Chapter 5
The sounds of cheering and the madness of the Quidditch World Championship could be heard everywhere on the island the tournament was currently located. But, while many rejoiced in Quidditch's glory, almost the entirety of the wizarding world population, those who weren't really interested in such a show, like Rose and Hermione, weren't really enjoying it, at least not entirely. However, they were genuinely amused and entertained by the festivities.
"I never thought it would be like this," Hermione said as she tried to move past the many people camping around the arena. Rose scoffed amusedly.
"You haven't seen anything yet, Hermione. Today's game is the final between the Irish and Bulgarians. And no matter who wins, it will be quite loud later on, believe me."
"Truly?"
"Indeed."
"I guess it is just like football then. Muggles do love it as well."
"Football...? Ah, yeah. I remember now. I think my mother is a huge Liverpool fan."
"I can't imagine, lady Potter, being a football fan," Hermione said as Rose smiled with an amused face.
"My mother is a woman filled with surprises."
Rose said while following the family across the many tents.
"Still, how are you feeling, Hermione?" Rose asked, while the bushy girl only sighed but kept a smile. Hermione didn't want to cause a scene, especially not in front of Charles and Ron.
"I'm fine, Rose. Don't worry about myself. Alright? Let's just enjoy this craziness together."
Rose chuckled as she hugged her bushy friend's arm. "Just remember that I am here for you, Hermione. You're my best friend."
Rose told Hermione as they followed the family of Potters to the meeting point, where a group of other people was already waiting for them.
"Blimey, James, you took your sweet ass time!" Sirius said, with his cheerful tone, next to Remus, who coughed awkwardly at him.
"Sirius, language," Remus said, earning a scoff from the Lord of House Black.
"They are old enough now! Surely they have heard worse by now."
"Not many were like you, Sirius. They taught you how to curse in many ways, and not only with your wand," James added with a smile.
"No one is like me," Sirius said, hugging James.
Rose noticed the reaction of the three of them. She had to admit how pleased she watched his father with his best friend. They were patching their friendship in a good way. She still believes the resentment was still lingering there. The pain of losing Harry would never leave them, but they were slowly moving forward. And it was for the best if everyone moved ahead. It wasn't healthy to hold on to so much hate.
Lily even smiled at them as the friends acted as if they had never had a fight. It truly brought joy to her to watch her husband smile like he used to before. But for a brief second, just a small one. Lily saw a small young girl with deep green eyes, a beautiful shade of green, walking by with a group of people she had never seen before from the corner of her eyes. It was fast, and with so many people and shouting, they were soon lost in the sea of people.
What...? Who are they? And those eyes... they were so familiar. Lily thought, but soon her focus changed to Charles's exclamations.
"Padfoot! Moony!" Charles exclaimed.
"Hey there, Charles! How are you doing, old chap?" Sirius said, with a wide smirk, hugging gently.
"Old? I am still reasonably young. Not like your or Moony thought."
Sirius and Remus faked hurt. "Old?! We aren't old! We are currently in the prime of our lives!" Sirius said, earning a few chuckles from the rest.
"If you keep drinking like you always do. You'll be ten years older before summer comes," Rose said teasingly, and Sirius stared at her, amusingly upset.
"Let me tell you, my dear Rose. A Black never gets old," Sirius proclaimed.
"Your mother did certainly live long enough," James muttered.
"That she did," Remus added too, and now Sirius was speechless. Since he couldn't really say something different. But, he kept his facade of someone insulted. However, as the group started to get acquainted with each other. The arrival of another family seemed to have sprouted yet another festivity within the Potter family, who rejoiced at the Weasley patriarch's appearance. And next to him, the twins, Geroge and Fred Weasley, and the youngest of the Weasley children, Ginny, smiled at them.
"Blimey, Arthur, and here we thought you've lost your way!" James said, while Arthur only laughed.
"I do apologize! Amos and I lost track of time!"
"Now, lads, what don't we find our camps and get ready for a long night?" James said, and all of the kids just followed the adults to their camps, some excited, others not so much. Nevertheless, they would soon experience a peculiar night filled with horror and surprises. Since, not too far away, a family was doing their best to appear normal and failing miserably.
