AN1: I am not going to put into Trig besides the obvious words like "Heda" being commander. When they are explicitly speaking Trig (grounder language) it will be probably just (….) talking to show that part of the conversation is not in English.

There is only 3 others Naruto/100 fanfics on the site and they all have Naruto part of Skaikru so I thought it would be fun if Naruto was on the other side as a Grounder particularly the Commander. Yes I have watched all 7 seasons of the 100 so I will try to use lore best I can.
Also Naruto is STRONG to the point he doesn't take shit like Lexa was. He can handle people like Titus and people both respect and fear his powers but they still mostly love him (mostly not everyone) regardless.
For the flame…. Naruto can choose to filter out whoever he wants. He mostly talks to Becca but other people can talk to him if he lets them. He is NOT going to be taken over by the Dark Commander.
For pairing…. Honestly a harem… probably Clarke, Lexa (she will feel love towards Naruto. I know Clexa fans will hate me), Octavia, Harper and whichever woman I feel like.
Chapter 1 The 100's Arrival
Naruto Kom Trikru sighed on his throne in Polis. He lazily flicked his sword as another person from Trikru was on their knees in the throne room singing his praises again. Naruto was the current commander and hence the leader of the various clans that made up the people collectively known as "grounders". He had won his conclave and right to rule after taking on the "spirit of the Commanders" and reciting the lineage.
(Heda! Praise your name! It is another wonderful day under your name and leadership!) The Trikru woman sang as she bowed her head at the blonde with blue eyes.
Naruto gave her a tired smile as he nodded in appreciation.
(I appreciate your kind words Shizuka of the Tree People. Give my praise to your village for another bountiful harvest) Naruto replied warmly with as Shizuka eyes widened before she rapidly bowed her head at Naruto's praise.
(Thank you so much! My Commander! Our village is in your debt once again!) Shizuka stated nearly at the point of tears at the Commander words.
Indra-one of Naruto's lieutenants- rolled her eyes but had a small smile at Naruto's warmth towards his subjects. However, the Fleimkepa (Flame Keeper) Titus who stood on Naruto's left opposite to Indra was far less amused.
(Enough! Heda's time is valuable! If you do not have any concerns or worries leave at once!) Titus announced as Shizuka whimpered and closed her eyes as two guards came to apprehend her.
"ENOUGH!" Naruto shouted as he stood up making his guards and everyone drop to their knees as Shizuka got up only to get on all four again.
"Tidus! Mind your tongue! I will not tolerate such disrespect towards my subjects!" Naruto snapped as his blue eyes narrowed at Titus who shuddered and took a few steps back.
"Forgive me Heda. I meant no disrespect." Tidus pleaded as the guards got on their knees and pleaded forgiveness as well.
Naruto sent Titus one more warning glare before he turned back to Shizuka with a warm smile.
(Shizuka Kom Triku. Rise.) Naruto told her gently as the woman with a busty figure and green eyes looked up at him as she rose to her feet.
(Forgive my Fleimkepa. He has a habit of being a bit protective. However, I will never think it's a waste of time to hear my subjects worries or concerns.) Naruto told him with a smile that set the woman heart at ease.
(Thank you Heda!) Shizuka bowed as she turned around and walked back with the two guards following her from a respective distance after Naruto sent them a nod.
Once they left an irate Naruto turned around and walked to Titus with a frown.
"Heda…. Naruto please don't." Indra said after a moment as Naruto had told her countless time he preferred informal first name basis when they were in private settings.
Naruto turned to her with the same cold eyes that made him feared as Heda making her wince.
"Not now Indra. Titus needs a lesson on curtesy." Naruto told her coolly before he turned his attention back to Titus who was looking fearful.
'It's the same look he had when he broke the arms of every ambassador who refused to accept his ascension after he spared the lives of Luna and Lexa.' Indra thought in worry as Naruto Kom Trikru ascension to Heda was the stuff of legends.
His sheer show of pure strength and compassion made the clans fall in line and love him as he showed the Coalition of 12 clans why he was 'chosen' to be the Commander.
"Heda please…. I only spoke to honour you nothing else." Titus pleaded as he attempted to get on his knees to beg forgiveness from the current Commander.
Naruto however was not in the mood as he grabbed Titus by the neck by one hand and lifted up the tall man as if he weighed a feather.
