AN1: What do you guys think of adding Abby? Some daughter and mother loving for Naruto?
If the first chapter wasn't clear this is a reincarnation of Naruto Uzumaki. He was reborn as a Nightblood (Natblida) with the same rough appearance and memories (eventually). Naruto doesn't bother with his former last name as grounders usually use the name of their clans for the secondary name.
I mostly had this chapter planned out when I wrote the first so that is why it was so quick. I don't have a solid plan for this story.
Harem: Clarke, Lexa, Becca(inside the flame), Octavia, Raven, Harper, Fox, possibly more (Luna, Echo etc)
Chapter 2 The 100 meet their first Grounder
Clarke officially thought God or whatever was up there was screwing with the 100. She was in solitary confinement on the Ark waiting for another month before her reassessment for her 'crimes' hoping/praying she would be offered leniency. She had reasoned with her medical skills from her mother she at least had a chance if nothing else that doctors were a rarity on the Ark. However, she was drugged and put onto a dropship after being told her second chance would be with 99 other kids being sent to the ground.
'Oh, Jaha makes it sound so glorious as if they cared about any of us but I know its just to reduce oxygen intake on the dying Ark so they can maybe have a chance to fix it. If we all died at least there would less mouths to feed.' Clark thought bitterly knowing her father was floated for finding the fault in the Ark's design and wanting to bring it to the public which the Council had staunchly refused.
They had arrived on the ground (after three idiots died after taking off their seatbelts) and found the ground survivable only for Clarke to learn that they were on the wrong side and very far away from the bunker called Mount Weather.
Well long story short sea monsters, a grounder spearing Jasper and them running from their lives soured the 100 new experiences on the so-called ground.
Despite what her mothers warned her Clarke could not help taking on a leadership roll even if some of kids around her despised her for being 'one of the privileged'.
"Guys we have to head back! Jasper is still alive!" Clarke yelled to the group who gave her wary looks.
"Clarke. That spear was thrown from over 30 feet and hit Jasper right in the chest. Either he is dead or whoever threw that spear will do that to us." Finn warned her making her scowl.
Clarke was willing to admit having a bit of a crush on Finn if only for the fact he was willing to stand up to bullies like Bellamy and Murphy.
"Wow you are sure a tough guy." Clarke told him sarcastically crossing her arms in disappointment.
Finn sighed as he looked around the group.
"I am just being realistic Clarke." Finn admitted as he looked away from her stare.
"Well, I am not waiting to see if Jasper is dead or not. He is my best friend and I am going to find him even if nobody else is going." Monty declared making Clarke smile in appreciation.
Monty Green was a young man of East Asian descent with brown eyes wearing a gray and red hoodie. Clarke had learned he was an engineer on the Ark and unlike some people was willing to at least hear Clarke out.
"Well said Monty! I am coming too!" Octavia Blake claimed before wincing as her leg began to throb.
Octavia Blake was a younger girl who happened to be Bellamy Blake's brother (the only known brother and sister in the Ark's recent history). Octavia was a strikingly beautiful young woman with pale skin, green eyes and long dark brown hair.
Bellamy instantly put a hand on Octavia shoulder to hold her down as he looked worried at his sister.
"No you are not." Bellamy declared to the group and his sister making her scowl.
"Jasper saved my life against whatever was in the water and now what? We are supposed to leave him out there to die or worst?" Octavia asked incredulously.
Bellamy look clearly showed he was okay leaving Jasper out there making Clarke growl as she knew that it would be much harder to convince anyone to volunteer with Bellamy's actions.
Someone coughed near the gate as the group turned around and were on instant guard.
A young man was carrying a bandaged-up Jasper who appeared to sleeping but comfortably in his arms as the man gave a sheepish smile.
"Bad timing?" The man joked making several members scoff and a few giggles from several girls.
Clarke's heart starting to beat out of her chest as she felt her face turned flustered. AN2: Standing in front of her was very handsome blond-haired man with sky blue eyes you could get lost in. He was wearing what appeared to be some sort of paint on his cheeks giving him the appearances of whisker markings but rather then take away from his good looks only managed to give him an animal like charm that was both cute and rather hot in Clarke's appearance. The blond man was rather tall and very muscular especially his arms which he was carrying Jasper with no notable effort. The man was wearing an orange hoodie but the sleeves were shorter allowing his arms to be seen past the elbows and dark blue pants.