It wasn't their fault, not indeed. Ainz and the people posing as his family members were exotic and captivating. Making them easy prey for the many people staring at them, gawking as the group of Nazarick inhabitants walked among the many magical folks with fake faces and with ridiculous outfits. Their leader and master, Ainz, felt somewhat embarrassed about the many stares he was receiving.
He was wearing a rather cute androgynous gown, a relatively gothic dress, leaving no way to indicate if he was a boy or a girl. Ainz's hair fell on one side of his shoulder in a long braid with beautiful stones, decoring his hair. And make-up to exploit his unnatural gorgeous face. The wizards and witches only gawked at him, feeling attracted to such elegance and beauty, but yet. They were all wondering the same.
Was it a girl or a boy? And well, who cares?
Ainz sighed deeply, knowing his decision to dress in such a way turned against him. But truthfully, he couldn't care about it, any less that he cared about how they thought of him. Yes, Ainz dressed as a girl, with make-up and even womanly undergarments. And yes, Ainz was enjoying dressing as such. Why? He wasn't sure. Maybe, Ainz was a closet pervert all along. Perhaps, he just liked the way he looked. Or he was just going on with the flow of current events. Nevertheless, it was done. He'll keep dressing like that for the foreseeable future, and no one could say otherwise.
"It doesn't matter," Ainz muttered, watching the stadium ahead. A more significant place than he initially thought.
"My Lord, currently, there are 14 prominent Noble and Most Ancient Houses here. Amidst some of the Most Noble Houses, and just Noble Houses."
Albedo whispered, and Ainz nodded.
"What are our orders, lord Ainz?" Sebas asked.
"Mmhm, just as Demiurge told you. Albedo, you're the mother and matriarch of the Nazarick family. Sebas, you're the father, and Lord Nazarick."
Ainz told both of them, and for it was pretty funny to see, Albedo's face when she heard she would have to play the role of Seba's wife. Even, Sebas looked quite anxious at the sight of Albedo's mod.
"It's just for appearance's sake, understood?" Ainz added with a sigh. "And stop calling me, Lord. It's weird. Pretend you're parents."
"Understood, Lord Ainz," they said simultaneously, making Ainz groan with mortification.
"What about us, lord Ainz?" Narberal asked, with Solution, Yuri, and Lupusregina. They were all wearing their everyday maid outfit, except for two. Lupusregina and Narberal.
"Yuri and Solution are our maids. While you, Narberal, and Lupusregina are my sisters. And stop calling me, Lord Ainz!"
"Whoah! I am your sister! Fufufu, so exciting!" Lupusregina squealed with contentment.
"I'll do my best to not disappoint you, my lord!" Narberal added with seriousness. And again, Ainz groaned.
"A family is not perfect. If we want to portray our family as mysterious and authentic. We need to have a good backup story. So, Lupusregina is an adopted sibling... we found her in a trash can many years ago."
Ainz said, and Lupusregina's excitement disappeared when she heard her backstory.
"Ah... trash can... my lord?" Lupusregina asked nervously, but her voice was quite muffled, and practically, Ainz ignored her.
"Narberal, you're a lovable sister and very quiet."
Narberal only nodded fervently.
"Yuri and Solution are our caretakers and highly professional. And Sebas and Albedo are lovable parents who wished nothing for the best for their children. Understood?"
"Understood, Lord-!"
"Don't say it!" Ainz hissed.
Ainz again took a deep breath and looked ahead of him. It was good, there was so much noise from the cheering and other things. Otherwise, their infiltration plan would have been crushed. Yet, Ainz was prepared for the worst-case scenario. Currently, around them. The rest of the guardians, with some other members of Nazarick, were encircling the place. Shalltear, Entoma, and CZ were flying above them. Using invisibility to hide. Demiurge was overseeing everything and had Cocytus and Pandora's Actor on stand by.
Maybe, Ainz was overreacting and putting too much effort into what could it be a typical night in the Wizarding World. Yet, his paranoid mind wouldn't let him just act freely. However, perhaps his worries should focus on his family and how they behave.