"Titus. You forget your place. You have power as I give it. You speak on my behalf when I allow it. You do not intimidate my people or my guests especially in my presence." Naruto told him coldly as Titus kicked his feet and tried to pry Naruto off to no avail.
"Please Heda! Forgive me!" Titus gasped as Naruto wasn't choking him but was applying pressure preventing Titus from resisting.
Naruto came in closer so he could look Titus directly in the eyes as Indra had a hand on her sword nervously but did not move closer.
"You may have gotten a different impression from the Previous Hedas but I am not a puppet or fool. I rule all my people with a firm but loving hand. I will not have a mere advisor undermine me especially making orders to my soldiers without my say so. Do you understand Fleimkepa Titus?" Naruto growled as he tightened his grip.
"Yes Heda! I was wrong. Forgive my insolence and behaviour!" Titus apologized as Naruto glared at him for another few moments.
"Very well." Naruto declared as released Titus who fell onto his butt and gasped for air.
"Anything you wish you to say Indra?" Naruto added as he glanced over at the silent woman.
"No Naruto. I understand my role." Indra said quietly but with a fierce hint of pride in her voice.
Naruto nodded to himself as his frown disappeared and turned into a huge grin.
"Now let us eat my loyal advisers!" Naruto chirped as he walked with his two advisors shortly behind him.
'Heda is very childish behind the mask but this makes everyone at ease with him regardless of your rank.' Indra mused with a small smile.
Naruto, Indra and Titus walked out of the throne room into a room several rooms over which he jokingly called the Diner Hall much to Titus silent annoyance at the silly name. There was a massive table with two seats opposite of each other of the ends of the table with many seats along the way. It was generally accepted that the Commander or other leaders like the ambassadors would sit at the end of the tables.
However, Naruto was not like most people as he sat right in the middle and insisted Indra and Titus sit to sides claiming that was what friends do much to their collective embarrassment.
Soon several female servants came in as Naruto sent them a huge grin.
"Thank you for the services." Naruto told them brightly as the three-woman blushed up storms and bowed.
"Of course, Heda." They chanted as they left the food and walked out after quicks bows.
"You should really stop treating everyone so nice Naruto. It sends the message you are their equal." Indra mumbled as Naruto rolled his eyes.
Titus sighed but did give a small smile at the food presented in front of him. One of the first things that Naruto the Commander did was massively overhaul the way food was processed and served. Prior to his ascension most Grounders ate a diet primarily of meat and various liquids.AN2: However, Naruto had told all the ambassadors their food system was not effective at feeding the masses of their people so he introduced new methods of cooking and preparation.
One method was using a giant stone bowl filled with water and various plants dubbed 'spices' to cook plants and meat enhancing their flavour and giving new ways for food preparation.
Naruto also taught his people how to turn wheat into floor and other grains to create food to quickly fill them up thought out the day. AN3:
In front of Indra and Titus was a chunk of bread and a bowl filled with something Naruto had called stew while Naruto food was something bizarrely called ramen with noodles, broth and various vegetables and meat.
In the beginning many people were unhappy with the changes but when Naruto actually showed them the benefits and taste of these new foods gradually the clans settled down and even started to praise the Commander for these new changes.
As Naruto was slurping his noodles happily Indra and Titus were silently eating their food at much quieter pace.
These continued on for awhile till there was a knocking on the door.
"Pardon the interruption but this is an emergency! Please allow me to enter Heda!" A man's voice asked urgently.
"Enter." Naruto said simply as he set his bowl down and waited in his seat.
The young man entered and bowed to Indra and Titus while he knelt for Naruto.
"Heda, Indra, Master Titus." The man said as he waited to be addressed.
"Rise Gustus." Naruto said politely as Gustus bowed his head and rose to his feet.
"Our scouts have reported a massive metal object coming from the sky! It appears to have landed on the line between us and the Mountain Men!" Gustus announced with worry in his voice.
Indra and Titus looked alarmed while Naruto looked troubled.
"I see. Thank you for the report. Tell the scouts to not approach the site till I have made a decision on what should be done." Naruto told him seriously.
"Yes Heda! I shall inform them!" Gustus replied with a bow as he walked out and closed the door behind him.
Instantly any thought of the food sitting in front of them vanished as Indra and Titus turned to Naruto with worried looks.