Clark took a peek around her and while all the males were on edge eyeing the first grounder they met in person with unease and worry, she was relieved she was not the only girl in their group who was eyeing the new guy like a teenage schoolgirl. Octavia was even swooning slightly and licking her lips in appreciation but luckily her brother had released her to step forward in between the new guy and their group along with several others.
Harper McIntyre young pretty woman with a slim build, long blonde hair and brown eyes was looking at the new guy was undisguised interest.
"Damn if this is what all grounders look like I gotta say they are not bad." Harper whispered getting several giggles from the girls who agreed.
Naruto perspective
'Hmm one thing about Skaikru….' Naruto thought as he glanced over the assembled kids. Despite several boys standing right in front of him Naruto was completely as ease.
'They make some really good women in space.' Naruto thought with a hint of lust as he already saw a blonde with blue eyes, a girl with brown eyes and long blonde hair and a pale skinned girl with green eyes and dark brown hair as very attractive girls. AN3:
Naruto could feel Becca send a hum of irritation from inside the flame as Naruto mentally shrugged.
'Blame my gender Becca-chan. Its not my fault despite being the all-powerful Commander I can appreciate the finer parts of women.' Naruto retorted playfully in his head.
'Besides you're beautiful Becca-chan.' Naruto thought sincerely mentally smirking when he can feel Becca sputtering in his head. He did find Becca very pretty every since he met her and found it very amusing to feel the serious woman get flustered when he complimented her. AN4:
'Naruto! Now it not the time!'Becca snapped although the fact he could almost 'hear' the shortness of breath made Naruto smile softly.
'Come to think of it, Becca did spend time in space before she became the First Commander. Maybe space has a way of making womens body more fit and sexy?' Naruto mused to himself.
Naruto mentally raised an eyebrow when a brown-haired boy and dark blue eyes with a nasty smirk walked up to him with a knife that looked handcrafted.
"Now what is a grounder doing on our land with one of our people?" The boy asked loudly as he pointed the knife at Naruto who looked amused.
Naruto scoffed as he walked past the boy making the boy rather angry.
"Who is your doctor?" Naruto asked politely. He looked around with interest as he could faintly see blushes on the women that he spotted early while most of the men looked at him with wary eyes.
"Don't you ignore me!" The brown-haired boy screamed as he ran at Naruto with his knife aimed at Naruto's back.
"Murphy don't!" the pretty blonde-haired girl with blue eyes screamed.
Naruto noticed that an older boy with an olive complexation, dark brown curly hair and brown eyes attempted to stop the first boy attack on Naruto.
'How sad.' Naruto thought drily as he could sense the attack a mile away and to him it almost appeared to come at a snail's pace.
Naruto casually stepped one foot to the left and raised his right elbow back in the moment it took the boy to plunge at him. The end result was Naruto dodging the attack with ease and slamming his elbow into the smirking boy gut making him cough up spit.
"To my people attacking someone back is cowardly. However, I don't take it personally luckily for you boy. If I did this love tap would not all I would do to you." Naruto stated coldly as he released his elbow and stepped forward.
This caused the brown-haired boy to cough and drop to his knees as his panted grabbing his stomach in pain.
"You bastard!" 'Murphy' screamed as he attempted to stand up and attack again.
However, the older brown-haired boy pinned him down and forced him to release the knife which a dark-skinned boy quickly picked up.
"That's enough Murphy! Its over." The older boy warned as Murphy growled but relented.
The camp was silent with most of the people looking at him awe at his reflexes and fighting style.
"I just have to say that was amazing." The Dark-skinned boy who took the knife admitted as Naruto turned to him with a polite smile.
"Thank you. Your name is?" Naruto asked politely.
"Wells…. Jaha…." Wells introduced notably pausing for his family name.
"Naruto. Pleasure to meet a level headed person." Naruto joked as Wells laughed.
"And thank you for stopping this Murphy idiot from being more an idiot." Naruto said cheerfully as he turned to the older boy who nodded reluctantly.
"Bellamy Blake. His name is John Murphy." Bellamy introduced himself as he sent a glare to Murphy who growled at the idiot response.
Bellamy got off Murphy who glared but backed up rubbing his stomach in discomfort.
Naruto then turned back to the group with an easy smile.
"Now that interruption is over. Who is your doctor?" Naruto asked again as he looked around.