"Albedo, who is the minister of magic?" Ainz asked, trying to get things going.
"A man by the name Cornelius Fudge," Albedo replied.
"What do we know about him?"
"He is a short man, highly unintelligent, and incredibly corrupt. Our information about him is limited as of yet. But we do know he is in the pocket of many lords. Especially of those considered to be... dark families. Whatever that means."
Ainz hummed, thinking about his first step if he met that person. If he was indeed corrupt. Ainz would just follow the game, or maybe he'll play the other route. Making his family stand out more. Nazarick needs to be above all families. The name itself would command respect. So, if Ainz wanted to reach that point, he would use other means to achieve greatness. Bribing was boring, and money could only give you so much. Artificial respect felt empty if it was manufactured. There was no real power over those who Ainz wished to control. He wanted something more tangible, something that bribing and mind control couldn't give him.
The pleasure of being above all, as he sat on his throne. Ainz wanted the feeling of power and fear slipping through the people below him.
Well, first. I need to see how powerful this magic is. I genuinely hope it is not a disappointment. Ainz thought.
"Well, let's find him and introduce ourselves. Shall we?"
Ainz said, and everyone nodded obediently as they followed him through the sea of people.
The stadium was massive, but to be fair. Ainz has never been in a stadium. So to him, everything was gigantic and new. And while his focus was on meeting the Minister of magic. He looked around for a brief moment, enjoying the spectacle.
So this is a stadium, eh? This is my first time being in one. Indeed this is a new experience for me.
"My lord... uh, Ainz... the minister of magic is there," Albedo as she corrected her sentence midway. Ainz took a deep breath, ignoring his minions' evident hardship with just calling him Ainz. Then he saw a fat man surrounded by some people, nobles perhaps.
"Mm, we must play out as planned. Remember, we are a new family arriving in Great Britain. Do all of you remember our backstory?" Ainz asked, and again, they nodded.
"We do. Pandora's Actor has taught us all about it," Albedo whispered, making Ainz glad that he won't have to worry about details.
Maybe, I should trust them more. My own insecurities are showing; just relax and focus.
Ainz then nodded at Albedo and Sebas and proceeded with the plan. Sebas adjusted his clothes and slowly approached the balcony, where the most influential people in the Minister were all speaking with each other. They have paid quite a large sum of gold to obtain such a premise. At least, to Wizarding World standards. Truth be told, for Nazarick, it was pocket change. Ainz wanted to make an impression on the Minister of magic. Well, honestly, what he wanted was to meet the nobles in the Minister's inner circle. The first impression was necessary, so if he was closer to them then, Ainz could see if they were a threat or simply annoyances.
This is my first time meeting nobility. I always wanted to see what it was like, be a noble and all of that. Let's hope I don't mess up! Ainz thought while trying to keep up an innocent face.
Ainz could see a few people watching them, surprised and mesmerized by them. He couldn't blame them. Sebas, the butler, towered over all of them. The muscles of the Nazarick's butler and the sheer intensity of his eyes could easily make anyone nervous. But then again, Ainz also thought. Those nobles were looking at the females of his group. Understandably, they were all dead stunning, and captivating. So, that type of reaction was expected. But it was what would come next, that would set a chain of events that could forever change the course of history in the Wizarding World as Minister Fudge stared at them in shock.
"Uh... who are you?" Fudge asked, baffled by the sheer intensity coming from that man's gaze. Sebas replied with a smile.
"Apologize, Minister. Please allow me to introduce myself and my family. My name is... Sebas... Nazarick."
"Nazarick?"
Fudge muttered, and he looked around him, looking for an answer, among the many nobles lords there. And from what he could see, no one knew about the Nazarick family.
"Nazarick...? I have never heard of such a family."
A lord with long blond hair spoke, hazel blue eyes, and an incredibly arrogant, smug face, filled with disgust stared at Sebas. Yet, like the others, that man couldn't stop staring at Albedo and the other girls with lustful faces. They even stared at Ainz, not knowing he was a man.