"Is this an invasion from them?" Indra asked with a frown.
"You mean Skaikru (Sky people)?" Naruto asked with a frown.
Several years before his ascension there was legends of a man who came from the sky into Trikru territory and was killed by the father of one of the current warriors Lincoln of the Tree people. Naruto did personally agree with the situation but it was before his time as Heda and it appeared to be a rash decision made on the spot in his opinion.
"Heda! There must be action taken. If there are people that came down, we cannot allow them to go unpunished coming to our lands unprovoked!" Titus insisted as Indra nodded her head.
Naruto took on a serious expression as he rested his chin on palm and elbow on the table.
"What do you suggest? A strike of all 12 clans against a small population that has come from the sky?" Naruto asked with a hint of sarcasm.
"Yes Heda! Or at least contain them to prevent them from encroaching into more of our lands." Indra retorted before she flinched as Naruto fingered his sword absentmindly.
"Hmmm. I think you are suggesting a genocide of people who are unlikely to know of our borders as if they are invaders. I will refuse that suggestion. I not allow needless slaughter to happen if there is a peaceful solution." Naruto said as his eyes narrowed.
"I am not the Mountain Men!" Naruto added as Indra and Titus flinched.
It was well known Naruto's hatred towards the men who saw his people as blood banks and savages. AN4:
"We shall send scouts to see what the intention of these people are but not attack or provoke them." Naruto commanded as he raised his hand up to silent Indra and Titus complaints.
"Gather the Ambassadors and I shall explain myself to them. However, it is my decision and not theirs." Naruto added coldly as Indra and Titus nodded their heads reluctantly.
"Leave me. I shall be there shortly." Naruto announced as he out his hand up.
"Heda." Indra bowed.
"Heda". Titus knelt.
Both of his advisers walked out back to the throne room.
Naruto closed his eyes and took a deep breath. After a few moments his eyes got orange pigmentation as they opened. It revealed his eyes had changed from sky blue to yellow with toad like pupils aka horizontal pupils.
'Sage Mode.' Naruto thought as he glanced in the direction of the rocket.
'Hmm… I sense… 100… no 98 people over there. Judging by their life forces they are about my age or so,' Naruto thought as he crossed his eyes.
'Hardly an army…. Just children really…. Perhaps some sort of experiment on whether the Sky People can survive on Earth? Its hard to think of any of reason why they wouldn't send scientists or engineers rather then children in a single rocket.' Naruto mused.
"They don't even appear to be warriors judging by how their life force seem to lack physical energy like my people do." Naruto said before a smirk appeared.
"Although if Becca is right whatever is left of the stations up there wouldn't exactly have resources for physical conditioning like on Earth here." Naruto joked as he rubbed the back of his head where the AI known the Flame was implanted. AN5:
Naruto sighed as he released the natural energy inside of him making his eyes return to blue as he got up and walked to the throne.
A few hours later the ambassadors of the 12 clans arrived and stood in the throne room.
Naruto was sitting on his throne with his two advisors dutifully on his side. The ambassadors all knelt when Naruto stood up.
"Heda!" All the ambassadors chanted as Naruto nodded.
"Rise." Naruto said professionally as he sat down. This made all the ambassadors stand up and sit on assigned chairs.
"As you have no doubt heard from now. A rocket from space carrying people from the sky did crash into Trikru territory a few hours ago. I have learned it is 98 children my age or younger." Naruto announced as the ambassadors started to grumble.
"Heda! We must strike now!" One of the ambassadors chanted as several others rose up to show their voices.
Naruto raised a hand as everyone grew quiet.
"I understand your concerns but I see no reason why a strike is necessary. They are just children all things considered and unlike us are not trained as warriors." Naruto said smoothly.
"Then what do you suggest Heda?" The ambassador from Azgeda (Ice Nation) asked loudly but he bowed when Naruto eyes narrowed slightly.
"I have decided we shall watch and observe the new arrivals for now. There is no need to make enemies if we do not need to." Naruto announced as the ambassadors looked confused and angry at his decision.
"Heda! What if they are like Mountain People and declare war on us?" Another ambassador shouted as Naruto face grew serious.
"If they are truly not willing to make peace then I personally will punish them." Naruto stated coldly as everyone shuddered at the implied threat.