"I am. My name is Clarke Griffen. It is nice to meet you Naruto." Clarke introduced herself as she had a faint blush on her cheeks but still looked professional.
Naruto vaguely noticed that she was the pretty blonde with blue eyes he noticed earlier. He resisted the urge to charm her and try to get into her pants at least for the moment.
"Clarke Griffen huh. Here is your man. I am sorry on behalf of my people for what happened to him." Naruto apologized as he bowed before he stepped forward.
"Jasper!" An Asian boy said in worry as he ran up and picked up Jasper from Naruto's arm as he and Clarke took his arms and let him rest against their bodies.
"Here are some bandages and special moss to help with the healing. If you make him drink the moss as a tea within a day or two with clean water, he should be fine." Naruto told them as he handed the bandages and moss to Clarke who looked astonished.
"This is…." Clarke mumbled as Naruto sent her a kind smile.
"Consider this my way of apologizing on behalf of my people. Trikru sends their sincere apologies." Naruto stated as he bowed to the hip.
'The Commander himself apologizing. If only Skaikru knew what you apologizing meant.' Becca remarked with a hint of teasing as Naruto resisted rolling his eyes.
'Well Becca Praimheda when I get Clarke into my bed, I will make sure you have front row seat to our love making. You seem so interested in watching everything I do anyways.' Naruto retorted mentally as he could mentally see Becca having a rather cute shade of red on her cheeks.
"Trikru?" The girl with green eyes and dark brown hair asked curiously.
"Tree People. The way the people are sorted here are based on where you live. My clan is called Tree People and we happen to be Tree People territory." Naruto informed them leaving out the fact it was his orders that kept the 100 from war the instant they landed in Trikru territory.
"Tch. This is nothing." A taller muscular boy dark blue eyes and light brown hair scoffed as Naruto rose up and looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Is there something you want to say to me?" Naruto asked slightly impatiently.
"Dax. That's enough." Clarke stated as Dax gave her the middle finger making Naruto instantly dislike Dax.
"Princess." Dax mocked as he gave a mock bow to Clarke making her growl.
"If this grounder wants to make amends to us for attacking one of our people. Give us the grounder who attacked us and we shall get our own justice!" Dax declared as several boys shouted in agreement.
"Yeah! Why should the grounder get away with attacking us?!" One of the boys in the back shouted as the crowd started to get rowdy again. Bellamy looked conflicted while Wells and Clarke tried to restore order.
Naruto started to laugh as the crowd quietened and looked at him.
"What's so funny grounder?" Dax hissed as he stomped towards Naruto.
"If you think the Trikru warrior 'got away' with his actions you clearly don't know Indra." Naruto commented as he wiped a tear from his eye from the laughing.
"Indra?" Bellamy decided to ask trying to probe for information from the grounder.
"Indra is the leader of the Tree People and believe me she does not go easy on anyone." Naruto commented with a smirk.
'Especially when Trikru dishonours me through their actions.' Naruto thought knowing of Indra loyalty to him was one of the greatest in the 12 clans. AN5:
Clarke and the Asian kid took Jasper into the dropship as the rest of the 100 stood in between Naruto and the Drop ship clearly a warning he was not yet welcome into their camp. Naruto merely stood there but he did think it would be funny to have sex in the drop ship if only to see their reactions.
A few minutes later the Asian kid ran up to Naruto and raised an arm out.
"Thank you for saving Jasper's life. I owe you one." The Asian kid said gratefully as Naruto smiled.
Naruto gladly shook his hand as the group looked on at the first physical interaction between Grounder and Sky Person.
"My name is Monty Green by the way. It is nice to meet you." Monty introduced himself as he raised his fist up.
"Hello Monty. It is nice to meet you too." Naruto said warmly as Naruto raised his fist up and completed the fist bump.
A majority of the group looked at the exchange with smiles rather pleased at the grounder easy and likable personality. Wells nodded his head in approval as well.
"I like you. Oh my name is Finn." Finn introduced himself as he raised a fist which Naruto fist bumped as well.
"Hello Finn. I am sure we will get along too." Naruto replied simply although he did have a sincere smile on his face.
Naruto looked at the rest of the 100 with a calculated look before nodding.
"It seems Skaikru is alright in my books." Naruto decided as he sat on the floor ignoring the wary looks from the majority of the males.
"Skaikru? Does that mean Sky people?" Wells asked curiously as it seemed to make sense as Trikru meant Tree People.