"Ah, this is our fault. It's been quite a long time since we came back to Great Britain. We have been living in quite an isolated place, you see? And now we're here, trying to reconnect with the general population."
Sebas said with a charming smile.
"Reconnect, you say? Well, you must have quite the gold if you could purchase your way in," an unnamed lord said.
"Indeed. The ticket is costly since few could sit next to the Minister of magic without being invited. Of course, my family was personally invited to assist, isn't right, Cornelius?" the blond Lord said with a big condescending smile.
"Of course, lord Malfoy! How could I forget the Malfoy family? You and your wife are my closest friends!" Cornelius said, with a somewhat apprehensive voice, since in true. The Malfoy was the only reason he was still in power. Malfoy gold was inflating Cornelius's pocket, and everyone knew it.
"So I heard. But in truth, for us. The tickets were really cheap."
Sebas added with a friendly chuckle. Earning a few stares.
"Cheap, you say?" Cornelius asked while his eyes were shining brightly at the mention of gold.
"You sound sure of yourself. Do you have vaults in Gringotts?" The blond-haired man asked, with hidden intentions.
"Of course, we have! We needed a lot of time moving our assets to Gringotts! The Goblins were kind to give us three-level 0 vaults."
When Sebas said those words, everyone there practically choked.
"Level... 0?!" A beautiful woman with long blond hair and an incredibly voluptuous body gasped softly. She was standing behind the many lords, next to the ladies. They were furiously gossiping not too long ago at the sight of the newcomers. The arrival of such a man, like Sebas, brought old feelings to them, feelings of ancient passions and desires. The noblewomen were gushing at the sight of Lord Sebas and his muscled body. They were pretty debauched of his body and hoped they could see more of it. But that changed as Sebas told them, the number of vaults his family has. The gorgeous blond-haired woman started to panic and whispered to her husband.
"Lucius, you heard?!" The woman hissed, trying to hide her reaction from everyone, as Lucious Malfoy only glared at her with an "I know!" type of face.
"Three-level 0 vaults?" Fudge whispered, still dumbfounded.
"Of course! It is expected, right? My family has quite the gold and artifacts that needed saving."
Sebas said, playing the role of the innocent Lord perfectly, making everyone around him change their postures towards them. Ainz wanted to laugh. He knew why they were incredibly shocked. A level-0 vault was special. Only the oldest and sometimes most mythical families have one. Gringotts only gave those vaults to families, who they considered premium, so to speak. They weren't cheap, and it cost a fortune just to maintain one open. But, having one vault of that level meant that you were big enough in terms of wealth and power. And the fact they have no one but three was just the cherry on the top.
"They were kind to give us two more, free of charge. So we're lucky!" Sebas laughed brightly, and Ainz had to admit that his butler surely knew how to act.
"I-indeed!" Fudge exclaimed while his eyes looked like two huge lamps shining in the dark.
"Oh, but where are my manners! Sorry, we got ahead of ourselves. This is my family, my dear wife, Albedo Nazarick, my two daughters, Narberal and Lupusregina Nazarick, and my son, Ainz Nazarick."
"Son...?"
One muttered while they all stared at Ainz, who waved at them, smiling innocently at them. It was a funny reaction. Yet, the demeanor of the families there changed entirely. Since, now, unbeknown to Ainz and the rest of Nazarick. The noble's houses there believed they were Purebloods just like them. Because, in their mind, there was no way. A family with three-level-0 vaults at Gringotts was tainted with mudblood in their lineage. Also, they were all Slytherin to the core, so they wanted a new family to join their ranks or try to use them to their advantage.
"Ah, of course, manners. We should have done it properly."
Lucius Malfoy said with the most arrogant voice he could muster. He gave a slight stare to the rest of the room, and the rest of his minions nodded. They needed to make an impression on them fast.
"Lord Lucius Malfoy, of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Malfoy. And this is my wife, Narcissa Malfoy."
Lucius said arrogantly.
"A pleasure to meet your acquaintance, milord," Narcissa said, with the most elegant tone she could muster. Sebas, following the protocol, kissed the hand of the lady as the rest of the nobles presented themselves. All of them trying to distinguish themselves from the rest. Very elitist.
