Dearest Diary,

Today was a good day for my dear Klonoa as the strawberry seeds he planted were now fully grown and ready to be picked. For the past few months I have been teaching Klonoa about gardening and growing plants and food. I showed him that his parents earnt a living doing the same thing. Growing fruit, vegetables and plants and then selling them at the town market. Their stall was quite popular with the townspeople and it seems that Klonoa is set to follow in their footsteps.

Once he planted those seeds a couple months ago, he watched over them, watered them, and one time he even protected them from the rain by standing outside with an umbrella. Poor Klonoa got such a bad cold from that, but he didn't mind. He cared for those plants like they were his children. His parents were quite similar to him in how they tended to their garden. In fact, their love for gardening was the reason they became a couple in the first place.

Lorna and Solas were originally "rivals" as they put it. They competed against each other over who could grow the best gardens and who made the most money with their agriculture. However, overtime they slowly started warming up to each other, their competition became more friendly, and their bond started to grow as strong as the gardens they tended to. This eventually led to them merging their businesses together into one and becoming partners, in both business and romance.

I am certain that if she was still with us, Lorna would be so proud of her son for happily continuing the family passion. I know that I am absolutely proud of my dear boy. I'm sure he will nurture such a beautiful garden as he grows alongside his plants and flowers.

Tomorrow is another day,

Elise
