"Nico, stop!" Zak hisses. The doors to the Great Hall open with a bang. Sirius and Remus walk in. They spot Nico at the slytherin table and walk over to him. Nico points at the table. Professor Armstrong walks over. "Hey, you ok? Sorry if I upset you earlier" he tells Zak. Zak shrugs, "it's fine." The food disappears from the table. "Not like I'm gonna hate someone from my favorite band!" Zak mutters. Professor Armstrong sits on the bench in front of Zak. "Come on, I want to introduce you to someone" Professor Armstrong says. Zak blinks. "C'mon pup," Remus says, holding out a hand. Zak takes it. "Room of Requirements?" Sirius asks. Remus nods. Professor Armstrong stands up. "C'mon Nico," Sirius says. They walk out of the Great Hall and up to the Room of Requirement. Zak looks around in confusion, then spots a lefty fender precision bass guitar. Zak runs over and pokes it. Professor Armstrong looks from Zak to the guitar. Zak points at it, "my favorite bassist plays one of those!" Professor Armstrong blinks.
Mikey appears and says "It is being a bass guitar, of course he does". Zak blinks. "No, he plays a fender precision bass. His is a righty though" he responds. Sirius snorts in amusement. "Zak, are you talking about Mike again?" Nico asks. Zak told his eyes, "of course I am…" Professor Armstrong walks over and says "Would you like to meet him?" Zak just blinks, unable to say anything. "I'm sure he would" Remus responds for Zak. Professor Armstrong nods. A fireplace appears. Professor Armstrong walks over to it and summons Mike. Mike steps through with Britney. Zak looks over and freezes in place. "Oh dear, Zak is no being ok!" Mikey says, walking over and patting Zak's hand. Zak doesn't respond. Nico looks from Sirius to Britney. Britney walks over to Zak, and sits on the ground in front of him. "Hi" Britney says. Zak glares at her, saying in a voice that doesn't quite sound like his normal voice, "hi. I'm James, and I'm the protector in a Dissociative Identity Disorder system. Zak says to tell Mike hi, by the way. He's the current host". Nico blinks. James walks out of the room taking the p-bass and amp with him, slamming the door. "Sirius?" Britney says. Sirius shrugs, "I have no idea. This is the first I've heard of anything…" Professor Armstrong sighs, "at least we know James doesn't hate Mike…" James walks back in. He looks around. "I feel like Zak needs to explain some things" he says. Nico snorts, "no really?" James raises an eyebrow. Sirius says "please do. Also that's Nico, Zak's best friend, in case you weren't aware." James collapses. "Oh dear" Mikey says. Zak coughs. "Mikey?" He says. "Hi, Zak" Mike says. Zak blushes. "So ummm…. I'm Zak and I'm the host of a DID system. Basically the constant dislocations of my joints caused my brain to split different personalities. There's James obviously, who's the verbal protector. Meaning, the body isn't threatened enough to fight back. He only fronts when I feel unsafe. Then there's Mike. Mike fronts when I'm unsafe, and need to get out of a situation. Also he's never said a word while fronting. He's the one that will just glare at people. And there's MK, the system's major trauma holder. He's never been allowed to front. Also I'm pretty sure we have a dog, since Pinny died and we never really got over it." Mike blinks. Nico frowns. "Do you know who I am?" Britany says softly. Zak looks over at her, "are you my mom?" Britney nods. Zak gasps, "MIKE'S MY STEPDAD?!" Mike nods. Zak grins. "I play a fender p bass because of you" he says, blushing. Nico nods, "his guitar goes everywhere if he's not planning on sleeping at home, he has it with him". Sirius says "he's only been playing for 2 years but he's incredible. No idea how though. I have no musical talent whatsoever". Britney says "I have a little musical talent… but just how good is Zak?" Mikey smiles, "he is being able to play any bass line after hearing it just once…" Professor Armstrong blinks.