Fawley, Rosier, Rowle, Avery, Bulstrode, Carrow, Flint, Parkinson, Nott, Yaxley... Shafiq. Mm, quite the names we have here. I don't even know half of them yet. I know they're from the so-called Sacred Twenty-Eight. So, I think having them close could prove helpful to me. Yeah, I should definitely see if I could use them to my advantage.
Ainz thought as the first step of the plan succeeded.
The Potter family walked to their designated area on the podium, excited and incredibly happy to see what was to come. Well, most of them.
"I thank you, Lord Potter, for this invitation," Arthur said while James just waved it off.
"We're friends, Arthur, don't need to thank me."
"Still, to get my family such seats is something I'll never forget."
"Don't worry about it, Arthur."
James replied with an exasperated tone.
"Holy, Merlin's ball! Look at that rack!" The twins exclaimed, and Arthur was about reprimand his children. He stared, with his jaw open, at the view before them. There, just a few meters away on the other side of the balcony podium, looking down the Quidditch field. They could see the Nazarick family, especially the women of the Nazarick family. Their reactions were the same as the other lords had not too long ago. Since they couldn't look away from the curves and voluptuous body shapes.
"Morgan's saggy tits..." Sirius whispered while staring at the woman with long black hair. That woman was Albedo, who is currently hiding her anger away with a pleasant smile.
"Sirius!" Lily hissed, and while she didn't like gawking at people. Even she couldn't deny how stunning the family ahead of her was. It was ridiculous.
"What do they feed those girls?!" Lily muttered while staring at the curves of the youngest girl, who she believed to be their daughter.
"I don't know, but I think I'm in love," Charles said loudly enough to everyone. His eyes were staring at the beautiful girl with long dark hair. The girl in question was Narberal Gamma, who was annoyed beyond comprehension. Since, currently, she was talking, or well, just listening, to a certain blond-haired boy who was smirking all the way.
"Look, Malfoy is trying to get a girlfriend," Fred whispered.
"Mm, she doesn't look thrilled," Ginny replied.
"Who would be? It's Draco Malfoy we are speaking about. She looks ready to kill him," George said.
Rose and Hermione had astounded faces since they were currently seeing the boy they met not too long ago. He was smiling or pretending to smile, not that they knew. At the horrible jokes of some of the kids, they arrived not long ago.
"Who are they?" James asked.
"I don't know, but for all magical in the world... that woman is dead gorgeous!" Sirius said.
"I won't deny it, but... who are they? Remus, do you know something?" James asked, and the Auror captain was again surprised by the sheer intensity of Remus's stares.
"Remus...? What is it?" James asked with a worried tone.
"The girl... the one with long red hair and tanned skin. I think she is a werewolf," Remus whispered.
Everyone then looked at the girl who seemed to be enjoying life, practically laughing at the stupid jokes of the kids around her. Those poor kids didn't know; they were currently around a psychotic werewolf who was just waiting for the moment to torture them slowly.
"A werewolf...? Are you serious?" Sirius whispered.
"Yeah... no doubt, just look at her eyes, and she just feels... like me but different."
Remus was having problems trying to explain to them what he felt. His inner wolf was telling him how that girl was incredibly dangerous. A sort of sixth sense was screaming inside him that he should run. But, of course, he would not do that. Remus just calmed himself down.
"It's part of their family?" Lily asked.
"Perhaps, she looks very well-dressed, so no doubt they take care of her," James said.
"That's so nice of them," Hermione whispered.
"Yeah, that's true."
"But, who are they?" Sirius asked one more time.
"We'll find out soon enough," Lily said.
"But not now. Let us find our seats," James added, and as the group was going away. Both Potter's parents suddenly saw a set of green emerald eyes. They froze, as then, an angelic face held a smile while talking to one of the kids. Lily felt her heart stop for a moment.
"Harry...?" She muttered slowly, feeling her old wounds open one more time. James felt the same and quickly took his wife's hand.
"It can't be..."
