the guy already." Roulette Girl says with some snark. "You okay?" Ace asks his partner. "Just some bruises, I'll live." Roulette Girl replies. She then notices Batwoman restraining Penguin. "So, what are we gonna do with him?" Ace questions. "We're going to get information." Batwoman replies before she slaps Penguin, waking him up. "Huh, what?" Penguin says trying to get his bearings. "Answers Copplepot, or else!" Batwoman demanded. "And what are you going to do if I don't answer?" He says not phased. "This." Batman says a tad darkly as he grabs Penguin and begins to drag him to the window. He then opens the window and starts to dangle Penguin out of it. "Ahhh!" He yells in terror. "Dude, what are you doing?!" Roulette Girl asks, shock by Batman's actions. "Getting answers! Now Copplepot, a fall from this height won't kill you but it will hurt, very much. So, either tell me who hired you and the others or you're going freefalling." Batman threatens. "Ok, ok! I'll talk!" Penguin says in a panic.

Satisfied with his answer, Batman pulled Penguin back inside the window. "Now talk!" Batwoman demands. "Ok... The person who hired us was some guy named... Blackjack." Penguin tells them. Roulette Girl's eyes immediately widen in shock and horror. 'Him? Why did it have to be him?' Roulette Girl thought alarmed. "Why did he want the EMP?" Ace asks. "I don't know boy, he just promised us a lot of money if we did." Penguin responds. "Who is he?" Batman inquires. "Don't know, he only referred to himself as Blackjack, and he always had on a mask. That's all I know, I swear." Penguin tells them. Satisfied with the response Batman knockout Penguin with a punch.

We transition outside the Wanye Tech building as we see our heroes watch as the cops take Penguin, Firefly and Bane away and the paramedics attend to some of the guards and staff members that they attacked while inside. "We'll make sure those three get back to Arkham Asylum." Batman tells Ace and Roulette. "Thanks, although I feel like our problems are just beginning." Ace replies. "Whoever he is, he'll be foolish to underestimate you two." Batwoman says. "Thanks for the vote of confidence." Roulette Girl says. "And hopefully we can team up again." Ace adds. Both of the bat siblings' smirk before Batman says, "Maybe." He then presses a button on his utility belt and a few moments later a bat theme plane appeared above them.

"You have your own plane!" Ace says with a hint of jealousy. The only smirk before they grapple into the plane and fly off, leaving Ace and Roulette. "Well, the last two days sure have been something." Ace notes. "Hmm." Roulette Girl hummed. "Hey, you sure you're okay?" Ace asks. "Yeah, yeah, of course. I'm just tired. I better get home, see you." Roulette Girl tells Ace before grappling away. Ace felt like she wasn't telling him everything, but he decided to let it go and respect her privacy as he grapples away himself.

We now see Ace enter the bunker on his motorcycle and take off his mask. "Man Lisa, today was hectic. You wouldn't believe how tough those guys from Gotham were." He tells her. But as he looks up, he sees the frowning faces of Clyde, Henry and Ron. "Hey Lincoln, or should I say, Ace Savvy." Henry says bitterly. With his friends now knowing his secret, Lincoln only had one thing to say. "Dang it."

As for Roulette Girl, she made it back to her house fairly quickly. She then props open her window and enters the house through it. "Sid, you would not believe how crazy those criminals from Gotham were. They pack a punch." She says as she takes off her mask. She then hears someone clearing their throat and turns to see both Stella and Jordan standing behind her with a sheepish looking Sid. And with her friends knowing her secret left Ronnie Anne with only one thing to say, "Dang it."

A/N: And that's all for chapter five folks. Can you believe it, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne teamed up with Batman and Batwoman. In case you are wondering, Allen and Alice Wayne are OC's that I came up with. And if you want to see more of their adventures then check out my other story titled Gotham Knights.

As for Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, what challenges will they face next now that their universe is expanding, find out in chapter six.

A/N: I changed Alia's name to Alice simply because I think it fits better.