Naruto nodded as he pointed into the sky.
"For my people your people came from the sky although I know its more of that space station in space." Naruto commented as most of the 100 nodded their head as it did make sense from a grounder's perspective.
"It's called the Ark. The last safe heaven for humanity or so we thought." Monty added as Wells nodded.
Out the corner of his eyes Naruto noticed a majority of the kids rolled their eyes and some even scoffed.
'Must be harsh up there in a tin can with probably very limited resources. They would probably have to implement artificial population control.' Naruto mused as Becca had mentioned that it would be a likely scenario living in space for decades-almost a century-.
'I did warn them without Allie 2 they wouldn't be able to make it and it seems they almost didn't. They probably sent these children down to conserve oxygen for the rest of the Ark.' Becca added with a hint of bitterness in her voice.
'Hey. If you stayed up there you wouldn't have saved the rest of the Earth or been here for me.' Naruto told her in a comforting tone.
Becca didn't reply but looked awhile with a small smile.
'Plus your company did make most of the tech on the stations that would make up the Ark anyways. If anything you saved them just like you saved us.' Naruto added/
"Right the Ark. I am assuming you consider me a grounder since my ancestors lived here on Earth after the bombs while yours went to space." Naruto mused.
"Well Mr. Grounder. Maybe you can show me around? Maybe we can get better acquainted?" The very pretty blonde with long hair and brown eyes asked with a hopeful look as she came up close to Naruto.
A majority of the men frowned at the girl but Naruto gave her a warn grin as he looked amused.
"The name's Harper." Harper added as she raised a hand out for Naruto to shake.
She gasped and turned red when Naruto took her hand softly and raised it to his lips giving her soft hand a quick kiss.
"Pretty name for a pretty face. Pleasure to meet you Harper." Naruto said smoothly as Harper gripped his hand before she backed away with her face bright red.
"Eep!" Harper squealed at the intimate contact with the very handsome grounder although she would be lying if she wasn't rather pleased as well.
Octavia frowned at the contact before she perked up when Naruto moved around Harper and went to her with a charming smile.
"And who's this pretty lady?" Naruto asked warmly with a smirk that made Octavia heart throb.
'Okay this guy is like way better looking and charming then anyone here.' Octavia thought as she opened her mouth.
Naruto backed up when Bellamy stepped in between them with a scowl.
"Back up buddy!" Bellamy snapped as Octavia scowled at her brother.
Naruto tilted his head and looked amused.
"I was just asking the pretty lady her name. What is the problem Bellamy?" Naruto asked coyly.
"The big deal is I am not going to let some grounder hit on my little sister!" Bellamy retorted angrily wincing when Octavia walked next to him and shoved him.
"And I am can speak for myself!" Octavia retorted before she sighed.
"Forgive my brother. My name is Octavia Blake. It is nice to meet you." Octavia said with a smile.
'Hmm. Siblings. Seems odd as population control would probably limit one child per family. Ah maybe she was a secret and that is why she was sent to the ground?' Naruto mused.
'Seems logical. It is unlikely they are full siblings. Perhaps the same mother?' Becca responded as through the Flame they could analyze minor details more efficiently. The flame 'enhanced what was already there' inside the Commander. AN6:
"Nice to meet you to Octavia." Naruto said cheerfully moving his head slightly as Bellamy once again tried to get in between them.
"Bellamy!" Octavia hissed trying to walk around her brother.
"Octavia! We don't know him. We have to be careful and not frolicking with grounders." Bellamy stated as some of the ground opened at his open prejudice against grounders while Naruto was standing right there.
However, Naruto was amused if nothing else. Naruto smile turned into a smirk as a glint appeared in his blue eyes. Naruto snorted getting Bellamy and the camps attention.
"Something funny?" Bellamy asked annoyed.
"Sorry. Maybe I got this wrong…. But perhaps your overprotectiveness is due to jealously?" Naruto suggested with a sly smirk.
"Jealously?!" Bellamy shouted incredulously.
"I mean Octavia is a pretty girl and Bellamy could perhaps want her instead of letting her finding a boyfriend?" Naruto suggested 'innocently'.
Bellamy and Octavia face turned red with embarrassment as they inched away from each other.