James whispered, but he had to be strong. First of all, those eyes belong to a girl, not a boy. Harry, their Harry, was a boy. It couldn't be the same person. It was impossible. Rose, who was next to her parents, saw the reactions, and she couldn't hold it on any longer.
"Mom, Dad, that is a boy."
Lily and James looked at her in shock, and Rose sighed.
"Hermione and I met him back in Diagon Alley. He was buying books. His name is Ainz Nazarick. He seems around my age. And... he was adopted by that family, it seems."
"Adopted?" Lily whispered huskily, with pain and hope.
"Yeah, he told me he doesn't remember much of his childhood."
"James...!" Lily's hands were shaking as James was doing everything in his power to not break. Yet, he took a deep breath. James wanted to be a rational man. Things weren't making sense, and so. He would not act like a Gryffindor, ironically.
"Lily, let's go..."
"But...!"
"We don't know anything... let's just talk for a bit, alright?" James said, pleading with his wife. Lily understood him, she really did, but she was still a young mother, grieving the loss of her child. Nevertheless, Lily held herself together and exhaled.
"You're right. We can't make a scene here. Especially before the likes of them."
Lily said, pointing at the faces of the Dark families.
"James, Lily, was wrong?" Sirius asked softly as Remus got close to him. The rest of the kids were still staring and talking about who those kids in the Nazarick family may be. Not noticing the look of the adults.
"Prongs?" Sirius whispered, and James only pointed at the boy with green eyes. And both Remus and Sirius had the same reaction as James and Lily.
"What...?" Sirius muttered.
"Not here, Padfoot. Let us find a quiet place," James said.
The group moved away from the spot, filled with doubt, confusion, and yearning. It was hard to see with their eyes. The desperation to see the boy they once loved alive again blinded them to the world's harsh reality. Yet, that hopefulness, and blindness, would serve Nazarick just fine.
Ainz groaned loudly while sitting on his chair inside their rather luxurious tent, which they bought for the current mission. He was impressed with the ability of something such as this to exist, yet his mind was somewhere else.
"What was that game?" Ainz whined loudly, and he was not the only one thinking the same.
"I share your feelings, my Lord. I have no idea what the games were about... but the noise. Those humans do love to scream loudly," Albedo said.
"The humans like to chase those balls, that's for sure," Lupusregina said jokingly.
"And not only that... to endure the company of such low-worms. The blond larva kept on talking to me... I felt like dying," Narberal said dramatically.
"It seems he likes you," Lupusregina teased, and Narberal gagged.
"Enough both of you," Yuri said.
"Still, we did learn quite a lot from the families there... the wizarding world is divided into two."
Ainz said, and everyone nodded at his wise words.
"Those who support Dark magic, and those who support White magic. I don't see the difference, but I think the ideologies remain. And it's a weakness in this world. We must exploit it."
"How my lord?" Albedo asked.
"Division creates distractions and opportunities. This world seems to focus on what is considered good and what is evil. The whole magic cast system is instead... strange and rather stupid. But nevertheless, we will take advantage of them."
Albedo sighed like a schoolgirl, in love. "Ah~ my lord's mind works like no other!"
"Uh... yeah. Now, I'll speak with Demiurge and you, later on, Albedo. I think we could think of something."
"What about the so-called Dark Lord?" Sebas asked, and Ainz hummed, thinking about it. The only reason Ainz knew about it was because the blonde-haired Lord Lucius Malfoy kept talking about him.
I wonder if he is in love with him. Ainz thought amusingly.
"Well, let's talk about our next move."
But before, Ainz had any time to say anything. He was interrupted by an upcoming message.
"{Lord Ainz, this is Demiurge.}"
"{Demiurge, what is it?}"
"{It seems there is a problem brewing among the camp. It seems to be an attack perpetrated by a group of masked men. Should we engage them?}"
Ainz was surprised to hear such words, yet, he thought for a moment that it was the perfect opportunity for him to truly test the magic of the world.
"{No, I'll handle it. This is a good opportunity to experiment.}"
Ainz said with a big smirk.
"{Keep an eye open. And try to find more about this group. Do not intervene yet. I want to see more.}"
"{Fufufu! As expected of my Lord Ainz! I know exactly what you'll do! Don't worry, let the rest to me!}."