The ambassadors nodded and were about to leave but Naruto stopped them with a hand.
"If anyone decides to antagonize the Sky People without permission I shall no mercy. You know what I did to Queen Nia of Azgeda so you shall know I mean my words." Naruto warned with his eyes cold as ice. AN6:
"Remember I will know if someone has betrayed me." Naruto warned as the ground appeared to shake when Naruto gripped his throne.
"Yes Heda!" Everyone chanted as they bowed and left.
'Nobody knows exactly what Naruto's 'magic' is but we can't help but respect him ruling us fairly without dominating us all.' Indra thought nervously as it wasn't said out loud but Naruto powers frightened even entire armies of people to death.
"Indra. Make sure to stress to Trikru I will not make exceptions to my first people. Anyone who disobeys my commands will feel my wrath." Naruto warned Indra who gulped but nodded.
"Yes Heda. I understand." Indra bowed as her and Titus walked off leaving Naruto alone.
"I might have to make an example or two. Even my warnings will not discourage everyone from acting stupid." Naruto mused as it was human nature to act stupid if they thought they were right.
Naruto then summoned Titus and Indra and the Ambassadors back into the throne room.
"My fellow leaders. I have decided to do a little experiment." Naruto announced as the ambassadors took their assigned seats.
"Experiment Heda?" The ambassador from Floukru or the Boat clan asked.
Naruto sent her a small grin making her flustered as Naruto personally liked Flokru despite their unique position within the Coalition. Flokru was led by Luna one of the Nightblood survivors that Naruto allowed live during his Conclave. In return for letting Luna lead a select people into the ocean and not involve themselves during the affairs of the alliance Naruto had suggested that they still had a Ambassador in Polis and that if war came out that Flokru would send some warriors like the others.
"How is Luna? It's been a while since I have seen her! She would come visit as an honoured guest!" Naruto whined as the ambassadors sweatdropped at Naruto's childish rants which they were used to.
After a minute Titus coughed as Naruto blinked and coughed.
"Right Ambassador. By experiment I mean I will go into the Skaikru camp as a simple villager and learn about the people there." Naruto explained as he rested his chin on his palm sitting lazily on the throne.
"Absolutely not!" The Ambassador from Sangedakru the Desert clan shouted rasing an arm out.
"Heda! We cannot trust them!" Trishanakru-the Glowing Forest clan- ambassador shouted as he got several agreements.
"Heda! I must agree. This is foolish! Why risk yourself going into the enemy camp?" Titus asked furisouly as Naruto looked bored.
Naruto raised a hand as the ambassadors quieted down.
"I understand you are worried about me and I am pleased to hear your concern BUT I am not a fool." Naruto stated as his face grew serious.
"Do you remember what I did to Azgeda and Queen Nia when they tried to take Polis from me? Do you remember why King Roan of Azgeda sits on his throne now?" Naruto asked rhetorically as everyone glanced at the Azgeda Ambassador who looked at his feet in terror.
"A few dozen children will never harm me and take me hostage." Naruto claimed as the clans leaders nodded in agreement.
"However, I am not a fool. I will allow you to assign warriors to watch the forest outside their base but you not fire unless provoked. You will stay out of sight and watch only unless I give a direct order to intervene. Is that understood?" Naruto asked the clans who looked at him with admiration.
"Yes Heda!" Everyone chanted as they saluted him.
"When do you plan to start your observations, Heda?" Indra asked with a hint of worry as Naruto turned to her with a small smile.
"In a few days Indra. I shall tell you the time shortly beforehand and you can convene the ambassadors and spread the word. No harm shall come to these new people unless I order it! Is that clear?" Naruto ordered as he turned back to the clan leaders.
"Yes Heda!" Everyone chanted as they bowed.
"Dismissed." Naruto said as the room cleared and Naruto sighed.
'I really hope people aren't stupid.' Naruto thought drily as he stretched his arms.
Soon enough later that day Naruto was proven right about people's stupidity. Jasper one of 'the 100' the self-proclaimed name of the Sky people who fell from the drop ship was speared by a warrior and left for dead.
Unluckily for the assailant Naruto did not break his promises and sensed the entire thing after he did a check with Sage Mode. Faster then fastest horse or missile Naruto ran from Polis to the Drop Ship area appearing little more then blur to the naked eye.
