Dearest Diary,
Oh deary me! I've completely forgotten about these diaries! I've been so busy that overtime they just kept slipping my mind until eventually they just escaped my mind entirely. Well considering that a lot has happened since the last entry, I figured I'd take this entry to go over what Klonoa and I have been up to these past few years.
I had a long, hard think about what to do regarding my time left in this world and how Klonoa is going to be able to live on his own. In the end, I decided that the best course of action would be to teach him how to be independent. He is currently 7 years old, so I've been slowly, but surely, showing him how to perform simple actions such as cleaning, writing, reading and making simple meals. In time, I'll be teaching him how to cook and keep things tidy around the house.
Although my dear boy has been more than eager to learn new skills and keep himself busy, I still feel somewhat guilty as I feel like I'm growing him up too fast for a boy his age. However, again, my time in this world is short, and soon he will be all alone. He needs to learn these skills to become strong and independent. I only hope that I'm doing this right.
Tomorrow is another day,
Elise