Ainz did not want to say more since it was Demiurge who he was talking to. So, he just sighed and ended the conversation. Yet, he stared at the group before him and droned about the next move.
"We have a new situation on our hands. There's about to be an attack in the camps."
"Oh! Should we fight them?" Sebas asked.
"Um, no... well, not really, no. I want to test the world's magic and put the Nazarick family in the spotlight as saviors of sorts. That would be good publicity for us. So, I would like you to listen to my plan."
"We are at your orders, my lord, always!"
Albedo said as the rest paid attention to Ainz's words.
Rose walked among the camp tents alone. She needed some time away from everyone after having to see the boy again. She was thankful that Hermione was having quite the conversation with the twins about some magic used in the pranks they pulled off. Who would have thought that Hermione would enjoy a discussion with the Weasleys twins? Rose thought amusingly.
Yet her mind couldn't shake the conversation her parents had. They were having problems coping with everything. A part of their rationality was telling how absurd the idea of Harry being alive was and how it was their own grief speaking to them. Still, Ainz had the same eyes as Lily and Rose; he didn't seem to remember anything about his childhood. He was adopted by a new family that came out of nowhere and was somewhat questionable. It was too much to think about.
That's why Rose was walking around the many tents. She just needed time alone to wonder about the mysteries of life itself.
"I believe... I truly believe it's him."
Rose muttered, and the logic behind her statement was that, so far. Her life was filled with impossibilities becoming real. How could she deny the slight chance that it was her brother? Rose sighed, hoping the truth would come to her.
However, the only thing that came toward her was the sudden shouting of people. Rose saw fire coming from tents and dark spells flying around, hitting people left and right. She took her wand out, and fear filled her body as she saw those horrible green-shaped spells.
"The killing curse!" Rose exclaimed, and now she knew things would get only worse.
Rose moved across the burning tents while people were running away. She was looking for anyone who needed help, and it took not long before she found it.
"Hey, look what we have here! Two pretty ladies, eh?"
Rose leaned from a piece of burned wood and saw a group of men with ragged clothes, and she immediately recognized them.
"Snatchers!" Rose whispered.
On the ground, Rose saw a red-haired girl and a blond-haired one. It took no long before Rose recognized them.
"Susan, Hannah!" She whispered.
"Hey... I know you. You're the cunt's niece."
The Snatcher said while Susan hissed in pain, as it seemed severely hurt. Burned by the fire.
"Yeah, you're Amelia Bones' niece. That bloody skank put many of my friends in Azkaban. We are fortunate, lads. This is a far better reward than what they promised to us."
"Indeed!"
"And we have a cute blonde girl... I live young girls with blond hair."
"Should we have some fun with them before taking them with us?" One of them said, and Rose paled.
"Of course... no one is going to come for them. Besides, that bitch of Amelia Bones had it coming. I'll take the red-haired one with me, and I'll send dear Amelia, her niece's head in a basked when I trough with her."
Hannah started to sob as she was afraid of what could happen to her and her friend, but Susan kept a fierce face, deciding to put on a fight regardless.
"Touch me, and I'll cut your dick off!" Susan said, and the group of Snatchers looked shocked and amused.
"Haha! We have a fighter here! Good, otherwise it would be boring."
Rose, could hear the screams from the girls, and she knew time was not on her side. But at the same time, she couldn't just leave. It was against everything she believed in. Helping was her calling, and she would do it now.
"Five of them... I can take them... I know I can," Rose whispered while her hands were shaking. So, taking a deep breath, she decided to move.
Susan was putting quite the fight, defending her honor as a daughter of house Bones. She wasn't allowing the Snatcher to open her legs or have his way with her. Yet, the man was losing his patience.
"Fucking cunt!" He growled, punching Susan in the stomach.
"Susan!" Hannah yelled as she was being held by two Snatchers, slowly removing her clothes.
"Let's see what we have here!"
Susan cursed internally. Losing her wand in such a pathetic fashion would hunt her forever. I'm sorry, auntie. Please forgive me. Susan's eyes were covered in tears as the man stripped her clothes. But before the worse took place. A bright light ambushed the group.