"Heda!" The warrior shouted with eyes wide as he was caught dragging one the 100 a boy away with a spear in his chest.
"You idiot! Did Indra tell you to do this behind my back?" Naruto snapped as his eyes were narrowed in anger as the warrior dropped the boy and fell on his knees. AN7:
"No Heda! Indra does not know I was here." The warrior admitted as Naruto glared at him.
"Then why did you disobey a direct order from your Heda to observe but not antagonize the Skaikru?" Naruto asked crossing his arms as had a hint of impatience.
"Forgive me Heda. The Mountain Men stole my parents from me years ago. I cannot forget this, Heda!" The warrior begged as Naruto nodded.
"I can certainly understand why you cannot forgive the Mountain Men for their actions against our people but he is not a Mountain Men." Naruto agreed before he frowned.
'I haven't decided if these Sky people are our allies or enemies yet but I truly want to give them a chance.' Naruto thought as he felt a general discontent hum from the Flame which he ignored.
"This child has not done anything to our people yet but you have decided to attack him without a just cause." Naruto added with a disappointed frown.
At Naruto head tilt the warrior got off his knees and stood with his head held down in shame.
"I shall let Indra decide your punishment but do not think she will be merciful. She knows my expectations." Naruto decided as he glared at the warrior.
"Thank you, Heda!" The warrior replied as he bowed his head and stood up.
"Go! Report back to Indra and do not think of running away or lying. I shall know." Naruto warned before he put a hand out before the warrior could run.
"Wait. Take these to Indra and tell her that I will start my experiment a bit early." Naruto added as he took off his Commander armour and sword giving them to the shocked warrior.
"Yes Heda! I will guard them with my life!" The warrior stated with awe in his eyes.
"Make sure you bring them to Indra safely as I will be most displeased if they get damaged or lost." Naruto warned with a cheerful smile making the warrior shudder.
The warrior bowed and soon ran off holding the Armour and Sword with awe making Naruto smirk.
Naruto turned to Jasper and sighed as he quickly pulled the spear out in one quick motion and quickly grabbed a dagger and heated it with tiniest amount of fire chakra. He placed the heated-up dagger against the wound sealing it shut making the unconscious Jasper groan but not wake up.
Once the bleeding stopped, he placed special moss that would prevent infection and heal him while he slept and sealed up the damaged with clean bandages. One thing he did insist on was teaching his people how to make clean bandages which was carried by warriors and healers onto the field.
'Well, this will be fun to explain. Hey I am a grounder who you don't know carrying your friend after one of my people speared in the chest. I know it doesn't look good but can we be friends?' Naruto joked to himself knowing this was going to be a rough day for him as he sighed.
He picked up the kid -who he would later learn was named Jasper- with one arm and dragged him easily as he was carrying a light sack of potatoes.
"I guess I better have a peace offering huh?" Naruto mused as he focused for a second before, he flicked the dagger past some trees seemingly into a random direction.
A moment later there was a startled gasp before a thud as Naruto walked over there. It was a male dear that he had hit with the dagger and the single blow went into brain killing him instantly.
"I am sorry about this but these kids probably need food right now." Naruto apologized as he lifted up the corpse of the deer with his free arm and dragged both the deer and Jasper towards the camp where the 100 were living. He dragged Jasper with considerably more care half carrying him against him.
"Here we go." Naruto said as he near the camp knowing he will have to act the part of a simple warrior not the fearsome Commander but he smirked abit.
AN2: This is isn't a bash but in most scenes prior to season 5 (where in the bunker they HAD to eat plants or die) Grounders appeared to eat tons of meat on screen. I mean its effective where animals are abundant to just grill them but Naruto wanted change for all his people.
AN3: Don't ask how just accept it's a ripple of Naruto being there.
AN4: Naruto dislikes mostly the leadership who make decision like the Harvest and Cerberus programs. By the context its implied he hasn't dealt with them… yet…
AN5: Naruto is a true commander so he can fully access and talk to the previous ones. He is also aware of a lot of history because he talks to Becca (the first Commander).
AN6: Lets just say in a culture where strength is power Naruto is not the most kindest to rebellions or outright disobedience.
AN7: All warriors aka soldiers know English so Naruto usually uses English outside of meetings. Its just his preference and most warriors reply in English in kind.