"I mean on the ground there isn't anything wrong with shacking up with siblings. Maybe on the Ark but I wont judge if you won't." Naruto claimed with a huge teasing grin. AN7:
Bellamy looked outraged at the thought and Octavia looked like she wanted the ground to swallow her. It didn't help despite the majority of the 100 looking horrified at the thought they were still snickers and giggles mostly from the girls who could tell Naruto was joking.
"Sorry. I just wanted to break the tension abit. Despite what you may think I don't have negative intentions towards you and the Sky People." Naruto apologized as he offered a hand towards Bellamy.
Bellamy grunted but a gave a sigh. He was willing to admit to himself it did help the tension if nothing else and the grounder did seem to have a sense of humour at least.
Naruto raised an arm out and Bellamy took a moment before he took it as they gave each other a look of respect. This got smiles from most of the 100 especially Fin and Wells who believed peace could be possible.
Naruto then raised an arm towards to Octavia who blinked before smiling. She tried to walk towards him but she stumbled forward. Before she could fall on her knees Naruto had stepped forward and caught her by the waist and held his other hand on her back as if she was a princess.
Octavia blushed as her hands had landed on Naruto rough and very muscular chest by instinct.
This close proximity allowed them to inhale each other scent.
'Hmm smells like fresh trees? Maybe the forest.' Octavia mused.
'She smells good. I am not sure but if I had to describe it she smells like… Hot chocolate? Not sure how since I don't think they have on the Ark. Maybe its her natural scent?' Naruto thought pleased at the pretty brunette.
They stayed in this position for a few seconds before Bellamy annoyed cough reminded them, they were not alone. Naruto looked at her with concern.
"All you alright Octavia?" Naruto asked.
"Yeah. Thanks to you." Octavia stated softly as she pulled away but offered Naruto a sweet smile as she walked away.
Finn smirked to Wells.
"Seems like grounder boy is popular with the ladies." Finn noted as Wells rolled his eyes but smiled.
"The real question is. Will the rest of his people be like him and allow us to live in their land?" Wells asked worried.
Harper pouted at the closeness between Naruto and Octavia but still felt her heart throb at Naruto gentle lips on her hand.
Charlotte the youngest of the 100 glared at Wells crossing her arms in anger. Monty was just happy his best friend/surrogate brother was safe. Dax growled especially as he felt that Naruto was evil despite his lack of aggression towards them.
Murphy hissed in anger as he held his stomach in pain.
'That grounder humiliated me in front of everyone and no one cares! Plus, he got that hot blonde Harper to blush like a schoolgirl! But when I tried to hit on her she slapped my hand away!' John thought angrily remembering the lessons with Pike where Harper brushed him off before. AN8:
AN2: I know it's a pretty extreme reaction especially for Clarke for someone she has just met but Naruto is that good looking and he does look rather dashing carrying Jasper like some sort of hero. Plus, Naruto can freely admit a lot of grounder women his age find him rather handsome even before he became Heda.
AN3: Yes, this Naruto is abit horny and lewd if only because on the ground there is less morals. Plus he does need something to relax him from being the only thing stopping a majority of his people from killing each other.
AN4: I am not sure if Becca ever had a boyfriend in canon or not (its kinda unclear exactly what her background before ALLIE destroyed Earth) but in my canon she was so famous nobody wanted to approach her on a personal level so she died a virgin. Aka a perfect target for Naruto teasing but he does truly think she is beautiful. According to the wiki she died at age 29-aka burned alive by Cadogan's cult to get the flame from her head.
AN5: I won't explicitly show what the warrior punishment is but let's just say that Naruto saving Jasper is the ONLY reason blood must have blood does not apply to the warrior. The fact it was a direct insult towards Naruto is enough to make Indra seethe.
AN6: Yes, Becca will give her thoughts a lot in the story. She is basically the tailed beast for the 100 series. Yes technically the flame could give any dead commander that role but Naruto has the best synergy with Becca so she is the 'default' Commander.
AN7: Just my personal opinion as Indra and Lexa often refer to any Triku people as 'brothers and sisters'. So I think blood ties means a lot less on the ground then the Ark (they don't even bother with last names on the ground after all). So theoretically I don't think incest would be judged as wrong for grounders. Naruto is teasing and joking of course about Bellamy and Octavia.
AN8: I am not trying to bash Murphy but he was pretty bad in season 1. Dax deserves to be bashed as he killed someone on the Ark (said on screen) and was willing to do anything to get ahead even kill Bellamy (the self spoken leader).