"Lumos Maxima!"
Rose yelled, pointing her wand at the group, blinding them temporarily.
"Petrificus Totalus!" Rose yelled, pointing at the one on top of Susan.
"Susan, take his wand fast!" Rose yelled, and Susa snapped back to reality and did as she was told.
"Expelliarmus!" Rose pointed to one holding Hannah, and Susan did the same to the other one.
"Expulso!" Susan yelled, pointing the wand directly to the chest of the one undressing her dearest friend. The last two remaining Snatchers were able to put on a fight, but Rose was still faster than them. All those time practicing with her father has served a purpose.
"Locomotor!" Rose yelled, quickly followed by another spell. "Expulso!"
The Snatcher flew away, and soon, Rose found herself evading another spell directed at her. It almost hit her, a killing curse. Rose reacted in panic and fear. Her heart was beating incredibly fast, knowing she was dealing with the worst type of wizards. She had to make a choice.
"You filthy bitch! I'll kill you!" The last Snatcher standing yelled, filled with fury.
"Crucio!"
Rose threw herself away, evading the curse by centimeters.
"Stupefy!"
"Protego!" He yelled, and Rose cursed.
Yet, he didn't notice how incredibly furious Susan aimed her wand at him.
"Confringo!" Susan yelled, hitting the Snatcher right in the back, and such spell was of an explosion. So, it was no surprise the body of the man reacted the way it did. A chunk of the man's shoulder flew, and the rest fell to the ground.
Rose and Susan stared at each other. Rose was out of breath, and so was Susan. And it took a few minutes before they spoke again.
"I kill him... I kill a man."
Susan muttered in pain as her leg was still burned. Hannah approached her and hugged Susan. Sobbing profoundly and trying to make her friend don't feel guilty.
"It was you or him... don't blame yourself. You know what they would do to you and Hannah," Rose whispered, kneeling before her.
"I... you're right. Snatchers are scum... one less is good for our world. Thank you, Rose, for saving us."
Susan muttered, and Rose only sighed but smiled.
"Don't mention it, Susan."
Rose replied, but then she looked at the burned leg and winced.
"Can you walk?" Rose asked, and Susan grimaced.
"No... I used a minor healing spell. I guess that is why I am not screaming my lungs out."
"We should get you out of here," Hannah said, shaken. She wasn't really a person, who worked in high-pressure situations, but she was doing her best to remain calm.
"It's alright, Hannah, just... relax," Susan hissed, in pain but hiding it away, to not worry her dear friend.
"Hannah, help me. Let's pick her up carefully."
Hannah and Rose slowly picked Susan up when two men and more Snatchers appeared out of nowhere. The girls were not fast enough to take their wands and defend themselves. It took them completely by surprise.
"Expelliarmus!" Two masked men shouted, taking the wands out of the girls.
"Death Eaters!" Rose hissed.
"Well, well... what do we have here? Rose Potter."
Rose listened to those voices and shivered while looking around for any escape, but they were surrounded.
"It seems they beat some of our own," a Snatcher said.
"Yeah, poor folk. Our friend is all over the place."
"Enough talking... we have hit the jackpot with this."
The Death Eater said while the girls were slowly walking backward.
"Kill the girls, and bring the Potter brat... she's going to serve us well for the future."
"Can we have fun with them first?"
A Snatcher said, earning a few chuckles from the rest. The Death Eaters themselves didn't seem to honestly care.
"Do it fast... we have not much time."
"Nice... I want to do it first, with the red-haired girl... the one with the big tits."
"I like the blond one."
"I'll take the other red-haired girl... the one on the floor."
"Enough wasting time and hurry up!"
Rose and the rest of the girls started to fall backward, and sooner they realized they were trapped. Now, Rose was afraid and didn't know what to do. So, she could only think of praying to whatever entity was watching over her.
Someone please...! Help me!
Rose thought, not knowing that looking from above, a certain incubus was looking at the scene, waiting to arrive at the right moment to make himself the hero.
"Well, let's see how powerful the magic of this world is."
